Monica Wu: It’s a long overdue post. I haven’t had my eyes examined for quite some time . I had a history of astigmatism before lasik surgery. Recently during the pandemic my line of work required loupes and a face shield . I was concerned that my eyesight was starting to change from those new safety precautions. Dr Kevin provided the most comprehensive exam I have ever experienced after years of eye exams in the past. He has a wonderful one on one approach with some providing educational information. Other optometrists are ready to sell you a pair of prescription glasses like used car salesmen. Dr Kevin has your eye health in mind and not pushy with his recommendations. Highly recommend !

Pete Boggini: I've written about Branham Family Eye Care in the past as I've always been very well cared for by the doctors and the eye glass/contact staff.Today I want to say special thanks to Evie. A few weeks ago I brought in a pair of my glasses and talked to Evie. I told her that I had them stored in the console of my truck and after spending some days in the hot 100+ temp I put them on and everything was foggy. Once they cooled off they were almost back to normal but I could see a halo effect if I looked a a light in an otherwise dark room. She confirmed that I had another pair or would be fine with her sending them back in which I did. She was able to warranty the lenses and I got them back in just under three weeks.What really impressed me though was when she called and told me I could come pick them up. With COVID, they have to take special precautions and normally when you pick up lenses they request you make and appointment if you want to try them on or want to work with them. I figured I didn't need that since these were just replacement lenses but when I got there Evie said "you have prisms in these so I just want to make sure that they are right for you". She came outside and asked me to try them on, she checked them out and made sure the transitions worked and that my vision was as expected.This is the type of service one dreams of getting. Honestly, when I heard that Tina was leaving I was worried that getting good support for glasses and sunglasses would go downhill. Thankfully Dr. Chow found Evie and she is wonderful. I today's ultra fast paced society with the added stress of the COVID restrictions it's amazing to find someone who really cares about their customers and treats them this well.Thanks Evie, I really appreciate you going the extra mile and taking care of me. It was certainly unexpected but it made my day.Dr. Chow, please make sure you figure out how to keep her there long term. She's the type of person you want working with your customers.

They are very open about their prices and are willing to work with you.Glasses selection:They definitely have a bunch of brands and a wide selection. MondragonMSaul: They are kind sometime there is miscommunication between the customer and workers but the optometrist is sweet and the ladies are trying their best. Coupled with the fact that their glasses selection is wide I very much appreciate it. the test is less than 30mins and your glasses arrive there in exactly 2 weeks they accept VSP insurance and others I’d call ahead to check if your provider is partnered with them

Christina: I have been a patient at Eye Focus Optometry for about 5 years now and never experienced any issues. For my previous exams, I was seen by Dr. Cindy Nguyen and yesterday I was seen by her associate optometrist: Dr. My Diep/Guino. What really motivated me to write this 5-star review is the experience I just had with their office. I had my annual eye exam yesterday with Dr. Diep and everything went well for the most part. However, when it came time to pay for my exams and contact lenses order, I was shocked to see how much extra I had to pay out of pocket after my insurance coverage. I didn’t make a fuss about it and paid it anyway as I didn’t want to come off as a Karen and I understand how healthcare costs has inflated over the years. Today, one of the staff from Eye Focus actually reached out to me to let me know that I was mistakenly charged the wrong rates for my exams and that my card will be refunded. I really appreciated how polite and professional the staff member was with addressing the issue and how the office took accountability for it even when I had no complaints. It really shows the integrity of the doctors and staff at Eye Focus Optometry. I’m really happy with the experiences I’ve had with their office so far and will continue to have my annual exams here.

My son wears glasses and they have a large selection for him to choose from. His glasses are always ready within a week or so. I wear contacts and I always come in when I am out. He always reminds me if I find myself without some to contact him and he will help me out. He is always kind and patient. His front office staff always makes sure to give me rebates for my contacts and the paperwork I need to go with them. My husband & daughter don't need prescription eyewear so the staff helps them get sunglasses instead, covered by our insurance. I was recommended by a girlfriend who had super cute glasses on and I'm so glad I was.
Mireya Coronado: This review is for two different visits. One was for my annual eye exam in early September. The nice lady who is their new receptionist took the necessary safety precautions and let me inside the office. The doctor took probably less than 5 minutes then came to greet me. He went over the usual eye exam and asked me if I had any specific concerns I wanted to discuss. The doctor made his recommendation and I made my decision to get a new pair of glasses and a new pair of prescription sun glasses. I feel very comfortable coming to this eye doctor. I think he provides honest feedback and if the patient has a questions he takes time to explain in simple terms. I was very satisfied with my visit and the service I received.The second comment I want to make is regarding a second visit I made because I had questions about my sun glasses. I called a few days before I came to the clinic and was instructed to bring by the clinic and bring my glasses with me so they can see them and help me with my concern. I arrived and a younger woman came to the door. I told her I was there for my sun glasses, she asked for name and then went inside. She came out, took my temperature and told me to come in. The older woman came out and tried to help me with my concern. After taking my glasses to the back to inspect them, she came back to tell me it was normal but that if I wanted to they could send my glasses back to the lab.I appreciated the help and orientation I received regarding polarized glasses. I do want to mention that the younger woman could have better people skills and be nicer to their clients.

Dr. Quicho was so awesome and very knowledgeable and was able to get my new prescription with no issues and a couple of pointers on how to take care of my dry eyes. I also always dreaded having to pick out my glasses but the gentleman in front. I want to say Edwin, asked me a few questions on the style I wanted and of course the shape of my face. They disinfect everything that is used, then have signs up for stations that are disinfected and safe to use, they adhere to social distancing, and check your temperature at the door.I 10/10 highly recommend.There is literally nothing bad to say about this office.

Every station that I’d go to was sanitized before I got there and sanitized again once I left. They are very good about keeping the number of individuals inside the office to below the minimums, and enforcing the current covid safety policies.Dr. Burger, Jackie, and the rest of the staff are amazingly accommodating and courteous; took extreme care with my checkup and frames I was getting lenses for, which even when I wasn’t fully satisfied with how they turned out, ordered replacement lenses with no questions asked.
Fast Track Learners: We have been going to Golden Hills Optometry for many, many years. We always had the most positive experience and enjoyed our visits. The office staff is very friendly and courteous. We feel treated like family every time we go there. Moreover, Dr. Burger is wonderful! He is very knowledgeable, professional, easy to talk to, and truly caring. Best doctor! We are blessed to have him. The selection of frames is great and the staff is helpful when choosing what works best for you. I highly recommend Golden Hills Optometry.
