    Neo Syn: Its a gas station. If you have gas and a clean restroom 5 stars all day.

    Emily Shackleton: After filling up my partner was putting air in the tires, but there was a car in the way of the air tank. One attendant noticed and politely asked the driver to move so we could get closer to the tank. Additionally. I purchased a drink but hadn’t noticed that it wasn’t very cold. While I was paying the other attendant grabbed a colder soda for me. The attendants were extremely friendly. Will definitely return!

    Arcairs: Up to date fast machines with apple pay and contactless pay. Competitive market price for a chevron in SJ/tino area. Close to 85 and way cheaper than the valero across the street. Great place to fill up as a local.

    Sumo M: Having read all the raving reviews, my expectations from this place were very high. We got the Bonda soup and the pani puri. The panipuri tasted good, not exceptional, but alright. What was disappointing was the quantity of filling offered. It wasn’t enough for all the puris. Maybe if we had more filling to spare for each puri, the taste would have been elevated. We were trying bonda soup for the first time, so we don’t know what to compare it to. But we weren’t impressed. The Bonda ‘batter’ separated from the fried crust on putting it in the soup. So we were eating the ‘batter’ with soup and the crust with soup, separately. Not a great experience. This was the place I was most looking forward to on our trip to San Jose and sadly, I am disappointed by it.

    Namratha: I recently tried the Holige and Jolada Rotti and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The Jolada Rotti had that authentic rustic taste that reminded me of home. What impressed me the most was the convenience of the takeout service. Ordering was a breeze, and my food was ready for pickup in no time.     Joseph War: During my time living in San Jose, this restaurant is for sure a diamond in the rough. Before COVID, many locals would frequent this restaurant, and it would be packed during dinner time. After COVID, there are still many locals ordering food to go rather than dining in. My wife and I drive from Modesto just to eat here. The food is just that great, I kid you not. Every item on the menu is cooked to perfection. From the veggie korma to the samosas to the aloo gobi to the tikka masala, and the list goes on and on. The quality in taste is outstanding, and the chef has a great combination of ingredients that represent his region of India quite well. The customer service is pleasant and consistent, and the prices match the food quality and quantity. Even after a big meal is finished, there is a park across the street if you want to go for a brisk walk to let the food settle. If anyone is ever in the area of Empire and 13th and wants to enjoy a satisfying and fulfilling taste of Indian food, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Cheers! đŸ»

We have tried 5 paani Golagappe which have five different flavors of paani - Guava, Jaljeera, mint, regular, raw mango which were really good. Also tasted Dahi balla papad chaat which was tasty too and they gave sweet curd, tamarind and mint chutneys separately packed which was really neat and clean. The veg puff and chicken puff were ok in taste have too thick puff pastry.

We ordered Samosa Chaat, Shai Panner, Bhindi Masala and Garlic Naan. The food was extremely flavorful without being spicy. And special thanks to Anandhu for making it a great experience for us!!
