Andrew Lutz: . The cilantro/jalapeño salad dressing was very good, the italian was not great. The alambre was fantastic and all the fixings were good quality! Unfortunately the carnitas were awfully dry, I would not recommend them. Other than that, we had an overall great experience and will be returning. $50 for two people, but with very large portions alongside plentiful chips and salsa, we got our money's worth.

David Huffman: Sit inside or out, cozy atmosphere, menu has everything, service is Gr8, Gr8 drinks, local FavoriteParking: Close by plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Children with parentsWheelchair accessibility: Wheel Chair is easy

Rebecca Sanfilippo: Roberto and his team catered a Celebration of Life I attended yesterday and they did a wonderful job! From the quality of food and the presentation, to the friendlyness of staff and their professionalism, I rate them a strong 5! I was so impressed I am at the restaurant having a flautia and tacos! Please support this family run business!!

Annie Shen: I’m stuck between 3-4 stars. 3 being bit too low and 4 being bit too high.Salsa is inconsistent through my multiple visits they somehow all tasted different.Tacos are good and the meat choices are decent/acceptable. The taco salads bowl is GIANT lol the bowl is 6 inches diameter 😅Would love to see the food taste being consistent.. would still visit again

Filix Rocha: Excellent place to eat, I ordered green chilaquiles and they were delicious, it's the first time I ate thereFor sure I will come back to eat, it is a good place, the person who served me was very friendly 😊

DPete: . If you want good, fast reasonably priced Mexican - Angelous is quite good.

Alisha Coelho: . I've had the burritos here too and they're pretty good as well, but the sauce is what I go for!!Recommended dishes Orange Sauce …

Monkeyboi Reviews: This was one of the highly rated places in downtown San Jose, and it's easy to see why. The food was delicious and came out pretty quickly, and the place has an aura of history looming about it with all the decor. The staff was polite as well. Has some outdoor seating too. This is now going to be a to-visit spot on every trip to san jose now!

Steve Hansen: Local, family run business, nestled in the corner of a neighborhood strip mall. Food is fresh and tasty.

Shareece Davis: Rita has cooked for this area for over 40 years! Rain or shine, through the hills and valleys of life, she has shared her gift of cooking as a ministry. I believe her food feeds my tummy and my soul! And to boot it doesn't break the bank!!!Muchas gracias a Dios para Rita y la comida en este restaurante. Y para su hijo y todos.Adios y buenos anos neuvos para el tiempo tenemos a Dios.

Chris Rodriguez: Didn’t know this restaurant was here. I tried the breakfast burrito chorizo con huevo. It tasted delicious, perfect size and only $7!!

Brian Salisbury: I read one review here with a person saying the food here was tasteless. They are probably used to the overly salty Burrito Factory stuff. The Chile Verde here at Playitas is amazing. I have lived in San Jose since the 70's and grandmas ChilI Verde here is the best. But i like everything on the menu. Not many traditional small mexican resteraunts left in San Jose anymore. There used be so many everywhere.

Douglas King: It’s a large, nice space. Really good salsa bar, flavorful food. Probably our family’s new favorite taco place, though they have various other offerings. Also: their orange sauce for the shrimp tacos is amazing - definitely one of the best orange sauces in San Jose. But you have to ask for it - it’s not one of the salsas in the salsa bar.

John Lawson: Excellent food. Great spicy salsa. My only knock was my torta was so wet, the bun fell apart. :(Food: 4/5 …

Rebecca Reed: Araujo’s did a phenomenal job of catering our church Christmas party of about 250 people. Our menu included steak, chicken, two kinds of beans for street tacos, and all the toppings also rice and quesadillas for the kids. Everything was delicious. Service was timely and professionalIt was a relief to have everything so well taken care of thank you Araujo’s! I definitely recommend this restaurant /business.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and I happily ate my fill of delicious beans, rice, tortillas, and lots of fresh veggies!Parking: Super convenient pick up spots forCatering and takeout orders.Kid-friendliness: Quesadillas were our children’s favorite! They were simple, but the cheese so tasted fresh. Perfection.

Mrs Escalante: Update * It was perfect , we attempted to keep the order simple 3 reg burritos this time but everything came out as great as the first time we visited. thank you again! we appreciate the seriousness of actions taken by you and other involved in correcting these issues. Will definitelybe updatingas the gm has reached out to our family to bring light to this situation*check to see whose cooking before you make the choice to eat here*Come here often, food is USUALLY great. Service is Always fire.NOT TODAY. i come for the chorizo burritos .Today they served me the scraped off burnt part of the bottom of the pan. Inedible, i literally can not chew what little is in there [pic above] its mostly egg a teaspoon of bean and 2 cups of rice.Husband has a dairy allergy, this has never been a problem here before. For some reason ORDERING my child and him a reg carne burrito turned into two half rolled mini tortillas of beans and carne 😋 and NOTHING else.We paid 50 dollars for this and they couldnt even hand us reciept for the over complicated order they could not handle. We come here all the time. This is sooo disheartening. We will be alerting our family and friends about our experience today. may BE a resolution for this issue

Luis Aguilar: I had a craving for an Aguachile, and I knew this was the right place to get one. Highly recommended for its great environment and great food. It didn't disappoint! The Aguachile with the green sauce was insanely great! Spicy and delicious. The shrimp was just right, but the sauce! OMG, it was so hot, and yet I couldn't stop. Definitely go here for some Mariscos if you want a great environment and great food.

Luis González: It is a good quiet place to have a good time and eat comfortably with the family.Parking: There are several businesses around there but the restaurant is good and they serve you well, good service, you listen to music and the mariachis come there to have a good time with the family, it's very good.Kid-friendliness: For children and family it is very good

Dan Kim: Ordered pick up and overall was pretty good.Their carnitas tacos were excellent, fresh and hot.The burrito however was a bit soggy due to the Pico de gallo but still was ok. Maybe remove it if your not ordering in person.

Sergei Bobyr: I don't come here often but I like their Baja burrito

Itsu Wang: Ordered seafood taco and Chicken Caesar Burrito. It tasted good. Also their staff were super friendly. Gave us four mango salsa. Will be back again!

Sherene Saenz: Food was good.Service was good.Nice waiter.Atmosphere was nice, cozy and small.Sombrero decor. It was very very HOT in the restaurant. Didn't want to stay but the waiter was nice so we endured the heat.Too hot to give more stars.Bathroom was clean.Chicken Enchiladas and chile verde were really tasty.Chips and salsa, yum.Classic Breakfast had good bacon but everything else was ok.

CarmelbytheseaAZ: Hands down the best Margarita and Bloody Mary - oh boy!!!! Food was stellar but what stole the show is that Margarita!!!!! Only ordered one and that was enough - so damn good and refreshing. From AZ so don't often order a Margarita in other states but was compelled because the waiter insisted that it was not sickly sweet but mighty potent with good flavor. He was right!!!!!🌺

j FullDeath (FullD3ath): Tried to visit tostada's this afternoon but it appears to have closed due to a death given the memorials around the building. I wish the family well.

HANNY: IT'S THE FIRST TIME I'M GOING BUT I WANTED SOME DELICIOUS CHILAQUILES AND HERE I FOUND THEM, DELICIOUS, THE STAFF VERY LOVING AND FRIENDLY, THE SUPER RETRO MEXICAN DECORATION EVERYTHING VERY GOOD, BUT THE TASTE IS BREAK IN GENRE, YOU HAVE WHAT TO TRY, I DIDN'T GIVE 5 STARS WHY I HAVE TO LIKE OTHER OPTIONS.Parking: IT IS SMALL BUT YOU CAN GET A PARKING SPACE, NOT IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT BUT I WENT AT NOON.

Michelle Tsang: I went here for a friends birthday dinner. Our server Robert was so friendly and such a good host. He really made us feel welcome and celebrated our friend well. The food was also great! One person in our party did not end up ordering food, but some clam chowder was brought out on the house. Thanks for the incredibly welcoming experience!

Tim S: Decent place. The food was good. I didn't like their salsa, but not because it was bad. I just like chunky salsa. Theirs was runny but tasted good. It was not very busy when we were there which was nice. I'd go back.Parking: Typical Santana Row parking challenges.Wheelchair accessibility: It's probably easy for a wheel chair to maneuver, but if it was super busy, you might have a lot of obstacles.

Hedieh YS: Spicy margaritas in a beautiful outdoor setting makes for a great time with friends.Weekends with loud fun music. Harder to find a spot. Chicken flautas were great. Guacamole, not so much flavor :-/Parking: Free parking for Santana row, but gets crowded over the weekends.

Angelina Ortiz: Food: 4/5Recommended dishes Chips
