California K9 Solutions® (Cali K9®) Dog Training: what do users think?

S R Hair Lounge: Our experience at CaliK9 is exactly what our puppy needed , Juan has been working with us to achieve the right training so we can take him anywhere without worrying if he's going to bolt into the street or jump on a child or elderly person . Notice the "squirrel" in the picture, most dogs can't help themselves and chase them.Tank You JuanTank

Ivy Williams: . Then it was my turn, I did have some of the commands wrong, for example box, I called place, I had come and break down. Everytime I would walk her around she would try to lunge toward other dog, so now we tried out .... will write more, work calls. Let's just say better.

Caesar Gomez: Great training, great support wehighly recommend his system. His staff really seems to care for our pets, I really love how they post weekly updates it really helps, specially when there gone for 6 week training 😉

Carl Brazell: 4 yr old 100lbs pit. HAD to get control of this dog. It has happened. The zoom classes are perfect for busy schedules. Look forward to continuing the training.

Gaia Richards: Real pros. Real people. Great techniques and products. I'm a fan.

Flutterby: Worth the money we paid and very happy with the training we received

amanda vansickle: This guy is awesome!

Enmanuel Gil: I watch their videos everyday and helps with my training. I'm currently going to school for dog training and when I'm done I will be ordering their training as well. I love how real they are and how they take their time to show techniques!! Definitely recommend them if you want to train your dog.

Happy Tails to You Dog Training: what do users think?

Thomas James: I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding dog training services provided by Dawna. Having worked with several trainers in the past, I can confidently say that Dawna's expertise and experience are second to none.Dawna possesses a remarkable ability to understand and connect with dogs, making the training process not only effective but also enjoyable. Her knowledge of canine behavior is extensive, and her techniques are both innovative and practical. From basic commands to more complex behavioral challenges, Dawna's approach is consistently effective, yielding impressive results. What truly sets Dawna apart is her genuine passion for dogs and their well-being. It's evident that she not only sees each dog as an individual but also tailors her training methods to suit their unique personalities and needs. This personalized approach creates a positive and nurturing environment, fostering a strong bond between dogs and their owners.I wholeheartedly recommend Dawna's services to anyone in search of exceptional dog training. Whether you're a first-time dog owner or have been through training programs before, Dawna's expertise will undoubtedly exceed your expectations. Thank you, Dawna, for not only teaching valuable skills but also for fostering a deeper understanding and connection with our furry companions. Your dedication to your craft truly shines through!

Fern R: Bring my fog here for training & very helpful & knowledgeable staff.

Bryan Garcia: Hood

Zoya Salistra: Knowledgeable and caring Dawna will help you with any issues you might have with your dog.

lilian le: My 12yr old son and I brought in our 11month German shepherd/Husky, Marathon for training just before the covid19 problem.. First realize the training is actually for us the owners. Dawna teaches the class with enthusiasm and entertaining energy. She will give you the knowledge and first hand experience to train your dog. Bottom line...if you practice what she teaches you will have well trained dog. 😊David,Campbell

Dan Pritchett: We brought our problem child Great Dane here to help us with some difficult issues. After only two visits, his behavior is drastically improved. Be aware that the training is for you, not the dog. Despite having owned dogs all my life, there were a few small but important things I was doing wrong. Highly recommend.

Kelsey Dowler: We completed the first level adult dog class and learned so much from Dawna. She was very knowledgable and easy to learn from! Would highly recommend her!

Mark Taiariol: Dawna Caldwell is on my 'top shelf' of trainers! Her approach is to teach me to train my pup Lexi. Just finished the basic class and I can't thank her enough! Looking forward to the next chapter in Lexi's journey to being a real dog, with manners and a new skill set! Bless you Dawna!Mark T.

Jenn Treiber: but also the dogs! I love the way she explains "the why" behind how to train for a certain behavior, but she also gives great examples. She shows the class how to teach the dog the desired behavior, then gives us time to practice that training technique while in class so that she and her team can provide feedback on what we are doing right, or how to make modifications specific for our dog. I especially love that Dawna and her staff have Kongs already stuffed and Bully Sticks ready to give out for those dogs who have a hard time keeping quiet in the excitement of being in a classroom setting! Such a great touch! I just finished the puppy class and will definitely be continuing with more classes. Highly recommended!!!

Olivia Guel: We love Dawna and her training classes. These classes are affordable compared to others, and super informative. I was really nervous to take my almost 1 year old, 100 lb pitbull anywhere, due to his size, strength and stubborn personality, but it only took 1 and a half classes to settle him. We take King to Canine Corral for boarding, so thought this would be a comfortable. We were right. He knows and loves the staff, and so do we! It's well worth the time and investment, and I highly recommend it. I only wish we took him sooner!

Andrew Smith: Top quality dog training. Our dog has done very well with the straight forward and we'll structured guidance we have gotten. We are sent home with printouts of our homework and get a chance to ask questions and review tasks in class.

Kendall Barnes: I recently finished up the Premiere Adult training class with Dawna. Even though it was a group class Dawna made a point to give each dog personal attention, which really impressed me. My dog was so nervous and shy during the first class and by the last her confidence had noticeably grown.

Kelsey Germaine: Dawna and her staff are amazing! we have a very skittish and nervous puppy who has totally turned over a new leaf with strangers and other dogs. They are so great our puppy goes to doggy daycare 3 days a week to help with socialization and it has been amazing. Highly recommend for both!

Kris N: Dawna and staff have worked and helped us with so many of our rescues. I am a rescue representative with Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue, and as a rescue, we get dogs from shelters, as strays, or owner surrenders. The dogs can have a variety of issues from fear-aggression, being undersocialized, anxiety, having a lack of confidence...Happy Tails has helped us tremendously by working with our more challenging dogs, providing the necessary training to get them into adoptive homes. They will not give up on a dog and will tirelessly put forth every effort to help them. They do not rush through training and want to make sure the dog is ready, as well as its person. Once the dog is ready for adoption, Happy Tails has been very committed to shepherding the new adopters providing them with the necessary tools to keep the dog on a continued path to success. Happy Tails is not only a dog trainer but a people trainer, too!

Maria Blackburn: My puppy Pua and I just completed the puppy kindergarten. Loved the experience. It was a great way to get our puppy more socialized and also to build a great foundation for future training. We will be back for the graduate class!

kristine achkar: Having so much fun in our Puppy Kindergarten Class. Dawna is great with our labradoodle puppy Rocca and very patient with us, as we lean new skills!

Pauline Samson: We have three dogs and have taken all 3 through the classes given here. Dawna is a great trainer and is invested in helping you develop a solid relationship with your dog. I have also done a few private training sessions to help with our second dog's fear issues and the tools and training Dawna gave us have helped immensely.

Bay Area Dog Training: what do users think?

Jon H: I highly recommend Mike for the help he gave us with the training of our miniature Australian Labradoodle. Our puppy was so frightened during our walks we could barely make it around the block. After our training was completed, we can now enjoy long peaceful walks with our beloved pup once again. Thanks Mike for sharing your special talent and helping us get back out there again!

Justin Capsuto: I cannot speak highly enough about Mike Hatjes and his instruction/advice with our kelpie/lab mix Milu. Milu is a rescue from Taiwan, and has a lot of anxiety. Prior to getting in touch with Bay Area Dog Training, she was growling at guests in our house, being somewhat difficult on leash, and actually nearly got hit by a car when something spooked her during a walk.Mike taught us how to correct all of these behaviors - including how to teach Milu to use her doggy door at home. He is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with, and an overall fun person to be around. But he also takes discipline/training very seriously; at the end of the day, YOU have to put in the work to train your furry child using the tools he gives you.Milu is now a much happier dog. Her walks are enjoyable for all of us. She now understands that guests in the house are welcome unless *we* say otherwise. Reach out to Mike and the team at Bay Area Dog Training - it worked wonders for our little family!

Nima jouzi: I’m absolutely amazed with the results, everybody told me that your puppy is too much and now they’re all surprised how he acts and follow the orders. Michael is very well aware of how dogs are and the way he trains them is morning but their own language rather than keep them hungry or keep give the tests to do things. Definitely worth the money for private sessions.

Abdalla Emam: and he made each training session memorable and fun for us. He was super patient with myself and my wife and answered all of our questions well AND showed us everything we needed to know about our new furry baby.We highly recommend Mike to other fellow dog owners who are looking to train their dogs!We couldn't be happier, and we are thankful for bringing peace and love to our family with this training!!!

Doug Brent: . But, what really puts a smile on my face is when someone notes how well behaved she is. She went from a rascally 8 week old puppy to a dog we can take anywhere, on or off leash, with confidence. Thanks Mike!

Beth Robbins: Mike trained my Golden Retriever puppy for 8 sessions. Teddy is now a very well behaved dog. He walks easy, does not jump on people, no barking and doesn’t run when the door opens. Accomplished all our goals and many more. Highly recommend.

carolyn Randall: I have had 5 dogs during the last many years and Mike has trained them all. He trains both the dog and the owner with techniques that are gentle yet effective. My dogs have learned to wait for permission to enter the house from outside and wait for permission to exit my car. This impresses all my friends and makes being around these pups a pleasure. I am so proud when they behave. I highly recommend Mike and his crew; they get 5 stars from me.

Elizabeth Brown: and they really know their stuff!!! They made the best of everything in the midst of Covid and having to do these classes outdoors, and I am so thrilled we went with this training group. I was worried my dog would have a harder time because we rescued him as a 1 year old rather than getting him as a puppy, but Mike and Emily were always paying attention and would help the owners if any particular dogs were having a harder time. The difference in our dog

Alison Huber: puppy, but because of it's size it was going to be a nightmare as an adult if I couldn't get it's manners under control. I was so happy that Mike started the beginning level classes back up since the covid issue. I used him for my other dog 13 years ago and she is deaf but still going strong. The hand signals we learned were so helpful in now dealing with our older deaf dog. The classes are super productive and Mike really treats the dogs as individuals not a "one size fits all" kind of situation. I would highly recommend taking his class. We are actually going to take the next level because we had such a good time and want to learn more! A+ for Mike and his helper Emily!

Norcal Bob: Great results if you do the homework 👍

Dolores Nelson: We first startled going to BADT in 1995. All 5 of our dogs over the years have ended up very well behaved as a result. After the first dog, we realized it is mostly human training and all family members should participate. We have a new puppy coming and are going to go get our BADT trading refreshed.

Ed Basart: Perfect for a well behaved and we'll adjusted dog

Shashank Joshi: Mike is the dog whisperer! Really helped us balance nurturing with limits and behaviorism

Mary Grace Yao: Cant thank Emily and Mike enough for helping us with our dog, Joey.He had leash issues and aggressive to dogs when we first got him. It was Emily and Mike that helped us improved Joey’s overall behavior. It was nice that we can go to public places and Joey will not nip anyone.I also like how Joey greets Emily and Mike. He really runs to them.Thank you for helping Joey! Although he only had a short life, it was a great one because you helped him on socialization.I will definitely be back in the future!

Mary Flanagan: We really enjoyed the classes and our digs are better behaved!

SIRIUS Puppy & Dog Training: what do users think?

Heather Larson: We took our Australian Shepherd puppy here for his first classes and the puppy socials. They were great with him, despite him not being food motivated and often a loud talker. As most Aussies are, he was easily distracted and struggled to focus during training. The trainers were patient and calm, allowing us space to work with him and learn alongside him. I loved how they invited the whole family to be part of the process and encouraged our kids to be active participants in their training. 2 years later, Fitch is the best behaved dog we've ever owned, despite being the most hyper. We will take every puppy we get in the future to Sirius for their puppy classes and socials.

Shadie N: This is more of a dog psychology and works great.

Lauren Shields: Clean, fun instructor, and a very safe environment where the teacher and assistants are 100% familiar with dogs and how to understand them. Looking forward to going back!

Michael “MFantasy”: They do a stupendous job. The trainers are amazing. Such insightful knowledge.

Ben Andrews: Classes started on time, were very focused and on track! We are looking forward to our next classes

Dominique Garcia: Love Lynette's instruction. Even at the puppy socials she hosts my dog and I get to practice our training commands. Lynette gives me hope that I will have the behaviors I want in our dog if I work at it.

Mary Grace Yao: Love their puppy socials! Our pup always had a great time here for his puppy socials. I also like that they remove aggressive and bully puppies during play time.Eleanor shared so much training tips and was always friendly and polite. I really like her!Our puppy enjoyed his puppy socials in this location. It is $10 cash by the door, Fridays. Shy and active dogs are separated.

Orion Dog Training: what do users think?

Marcus Morroc-Bey: We brought our puppy to their socialization class, and I would highly recommend this institution for anyone with a puppy. The instructors are all knowledgeable, and the community is amazing. We had our first session today, and it was an overwhelmingly positive experience. We eagerly signed up for two more sessions after our class!

Fanglin Linda Liu: There are not many places in the bay that you can find puppy social with just the first vaccine. I’m glad that Orion offers social for young puppy to gain confidence. They also offer puppy social for dogs under 10lbs only. My puppy is small and shy, but after a few puppy social, she’s not afraid anymore!

Charlene Teets: Had a fun experience taking our dog Cookie here for her first puppy class. Feels like a well structured class that is still open and friendly to ask questions at. Looking forward to the other sessions.

Gina Johnson: Really excellent classes. The trainer is very positive, but still coaches the people for how to be strict/disciplined when appropriate. She's great at watching puppy behavior and is really kind and patient.

Rachel D.: Clean facility, very knowledgeable R+ trainers.

Ariel Friedman: I attended for a puppy social. It was well organize and safe !

Yujung Shen: Have known Dieuwke for a while and she has true passion for dogs and always learning new things from her!

Julia Hyrne: questions and has made a huge impact for Hattie's integration with the other pets. I've signed up to continue to puppy course 2 and puppy agility. If your looking for a trainer who genuinely adores dogs, is highly knowledge and uses only positive reinforcement- this is the place to go.

Roxsana Sepulveda: I love these classes so much! They have really helped my puppy become more social she has really gained a lot more confidence. If you have a shy puppy definitely recommend this class!Majesty has gone to a couple classes and now gets so excited when she arrives now.tysm dieuwke u are amazing!

victor cardiel: We attended our puppies second ever social class at this location and we can't simply state how happy we are that we found this place. Our puppy had a bad experience at a prior social class as she was extremely scared and nervous the entire time. She did not want to be there at all and was terrified as all the young pups approached her. When we attended orions social class we were nervous thinking she was going to hate her experience and to our surprise she actually loved it. I love how they crate off the scared and shy puppies allowing them the option to come out and play or come back in. At first she was nervous but tried to engage way more as the crate gave my puppy the confidence to engage as she felt safe. Not even 15 minutes in and my puppy was running around playing with other dogs. We can't thank them enough as we thought she was going to shell up but she didn't. I definitely recommend them to anyone with scared and shy puppies or any type of puppy that needs socialization. They truly are the best. We look forward to attending more classes in the near future!

Luva C: Dieuwke is great and gentle at helping others with their puppies. She is extremely knowledgeable and we have enjoyed taking our puppies to the socials!

Rebecca Butler: and are so happy with the experience. Dieuwke is really helpful, giving lots of personalized training tips. Ringo is truly a better dog for it!

alejandra corbella: Honestly a great place to train your doggie. The instructors are knowledgeable and good teachers. Prices are reasonable too, the only two things that I think would be great is having a class manual or after class email where you can get more info on homework and things to practice at home before the next class. I took puppygility and there was no instructions on what to do after class. I know other training facilities have videos and manuals which would have made my training experience much better. One more thing I will add is that if you miss a class you will most likely have to wait until next class available to make the class. This is not ideal if you miss a class halfway, etc. there should be more info about what happens if you miss a class.

kaylee rodriguez: I go for the puppy socialization and my pup absolutely loves it! Great area for getting your pups socialized safely

N S: We took our 5 year old pup to Orion dog training for a refresher course. Had a great experience. It really helped and it gave us a few new tool to use.

Jacqueline MacMillan: Petey had a wonderful experience at the puppy social and was feeling more relaxed over time.

Willow Glen Paws: what do users think?

Evelyn JFJ: We recently got a new puppy and had Rebecca over for a consultation. Although we've been dog owners before, it was really beneficial to have Rebecca make observations on our new pup's development and for her to give us advice specific to him. Rebecca is knowledgeable and kind and a terrific resource for dog training and socialization in the Willow Glen and greater San Jose area.

Bob Summers: Look no more - Rebecca is the dog whisperer you are looking for. She helped us with fundamentals with our 5 month old yellow lab. Invest in quality dog training to build the best relationship with your new family member. Rebecca helped us with crate, leash, down training and reducing jumping on people. When we were traveling we needed someone trusted to take care of our pup - Rebecca keeps a very low dog count to provide 1:1 attention. She sent us photos daily. It was clear our pup was in the right place. 🐶

Rita Cartagena: Thank You Rebecca! We learned some very useful information and training commands. Puppies take some patience and you have to put some work in it, you gave us hope for a better future.

Meghan Styles: Rebecca of Willow Glen Paws is amazing! Our 6 month old lab was a big coutner surfer, shoe/sock/pillow grabber, leash puller, and didn't come when called. After the inital consultation and a follow up session, I can happily say that our puppy has made significant improvements on all of the above. Rebecca provided us great foundations and homework to work on with our pup which we still use to this day.Rebecca took the time to listen to us, our needs, and our expecations of our puppy. Thank you, Rebecca!I highly recommend Willow Glen Paws!

Rabbi Allan Berkowitz: Professional, very knowledgable, communicates clearly with dog and human, provided really good specific attention to our dog concerns. Highly recommend Willow Glen Paws

Han Zhu: My 3 months golden doodle puppy had joined 4 weeks puppy school hold by Willow Glen Paws. The results were great. My puppy had learnt many skills from the school, most importantly he becomes more confident! Rebecca had also provided many useful information and homework for the dog owners to learn. I highly recommended Willow Glen Paws!

Abhinav Tekumalla: Rebecca is very experienced and Informed. We had a consult with her about some troubles we were having with our adolescent dog and she helped us understand things from our dog's perspective and suggested ways we can change the behaviour. I liked that she charges per session rather than pay up front for a bunch of sessions. That way we can work on things that she'd suggested and setup follow up consultations as necessary. i would definitely recommend Rebecca's services to anyone looking for some canine behavioural training

Courtney Langston-Jones: Rebecca worked with our rambunctious Golden Retriever puppy as part of her 6-week training course. The results were great and really laid the foundation for us to continue raising a calmer, more well-behaved pooch. We liked it so much that we've already taken advantage of her Train and Board services as a refresher when we went out of town for a few days. You will learn how to create the routines that create the structure for your dog. I highly recommended Willow Glen Paws!

Bernadett Villam Lopiccolo: Loved working with Rebecca! Her knowledge of positive reinforcement training has helped us tremendously. She was very easy to work with, gave us homework for the week, sent photos of our puppy playing. The puppy school is perfect if you are looking to socialize and train in a safe environment. I would definitely recommend her to any puppy parent.

Kevin Chen: We were becoming a little frustrated after we got our Lab puppy home. He ran wild in the house and bit anything he could reach. We were lucky to find Rebecca to rescue. Rebecca is passionate and experienced in puppy/dog training. Her systematic training course works like a wonder. After just first week of this four week training course, our puppy behaved much better. He not only commended basic cues but learned a good social skills when playing other pups. From Monday to Wednesday, our puppy was so excited when I dropped him off at Rebecca's house. I could see he was having such a good time while he was getting trained. I highly recommend Rebecca's dog day school.

Carlene Iverson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueRebecca is fabulous!! Our puppy Sunny loved her and it was great how quickly she picked up on the training!

Shannon McCarthy: ! He gets so excited when he sees her he can barely contain himself. If you don't know Irish Setters, they are SUPER HIGH ENERGY hunting dogs. She understands him completely.Unlike other trainers, she is very easy going and kindhearted with him and us. She takes her time so that we all understand what we're supposed to do. He is so much calmer now. Our relationship with him is growing and our bond with him is much stronger. He listens to us now and looks us in the eye for approval. We've only been with Rebecca for a few shorts months but his progress has been phenomenal. We are so grateful to Rebecca for all she's done for our family. We hold her in high esteem!

Deanna Morris: Willow Glen Paws Puppy School was just the training we needed for our little boxer. Rebecca was amazing to work with. She really listened, was supportive, and made training fun. Our puppy loved going there and we loved getting the updates and photos. We’ve definitely seen the results and would highly recommend this school to others.

Audrey Garcia: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ValueRebecca helped us get off to right start with our new Goldendoodle puppy. I enjoyed working with Rebecca and was happy with how she helped us train and teach our family how to work with the puppy. We also used her for boarding while on vacation. She made us feel very good about leaving our puppy in very good caring hands.

Emily B: Highly recommend. Rebecca takes a very positive & down to earth approach to dog training. She trains in her home, so our pup Annie learned in the same kind of environment she lives in - couches & kitchen counters & so on - and she gave us plenty of support to continue the training at home. I thought I pretty much knew the basics about puppies & dogs, but I learned so much from Rebecca!

K9 Keep Fit: what do users think?

alyssa cooper: Cannot recommend enough. We recently finished our 5 week group classes with the trainer, Gil. Sagan learned soooo much in just the 5 weeks & I feel so much more confident handling him.Sagan pretty immediately felt comfortable there & with the staff, who are so knowledgeable and helpful. We also have done one doggy daycare day and he was the most fulfilled I’ve ever seen him, resting so peacefully as soon as he got home. Can’t wait for Sagan to spend more time at K9 Keep fit.

lorant tassi: This is the go to place when we need a doggie daycare. My dog has been here since he was 3 months old.

M L: Best doggie day care!

Hiral Shah: Our dog loves it here and looks forward to her weekly visit to play with her friends when she’s feeling social or hanging out on the treadmill on the days she’s antisocial. We also regularly bosses her here when traveling and we feel good knowing she’s in Renee’s great hands. 😊

T McGarvey: Great place

V Yue: They are offering puppy social event. Our puppy really enjoy it!

Buddy's Way K9 Dog Training: My favorite dog daycare and boarding facility anywhere! Supervised Puppy Socials and individualized treatment makes this place shine. I can't recommend it enough.

Fritzie Mercado: and his puppy manners improved almost immediately just from the one hour a week of safe interaction with other dogs. Me and my partner jokingly call it "taking Panini to school" because he's been goin' to get some pup learning in.The staff are all great and are so friendly. They're always happy to see Panini! I really like that they give you a little summary of how your pup did during the social when you pick them up, and they take time to record and send videos of your pup playing with the others. Plus, I love that they tell me the names of the dogs that Panini played with, it's such a cute little detail and sometimes you run into the dog parents of those dogs and it's a fun conversation starter! The cost of the socials can add up especially since it's just an hour, but honestly it's so worth it to get your puppy some safe socializing time especially when a lot of the daycares aren't accepting new dogs. Like I said, Panini's dog manners have improved noticeably with every social and it has been a godsend, so I just consider it part of the cost of having a well-socialized dog.I have to leave the area for a while for work and I'm pretty sad that I'll have to find another place for Panini to socialize, but I'm definitely planning to bring him back once I'm more permanently in the area!

Meera Pamidi: My pup started coming here when he was just a few months old for puppy socials. Then we started daycare a bit later on. Now we have moved out of the area but I still bring him back occasionally when I’m visiting my parents in SJ. He has always loved coming here - he tries to run to the door so fast the second we get out of the car. The staff are friendly and helpful. I only hope they can expand a bit more bc it seems like lately they’re often full and have a huge wait list for new clients.

Reena S Pillai: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueWe left our fur baby for 5 days and he enjoyed every bit of the stay. I am glad I found a reliable place to leave my boy. The regular updates were helpful and made us feel at ease. Thanks for pampering and taking care of my fur boy.

Gina Li: Super friendly and attentive staff! We love the weekend puppy playgroup for puppy socialization. Thank you!!
