Somdutto Burman: This restaurant was recommended to me by one of my friend cum colleague. Though I stay pretty far away but I never leave an opportunity to do a takeouts whenever I am near. The food is very delicious and the price is extremely reasonable per Bay Area standards. I can’t comment on the restaurant ambience as I have always done takeouts but definitely can say thats it’s bang for one’s buck !
Adil Ali: I went to this restaurant 5-6 times when i was in the area. This is the one of the best desi restaurants i ever had the pleasure of visiting in usa. I have been to many states and this restaurant is dope. I never had any stomach issues. The taste closely resembles original and everything is lovely here. Free chai is absolute bomb. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if i am visiting

Chicken tikka leg - perfect tandoori spices and tender juicy chicken.2. Achari chicken - loved the gravy and the chicken was cooked so perfectly. It wasn't sour as I thought achari dish would be and thus was hesitating at first.3. Chicken samosas - again very well made and full of chicken stuffing. Perfectly fried in golden color.4. Garlic naan - thin and crispy just how I like it. I don't know if they make it thin in general or was it because I asked them if their naan is thin but you can always mention if you have a preference.The 2 chutneys they prepare cilantro and tamarind were on point too. They were flavorful and of the right consistency. Basically authentic in every aspect.Coming to the service, the staff was very courteous, very attentive, their service is super quick. Bahut pyaar se khilaya or uske liye bahut bahut shukriya and at the end they even insisted to try their chai. Thank you for the experience and hospitality.It's not a fancy restaurant but they are doing their job right and the place has a warmth for which I rated the atmosphere as 5 stars as well.

Bud Cashatt: One of the best Mexican food joints I have ever been to, the super burrito with brisket was amazing, so was the beef rib plate. As a convert to Islam I have had a lot of non halal food, and most halal versions of other cuisine isn't quite good and sadly I know what great tastes like. El Halal Amigos was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! I would highly recommend it to ANYONE, absolutely delicious!!Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu was halal and delicious.
Kholysoh Cashatt: SO FREAKING GOOD! We're always on the hunt for halal food when we travel and fortunately, we came across El Halal Amigos during our Google search. We enjoyed everything about this place: the young staff were attentive, kind and friendly; the ambience was family friendly; and best of all, the food was amazing. Some of the best Mexican food we've ever had. Trying to scheme a way to get back to San Jose just so we can eat at this restaurant again lol.Dietary restrictions: HALAL!!!

The order was ready at least five minutes early and the food was perfect, served two adults and a toddler twice. The people were very nice and the food was delicious

Marsha 909: Truly great. The food was so flavorful and special. It was food that you would be familiar with like a tamale or a fajita but made with authentic ingredients and according to oaxacan tradition and technique. The tamale was steamed in a banana leaf giving it a fragrant quality that you don't get from the corn husk. And the mole served with it was incredibly flavorful.

Luis Aguilar: I had a craving for an Aguachile, and I knew this was the right place to get one. Highly recommended for its great environment and great food. It didn't disappoint! The Aguachile with the green sauce was insanely great! Spicy and delicious. The shrimp was just right, but the sauce! OMG, it was so hot, and yet I couldn't stop. Definitely go here for some Mariscos if you want a great environment and great food.

Catherine Chappell: Came for the micheladas they were excellent and also enjoyed a chicken taco salad. Both were VERY delicious 😋Parking: Parking lot on the restaurant side is small. But you are able to park across the street at the Flamingo hotel where it is clearly labeled available for restaurant parking. Also the restaurant is located on a residential side street that you can also find parking on as well.Kid-friendliness: When I came to this location, there were many children seated with their families in wooden highchairs and also regular seating as well. Keep in mind that the restaurant only serves outside patio seating. Restaurant does provide plenty of patio space warmers. However, this could still he a deal breaker for some families due to the current whether.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of space for wheelchair seating.
Phil Kim: Food has a clean authentic flavor that uses quality ingredients. I really enjoyed the pazole, however the wet burrito needs a bit of work. A bit smaller in size. the red sauce was very smoky and delicious and complemented the other sauces. The torta was also really delicious. It was well balanced in flavor however i felt it was skimped on the meat portions. The bread tasted very fresh and delicate.

Andrew Lutz: . The cilantro/jalapeño salad dressing was very good, the italian was not great. The alambre was fantastic and all the fixings were good quality! Unfortunately the carnitas were awfully dry, I would not recommend them. Other than that, we had an overall great experience and will be returning. $50 for two people, but with very large portions alongside plentiful chips and salsa, we got our money's worth.
