David Khalili: Not only is the space a beautifully crafted retreat, but Marc is an amazing teacher. I've been lucky enough to take classes with Marc and learn from his teaching style. His classes, and other wellness programming he offers is truly a gift to San Francisco. Thank you Marc!

Nitin Garg: I've done many online yoga classes with Marc and have loved each and everyone of them. Marc's passion and depth of practice shines through every time as he guides new and advanced students to adapt the practice to their body. He creates a safe and inviting space where students can feel comfortable but yet further their personal growth. Thank you Marc for being an awesome teacher!

Jason Pacheco: Mukunda Studio is an amazing yoga retreat and studio on Folsom St. in San FranciscoMarc is the best yoga instructor, I have ever practiced with. He is knowledgeable, empathetic, and teaches with kindness. So much to learn from him. His classes are good for beginners to those that have practiced for many years. I am happy to be a part of the Mukunda Yoga community.

Eva Velez: , the comfy and inviting lounge area with all sorts of tea selections, even the bathrooms feel luxuruous. Best of all, the warmth that Mukunda, himself, radiates and his attentiveness to ensure all your needs are met is just beyond anything I could expect anywhere else. I'm already thinking about the next time I could use this space.

Heather Chen: Love this spot so much! I’ve been going to Yoga Phamily classes at it’s old location in the mission until the location closed during the pandemic. They recently moved to Mukunda and honestly this studio is absolutely beautiful. It’s so clean and spacious, and the studio owner Marc is super nice! I would recommend anyone trying yoga for the first time, or looking for a place to continue their practice, to come check out the studio.

Vera L Arias: Amazing first time back to yoga with Nicole yesterday, Yoga 101 💖 Extremely smart, knowledgeable instructor with a very intimate ritual/ intuitive nature. Inclusivity at its finest. Was very intimated coming in as a very body self conscious, POC, gay, identify butch woman. And even got to touch hands with my partner during our long poses . It’s almost like she knew. Nicole made it so easy to feel included and beautiful in so many ways. Definitely going to keep coming back for more. Thank you!

Alexander Weingart: Been going here for 2 years, and I love it - great mix of vinyasa and hatha yoga, and also fitness classes. Especially recommend Christie, Anna, and Martin!

Colin Garcia: Loved this studio space and the teachers. Definitely coming back.

Sakura Rapolu: Great place for yoga! Love the classes

Rachel Forbes: I love Roy, Brynn and Jenna at this Folk location. Nice studio spaces, good range of classes.

Miguel Martínez: Great yoga studio. They always make me feel welcome and the variety of classes is so convenient. I love the way they make everyone feel welcome regardless of their level of practice.

Jenny Wang: Really enjoyed flow and restore! Space is so cute. It’s a three floor house. Class was exactly what I needed to stretch myself out and restore my body from traveling, sitting at a desk and working out. First class is $15.

Julia Partlow: Great yoga studio with great teachers! The NOPA studio is my favorite of the ones I’ve been to, but I’ve gone to the sunset and the Richmond one as well and they are both really nice. Feels nice to support a local yoga studio!

Luci Laffitte: This yoga studio has a beautiful relaxing garden and is in lovely Victorian house. My favorite teachers are Ryan Gerard and Daniela Rizza. Daniela’s classes are thoughtful… the flows are creative and build towards a more challenging pose. Ryan brings a friendly energy and provides very clear alignment cues for every pose that make me feel confident that I’m in a position that is productive and safe for my body. Thank you! 🙌🏻

Royd Chung: Great instruction, and beautiful space with an amazing view!

Alexis Frank: Mission space is beautiful with a view. Was impressed by the technical, creative and very high quality teaching.

Michael Duarte: The Vinyasa Yoga class with Jeremy Falk was very engaging. I felt great during and after the class.

Brittany Dominix: On a recent trip through San Francisco to My Shasta for training I went searching for the possibility of catching a class with Janet Stone. Luckily she was in town and teaching the Monday before and after training at Haum Mission Studio. I immediately booked my place in the two classes, not knowing what to expect from the studio itself. I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment I walked through the door I felt at home. I was immediately Welcomed and taken care of by the front desk staff. I could feel their care and desire to welcome me into their community of only for one class. The room was light filled from all of the natural light pouring through the many many windows. And the hardwood floors… just wow. A cozy, welcoming and.comfortable environment and community to come practice, just as you are. I will continue to bring myself and my practice to Haum anytime I pass through SF in the future. Thank you Haum. Grateful our paths have crossed. 😊❤️

Vicky C: This studio is absolutely beautiful! It’s in the 5th floor at this building at 16th and mission so it’s super convenient! I went to a Saturday morning class and there seemed to be a strong community there too. The front desk folks were super nice and helpful too! Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Jeremy: with the sun rising over the city. Would highly recommended experiencing it for yourself. All the teachers were amazing. I will definitely be doing more yoga here!

Jessica Hout-Freeman: This was the first yoga studio I ever went to back in 2006 when it was Yoga to The People. I was overjoyed when I learned that it is now HAUM, an inclusive yoga haven with the same breathtaking views of the city. I’ve come to 2 classes now taught by the lovely Ki and have been pleased by the experience from start to finish. Welcoming instructors, wonderful yogis, beautiful art, and calming/peaceful/energizing vibes! I look forward to attending a future workshop and trying their Haight Ashbury location too!

Chris Denoia: Phenomenal classes and great community. In 2 week trial, I attended classes from Janet Stone, Nat Kendall, and Jeremey Folk. All were unique and amazing.Bonus: meeting new people each class.

Nina Serr: Amazing class with great lighting & lots of time for stretching and breathing practice.

Alexis Evangelista: The studio here is absolutely beautiful! It had a stunning view and lots of space. The main issue I had would be figuring out how to get in, the area isn't the safest and there isn't clear instructions provided for entering the building. Otherwise, class was great and I do think that it's more for those who have a little more experience as there wasn't a lot of modifications offered.

ava ray: I signed up for Haum while visiting family in SF for two weeks and it was incredible. I loved every class. The studio is beautiful and the teachers are great. I can't wait to visit again!

Yuko Fujii: It is amazing beautiful place for Yoga!Gorgeous view!Super cool vibe! And instructor is talented amazing also. Would love to come back!

Mariel Andrea Aquino: lovely class experience with a beautiful view! be prepared for lots and lots of stairs, and a winding path to the space

Sanuja Das: Best place for a sunset yoga class!

Robin Osekowsky: Beautiful studio space and a really positive community vibe! The flows are a little nonstandard which gets you to push yourself more than you’re used to and try some new ways to move. Will definitely be back

Reigna Johnson: This space is BEAUTIFUL. I was a little skeptical coming into the old building because the area seems a little rough and you have to climb the stairs to the very top floor. But once you hit the top floor, it is unbelievable beautiful. The space is unique, warm, and gorgeous! One of the prettiest studios I’ve been to. The instructor was amazing and the experience overall was very positive. Highly recommend. Definitely a hidden gem.

Ana Carolina Oliveira: and beautiful view!

Birgit Woetzl: Love the gorgeous space! The teachers are super welcoming, encouraging for connections and I love that you get both: yoga and some form of chanting, kirtan, meditation, loud music to stay pumped staying in the postures, etc. Great job to build the vibe.

안지숙: I'm using the 30-day trial version and it's great. It was my first time doing hot yoga, so it was difficult, but I loved it.

Kristen Hall: I’ve been going here for two years and I love it. Brian is great, the vibe is great, and the people are super friendly. It’s bikram but not super hot. Brian can modify all his poses for any injury, and really understands body mechanics. My posture, overall strength, endurance, and flexibility have all improved a LOT. I also do his strength training which was the key to take my fitness to the next level. I can’t recommend Body Tonic enough.

Amily He: Brian is what made myself and my husband sticking to yoga. He gives you individual attention unlike other group yoga classes where you are just going with the flow.

Joanna Sheridan: Body tonic sf has changed my life. My energy level, flexibility and strength have improved dramatically since I committed to classes with Brian.

Dylan Lake: I can’t recommend Brian’s classes enough. I joined about a year and a half ago after a similarly long break from fitness and it’s been transformative. Brian gets you to perform at a high level of effort, day after day, and leave happy. I have never gotten so much personal attention and adjustments from a yoga instructor, and as a result my posture, flexibility, and general energy are as good as they've ever been. I understand and am more in touch with my body than any time in the 30+ years before this. Brian meets you where you are at, and as a man who has always enjoyed yoga but struggled with flexibility, that has allowed me to get into postures I had never done correctly before and truly progress every week. Highly, highly recommend this studio if you are committed to changing your life.

kuan cheng: studio where the instructor circulates the room and helps me with my poses, rather than just doing his own practice himself from the front of the room.this is a game-changer for me and makes me get sooooo much more out of class than when i go to classes that feel basically like doing youtube yoga in-person.this also makes it super motivating to go to class, since you know you'll be getting personalized help & attention there.brian is very knowledgeable and caring, and absolutely makes you feel like a priority.

Liza de Vries: how to walk correctly. Through wisdom, kindness, and humor Brian has moved my body and mind into a place where healing has already begun. I am so grateful. Thank you.

Tony Howard: I’ve been practicing regularly 2-3 times a week with Brian at Body Tonic for close to 3 years now and having been a former Bikram practitioner, appreciate his focus on form over heat. Temperature of his practice is much more conducive to pushing your poses without overdoing it. At 54 years of age my form and flexibility have gone next level since working with him and Sarah and the reasonable class size allows for more personalized and constructive guidance. Studio is always clean and it’s a convenient location between Van Ness and Franklin. Highly Recommend!

Julie Butenko: I recently had the pleasure of attending classes at Body Tonic SF yoga studio and I must say, it was an excellent experience. The classes cater to different levels and preferences.Brian is not only a skilled yoga practitioner, but also an attentive instructor. He is always there to guide and correct my posture, ensuring that I was getting the most out of each pose. His attention to detail and personalized approach made me feel supported and encouraged throughout the class. What I really enjoyed about Body Tonic SF was the element of fun that was infused into the classes. While the focus is on yoga and improving flexibility and strength, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. There is a sense of community and camaraderie among the participants, which added to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a yoga studio that offers excellent classes with an attentive instructor like Brian, and where you can have some fun while improving your practice, I highly recommend Body Tonic SF.

Christina Salani: I joined this studio about 6 months ago and I can’t say enough good things about my experiences. I love how devoted Brian is to teaching. He has helped me understand my poses better than anyone else has done in the 20+years I’ve been doing yoga. I also love the differences in teaching in Sarah’s class.. she adds more core instruction and her knowledge and instruction in yoga helps me keep my focus on my body and my breath. One of the main reasons I joined this gym was because it also offered a lift class. This is a whole body workout that is centered around the core. I have learned so much about my body in this class definitely found muscles in my core that I didn’t know existed. This place offers the whole package for getting in shape the right way. I’m loving my transformation so far and excited to see what the future brings!

Henry Bridges: Spacious dry-heat studio with instructors who are knowledgeable and generously provide specific posture advice..

calumadair1989: Game changer

Lisa James: One of the best yoga studios in CA. Heated perfectly. Gorgeous, clean studio. Outstanding instructors.

Jennifer: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityCYC is amazing! From great communication to an Awesome class. Karen was my instructor for my first class and she is warm, caring, positive and motivating. Her energy is calming and welcoming. I highly recommend California Yoga Company.

Justin Glier: Brian,I have been buying "first timer offer" packages in every yoga studio nearby for the past two years. Yours was the best. Thank you for helping me. Now that I have decided to become a yoga instructor, I will rely on you as an inspiration because of your excellent sequence of postures and knowledge of proper, helpful form. Thanks for that.Kind regards,JustinP.S. My bike ride from Washington D.C. to San Francisco in 2019 was incredible. May have booped a coyote.

Joy Blackhurst: . I will definitely be back!

Nate Truman: I'm new to yoga, and every class that I've been to thus far has been fantastic. It's a welcoming environment that takes its yoga practice seriously, but manages to not be off-putting to the uninitiated & novices amongst us. Thus far, I've only been to Wylie and Gudrun's classes, and both were wonderful.

Bo: . Only reason I am giving 4 stars is I get the distinct smell of mold in the studio. Best guess is mold might be starting to form underneath the padded foam flooring. Im rather sensitive to mold and can usually detect it quickly in a space. Id encourage the staff to please check and see if this hunch is correct.

Andrew S Klug (ASK): This yoga studio in the magical Presidio of San Francisco offers an incredible flavor of yoga that is wholesome, spiritually validating, and at the same time athletically challenging. Moreover, it is the home of a very special community that I am grateful for.

Emmanuel Massenez: love it

S L: Best yoga studio in the city!

Mickey Hardt: Dropped in for a 90 minute power class with Jennifer. She was an exquisite teacher, the class was incredible. Consistent energy yet well balanced. Creative and challenging yet approachable and flexible to each participant. Would highly recommend!

Shauna Graham: I had been seeking for an alternative studio in the Marina area when I stumbled onto this hidden treasure. I had some reservations about going at first, but in the end I decided to attend, and when I got there, I was really taken aback by how amazing the direct flow was and how immaculate the studio is. Although it seemed more like ashtanga than vinyasa, I really loved it and would definitely go there again in the future.

Amber Ovalle: In 2018 a friend asked me to join her at BYSF. I was not a regular yogi practitioner by any means, but the Baptiste methodology, a 60 min practice rooted in finding your edge and learning to breathe through it, is exhilarating. It’s a diverse community, women & men of all ages and levels all coming together to practice a moving meditation of challenging power yoga. I am forever grateful to have found this studio and know how magical it is to find your tribe. Be a yes, check it out, and be ready to grow through flow!

Violet Mason: Very friendly staff and great facility. Thank you Baptiste Yoga San Francisco, and Peyton for helping me out!

Brandon Sommers: Best yoga studio in the area. The teachers and owners are so passionate and friendly about all things yoga, as well as just getting to know me as a person, without talking about yoga. The classes are challenging, and in the best way. There is something different happening in this studio from others I’ve been to. I can’t even put my finger on it. It’s an experience, to say the least. I’d highly recommend anyone to check this place out, to see for yourself the experience I’m speaking to.

Nayha Dixit: . I miss this place every day.

Mike Kowalczyk: Sean and Jen have done an amazing job of attracting a team of teachers who are very much like themselves: kind, generous, humble and inspiring. The studio is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The community is inter-generational and from all walks of life. The best studio I've been to in 20+ years in SF.

Maria Pitkanen: This is a beautiful studio, highly recommend a visit if you like heated yoga.

micha kenneally: Never really got into yoga until coming here. The facility is clean and well managed. The instructors are great- positive, encouraging and enthusiastic. Baptiste a very specific flow sequence that’s challenging and more advanced. I always come out feeling balanced and renewed, not to mention sweaty!

David Rachford: I attended a workshop here and was impressed by the facility; lockers are available, showers, they even had bags available for sweaty laundry post practice. On the Sundays during the spring/summer, the studio is close to a picnic area where food trucks come in; for a good family day hang.Right in the Presidio; the studio is great for a hot yoga practice, and the teachers are well trained and courteous.

Liza Pomerantz: I love this studio so much. It’s so welcoming to any new yogis. I also love everything about the ritual class: loud upbeat music, dark/candle-lit studio, two teachers per class one providing hands on assists, massages during opening and closing meditations, cold eucalyptus towels during savasana. If you’re a true traditional yogi, you probably won’t like their spin on the practice, but if you’re open to new types of yoga, it’s amazing. It also is fast paced and can sometimes take 2-3 classes to really understand how it flows…in my opinion though, once you get it, you’ll be hooked! I was a member from 2015-2018, moved away for four years and couldn’t find a studio that even came close to what they offer, and was so excited to move back to practice here again.

Cindy Astorga: Before I started to work here, I have been to many other yoga studios before. In San Francisco there is a grip of them and each one has its own personality. But I have to say, that the Ritual style is truly a well rounded unique experience. I don’t want to give it away but it does feel like you entered a different world holding a safe space to enter within yourself and start healing within. And it all starts as soon as you enter the studio.

Acarie Sadang: I love the whole Ritual Crew in Soma, the teachers are my cheerleaders and honestly, it's a good release after a long day. I highly recommend for beginners because we were all once a beginner and it doesn't matter as long as you keep moving and breathing to the beat. ;

Kyle Dowling: Love this studio! Great instructors, good vibes, good music, and great workouts!

Heidi Liou: . I'm glad I didn't have to bring a mat or towel.Highly recommend taking a class with Dottie, I loved her energy.

Eva Pong: Hands down the best hot yoga studio!Ritual is a super unique yoga practice where you flow to the beat of the music. First timers, don’t shy away after your first class! It does take some getting to the ritual flow style. I love that I’m constantly challenged by the flows and peak postures of the week. I 100% attribute Ritual to pushing my limits in the best way, I’ve learned so much, and now able to do some cool arm balances. Love the community and the amazing teachers here! 🏻

Anna Gostine: Best yoga studio in SF. Super supportive environment and catered to all levels. The class is done in low light and always has a great playlist. Seriously, the best 50 minutes you’ll have!

Linglong Zhu: Love the all inclusive experience, no need to bring anything, just show up. They have all the tower and equipments you need for class and shower etc. very continent. Taco Tuesday smells so good.Con is I feel the class is best for ppl who are used to their pace, it was dark and fast pace, hard to follow for new comers. It’s like a yoga HIIT class. Not suitable for ppl who have injuries, and I felt it’s was a bit easy to hurt myself I’d move too fast or do it wrong. They have TA to help on correction but felt not enough instructions overall. My bkg: I’ve done yoga many years, knows most typical poses, but have leg and wrist injuries. But the teacher’s voice was beautiful and the ending towel was nice. Not much massage though, it was more of holding your upper arm for 5s.

Raquel Araujo: . They welcome all bodies and styles. You get a warm up, then a flow that we reeat 4 times x2 for each side. 2 with guidance and 2 in our own. There is also a bit of an ab workout and finally more flow. There is a peak pose each week and you can see how much you improve. Levels are up yo you but they do from 1 to 4. I can personalize it depending on my goals and how my body feels. The music and flows depend on the teachers. For example, one will have more arm work and another one zero. They also offer yin restorative yoga classes and I use these to work through any pain.

Rachel Goldschmid: I used to live at 6th and Howard and being near Ritual was one of the only benefits of living in that neighborhood. Room is super hot, music is super loud, lights off so you can focus on yourself. No need to bring your own mat or towel. While I'm very glad I don't live nearby anymore, I do miss Ritual!

Grace B: Lots of class times each day, they provide the yoga mat and towels. Each class is unique, is fast paced and challenging, but energizing and healing!

adam lawrence: I want to make a recommendation to all who read this. This is a great studio with excellent instructors. Tip a little. I know most people don’t carry cash, but $5 is always a nice gesture to your instructor. I started going to the ATM where I can get 5’s, and started carrying during the pandemic and always go out of my way to tip cash now when I can, as it’s been so hard on all my service friends. Just a suggestion. Dillon and Sydney are amazing!!

Kelsey McParland: I have been going to Ritual for several years and it's been an absolute pleasure! The staff is inviting, friendly, and willing to help any way they can. The experience can be intense for newbies but I highly recommend sticking with it by attending multiple sessions and you'll be hooked. Members get one, monthly private session with instructors to work on form, too. Overall, happy to have this studio so close to home!

mimikrum: I have been attending classes at Folk in Bernal and Noe for a few months now. Very friendly and accommodating staff and teachers and great variety of classes. Great locations!

Nathan Guiles: Such a great spot for a variety of practice types! I’m a big fan of the power yoga class when you want to get more of a workout in. All of the instructors are great as well

Tracy S: - there is a great mixture of yoga and fitness classes to restore or invigorate. The classes are great, the teachers and other students are really friendly, can't recommend highly enough.

Rachel Forbes: My favorite of the Folk locations. Stellar teachers like Nicole, Chelsea, and Becca—I love their Power Flow classes. Always challenging but not overly rigorous.

Liza Schillo: I love this studio, it’s intimate and bright. Becca is an absolutely fantastic teacher- she understands joint hyper mobility, so if you find yourself super flexible and with a sore lower back after classes, take her class- she can help you correct poses so you don’t hurt yourself and stretch muscle, not connective tissue!

Jenna Valez: The best!

Tulika Wagle: Great location & love the Bernal Folk team!!

Jake Brody: Awesome studio. Broad diversity of classes, taught by awesome instructors. Nicole, JL, Chelsea and Michelle are AWESOME!

Sivan Goobich: I love Moxie! I’ve been practicing with them for nearly five years now at 20th street, Bernal, and online and am consistently amazed at how much my fitness level, balance, and self-knowledge has grown as a result. There is a good mix of teachers and intensity in classes, but always excellent cues and pace. Caitlin and Tanya are some favorites but I’ve never had a bad class with any instructor. Thank you Moxie for getting me through the pandemic and helping me grow my practice!

Carolina O'Daly: I absolutely love Moxie and it's community, they have 5 studios in the city that really helps with anyone's schedule. What I like the most is that teachers come from different backgrounds, you get to learn and practice different styles of classes every time you go. All studios except Nobhill are VERY spacious, they impose COVID restrictions with yoga mat's spacing, masks are required, they take temperature before each class, it's just wonderful.

Marni Sweetland: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Laura Brunow: Can't wait to go back to in person yoga at this awesome studio! I love working out in an 80 degree infrared heated room. Feels like I'm doing yoga in Hawaii or something. For people who do appreciate the spiritual side of yoga, like myself, I wouldn't take their "just yoga, no BS" vibe too seriously. All of the instructors bring depth to the practice.

Erin Stevenson: for different reasons, but we all find a path of growth at MOXIE!

Caitlin Barta: Really love going here! Perfect length, great workout, not overly packed with people so I enjoy going.

Colleen Whalen: Awesome experience! Very welcoming environment with a great variety of classes!

ava isobel: Glow SF has become my sanctuary. What a beautiful community. Barre, Pilates, Sound Bath and Yoga are all 5 star. The teachers are loving and some of the best I have ever worked with.

Juliette Pruneau: I am taking class at Glow for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience from the very begin. You can find different type of classes and workshops, diffferent type of yogis and bodies. It's a great place for clear the mind, strength the body, and eventually create a community.

Kimberly Rice: I booked an 8min CBD Massage + Cupping + Lymphatic scrub + Red lightMy session with Nora was amazing! I’ve never done full body red light therapy and it was a nice way to start. The scrub felt great and I really enjoyed the cupping. She spent a little extra time on my right elbow, as I’m recovering from tendinitis and it was much needed. I will be back!

A Jaan: I tried a class here with a friend, and really enjoyed it. The studio is beautiful and clean, smells wonderful. Highly recommend this studio.

Bob and Esther Huddleston: Glow Yoga 擁有與其他工作室不同的氛圍。我看到這個工作室改變了人們,包括我自己。這是第三種力量的自我照顧。

Tanya Sadova: , tensed muscles, even during painful periods

Gillian Seymour: My wife and I just moved to the neighborhood and found our new yoga and pilates/barre home! Glow is my dream studio, having both great core workouts and relaxing and challenging yoga classes to choose from. It's super laid-back and is very welcome to people of all shapes and sizes. The location is perfect, close to Washington Square, very bright, airy, and peaceful ambiance. The SoundBath Yoga was a really interesting experience. Think experimental sound art meditation. Very cool. I highly recommend the hot stone yoga too. It's a perfect way to unwind.

Anne Bouse: I attended a sound bath meditation at Glow. It was a very relaxing experience, which stared with guided breath work before transitioning into the full sound bath. I've participated in several classes at Glow. While all of the experiences have been different, the Glow team consistently makes everyone feel welcome. They greet the first time attendees with the same warmth as they greet the regulars. I can't wait to go back for my next class.

Rayme Waters: I have been a member at Glow for about two months. I started with the 10 day unlimited classes and LOVED it. It's a very clean and professional studio with a warm heart. The owner and teachers are all amazing and always look after you. I now am a full member which includes unlimited classes, two treatments a month and unlimited infrared treatments. So far, so good, I'm so glad to have found this studio!

Rachael Horlak: hardcore class I've ever taken. I watched my body actually change shape after a month of these classes. They are quick, fun and manageable. Not only is Glow effective and convenient, it's a wonderful community of neighborhood gals. I love and appreciate that my fitness routine also brings comradery and a sense of joy into my life as well. If you need motivation to work out but also motivation to stay grounded and happy, make Glow your second home!

Katrina Baccetti: I LOVE Glow! Glow offers a sweet and welcoming yoga + wellness community in North Beach. There are so many skilled teachers offering classes at this studio! Whether you want to stretch, sweat, get strong, or practice relaxation, there is truly something for everyone at this studio! I recently took the Scenic Stairs Cardio class with Tankut and it was amazing! We worked out while hiking telegraph hill as the sun was coming up. You must visit Glow! 💜

Emanuela Neagu: 愛發光!我週末參加了他們的戶外公園課程,非常棒。感覺就像一個社區,業主娜塔莎很棒。

Tanmay Chordia: , I leave each class feeling amazing. My body and mind feel dramatically better all throughout the day. This dramatic improvement would have been impossible without their dedicated guidance and effort.I don’t think I could have asked for a better experience. The music and vibe of the place is also amazing. Thanks so much Gary and Steve!

Sandrine Calabria: This is true yoga. Everything else out there is a circus.

Jeena James: During my visit to SF, I was happy to find a Asta Yoga offering Ashtanga practice and went for their classes. I really enjoyed the practice and highly recommend SF locals and travelers to check it out. The Studio is very well maintained and was extremely neat and clean. Also, there was ample space for everyone to practice. Steve is an excellent teacher and makes the entire studio and the yoga experience a very welcoming experience. It's very hard to find good Asthanga practitioners around, and I'm so glad Asta Yoga provides these classes and guide the students through! Thank you! I'll keep coming back here whenever I'm in town!

Alex C: I’ve been studio-hopping across the city until I found the gem that is Asta. Steve and Gary are experienced yogi practitioners and teachers, and I love practicing in this welcoming space with many friendly yogis.Asta has helped me deepen my yoga practice over the years. The style of yoga is Ashtanga-based, which is a traditional practice that has been around for decades — not one of those fitness fads that come and go! I highly recommend that you check this place out!

Rona Z Silkiss MD FACS: Gary and Steve are expert yoga teachers- kind, patient, thoughtful. Asta is a sanctuary for all levels of practitioners seeking a community of dedicated yogis.

Jacqueline C: Gary da goat

Ana Rivero: What a lovely & unpretentious place. I loved getting yoga classes here. This place is a gem!

Anastasiia Myers: Best yoga studio across the world

E BVD: join da crew of rocket heads.

Xiafei: The best yoga studio

Patsi Schenkkan: Excellent teachers - great practice for beginners and experienced yogis alike. Gracious and friendly atmosphere.

Anastasiia Stu: I am so happy I discovered this studio. I did ashtanga with the teacher before, but I never went to the school that is all ashtanga orientated. It’s exactly what I need right now - the structure, and the monitoring of my own progress through the practice. Plus I like to experience slightly different approach from each instructor.Thank you, Ashta Yoga.Light in me seeing light in you🙏

Henry Fuller: best studio in the city if you are a dedicated yogi.

Vanilla Sunrise: In town for business trip. I was looking just for a basic yoga class just to get moving cause I’m sick of sitting around a hotel when I travel for work and just work all crunched up. This class was a good time from my flight and included everything I needed without having to pack my own stuff. Class was different than I expected but was a great change to normal slower yoga. Gives you a good workout sweat. I really enjoyed this class and when I’m back I’ll definitely sign up for another class! I’m looking for something similar in LA when I’m there next week. I have high expectations now for these other studios!

Patricia AuBuchon: My favorite place besides y7 in La! They give you towels and mats everything you need… water cups and showers everything available there for free. Super fast great vibe and flow.

Mary Herigstad-Franz: I took a class with the instructor Adit and she was amazing!! It was definitely a hard class, but I felt amazing after. Adit was extremely encouraging and gave a very uplifting meditation at the beginning and end of the class. It was a truly magical experience.

Sandy L.: I tried the hot yoga for the first time. I did not know what to bring for the class and even did not know the most basic thing but luckily students and staff are friendly and welcoming. This place is very convenient for people work in FiDi. The confined space is understandable considering the housing price and crazy rent in this hood.As a beginner, I wish there would be option to learn the basic steps in some class.

Sean Tracy: Ritual hot yoga is amazing. Take a class with Kelly and your body and mind will thank you. She's driven and motivated to help each person succeed. Her energy is contagious and will bring you back for another ritual hot session!! ❤️

Yani Lee: Friendly teacher and upbeat music. Maybe the classes are not for the beginners, need some level of experience.

Dasha Tsenter: - it is a serious workout, so don't get disappointed if your body doesn't allow you to get to a lot of poses- it is dark in the room during class

Avi: Love this place, these people, this flow 🤙🏼

Trip Hosley: I love it, tight space but a fantastic staff and super convenient. Fast pace hot yoga work out, in and out in 50 minutes. It's perfect for me

Enrico Gonzo: Great meditation! Thank you very much for offering this meditation. it does work. I tend to be anxious during the day but calm down and relax when i do this meditation.

JoAnn Bonifacio: Beautiful gem in the City. Outstanding community of yoga teachers, spiritual mentors, and friends. Many offering from yoga classes, meditation, kirtan, community lunches, retreats, and workshops. I am very happy to be apart of this welcoming sangha. Jai Swami Satchidanandaji! Jai!

mercy mungwadzi: The people have extra love and care. It makes me always want to come back everyday

Tejaswini Ganapathi: I came here just a few times and it feels like a second home to connect with my body, mind and soul. I will be exploring it for their TTC programs as well.

Abinaya Swaminathan: I was here for a Yoga therapy module assessment and graduation. Firstly the course was amazing. There’s was clear communication about the schedule and what we should be expecting on arrival. The institute is well maintained, there’s a lot of room for training student, clients who come for sessions or therapy. A mask is mandatory. There’s a tshirt and book shop as well. As a part of program they cooked us a vegan meal it was healthy and delicious. They provide a lot of TTCs and therapy courses accredited by IYAT & YA.

Patrick “Inspector Pat” McMahon: Went here to take some pictures. Took them. Was told the place was closed through a thick pane of glass on the front door. Left. It was alright...You should change your hours on Google.

MAMUKA MDIVANI: Divine energies

K Rashmi W: you will receive plenty of personal attention and mentoring. The tuition covers all of the materials, free yoga classes offered at the institute, homemade vegetarian meals for Sunday sessions, and a 4-day retreat at Commonweal in Bolinas.

Anna Caroline Lavenue: Classes with Eric are fun and exciting! I enjoy the location of the studio very much. All ages welcome. It brings a crowd without yoga ego which is nice. Folks aren’t judgy about yoga skills so you feel supported trying new things. I recommend.

Tina Cognata: Great class

Taylor Lewis: Thank you!

Scott Rowe: Brad guided us in a lovely Yin & Restorative class which ticked all the boxes for me: he emphasized listening to our bodies and where they are today, while still allowing us to go as deep as we wanted. He was great with respectful personal guidance, as well. It’s been years since my last yoga class, and even longer since my last yin class, and it was good to come back to the mat.

Marissa Goodman Thieriot: Joy went above and beyond to make me comfortable. It was a wonderful and truly healing experience. She customized it to suit my needs.

Jen Nash: Truly excellent.

Jennifer Tran: Lori leads a really fun and enjoyable Vinyasa class. All classes at Purusha have been wonderful and I really enjoy shaking off a long day with this evening flow class.

Amelia Hogan: She's one of my favorite instructors. Her approach is gentle, connected, fluid, and well, restorative! I also enjoy her Hatha Yoga for beginners class. Would highly recommend.

Pat Loughlin: Allegras' Sunday evening class was wonderful. She is a skilled teacher. Her sequencing was inviting and engaging. I also appreciated the focus on "letting go and making room." Finding someone who is a gifted teacher is always a blessing. So glad to have found this class. Thank You.

Hiroko Schreiber: Very clean and nice environment. Friendly stuff and very relaxing class. I'll go back!

Shane Crary Ross: needed today ❤️

Jackie Rogers: This is a lovely studio. Very nice vibe and very skilled teachers. , Joy.’s slow flow Wednesday mornings is always a tonic.

Denette Covarrubias: . If you're looking for peace, fulfillment , and a practice to deepen your intuition. Please attend!

Bodywork•Therapy Collective: Sat Nam🙏🕉What used to be called Guru Ram Das Ashram is a very sacred place to practice the Dharma and in particular the teachings of Kundalini Yoga.On Sundays they have a beautiful service where people gather and sing songs, do mantra recitation and bring their beautiful children together in this peaceful abode. This is just one place in the beautiful Bay area where Sangha is everywhere and we can find solace in some sacred situation where people come together to honor our spiritual connection.

Ethan Kennerly: It's been years, yet when I did go, I often had a deep experience. Kundalini yoga emphasizes explosive breathing in awkward poses. I wouldn't eat 3 hours beforehand.

Andrew Nolan: The best place in the Bay Area to do kundalini yoga. Period.

Brenda Raffaelli: Love it!!!!

Amina Zamani: Great ashram! Giving owners and if you want to practice kundalini it's a great intro place.

Masaye: You Do Not Need to Live With Your "Bad Back!"I never thought I would take weekly reformer Pilate. I was a cheap-as-possible gym membership person. When I switched from standing to desk work, I developed horrific back pain. I was seeing a great chiropractor, but my back would still go into spasms. During a spasm so bad I considered calling 911, I decided enough is enough: I needed to strengthen my core.I went to Mauricio at Pilates SF, the studio with the cute bull dogs. He is a true Healer. Like a miracle, I no longer have back spasms. He has taught me how to stretch and works out muscles I didn't know I had. Yes it is an investment but back surgery one day would be a lot more expensive and not the road I want to go down. If you have back issues, I urge you to go to Pilates Vita SF. The staff co-owner Greg, Scarlett Maya are outstanding and truly listen and cater to your specific needs.Over 18 months later I still go to Pilates Vita SF as an important part of my wellness. As anyone who's suffered pain knows, health is wealth. Invest in your vessel: your one and only body at this amazing, healing place.

Debra Martin Cox: Congratulations VITA Pilates for winning the Best Pilates Studios award!I look forward to doing classes here three times a week. It’s such a joy to work out with Greg, Mauricio and playing with their two hilarious bulldogs. It truly is the best pilates studio that I have ever experienced.

Paula-Jo Husack: Hmmm, the truth is, I'd give 10 stars if it were possible. Here are several reasons why. Those of us Pilates enthusiasts know that a regular pilates practice is wellness strengthening and expanding, quality-of-life building, challenging, fun, invigorating, and research-backed. Now, add: I'm an enthusiast of Pilates Vita, specifically. Mauricio and Greg are the originators of Pilates Vita SF. Their years of experience, warmth, dedication to whole health, intuitiveness, skill and flexibility in planning for each person's needs make it a rich time spent! Besides Mauricio, more regularly working with Maya, a true wizard of extraordinary expertise about the human body and movement. For example, she has known how to safely integrate the types of movements that signal my injured hand/arm to gain function. After seven years post-accident and still struggling, this was an iconic happening that has allowed me to clap again. Maya has the keys to full-body strength/balance building and maintaining. The sessions are worked and reworked according to where you are and where you want to be. Plus, Maya's input gives you the bigger realistic picture on how to sustainably get there. It's a blast to be challenged by new sequence combinations. There's an are infectious calm, positivity, and enthusiasm about all that's possible in one-to-one Pilates; and I'm an example in my full lifestyle. Add Gaston and Zander, Mauricio and Greg's Bulldog sons; and, for sure, your cheeks will tire from smiling at the cuteness. Pilates Vita is not just a one-to-one session. Maya and Mauricio have helped me take from their whole wellness environment and integrate it into my daily life. Stay consistent with Pilates here and you'll experience its consistent staying power!

Crickette Brown Glad: Maya is an incredible Pilates instructor! She is what I call a “bodyoligist” and can target specific muscle groups to strengthen them. She is helping me build muscles to support better posture. I’ve been doing Pilates for 24 years and she is by far, the best instructor ever!

Knives Chao: Over the past four months I’ve consistently taken private classes w/ Mauricio, Greg, and recently Lena. They each have their own style of teaching, but they all observe good form, and intuitively challenge my physical limitations🙏🏾. At first I attended classes 2x/week, but have increased to 3x/week. To me, it is very clear that my body is getting stronger, more flexible, and increasingly relieved from pain and muscle imbalances. In the past month, coworkers and friends have commented on how fit I look 😁. I highly recommend Pilates Vita to anyone that wants to increase their quality of life and foster a great mind-muscle connection. Also, if you’ve never tried it before, they are very welcoming, kind, and there is very low risk for injury. I’m so glad to have found a new Pilates home!

Susan Fesus: Mauricio and Greg are the BEST! I love going to them twice a week and interacting with their two great dogs. Their equipment is state of the art, they are very professional and give us a great workout with lots of laughter. We highly recommend Pilates Vita! Susan & George Fesus

Shannon Kinahan: I have been coming to Pilates Vita for one on one classes consistently for over a year and a half and I could not recommend Greg and Mauricio more. Not only are you getting a challenging, unique & personalized workout that will absolutely give you physical results, but I have noticed a huge difference in my concentration / focus and overall mental clarity. Greg and Mauricio have changed the way I view exercise, I genuinely look forward to each session and I cannot wait to continue this journey with them!

Lori NeJaime: As a Physical Therapist, 27 yrs and a Pilates Instructor, 16 yrs, I would highly recommend Pilates Vita!! Mauricio, one of the owners, is very professional, knowledgeable, extremely detailed with instructions especially regarding safety and alignment, he has a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor….His trainings are so much fun 🤩I was visiting San Francisco and referred to them by another Pilates studio because they were closer to my apartment …that speaks volumes. On my next visit will definitely go back!! 💕 Thank you Mauricio🙏
