Wushu Central Martial Arts Academy: what do users think?

Auguy Mangone: David understands the importance of giving the best to all the children under his program. A+++

Alyssa Piparo: Wushu has been so great. The coaches are kind and have so much patience. They tailor to the children’s needs and make them feel so welcome. We love taking our 2.5 year old son to class!

Davis Family: The instructors are amazing and patient! Our son has been going for over a year and it’s dramatically helped him!

Nhi Truong: This place is amazing. Very nice and helpful coaches. My older son started here 5 years ago and my younger son started 3 years ago. They both love this place very much. The coaches really put all of their mind and their heart to work with the children. They not only teach the kids the Kungfu but also teach them about positive behaviors. Highly recommend!

Deepa Hotchandani: We've been going to Wushu Central for quite some time now. All the coaches and Sifu Chang are truly exceptional. They are not only highly skilled but also incredibly passionate about what they do. My son loves going to Wushu Central as all the coaches are patient, approachable, and always willing to answer questions, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. One of the things that stood out to me was the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the class. Everyone, from the instructors to fellow students, are friendly and supportive. It created a sense of community, and my son felt comfortable from day one, which is essential for anyone trying something new.The instructors take time to understand the goals and abilities of each student, providing personalized guidance and feedback. This individualized attention helped my son to progress at his own pace and gives him the confidence to continue improving. Beyond the self-defense aspect, the class offers excellent physical and mental benefits. The training helps to improve fitness level and increases flexibility. Learning self-defense techniques is not just about gaining knowledge; it's about developing practical skills that can make you feel more secure in your daily life. This class gives the tools and confidence to protect yourself if the need ever arises.I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their physical fitness, learn self-defense, and be a part of a supportive and welcoming community. The knowledgeable and passionate instructors, comprehensive training, and friendly atmosphere makes Wushu Central an exceptional choice for anyone interested in martial arts.

Thai Tran: My kids have been going to wushi central for over 2 years and they love it. The coaches are very supportive and great with kids. Since joining, my kids have become better focus and disciplined while learning real life skills.

Kathy Ly Wagenhoffer: Wushu Central is like a second home for our family. Our two children are current students and both are always looking forward to going to class. The coaches are consistent with their teachings and provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment that fits all kinds of children’s needs and levels of learning. Our family is committed to Wushu Central for the long run. Sign your child up today - you will not regret it!

Bhawana Mishra: My daughter started here when she was 2.5 years old. We chose Wushu Central above all other places because they now only know wushu - they know kids. They include knowledge of child development into their curriculum, building life skills as well as martial arts skills. My daughter completed her third-degree black belt, and that's given her the confidence to persist in doing difficult things and to know her own strength. My son started classes in Fall 2021, while the pandemic was still going strong. Wushu Central not only pivoted to make their in-person classes very safe, but added an entire online program at a time when other studios would not pivot and wound up going out of business. I say this to show that Wushu Central takes their work and mission seriously. My husband also did TaiChi here for a while, so it's a whole family affair. :

Cristian Neri: improvements.Since kindergarten he received Adaptive PE. When he started Wushu, you could see the change within a year. This past August, his school coach said that all his tests had improved from 75% to 100% and in fact the tests before attending Wushu were 5% on the right side and 15% on the left side

Aruna Sharma: Truly professional even in their online format. Would recommend them for long term learning great forms and techniques of Wushu.Positive Communication, Professionalism, Value …

Amrit Kaur: Virat loves going to his private lessons and his group classes .

Chandrasekar Ganapathy Subramanian: and all of them had a great time

Lisa Kiehl: The instructors are very engaging and supportive. They have been great working with my hard-to-engage child. My other highly-motivated child is also constantly challenged and offered opportunities.

Primetime Martial Arts: what do users think?

Mason Morris: The community that is created at this school is something truly extraordinary. There is an infectious energy that fills this space and it affects students as well as parents. It is not uncommon to see students from other classes staying to cheer for their friends and helping each other succeed. The staff is engaging and diverse; each one brings something unique to the classes. It so wonderful to see the look of excitement on a student’s face when their “favorite” instructor gets to teach their class that day. There is so much is at your disposal at Primetime: the martial arts program, the jiu jitsu program, fitness classes, and community events. Everything here is geared towards lifting up the students as well as their families and your best experience will come from fully immersing yourself in everything Primetime Martial Arts has to offer.

Cristen Martz: class to his 2nd degree blackbelt. I’ve recently started taking martial arts classes as well, and have done their fitness classes in the past. I can’t recommend them enough. The coaches are amazing and help foster a fun learning atmosphere. If you’re looking for a studio where the students stand in perfectly silent & strictly regimented lines in every class, this isn’t the location to choose. If you’re looking for someplace that understands that kids should be allowed to be kids, where they’re taught that exercise is fun, this is your place. Watching the little kids smile and laugh while they run through a ninja course while working on blocks, kicks and punches is awesome. The same goes for adults. It can be intimidating getting on the mat even if you’re in good shape. There’s no judgement, only support and encouragement.Primetime teaches respect, responsibility, discipline and perseverance in a way that develops naturally through classes. When they say “Primetime Family”, they mean it. When you come here, you’re welcomed into a diverse community with open arms. Not only has my son made close friends throughout the years, but so have I and the other members of our family. The owner, Coach Apple, is a powerhouse. Not only has she become a friend to me throughout the years we’ve been here, but more importantly, she’s a friend and mentor to our son. Offering him guidance and support not only in martial arts, but in life. I cannot undersell what a huge influence she’s had on who he’s become, in the best possible way.

Diana Castaneda: The instructors are not only skilled martial artists themselves but also incredibly approachable and patient. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned martial artist, the staff ensures that everyone feels included and supported in their individual journey. In addition to the excellent classes, the studio often hosts events and social gatherings , enhancing the sense of camaraderie among members. It's evident that Primetime Martial Arts is not just a place to practice martial arts; it's a community that embraces and uplifts everyone who walks through its doors.

Elias Dayeh: Coach Apple at her staff. Have created wonderful program to teach self defense, self discipline and confidence. My sons have been training here for years now and I'm so proud of their growth. We love it here. If you're looking for self-defense training and fitness training. For all ages. Don't look anywhere else. Come join the family.

Melissa Espejo Sabangan: I love the family atmosphere here! My kiddos have fun each time they attend class!

Tina Koret: Primetime is the best! My son has been coming here for years and it’s been a wonderful experience. The coaches are incredible and focus on all the technical aspects in addition to the values and respect. Their schedule allows us flexibility during the week and has helped with consistency. Also, they offer group fitness classes in a small group setting. I love the ability to train with others but in a smaller setting where I get personalized attention.

Leray Randolph: We love Primetime! In less than six months I saw my kids develop not only in martial arts, but also in their overall independence, focus, and maturity. The coaches are all so wonderful with the kids. We highly recommend Primetime!

Teo Mendoza: My daughter loves Primetime Martial Arts, the coaches are so kind and nice to everyone but they also help kids to grow and develop many skills.

Firrend Naaman: We started classes with our young daughter here mainly because it seemed like something cool and it was very close to us. After a few months of classes I'd probably drive 30 miles to get her to classes here. Her growth in her confidence is night and day. The facility is beautiful, clean and everyone is so friendly, polite and helpful. They have events at local parks and parents nights out. It truly feels like a community and family vs just a regular place to take your kids for half an hour.

West Valley Martial Arts: what do users think?

Linh Taylor: The last time i practiced martial arts was more than 20 years ago. Today was my first class starting in white belt with another student. We warmed up with the entire class. The warm up was a good workout in itself. If you love HITT exercise you will find this part challenging and fun. In addition to instructor Dan we have several other instructors to assist and teach new students like myself. We observed a few short demos and our instructor Paula helped us practice a modified version. I feel included and learned quite a few useful skills.- Skills I learned today: how to break out of different grips, punch, hook, kicks, upper and lower block.- People: friendly, respectful, very helpful- Space: very clean, bright, and not smelly even after the end of a sweaty practice- Cost: it's about the cost of monthly unlimited yoga studio membership.- Instructors: friendly, no attitude even though I'm a beginner. Both I and the other student felt encouraged and zero pressure to do or master any move. Our instructor focused on safety and made it fun.- Is it worth it?: First of all, it's fun. It's worth it if you're looking for a full body workout with less repetitive movement which is much healthier for your joints. But most importantly, I feel a sense of community here, not pretentious, no expensive leggings, no advance poses to perform, just movement and being present. The first 2 classes are free. If you're reading this, then you should give it a try.

Melissa: have been taking martial arts classes here the last couple of months and they absolutely love it! All the instructors are very knowledgeable, patient and welcoming with both children and parents. I really like the fact they have a small area to sit and watch during practice. Prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

Boris Z: Best dojo!

Jaime B. Teague: My daughter and her best friend who are extreme introverts refused to join everything that was offered to them. Their confidence, energy and excitement level changed since joining WVMA. Very positive environment from the Sensei's and from the owner Dan. This is an amazing place for struggling teens, whether from weight, insecurities or lack of discipline and exercise.

yomi matsuoka: Our kids love it. Teachers are amazing!

Aaron Chen: I came to this school because I was a little stick who got bullied a ton at school. This all changed thanks to my instructor Haakon. He has taught me how to do various kicks and punches. I feel very confident and safe around him. He has allow me to excel in martial arts and I have to say that this school and Haakon are very great. Highly recommend.

Natasha Orozco: Positive:QualityThis place is a God send! The teachers are exceptional and the owner is awesome! Quarantine has been hard on us and this is an activity that is really helping to motivate my son and make him feel connected. Exceptional. Thank you so much!!

Ira Lutska: The best Martial Art school! My daughter love it. The team is wonderful, super friendly and positive. Strongly recommend them.

Ihor Lutskyy: Great martial arts school! Sensei Dan and Lucas are really amazing!

Nuria Garcia Garcia: Best dojo in the Bay area. The program, the team, the environment. You will not find a better place to learn Martial Arts. My kids love it.

Sanaa Saleh: My boys

Vision Martial Arts: what do users think?

Cynthia H. (Debbijaine 820): My Grandson just started so I will have to do another review, but so far its been fun.

Navjot Sandhu: The teachers at this place are so good. Mr.Kevin is so helpful. He always replies to the emails quickly, answers all your questions at the desk. He makes sure the person is fully satisfied. All the teachers are very sincere and they make sure that the kids are perfect in what they are teaching.I would recommend this place to all the new parents who are looking for Martial Arts for their kids!

sruti patnaik: Love the concept and structure as its not just a martial arts class- they have extra leadership seminars that teach honesty, integrity, teamwork, public speaking.

Ankur Gupta: My kids have been going to Vision Martial Arts for the last two years and they have thoroughly enjoyed their experience so far. What I like about the program how life skills such as manners, courtesy, organization , time management etc. , are treated as foundation to the martial arts that the kids learn.Special mention to Master LeMat at the Vision Martial Arts center @ the Silver Creek center, who works extremely hard to keep it fun and energetic for the kids.

Sudhakar Gopalakrishnan: in their curriculum. I have seen that over the course of the program that kind of attentiveness to detail has brought forth a significant positive development in the kids. The instructors are awesome, curriculum is great and the Leadership Seminar by Master Waldschmidt is unique and lively.I definitely would recommend the school to anyone.

Shikha Gupta: This is a great Martial Arts studio .. They don't just teach karate, but also other qualities like confidence, discipline and respect. My kid has been here for almost a year and progressed very well. The instructors are amazing and the lessons are a great balance between serious learning and fun time. Highly recommend Vision Martial Arts for everyone .. Kids or adults.

Chidvi Doddi: jokes. He takes the time to help each and everyone of his students thus, instructors. The values the studio as if it was his home and values his students as if they were his child. Now, for the instructors, Mr. Krim is a great sparring coach and a great 2nd degree in general. He instructs very well and shows a funny and nice attitude. Most of the assistants for classes were because of him. Mr. Gray is a lovable guy and also gives it his all. Mr. Ramos and Ms. Gonzales instructing classes together are extremely great. Ramos has the humor and Gonzales has the teaching.Overall, I would recommend this amazing program. Children are our future and learning martial arts will support. The next time any one chokes you or pushes you, they'll know what to do.- Divitha and Chidvi

Uma Ayyer: My daughter started in this school last summer. She started as a beginner and has now graduated 3 levels. The teachers are amazing and Master Le Mat is a very patient and enthusiastic leader for the team there. My daughter loves going to martial arts classes and has also grown more responsible and mature. They teach much much more than martial arts - team building, discipline, values and reward good behavior.

Susan Busing: I highly recommend this martial arts school. The staff is knowledgeable, supportive, works extremely well with the students, and is very responsive to parents. Their all-inclusive price structure make study here reasonable and means you don't get nickel-and-dimed every time your student participates in an activity. Along with the leveled classes, there are leadership and fun activities which keep the enthusiasm level high among the kids.I appreciate the values-based program established by Master Kevin Waldschmidt that focuses on discipline, respect, and commitment. Participation in this program has helped my son both at school and home, and we try to incorporate the curriculum as much as possible into our home life. My son is half way to his black belt, and his desire to continue only increases the more he progresses. He is praised for his technique which increases his confidence. This in turn inspires him to work harder. It has been a joy watching the belt ceremonies and seeing all the kids perform, receive feedback, and improve. He is looking forward to entering high school with a black belt. Although that is still a ways away, he has been assisted by the Vision staff in setting intermediate goals, identifying adults who he can ask for support, and establishing a practice and lesson schedule to keep him on track. The long-term goal setting is an incredible experience for kids. The Silver Creek location is new, spacious, and clean. It is a joy to go watch a class. Master Andrew LeMat is in charge there, and he is an impressive teacher, practitioner, and site manger. My other children, while not students, have friends who happily study at Vision. It is a school that invests and participates in the community. If you are looking for a fun activity to increase yours or your child's confidence, focus, discipline, and fitness, then Vision Martial Arts is the place for you.

Karen Stevens: Vision Martial Arts puts a great deal of emphasis on what many schools look at as the "positive side effects" of being in martial arts... at Vision its the focus to develop kids who are confident, self-assured, strong and determined - and to do it through learning and mastering martial arts. Master LeMat is fantastic at teaching kids self-discipline through positive learning experiences. All of the senior instructors are great - my kids enjoy every one of them. But I do need to say a special thank you to Mr. Karim who has made both of my kids believe they can get to black belt through his encouragement and thoughtful teaching style.

World Class Tae Kwon Do: what do users think?

araiya18: This school is very supportive of kids and their families as we navigate the challenges of mastering the martial art. The staff are approachable and helpful. Special shout out to Mister Carter and all the senior student teachers whose passion for Tae Kwon Do is contagious. And their commitment to teaching it is consistently commendable too.

parul sharma: We love World Class Tae Kwon Do and my daughter really enjoys the classes. The classes are really well thought of and the level of attention they give to each student is commendable. I see some real improvement in my daughter in terms of focus and decipline.

Howie Yang: World Class Tae Kwon Do school is transformative, building students’ confidence and resilience. Instructors mentor students through dynamic sessions, fostering not just martial arts skills but also inner strength. My kids love training here and it does help them to become more confident in all area.

Teresa Yu: . We are grateful to the instructors and their efforts in creating such caring learning environment.

Michael Chu: , improved my cardio and flexibility

Stephannie Alvarado: I can tell, how nice and fun has been this years for me in taekwondo and appreciate the welcome with open hands. Every class for me is like my fun time learning new things, improving my skills and keep not just body also mind and spirit active. I will recommend this place not just for the fun time, the exercise and the nicest people but also for the improvement for oneself and discipline. P.s. thank you to all the instructors for your hard work, you guys are just the best amazing people!

Bharath Vijayaraghavan: Our kids love going to WCTKD! Truly motivated staff - loved by kids and parents alike !

Gloria Ebner: My kids are excited to attend classes at World Class Tae Kwon Do. They do a great job of teaching the kids all the fundamentals while having fun. We've only been there a short time but so far they're eager to learn and attend classes. The instructors are all very welcoming, patient, and supportive. As a parent, I'm impressed with their ability to learn each child's name so quickly and the level of energy they bring to all their classes.

Samiksha Singhal: This Taekwondo class is simply outstanding! The facility is clean and well-managed, creating a safe and inviting environment for children. The instructors are excellent, providing exceptional guidance and motivation to the little ones. They go the extra mile to ensure each child receives the attention they need. The class also offers fun-filled events that keep the kids engaged and excited. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch Taekwondo experience for their little ones!

Camie VanKeuren: We love World Class Tae Kwon Do, our son enjoys the classes and has already learned so many of the basic principals. We really appreciated that before we even started a class an instructor sat down with us to discuss our child and our specific goals for program.

Africa Espina: Our son liked taekwondo for over a year, with a couple bumps, but eventually lost interest in going to class. They do a great job at motivating kids within class and promoting community events . He had fun when engaged and was often excited after leaving, but the self-drive to get there was a struggle and we are not sure why. It was nice that they offered an extra motivational class but by then the boat had already sailed for him. They charge for almost everything- gear, events, etc and raised rates, in addition to large classes so it was hard to see the value as parents . Despite our decision, we really appreciated the devoted teachers at this facility and our son learned skills he wouldn't have encountered otherwise. We will keep World Class Taekwondo in mind for the future if the interest does return.

Aravind Sathyanarayana: My son loves his Tae Kwon Do classes ! All the teachers are excellent!

Zi Wang: World Class Taekwondo is a great place full of energy, respect and encouragement. My kid gets good physical exercise, improved coordination and better focus while having fun.Teachers here are enthusiastic. Staff members are helpful. Highly recommend!

jeffrey sukharev: My five-year old loves it!
