The pace of the class was very good with multiple checkpoints for knowledge tests. Breaks came at the right time to ensure fatigue reduction.On track course was very helpful. Instructor made sure we were able to learn all the driving techniques and ensure we got sufficient practice. The Riding test was very smooth and instructor made sure we had enough opportunity to demonstrate our learnings. Make sure you arrive on time. Overall great experience. The bikes provided were meh but for a class i would say its ok. Gear was provided in form of helmet and gloves.

Steven: As a new rider with no riding experience, no manual driving experience, and only knowing how to ride a normal bycycle, the MSF course that GoldenStateMoto has is very easily explained, and had lots of opportunities to take a breather and reset to practice again.I took a 3-day weekend course at the Masonic in the afternoon. Our classroom instructor, Arden, was amazing and naturally talented at explaining the materials that it was easy to digest for the knowledge part of the course.For the next two days over the weekend, my instructors were Shayon and Ray. They do have a bad cop & good cop vibes during the range, but they have shared stories, and experiences that I find memorable. I would especially like to shout out to Shayon for helping me out with the issues that I had, and giving a lot of helpful feedback along the way.Overall, if you're looking to sign up for a MSF course in the south-bay, GoldenStateMoto is the one to go to!

Daniel Vazquez: Jorge is a phenomenal instructor! I didn't know what to expect as someone with no riding experience. Upon arrival, Jorge spent a few minutes explaining the goals for the day and he explained the structure of the class. Then, we went over the motorcycle controls and safety rules. After moving into the lessons, I really liked his skill-boosting incremental approach. Instead of throwing you a bunch motorcycling facts at once, he showed me a few essential steps first, followed by hands-on practice with the motorcycle off. Then, he spiced up the challenge by adding a few more more steps and practicing again but now with the motorcycle on. He kept encouraging me all the time, and motivating to give my best. By the middle of the class, I was riding the motorcycle with confidence without realizing it! I even felt like pushing a bit more. By the end of the class, I was already shifting gears, improving turning and stopping while downshifting. I never imagined I could accomplish that on just a few hours. Hats off to Jorge for the encouragement, patience, and excellence teaching. Best thing he is bilingual so I could get a personalized experience in Spanish. Thanks again Jorge.

Shinkai: Just finished my very first lesson with Jorge this morning and it was a great experience as previous reviewers have said. I wanted to get some first hand experience first on a motorcycle before signing up to an MSF course. Jorge did a great job explaining the functions of the vehicle and going thru dry run drills before actually turning on the motorcycle. He goes thru a step by step process to get you going while adding one more step each time he felt you got comfortable with the current drill. By the end of the session, I was able to to go thru a straight while shifting up to 3rd gear, downshift to second to do a U turn and weave thru cones while controlling my speed with just clutch control. It was an enjoyable learning experience and I'm now more determined to get my M1 license.

Mo Kweon: Before this, I already took MSF course and had a M1 license, and even had my first bike for 3 weeks.MSF course would teach you how to ride but it won't make you feel confident simply because you don't get to have enough practice sessions when 10+ people are taking together.In my experience, entering a plaza parking lot was scary; You would have to make a tight turn including u-turn and there are probably dips and bumps here and there. Slow maneuvers are the scariest when you first ride a motorcycle.After the lesson with Jorge, I became very comfortable with slow maneuvers. And, i was able to make U-turn or slow speed maneuvers with my bike immediately.I highly recommend especially if you don't feel confident making a tight u-turn.
