Morgan Roberts: I have been a teacher at WGMS for over a year now and love it! Even though I teach virtual lessons, I have still been able to feel a strong sense of collaboration, teamwork, friendliness, and positivity amongst my colleagues. Chris and Jessica alongside teachers Anya and Ginger have consistently gone above and beyond in their work here and I have enjoyed working with them. This is a great place to foster the joy of music-making in whatever instrument your child chooses.
kristi martik: Ms. Daisy is an amazing voice teacher at Willow Glen Music School. She makes the lessons fun and offers a lot of encouragement.
Erin Shinn Berg: Our 9 y/o daughter has been working over Zoom with Ms. Anja for almost a year, and we couldn’t be happier with the piano lessons. Ms. Anja is truly a one of a kind teacher and incredible musician. Always clear and kind with her instructions, she brings her love of piano and her warmth and enthusiasm to each lesson. Our daughter loves her piano time with Ms. Anja, and she has learned so much. We highly recommend Ms. Anja!
Holly Peterson: Jessica and her team are excellent teachers and make learning fun. With the music curriculum they use, my kids are practicing and enjoying music much more than I was at their age! Learning music as a child is the greatest gift.Christian is a talented teacher and pianist who keeps the lesson upbeat yet encourages my son's learning to get to the next level. I'm amazed at his skill teaching virtually - my son and Christian are always on the same page and expectations are clear. He's engaged, friendly, confident, and patient in his instruction. I actually think virtual lessons work as well as in-person - they are time efficient, comfortable and concise.
Grace Adiba: to his parents and sister during the week. Ms Lauren is able to balance the right amount of push so he will want to take risks. She is able to motivate my child to have fun, to encourage him to be curious and inquisitive about the next songs he is going to learn. Most importantly, she is not afraid to meet him where he is as a learner so he continues to grow as a student.
Gina Bianchi: My daughters have had 5 years of music lessons here, including piano, voice and guitar. We are so grateful for the accommodating staff and high quality of instruction. We highly recommend Willow Glen Music School!!
Minh Lam: Willow Glen Music School is a great music school for children. My 8 year-old daughter took piano lessons from Ms Cathy for over two years until we had to relocate to another state. Ms Cathy is a great teacher and a great pianist. Oh and the school is very well managed by Chris.
H M: Our daughter took lessons here for several years -- voice and piano lessons with Ms. Viri and guitar lessons with Jason -- and really enjoyed it. I was impressed with how quickly she made progress with just a little practice every day. She can be easily frustrated when learning something new, but Viri and Jason were consistently patient, encouraging, and gentle, and could always get her to keep moving forward when she felt challenged. She always looked forward to her lessons. The school overall is well-organized, flexible, and easy to work with.
Kavash Sharma: My daughter took their in person and online class all during the last 1 year of pandemic. I was impressed by their professionalism and clear communication of changes and schedules. They were also very accommodative of any reschedule requests. Her teacher was Carmel and she was very patient and interactive with my daughter and Chris, manager, was very courteous too. We hope to return with them in person again in future.
kinjal shah: My son started Willow Glen Music School back in 2016 when he was just 4 years old. Ms. Viri was and is still his teacher. Fantastic teacher! She has a great amount of patience with little kids. Very gentle but firm with her teaching technique and a little fun too. My interactions with her are always insightful.Chris is the manager of Willow Glen Music School and I can tell you that he is dedicated to take this school one step further. Smooth communication with great personal care for each and every student that he comes across. Always ready to help.I would highly recommend this school to my friends and family. I have done it in the past.
Leif Maertens (PolarVortex8207): I highly recommend Willow Glen Music School as a great place to learn and appreciate music. I've enjoyed the staff I've met and known for several years.WGMS was able to quickly adapt to the pandemic with online classes and left it open for parents to decide to attend online or in-person once the option was available. My daughter has learned so much in her time there starting as a beginner and now an intermediate pianist.Willow Glen Music School is a great place to start, whether an adult or for a child, you can't go wrong.
Vijay Krishnan: The staff and teachers at willow glen music school are very high quality and professional. I enrolled for guitar lessons and my 6 year old for piano lessons. Both our teachers are fantastic and we both have made great progress in just one year. Their pricing is also very reasonable and they have adopted very well to covid realities via zoom. Highly recommended.
Ashish Kokare: you are satisfied and understand every bit of it. All assured you're in safe hands. Good luck and I'll post my next review when I start my lessons.
Chris Swanson: Some of the best music teacher's I've ever worked with, real mastery here. Super humble, passionate, and positive leadership, setting new examples of how to adapt in such unexpected times. Can't thank WGMS enough 👍Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism, Value …
Erin Watts: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe are so happy to have found this gem! We started Zoom lessons during COVID and it has been such a great experience. Teachers are professional, great with kids, and make excellent use of each moment spent in class. My son loves Ms.Grace and looks forward to his lessons each week!

Dmitry Boldakov: Have been going here for 3 years for art and a month for guitar now. Amazing teachers and staff! Everyone is friendly and great with children and also adults.
Thien An: My daughter took piano lessons with a piano teacher name Violeta at this school. She was really good with children. I like her all the way from professionally, and personally. However, the front desk receptionist wasn't that professional nor nice.
Xin Zhang: My son loves his piano session with Matthew Ho very much! Matthew is patient and dedicated, and he always plays duet part with the kids, making thr session an enjoyable journey!

Ashot Mnjoyan: Strongly recommend for Drums and Guitar. Amazing band program too!!!
Violeta Marcoida: Very good teachers. Children enjoy piano lessons here. Highly recommended!!!!
Saranyan Rajagopalan: A comprehensive place where you can get quality music education for all ages. They have multiple instructors for piano, violin, flute, clarinet, drums, cello and saxophone. This place offers mostly Western classical music teaching although they do have some Indian style as well. I go there for violin lessons and have been impressed with the quality. They also have art classes and the whole place is decorated with art works of their students. It's a fairly huge place and had about 20 plus classrooms with comfortable ambience. It's located in the same lot as Costco and trader Joe's in Almaden valley on the corner of blossom Hill and Almaden expressway. This particular place is located in the same building as bed bath and beyond. You just need to get to the centre courtyard and it's located in the SE corner. They do offer trial lessons and sometimes discount them. So please make sure to ask. They go by monthly billing with no commitments.
abir b: Great school, convenient location and free trial lessons.
Daniel Y: Nice teachers, my daughter had a lot of fun attending the guitar classes there.

Jaiswin Sundararajan: My son has been attending piano classes at this school for the past few months. I have to say he's been really enjoying it and we can see that what he's learning sticks with him. Mr. Leffler was very kind to take time and explain their approach to teaching to us and it works very well. The teachers are great and you can see they really care about making sure learning music is an enjoyable experience for the students. Highly recommend!!
Ashwini: Mr Darrell, You have taught our son the magic of music 🎵 , And for that, we’ll forever be grateful. Your knowledge and guidance have been truly invaluable, and I know that He would not be where he is today without your support. I highly recommend this music school.Thank you.

Cindy Do: My son has been attending Darrell Leffler's Academy of Music for many years for guitar lessons. I credit the instructors he has been working with in their patience and teaching methods that have keep my son interested in guitar for so long. Last summer he started private piano lessons and he is also enjoying that very much. I feel the atmosphere in the school, combined with the instructors and students creates a wonderful music school.
Divya Raghunathan: My son has been learning Piano at this school for the past 7 years since his Kindergarten and he really enjoys learning here. The teachers are great. They teach the music with fun and my son's passion for music has gone up over the years. Now he has also started learning Guitar from the same school. I highly recommend this music school.
Jazmin Vazquez-Reyes: Good solid five stars they are great at teaching
Guilavogui Marie Bernadette: Very nice place to learn piano for kids; my kid's piano advance is impressive to me. Will not regret sending kids here.
Satvik M.: Learned piano for multiple years here. Very helpful to learn piano, great for students of all levels. Learned how to play and how to write music, and even how to compose a song. Super engaging teachers! Love the way the classes are structured
Monica Montoya: My daughter is a student in this Academy . The teachers are very professional and passionate about their work. Maestro Darrell always has time to check on every student. He is very kind with a special magic to motivate everybody .Many years of experience teaching children and develop their music skills. Every child is special here.
addie boogie-pun: My child has been going to Darrell Leffler’s since 2019 and has been with Mr. Paden since day 1. Mr. Paden is great with kids and very patient - his classes are always fun! The whole staff at the academy is great - they are very welcoming, professional and friendly. Mr. Darrell is also awesome! He knows all the students even if they are not in his class. The academy has adjusted so well during pandemic. They have been on top of the health guidelines and they started offering online classes too, which we love!
Suresh R.V: My daughter has been learning piano at Darrell Leffller’s music school for the last 4 years from age 7. She loves the class and learning piano has been a joyful journey. The teachers are excellent and professional. They make sure the kids understand are well practiced the songs. Only then they move forward to the next song or next level. This well disciplined teaching is excellent format for a joyful learning. We switched to online classes during Covid and we are continuing the online class option for the past 1.5 years. The teaching methods are the same focused on helping the students and making sure they get it right. The learning atmosphere has always been of the encouraging nature and our daughter always looks forward for her weekly class. She is in a group class and they always have been focusing on devoting time to all of the students in the group in the same way. We would highly recommend Darell’s music academy for anyone who is looking for a place to learn music. Mastero Darell, at his age and experience, personally follows up on the progress of the kids. He gives opportunities for the kids to showcase their talent with annual recitations and comes up with many more interesting ways that’s kids enjoy!.
Connie Ashley: Mr. Matthew and Mr. Darrell both are best piano teachers I could ask for. They make the class so fun and also very professional. My kid is looking forward to go the class every week.
Ruchika Anand: Mr. Jose, the guitar teacher of my son is just awesome. My son has been improving every day under his wings and learning music has been a fun and amazing experience for him.
Mincy Chelliyil: My child loves Mr. Darrell’s class so much that she looks forward to it every week. He motivates and makes learning piano fun.I am really grateful that they have an online option due to the pandemic. I am very happy with my child’s progress.
Katie Artajos: My daughter enjoys her piano class and looks forward to it every week. She misses the in person learning but I am glad that we can jump on zoom to continue her lessons. All of the teachers are great and knows how to keep the kids engaged. I’m sure it’s not easy especially being online. I love how transparent and honest Darrell is and continuously finds ways to improve his school. He is very understanding and will work with you to clear any issues. Thank you to all of the teachers especially Paden and Darrel for being awesome and professional!
Patty Bugarin: My daughter started taking piano lessons here almost 2 years ago. Since then she's enjoyed her classes with Mr. Matthew and Mr. Darrell. You can tell both of them have a passion for teaching children and for what they do. The staff has handled the ongoing pandemic with care and has thought about the safety of the students by offering hybrid classes and closing the studio if necessary. The staff is friendly and professional to both parents and students. The group classes have a low teacher to student ratio and are age appropriate. The learning atmosphere at the school is fun and not stressful for the students.

Brian Hueramo: Fast and friendly
Jinni: Piano Lessons going goodMy son was upset tht his first teacher suddenly quit. The second teacher is good too but kinda busy so absent and he deals with lot of substitute teachers thereforeGreat if this can be minimal”
Lan Nguyen: Flexible hours, fantastic teachers and staff, and I like that there are a lot of programs and incentives for young learners.
Dana Yates: , for approximately four years now. During this time period, two of our sons have received piano instruction from Craig and violin instruction from Miss Cristy. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience for our boys and both of them have learned an immense amount about not only their respective instruments, but also about the responsibility that comes with taking music lessons. They have also learned about key aspects of music appreciation and performance. Craig, Shirley and their wonderful staff are all VERY compassionate in their interactions with their students and families. In our case, we expressed that performance skills were less important to us as a family, as our one son has extreme anxiety issues and doesn't enjoy performance in front of large crowds. We simply wanted a gentle and compassionate violin teacher who could help nurture a love of the instrument within him, rather than have him dread practicing or playing the violin. We are amazed every time he picks up his violin to play. It is such an accomplishment for a child like him and it has enhanced his self-esteem. As for our piano playing son, he started working with Craig in his mid-teens. Even though his lessons had to stop due to preparation for college this past year, he still returns to play the piano on his own. Craig did such a wonderful job working with him and teaching him not only how to sight read, but also how to dissect a piece of music and put it all back together. We find our son going to the piano now, as a source of enjoyment and relaxation. In our mind, that is absolute success when it comes to the question as to whether or not it was worth the financial investment and time commitment to giving our sons music lessons. We have seen Santa Teresa Academy of Music and Dance grow from it's very beginnings and now it truly is a hub of creative arts!!! Dancers, and musicians of all ages gather in this studio to creatively express themselves and it is such a positive vibe that Shirley and Craig have created. THANK YOU for the love of music that you have instilled within our children and also for the wonderful standard of music instruction that you provide to the San Jose community!!!

Bri Fraser: Love this SOR. The director and staff are super encouraging and caring. They create an encouraging environment and give the students opportunities to learn all types of skills for performance and showmanship. They encourage all skill levels to perform at their best. My daughter has blossomed as a musician over the past 2 years to the point where last night she said "I've learned so much and I know all these chords, where now playing music is so fun. I didn't know it could be this fun!" She started playing RUSH songs last season and here skill level exploded!
Jill Smith: The School of Rock’s musical culture is genuinely encouraging!

The music teachers have been wonderful and the staff always very accommodating with schedule changes and advice on how to develop our son as a musician. The concerts they put on are so much fun and the whole family are in awe how fast our son has advanced as a performer and also in his confidence. A real gem of a place.

olga richter: Great music school, with passionate, dedicated teachers. The director is super energetic. Besides the recitals she organizes different holiday parties, music camps, bands. My son takes saxophone lessons there for two years and he absolutely loves it. My daughter takes piano lessons once a week for the same period and she did a very nice progress. The administration is very flexible, they managed to coordinate my kids lessons at the same day and time, which was very helpful for me. Very good experience
Sri Vidhya: My son has been learning for over 8 months. This studio, teachers, Gala have made my son explore and increase his love for music. He enjoys playing guitar a lot and the summer camps were engaging. Karen is very nice teacher and puts in a lot of effort to ensure things sound correct.

Gina Chen: They are offering some unique programs great for young kids. Very inspiring and fun! Gala is the most passionate music teacher we’ve ever meet! Highly recommend.
Yixiu M Bagley: My daughter loves learning music at this studio. Gala is such a wonderful teacher who is not only inspiring but also very caring.
Joanna: . I also learned how to play the piccolo and bass flute under her. The studio as whole, is great. I was given access to opportunities to attend Master classes under famous musicians and attend various musical events. No matter what you level is, I definitely recommend learning flute here.
Lisa A: Gala of Orange Music Studio is an absolutely superb flute instructor. She utilizes the perfect combination of encouragement and firm guidance in order to get the best effort and technique instilled into her students. But she never forgets the fun! And the other instructors at the Studio work along the same principles! Wonderful place for the whole family to find their musical heart! They also host a lot of workshops and special events. It’s possible to rent the studio for your own event as well.
Bob S: Great music teachers.
Юлия Волкова: . Also in this studio there are a lot of art and music classes, chess and ballet classes. Very recommend for boys and girls who want to be create and smart.

Anusha: Good community with passion for music and culture. Having worked as a teacher here, I learned a lot by teaching kids and felt inspired by their bright attitudes and willingness to adapt and learn quickly. Grateful for the opportunity and friendly staff. Unfortunately moved out of the area but definitely recommend this school for young kids to get exposed to a variety of arts. I think their system of short trial lessons works great, so that kids and parents can ensure there is a solid working relationship between teachers and students. Best wishes to all in their musical journeys. God bless
Arun Chockalingam: Dedicated teachers and they provide good stage exposure with 2 concerts a year
Vijay Rangarajan: My 10 year old son has been taking Tabla lessons at Raaga school for 4 years and has had a fantastic experience. The teachers are extremely skilled and caring, they go with the pace of the student, give rich feedback and challenge them. My son was very new to music and he has now grown to love Tabla and Hindustani music. The school has also given numerous opportunities for my son to perform on stage, which has helped with his craft and confidence
Vincent Nguyen: Good place. Well organize
Divya Trehan: Raaga - a great place to learn and stay connected with out culture and our country. Thanks for giving us a platform in this country. My daughter learns from one of their best teachers - Ms Amrita. A wonderful teacher with a beautiful voice. She handles kids with so much patience. My daughter loves learning from her and she is picking up great so far.
Baradwaj Srinivasan: I've been a student of Guru Ananthalakshmiji for carnatic violin since August 2021. Although signing up to the classes initially I was skeptical of learning an instrument remotely via zoom. In under 7 months, I've completed my beginner lessons now at the Varnam stage. Guru Ananthalakshmiji is the most pleasant human being on the planet. Despite the classes being at late hours during her day, she has always been pleasant, patient and enthusiastic at every session. I've often complained to her that best things in life don't last long, such is my experience with her class too- it goes by quickly. I've enjoyed learning thus far and I'm determined to continue for a long time if the Guru is willing to take me on. Also thank you to the Raaga school team who have always been extremely responsive to all my asks, been prompt with uploading the class recordings etc.
Aaditya: My son hasbeen taking Carnatic Flute lessons here and really enjoys his classes. The front to desk is also very helpful and very responsive. We would highly recommend.
Rajani Mahadevan: . My teacher, Sri Abhay sir has been an incredible teacher with the right balance of teaching, education and patience. He takes the time and adapts his teaching style to the learning styles of his students. I feel fortunate to have him as my teacher and owe him my sincere gratitude to help me learn the violin at such a late stage in my life. Thank you Abhay sir!I would like to also acknowledge the Raaga music school for the way they run the school. They are incredibly helpful, very organized, responsive and run it all so well. They make it so easy for us as students to work with the school inclusive of operating in a remote environment . Thank you for providing such an amazing learning experience!
Rakshith Rajan: Positive:Professionalism,QualityA great place to learn classical Indian music.A very dedicated and professional team. They have very able and knowledgeable teachers who tech classical Indian instruments for all ages. I was also very impressed with how they transitioned from in person lessons to remote learning seamlessly during the pandemic.
Raghav Vemulapalli: Very nice school, you should try it out.Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism, Value …
suyog kakade: Dedicated teachers who know how to work with students of all ages. I learn Hindustani vocals and am very happy I found this school.
Ramya Narasimhan: As I watched my kids learn music, I too wanted to pursue my interest in Carnatic vocal for a long time now. The excellent teachers at Raaga school were able to rekindle the passion in me! I feel excited every week looking forward to the class. We all know that Music has healing powers and I can definitely state that Raaga School of Music has a wonderful set of musicians taking over the role of healers!

Shahrbanoo Majlesi: It’s such a great and fun music class for babies and toddlers. My first daughter started when she was 2 years and now she’s 5 and started private piano lessons. I also signed up my second one in baby class. It’s wonderful.
Liz Padilla: Our children have been attending My Little Conservatory for 4.5 years now. They absolutely love going to music class and now my oldest is taking guitar classes. The teachers, especially Ms Amelia, are absolutely wonderful and cannot say enough about this music program!
Megan Bradski: We love MLC! We haver been going here since my daughter was around 6 months old and she just turned 2. It is amazing to watch how much she learns at MLC and implements into her everyday life. The teachers are amazing and you can tell they genuinely love their jobs.
Caitlin Arnold: We’ve enjoyed group classes of all levels, as well as both group and private piano lessons. Great instructors. Nice facility.
Whitney M: We love My Little Conservatory! My daughter started here when she was a baby, then my son, and now my 4 year old daughter is back here for choir classes. We have a new baby and we can’t wait to get her in a class.Teachers are friendly and I always learn something new in class too!
Twinkle Huang: My Little Conservatory is by far one of my favorite toddler classes. I signed up my 2.5yo son earlier this year and we have loved it since day 1. They make your first day extra special with little touches like gifting your child a musical gift to take home and even taking a picture of you and your child with their cute guitar backdrop with a hard copy of that photo sent to you in the mail. Those little magical touches mean everything to me and I could tell we were off to a good start. We have had classes with both Miss Marina and Miss Amelia and have loved them both. The teachers are very clear about the theme and intentions for the class, and they work hard to make sure all kids are learning, growing, participating, and most importantly - having fun! Our son is super into music and this class has only helped foster that love even more. Beyond the songs and dancing and activities, this class has taught my son super important skills like waiting turns and sharing, which makes me feel like they have prepped him for preschool next year. The wait list took a while to get into but it makes sense given the small class sizes and covid protocols - definitely worth the wait and I couldn't recommend this class enough!
Brittni Daley: My kids love My Little Conservatory! We started with baby classes 8 years ago and have done all the age groups for both of my sons. They’ve been taking piano classes with Mr. Dario and love it!Mr. Dario is an incredible teacher. I’m about to have my 3rd baby and we will definitely be signing her up for the baby classes!
Clare Nawasra: tricks to help get more challenging kid’s behavior in line. Kids learn empathy, patience, sharing and a host of other social skills, as well as the musical stuff.
mariela zeledon: . They develop such sweet relationships with their students. My son can’t wait for his next class with Miss Amelia! And they make signing up for classes so easy, they’re super responsive and flexible. I can’t wait until they move into their new classrooms!
Lei W: I was looking for a general music class for my 4 year old to cultivate her interest in music, pick up some basic knowledge, and maybe find an instrument she loves. This place meets my needs perfectly. From the emails I could feel the intentional design. Mr. Jeremy is friendly and enthusiastic; the class is filled with activities that nurture the whole person. All staff are kind and helpful. Though my kid has some language barrier, she loves coming to the class. We are fortunate to have small and beautiful local business like this in the neighborhood.
K IH: attention and you can tell the true spirit of joy and music in every class.
Jessica Terrence: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy kids have been attending music lessons here for the past 3.5 years. The teachers are wonderful! My kids love that it is low pressure, and I love that they enjoy learning to play music.
Lesly Ta: Such a great class for my little one. My daughter has such a great time and a great learning experience for her. Miss Amelia is such a great teacher!
Heather Campagna: I've been taking my daughter to My Little Conservatory for about 2 years. We started classes when she was a little over a year old. All of the teachers are kind, enthusiastic, talented and knowledgeable. Miss Amelia, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful! Each class/level is age appropriate and tailored to the development of that specific age group. I have another baby on the way and can't wait to start her in classes as well.
Alex Tanquary: We started going to Kindermusik to give our then 12 month old exposure to different rhythms and sounds that helped with the development of her motor skills. Not only was it great for her socially, it was for me too; meeting likeminded parents and being in a nurturing environment besides family. MLC has turned into a mini-school with so many classes and extracurricular activities! My daughter is coming up to 2nd full year here and still looks forward her weekly classes.
