Amanda: I had a brand new house built in a new neighborhood this year, when I was asked by my realtor if I wanted to have a formal inspection done on the house. At first I wasn’t sure about the idea as it related to, did the house need a formal inspection knowing it is brand new, on top of the cost for the inspection.
