Some of the best ramen eggs I've had in the Bay Area as well. Karaage was piping hot and well seasoned with good dipping sauces.Wait staff is unobtrusive but diligent. They don't come around like every five seconds to ask how the meal's going, they just get their work done without interrupting your meal.Small tables, a counter, and a couple TVs kinda make it feel like a small noodle bar in a cyberpunk movie, but that's part of the charm. Josh Baltazar: One of my friends who went to SJSU recommended this ramen place so we all went to go and try it. A cosy space but nonetheless big enough we got a table for us. I ordered the Japanese Curry Cutlet which is a deep fried breaded pork cutlet topped with mildly spicy pork curry. My friend got the Miso Ramen which is a soy bean flavored broth, topped with wakame and diced fresh tofu. For a drink I got Soju Cocktail and I chose the lychee flavors.

Joel Falcon: We decided to try out Jinya for lunch while searching for a new ramen place. Arriving during off-peak hours helped us skip the crowds, which was a plus. The location is convenient, situated outside the mall near the Cheesecake Factory. The staff welcomed us warmly, and our waiter was attentive and friendly throughout our meal.Our food arrived promptly after ordering, and the flavors were delicious. However, we found the portion sizes to be a bit small given the prices. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and I would recommend giving Jinya a try.

When I ask my kid where she wants to eat and she says "Japanese food", she always means that she wants to go here and as a picky eater herself, that's tantamount to a ringing endorsement.Overall, we've found our go-to place for us whenever we just want to go out to eat somewhere that's cozy and familiar.

Etson Choi: For those people who said the ramen is very salty, either they never tried ramen in Japan or they are less sodium people. The ramen is not salty at all compare the ramen I have tried in Hong Kong and Japan. The soup base is soso but not bad. Soup base doesn’t have strong pork bones flavour or any sign of pork oil/ pork fat which is a minus but other than that, everything is a plus.

Leng Ooi: My group ordered katana ramen in shio, shoyu and tonkotsu. Good difference in flavors and the noodles is cooked just right. They have an ala carte topping menu too which looks really interesting for customization. There's sadly no tea or beer when we were there, either they ran out or doesn't serve them. Would have been a perfect ramen experience otherwise.

Anthony Giang: I'm not exactly sure, but when I arrived, the store had a closed sign, yet there were customers inside. Curious, I walked in and to my surprise the chef was ready to take an order. Not wanting to take up too much time, I just ordered some assorted tempura. He spent around 20 minutes making it, understandably slow because he was alone, but he threw in extra pieces to make up for the wait. The tempura was great with a light batter and crunchy exterior and the dipping sauce was the perfect pair.

No egg, etc. so even though these are listed as extra in the menu, you need to add them to get anything at all.Lastly, #2 spicy is barely spicy at all. If you get Original and actually want it spicy, 2 isn’t going to be enough for you.

If you love ramen, you must try this. If you like ramen and vegetables, you must try their Jiro style ramen. Tsukemen is also great. Eat one Jiro ramen, save one day of meals. Which is the best part of Jiro style ramen.
This was our first experience with Ramen and we absolutely loved it. We were three and order three different types of Ramen. Shio Ramen, Vegan Ramen and Tonkotsu Shoyo Ramen. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, go for Vegan Ramen which had rich soup and lot of ingredients. If you consume red meat, go for Tonkotsu Shoyo without any doubts. It's the best here. Shio Ramen is a clear chicken broth based ramen which was just okay compared to other two. Also, don't forget to ask for the spicy paste according to your preference which definitely adds up to the already amazing taste.

Bex Clark: Got the vegan ramen with egg add-on. we had the garlic edamame and it was stupendous! my ramen broth was wonderfully rich, the pickled ginger provided was a perfect add-in. looking forward to next visit. Rupinder Matharu: I thought this place was pretty good for Ramen in a mall … in fact it was better than I expected.I got chicken ramen, the soup base was very rich and had a fair level of spice for the spiciest level. I think it had a very good flavor overall for the soup, the noodles could have been a little softer but that may have been me not waiting enough after I received my order. I was pretty full after the regular sized bowl. Overall not bad for $12 for a quick bite while shopping.

Eve Lim: Went there a little past 8pm on a Sat night. Saw the staff starting to close part of the restaurant already. There was only 1 other table of 2 customers in the almost empty restaurant. Ordered the deep fried oysters and ramen. Wanted to try the ramen with Yuzu broth but when I enquired with the waiter if I’ll be able to taste the Yuzu, he said I won’t. Thought that is strange to have a description on the menu of broth having Yuzu taste but in actuality won’t taste it🤔 So I ended up going with his recommendation of one with chicken and pork base broth instead. Food was served fast. Oysters looked kinda over-fried as the batter looked rather dark, but tasted fine. The ramen noodle had a nice chewy texture and the broth tasted ok but nothing impressive. I wanted to try their ramen as I saw the pics online that they were chunky pieces of pork belly vs the usual thinly sliced ones. It is served chunky but it wasn’t as tender as I had hoped for. The taste was standard typical ramen taste except noodles were more chewy than most other ramen places. My friend had the Buta-ramen which had minced garlic, lots of bean sprouts and an egg which I noticed was a hard boiled egg and not soft boiled. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to dine here again since I can get better tasting ramen elsewhere.

The atmosphere was very clean, the service was very fast and responsive, and the food was EXCELLENT. I'm picky with ramen becuase most places can't nail their broths. The tonkatsu broth here was light with good flavor, the pork rib in it was tender and the meat fell apart easily. We had the fried oysters too and shared a bunch of the BBQ options. J S: I recently visited this place because I wanted some Ramen I came in and was warmly greeted and told that the menu is online and we order from our phone the service was very prompt and the food was given very fast even after ordering in less than 15 minutes. When the food came it was some of the best ramen I had ever tasted and I have actually come back more than three times already because of the great service and good food it is a little pricey with Ramen starting at $20 but it is very well worth the money they have a variety of flavors that I have never tried and never heard of but I have tried at least three already from coming back highly recommend if you like Ramen and Japanese foodParking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and the surrounding area

Dandelion: Came for dinner on Valentine's. I liked my seafood ramen, which had unclear broth base nevertheless tasted with scallops, clams and shrimp in it. You can substitute regular ramen with Konnyaku yam to be keto friendly with an extra $1.50. Tonkatsu ramen had delicious soup base that tasted like pork.However, the heavily bread-crumbed Chicken Karaage, though tasted and tender inside, was not very good because the batter was too thick.Small space and intimate vibe. Table was cramped and not too comfortable.Service was friendly and attentive.Recommend their ramens.

I usually can't finish all and make it to go but there I had all at once!! Hehe we'll definitely be back when we travel to NoCal again!The atmosphere of the store was nice and the staff were kind, making me feel like I was back in Japan. The ramen was very delicious. They’re currently doing takeout only, but the lovely couple took pity on me for needing to bike back to my office with a bag of ramen so they let me eat inside.This place seems to be missing the office lunch crowd, and is surprisingly quiet for the quality of food. Would recommend anyone check this out since it’s pretty good ramen for the price.Will definitely be coming again!
