Michelle Tsang: I went here for a friends birthday dinner. Our server Robert was so friendly and such a good host. He really made us feel welcome and celebrated our friend well. The food was also great! One person in our party did not end up ordering food, but some clam chowder was brought out on the house. Thanks for the incredibly welcoming experience!

jasen west: So on a whim, I decided to stop here for lunch today. When you walk into the place, there is a larger bar right near the front. So at first I thought this place might have been a bar or pub. The menu has a lot of options on it, That range from sandwiches, to pizza to Mexican and fusions between the styles.I went with the quesobirria grilled cheese sandwich. It was delicious. It was filled with a lot of meat and cheese. I onky wish I would have gotten some consume with the sandwich, like I would with the tacos. The meat was well seasoned and mekted like butter when you bit into it. The fries had some Cajon seasoning on them and were fresh and hot when I got them.They look like they have a robust selection of beers and wines.All in all I will come back to this place and try some other options, but the sandwich was really good and I will get it again as well

Brian Ip: I ordered two lengus tacos from here for lunch. The meat was good, very tender and moost. Tacos came with scallions, salsa, a clice of avacado and jalapenos. It also came with green and orange salsa. I preferred the orange one more. It tasted smokies and had more spice.Price per taco is $4.50 so on the higher end for street tacos.

We were looking for an authentic, hole in the wall, great food experience and voila! Wet Burrito was the answer. Knocked one star off for atmosphere because when the temperature rose we started to sweat out on their patio due to minimal air movement. Would eat here again, though, and highly recommend to others wanting to try something off the beaten path!
Loved the wet burritos here and especially the non-spicy tomatillo sauce. The portion size is huge! I saved half of mine for the next day. They have quite some options on the menu you can customize to how you want such as type of meat and which sauce you’d like. Didn’t know there are half/half sauce options but would be down to try some of the others. The chips were also made fresh when we got our order and were so addictive! Our food took about 15 minutes from order till it was brought out to us. You can do takeout options as well. The seating was outdoors and had very cute decor!

Dan Knutilla: Only in San Jose one night and this place did not disappoint. The Asada burrito and veggie burrito with mild salsa was amazing. Staff was super friendly. The outdoor seating area was really interesting with a tree growing through the floor. The wrapping on the burritos was also perfect according to my wife. Definitely stop in and try, you will be impressed.

jorge castillo: Finally, authentic Venezuelan food in the heart of San Jose. This place is the real deal. From being raised by Venezuelans the food checks all the boxes here. I’ve had the pabellón, tequenos, empanadas and Reina peipiada. All dishes were 10/10 I’d recommend this restaurant to all my friends and I’ll be coming once a well. Finally found a slice of home here.

Prasad K: The arepas here are excellent, and we love the cachapa as well. We've had arepas all over the country, and this place has one of the better ones. The only thing I wish they'd do differently, is allow customizing the Reina pepiada, because as I understand, it's currently pre-mixed, so no customizations are possible with that one. I've had the same arepa at other places and those have allowed to make a custom arepa with just the avocado and chicken, wish that was possible here. Apart from that, excellent service and food, we'll keep going back!

Andrew Lutz: . The cilantro/jalapeño salad dressing was very good, the italian was not great. The alambre was fantastic and all the fixings were good quality! Unfortunately the carnitas were awfully dry, I would not recommend them. Other than that, we had an overall great experience and will be returning. $50 for two people, but with very large portions alongside plentiful chips and salsa, we got our money's worth.

Bud Cashatt: One of the best Mexican food joints I have ever been to, the super burrito with brisket was amazing, so was the beef rib plate. As a convert to Islam I have had a lot of non halal food, and most halal versions of other cuisine isn't quite good and sadly I know what great tastes like. El Halal Amigos was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! I would highly recommend it to ANYONE, absolutely delicious!!Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu was halal and delicious.

Meats and chicken were juicy to the taste and well spiced.My only complaint was that the shrimp El diabla was not spicy enough and I needed to add spicy hot salsa for my liking.

Luis Aguilar: I had a craving for an Aguachile, and I knew this was the right place to get one. Highly recommended for its great environment and great food. It didn't disappoint! The Aguachile with the green sauce was insanely great! Spicy and delicious. The shrimp was just right, but the sauce! OMG, it was so hot, and yet I couldn't stop. Definitely go here for some Mariscos if you want a great environment and great food.
