I’m Dr. Randi Fredricks, a psychotherapist in San Jose, California dedicated to helping people experience healing, growth and lasting change in their personal lives, careers and relationships. Therapy is not unlike other services in that there are different levels of effectiveness. We all want to feel better, but what about feeling extraordinarily well? I believe that therapy needs to do more than merely restore us to our “previous level of functioning.” Therapy should provide us with the opportunity to lead our best lives. If therapy simply restores us to the way we were before, exactly what will prevent a reoccurrence of the issue that brought us to therapy in the first place? In order to prevent such a relapse, we need to learn how to implement new tools.


I combine the wisdom of ancient healing practices with modern modes of psychotherapeutic theory and techniques. Specifically, I bring to therapy the skills I acquired while studying psychology and natural medicine. During my education and training, I learned about natural methods of healing that have been used for thousands of years along with recently developed cutting-edge treatment modalities.

This spontaneity combined with sensitivity makes my work kind, swift, exciting, and enlivening.
