Maliha Shaheed: Too good that, I went to San Francisco for 4 nights, I was craving for Bangladeshi food. So I did uber an hour away to eat some “Shutki bhuna, Daal, Beef Kosha, Chicken Roast”.The food was so good that we set aside our other plans to go eat there on the 4th night of our stayover. They food feels like homemade quality.Note: I also had their “Kalojam” sweet too. It was heavenly. Also, the overall customer service was beyond above because the first day went, we went to closing hour, they took our order over phone. However, they were extremely friendly and welcomed us with a happy face.I will always come to this place. This place is way above comparing to any Bangladeshi restaurants in NYC or LA.Must Visit!!
Mahir D Rafi: Authentic Bangladeshi food. Absolutely loved it!Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Roshogolla, Mutton Kosha …
mariyam ahmed: Only tried misthi doi and rasagulla.Rasagulla was more like homemade and tasted good
Bomai Malabar: The waiters were very courteous and helpful and food was delivered very quickly to the table! The place was clean, well-lit and homely. A great place I would say to enjoy Bengali cuisine with your family within a reasonable price range. The food quantity was just right. Would definitely go back and would ask anyone to give it a try if they like to enjoy Bengali/Bangladeshi food. Only gripe I have is that the menu is short which is good and bad. Wish they had some more of the vorta/vaji, but to keep quality I guess you have to limit the menu, I have been to places where the menu is a mile long and none of the items any good! But this place’s menu is short and sweet and executed flawlessly! 5 Stars!
Arden Wells: Incredible restaurant! I spent time a couple months in Bangladesh a few years ago, and I was so excited to go to Bongos when I was in Fremont. The food is SO good. The flavors made me feel like I was back in Bangladesh. We had the hilsa fish, veggies, and mutton biryani. The biryani had a lot of meat in it and very good cuts. This, and knowing that the food was hygienic, made the food taste like it was from a high-end restaurant in Cox's Bazar like Poushee or Al-Goni. I live in Berkeley, but I want to make excuses to go to Fremont so I can go back to Bongos. On weekends they have specials!
Rick Lahkar: This might well be the San Francisco Bay Area’s best kept secret. This maybe the only authentic Bengali restaurant in the area. The food is delicious and very moderately priced. It’s a hole in wall kinda place but who cares. I just came for the food and I left as a very full happy camper. Must try for the Assamese and Bengali food lover. This is not your typical Indian restaurant. Truth be told, it’s Bangladeshi owned and operated. A very different food experience. Not for the faint at heart. The best fish dish’s fish has a lot of bones. The best meat dish is hot and spicy. But I am not complaining.

Somdutto Burman: This restaurant was recommended to me by one of my friend cum colleague. Though I stay pretty far away but I never leave an opportunity to do a takeouts whenever I am near. The food is very delicious and the price is extremely reasonable per Bay Area standards. I can’t comment on the restaurant ambience as I have always done takeouts but definitely can say thats it’s bang for one’s buck !
Adil Ali: I went to this restaurant 5-6 times when i was in the area. This is the one of the best desi restaurants i ever had the pleasure of visiting in usa. I have been to many states and this restaurant is dope. I never had any stomach issues. The taste closely resembles original and everything is lovely here. Free chai is absolute bomb. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if i am visiting

My Phone: Nice atmosphere. Easy to park. Nice food variety. Everyone in my family enjoyed it
Alejandro Breton: Best Indian restaurant in San Jose! Very good quality and not expensive
Urvashi Chaudhuri: I am so glad I tried this restaurant tonight. Very authentic indian pakistani flavors. Loved every dish I ordered.1. Chicken tikka leg - perfect tandoori spices and tender juicy chicken.2. Achari chicken - loved the gravy and the chicken was cooked so perfectly. It wasn't sour as I thought achari dish would be and thus was hesitating at first.3. Chicken samosas - again very well made and full of chicken stuffing. Perfectly fried in golden color.4. Garlic naan - thin and crispy just how I like it. I don't know if they make it thin in general or was it because I asked them if their naan is thin but you can always mention if you have a preference. The 2 chutneys they prepare cilantro and tamarind were on point too. They were flavorful and of the right consistency. Basically authentic in every aspect.Coming to the service, the staff was very courteous, very attentive, their service is super quick. Bahut pyaar se khilaya or uske liye bahut bahut shukriya and at the end they even insisted to try their chai. Thank you for the experience and hospitality. It's not a fancy restaurant but they are doing their job right and the place has a warmth for which I rated the atmosphere as 5 stars as well.

Julie Wiltshire: we fantastic. But the star of the show was the garlic naan- sooooo delicious. I cannot wait to return!:
Shakti Ghewari: The owner hospitality is very good. We were late, still the owner took the order for dine in and did not interrupt untill we were done. It was beyond the closing timing. Food is also Amazing. Inexpensive when compared to other restaurants. Quality and Quantity are more than beyond. One of the underrated restaurant with quality food. Will visit more often here. Must try. 5 Stars.
