Cynthia and Betty were both so helpful and patient with all of my questions and they took a lot of time showing me the different options that are available at different price points. They have a lot of machines from different manufacturers that you can try out and they also offer classes to help with your new purchase.

They supplied material to make a cute pouch in second class and I got to practice sewing a pouch with a zipper.Overall very happy and would highly recommend it.

Norma Jean Welter: Had to take my 6 yr old Riccar upright in for an emergency inspection after she started smoking. Thankfully, they were able to make the needed repairs for a very reasonable rate and the fact that they will put that money towards a new machine in the event the old one is irreparable makes the choice much easier in these tough economic times. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and the shop is easy to get to.

Chalipo K: Been a customer of Muia’s for about a decade. Personable attention to alterations performed quickly and at a reasonable price. Muia’s has altered and repaired all types of clothing for me. Sometimes I’ll bring in a “thrift find” and alter it for that finished look. Two small fitting rooms and a galleria with mirrors. Overall shop is small so limit wedding dress fittings to three people max. Plenary of wait space in mall outside of door tho. Bench too. Shopping mall parking near Cup n Saucer. Definitely a win here atMuia’s.

Lu Ann Flechsig: I was looking for an expert tailoring for two dresses. The most complicated one was a Chinese fitted silk dress. I wasn't really sure much could be done to it, so I asked for minimum corrections. She strongly suggested replacing the zipper to make the whole dress fit better and I am so glad I listened to her. It had one of those tight Mandarin collars, and I am no a delicate pencil necked person. She some how managed to be able to make the collar wide enough for my thicker neck and was able to adjust the snaps and decoration to match up. It was magic and I got so many compliments on my dresses. I don't think there is anything they can't make better!
Me: The lady here she is top-of-the-line and very inexpensive. I definitely recommend her!VERY QUICK AS WELL!!

I dropped off my jacket at 6pm on a Monday and she had it ready by the next morning at 10am! The woman was incredibly sweet and had absolutely no problem with my last minute frenzy.
