James C: Nature is perfect. Big park. Well travelled. Lots of activity. Walkers, runners, bikes, picnic area. Lots of hills and trails and trees and a creek. Deer, rabbits, squirrels, bobcat, lizards. There is a farm that has goats and cows.Part of the trail was closed. Think it's because of the rain. Check the website before you go
Jagmohan Sidhu: This park boasts miles of winding trails that meander through lush woodlands, alongside babbling creeks, and under the shade of towering trees.Rancho is a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of outdoor recreation and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Underhillジン: Insanely beautiful. Beautiful wildflowers in the spring. The Sycamores leaves turn a bright yellow in the fall and the green grass starts to pop up again after the rains. Lots of beautiful multicolored mossy rocks. One of the only parks where you can see what the flatland is supposed to look like in our ecosystem. Very welcoming. Free parking, The only downside is they close too early to see a sunset or the stars.

Vladimir Gusiatnikov: Thank you Santa Clara Open Space for keeping this gem open to the public! Not sure where to direct this but Casa Loma Road, on the Open Space side, can use some bush trimming. I stayed in lane and have a narrow C-Max and it got a scratch. Thanks!

Richard G: Overall, great park for the South Bay. Wonderful views of the South Bay and lots of looping trails. Could easily kill a full day here.Plenty of parking here. This particular parking lot also has horse trailer parking.Trails are mostly exposed with tree cover here and there. Bring plenty of water regardless of the time of year.Climbs on certain trails can be really steep.Would not recommend this park for strollers or those with small kids.
Kirk Liebscher: Great spot. Good MTB trails. Go to Bald Peaks.

Chetan Pangam: One of favorite hike. Absolutely enjoy this hike whether group hike or solo hike. I believe it is very much doable for everyone. The elevation is around 900ft so not so tiring. You can see mountain bikers and people with pets on your way. It gets little bit muddy after rain. The good part is you start the hike from downtown Los Gatos. So when you finish the hike, you can have nice coffee or brunch.
Iwin Molins: I love nature. Best place to hike and easy to follow the routes.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Price for adult entry Free …

annmia shop: We hiked the trail and took a look highway 17. It’s so nice 👍
Kelly L: Lively hike with lots of dog walkers and a few mountain bikers. Plenty of room for everyone. The path meanders around a hillside and has enough incline to qualify as excercise. Lots of wildflowers. Across the bridge, it connects and continues on the creek trail.Wait time 30–60 min Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …

V. M.: Nice views, great place for strolling, very grounding
Bayron Lopez: I liked is beautiful
Levin Joseph: Great views and a fairly easy trail.
Sudarsan Pattabiraman: The hidden gem of feeling Fremont /Newark/ Union City area. It's quiet, less pollution, beautiful birds, decent walking trails. The mild smell of sulphur from the slough and salt stains along the banks of bay water are very pretty. Water levels increase or decrease based on tide levels on the given day. We should be lucky to have such beautiful nature around us and should be thankful for being in Serene California. Similar beautiful views are in coyote hills nearby.
Eddie Robinson (Modnet): Beautiful location with toilets, signing birds, and lovely walking trails.
Mee: Gorgeous views!
Prasanna N: Less crowded , easy and free parking and good views of the bay
Andy W: This is an AMAZING destination to hike, picnic, or just stare out into the waters. The variety on this trail is breathtaking, with a high climb and a pleasant walk downwards to the water beds
Val: Nice park along the bay with several paths for walking, running, or cycling.
Josh Odom: Been in the bay for 20 years and this was my first experience spending time here. We hope to return soon for a hike. Beautiful area.Dog-friendliness: You may have your dog on a leash. You also must pick up all your own poop. Bring your own bags.Picnic area: There are areas to eat your own lunch. Pack it in, pack it out.
