Fluffy ajwain puris, amras 😋😋, shrikhand was just out of the world! 😋😋😋Sabjis- cabbage, undhiyu, chole, paneer were made very nicley specially paneer was very tasty not like same tasting curry that we get in USA.Gujarati daal, kadhi and khichadi — superb too.. khichadi had extra ghee tadka from top with mustard seeds and curry leaves… yummy 🤤Rajwadi thali ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Arun R: I was aching for some good gulab jamun. Read reviews and tried Bikaner Sweets and Kabila Sweets. Both were disappointing. They were no match to what you get at Rajwadi Thali. Best gulab jamun around here. I wish they would make a Kala Jamun version also.

In 1985, Ushaben and Nayanaben started making Indian snacks at home the way many people used to, back in India more than 8500 miles away. Bharatbhai would sell these snacks to his peers and clients of Indian descent.
While Chandrakantbhai would sell it to people as he picked up odd jobs around Los Angeles. Within 2 years they decided to open a restaurant with the intent of providing traditional village style Indian food, something that was being missed by the hundreds of Indians migrating to America.
We also carry large variety of snacks (Namkeen), TO GO Roti Special $5 (15 Fresh whole wheat roti)

Sumo M: Having read all the raving reviews, my expectations from this place were very high. We got the Bonda soup and the pani puri. The panipuri tasted good, not exceptional, but alright. What was disappointing was the quantity of filling offered. It wasn’t enough for all the puris. Maybe if we had more filling to spare for each puri, the taste would have been elevated. We were trying bonda soup for the first time, so we don’t know what to compare it to. But we weren’t impressed. The Bonda ‘batter’ separated from the fried crust on putting it in the soup. So we were eating the ‘batter’ with soup and the crust with soup, separately. Not a great experience. This was the place I was most looking forward to on our trip to San Jose and sadly, I am disappointed by it.

Namratha: I recently tried the Holige and Jolada Rotti and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The Jolada Rotti had that authentic rustic taste that reminded me of home. What impressed me the most was the convenience of the takeout service. Ordering was a breeze, and my food was ready for pickup in no time. sowmya vinay: The food at this restaurant is exceptional, offering the tastiest vegetarian Indian cuisine in the Bay Area. Their holige is a must-try, and the yennegai brought back fond memories of my hometown. Additionally, their benne dose is exceptionally delicious. Every item was prepared fresh, with a perfect balance of spices that truly captured the essence of Gujarati cuisine. The unlimited refills allowed us to enjoy our favorite dishes to our heart's content.In addition to the thali, we sampled some items from their chaat menu, with Dahi Puri standing out for it’s delightful taste and presentation. Their Chole Bhature was also amazing. The overall ambiance was vibrant and family-friendly, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal with loved ones.While the restaurant was quite busy, especially during peak hours, the staff managed to maintain a good pace, and we didn't have to wait long for our refills. This visit left us highly satisfied, and we look forward to returning soon.For anyone craving authentic and hearty Gujarati cuisine, Rajwadi Thali is a must-visit!
Joanne Ko Zhou: .They didn't serve AamRas that day, so we were a bit bummed we didn't get to try that. For $23 though, we were happy with the quality and quantity of our thali. Our only complaint was that the place smelled of cigarette/cigar smoke. Not sure if the workers are chain smokers, or if it's the smell from the cigar lounge next door wafting in. The manager spritzed the restaurant down with a heady perfume halfway through our meal to mask the smell; not sure which was the greater evil at that point.We enjoyed our meal and hope to splurge on their unlimited thali again one day!

Chicken tikka leg - perfect tandoori spices and tender juicy chicken.2. Achari chicken - loved the gravy and the chicken was cooked so perfectly. It wasn't sour as I thought achari dish would be and thus was hesitating at first.3. Chicken samosas - again very well made and full of chicken stuffing. Perfectly fried in golden color.4. Garlic naan - thin and crispy just how I like it. I don't know if they make it thin in general or was it because I asked them if their naan is thin but you can always mention if you have a preference.The 2 chutneys they prepare cilantro and tamarind were on point too. They were flavorful and of the right consistency. Basically authentic in every aspect.Coming to the service, the staff was very courteous, very attentive, their service is super quick. Bahut pyaar se khilaya or uske liye bahut bahut shukriya and at the end they even insisted to try their chai. Thank you for the experience and hospitality.It's not a fancy restaurant but they are doing their job right and the place has a warmth for which I rated the atmosphere as 5 stars as well.
