Vera L Arias: Amazing first time back to yoga with Nicole yesterday, Yoga 101 💖 Extremely smart, knowledgeable instructor with a very intimate ritual/ intuitive nature. Inclusivity at its finest. Was very intimated coming in as a very body self conscious, POC, gay, identify butch woman. And even got to touch hands with my partner during our long poses . It’s almost like she knew. Nicole made it so easy to feel included and beautiful in so many ways. Definitely going to keep coming back for more. Thank you!

Alexander Weingart: Been going here for 2 years, and I love it - great mix of vinyasa and hatha yoga, and also fitness classes. Especially recommend Christie, Anna, and Martin!

Colin Garcia: Loved this studio space and the teachers. Definitely coming back.

Sakura Rapolu: Great place for yoga! Love the classes

Rachel Forbes: I love Roy, Brynn and Jenna at this Folk location. Nice studio spaces, good range of classes.

Miguel Martínez: Great yoga studio. They always make me feel welcome and the variety of classes is so convenient. I love the way they make everyone feel welcome regardless of their level of practice.

Jenny Wang: Really enjoyed flow and restore! Space is so cute. It’s a three floor house. Class was exactly what I needed to stretch myself out and restore my body from traveling, sitting at a desk and working out. First class is $15.

Julia Partlow: Great yoga studio with great teachers! The NOPA studio is my favorite of the ones I’ve been to, but I’ve gone to the sunset and the Richmond one as well and they are both really nice. Feels nice to support a local yoga studio!

Luci Laffitte: This yoga studio has a beautiful relaxing garden and is in lovely Victorian house. My favorite teachers are Ryan Gerard and Daniela Rizza. Daniela’s classes are thoughtful… the flows are creative and build towards a more challenging pose. Ryan brings a friendly energy and provides very clear alignment cues for every pose that make me feel confident that I’m in a position that is productive and safe for my body. Thank you! 🙌🏻

Libby: I'm not very experienced with yoga or pregnancy but Jane Austin offers a genuinely welcoming, pleasant and enjoyable prenatal yoga class. Her outgoing demeanor, sense of humor, and level of comfort and confidence around pregnant people makes the sessions seem extra special. You're not just signing up to do some moves on a mat--Jane often shares a series of helpful pregnancy and baby-related tips and funny anecdotes throughout the sessions and during poses. Despite her large volume of session participants he also appears to have that natural skill of remembering names. I've only attended two of her sessions so far and it already feels like spending time with a caring friend.

Mei Zhang: Yoga flow SF is a fantastic hot yoga studio! The interior is such a vibe with the color changing LED lights and minimal decor. The instructors keep the studio at a good temperature, hot but not overwhelming. I’ve been going for a year, the classes are always solid. My favorite instructors are Rowena, Natalie, and Brad. I really appreciate their focus on breath in combination with the practice and their insightful pose corrections. I’ve also taken classes with Danimal and Jim, both are good instructors their classes are more workout + yoga than traditional yoga.I recently did Rowena’s “progression to headstand” January program and had an amazing experience. I went from struggling in dolphin to getting into my first tucked headstand all within a few short weeks! I appreciate that all the instructors offer modifications and poses at different levels.

Preethee: On a recent visit to SF, I did the one week intro special. During that intro period, they did charge for mats and towels, which was a bit excessive. They offer a variety of class times and slightly different styles which is helpful. Classes on Mondays and Fridays seem to be packed. This is not classical yoga by any means, but it gets the job done if you want to maintain habits and discipline. Of the instructors I experienced, I appreciated the instruction of Danimal and Martin the most.

Mima: and Hannah

Liza Schillo: Revising my review and removing a star because this studio overbooks its classes, so you need to make sure you’re there early if you want a seat.Excellent space, and Jenny was a fantastic instructor- she brings such a calming and reflective energy to the class even though it was a good workout. Love it here.

Megan Hardy: look up their bio before you book.

Molly Rose: Love! Studio is clean, bright, open, and calming. Especially love Natalie’s classes!!!!

Francisco Silva Santos: Disclaimer: Yoga Flow is a dynamic and athletic form of yoga, which I'm struggling to learn since I'm about as flexible as a door.Upon arrival for the first time, I was greeted by Leslie, who quickly explained how the studio works. After class began, I was quickly drawn to the attention given to each student, regardless of level, and to the quiet, calming atmosphere created by the voice, the music and the dimmed lights. It is physically challenging, so prepare to sweat and stretch muscles one did not know existed. After a good hour of exercise, the meditation at the end is simply magical and truly reinvigorating. I went back and had more sessions with Leslie and Martin and I can only say good things about each experience. The prices are reasonable, the environment is great, the instructors kind and professional and they even offer a week for $7 to start with. So, if you're in San Francisco, look no further for a Yoga Flow studio. This is one as good as it gets.

James B.: Very relaxing! This was my first time ever doing Yoga and the instructor was amazing! I will definitely be returning!!!

Hilary Magowan: Although expensive for just a drop-in class, the Yoga Flow studio in Noe is amazing. It is very clean - the studio and the bathroom, the staff at front are helpful, and all of the teachers I've had have been fantastic. I love the cool vibe with its great music and LED soft lighting. Highly recommned this studio. Great value for the new student week of classes.

Tiffany Phan: Absolutely love this studio! It’s clean, bright, and spacious. The heated studio is perfect for a cozy, but challenging yoga practice and the flexibility in lighting makes it feel like a dynamic experience every time. All the teachers are amazing. They each have their own unique style, but I love it every time. Highly, highly recommend. The perfect neighborhood studio in Noe.

Joanne Carlisle: I've been practicing yoga for 15 years and am a 500 RYT on the East Coast. Whenever I visit my brother in San Francisco, I make my way to this studio, and I am never disappointed. The instructors are warm, knowledgeable, and creative with their sequencing and the studio is always staffed with super sweet, kind people. I have been to a couple of the YF SF studio locations ~ it's the only studio I'll practice in when I'm in town!. Thanks so much for creating such a fantastic space.

Kara Miller: My favorite place to go for yoga in SF! The studio is beautiful, spacious, and really well-maintained. The booking system and class schedule runs smoothly and anytime I’ve needed something I get a quick response via email. Teachers are experienced and friendly! Highly recommend!

sunny grosso: this is a gorgeous studio that has flows under the radar, there are some great teachers and the vibe is modern cozy clean.

David Khalili: Not only is the space a beautifully crafted retreat, but Marc is an amazing teacher. I've been lucky enough to take classes with Marc and learn from his teaching style. His classes, and other wellness programming he offers is truly a gift to San Francisco. Thank you Marc!

Nitin Garg: I've done many online yoga classes with Marc and have loved each and everyone of them. Marc's passion and depth of practice shines through every time as he guides new and advanced students to adapt the practice to their body. He creates a safe and inviting space where students can feel comfortable but yet further their personal growth. Thank you Marc for being an awesome teacher!

Jason Pacheco: Mukunda Studio is an amazing yoga retreat and studio on Folsom St. in San FranciscoMarc is the best yoga instructor, I have ever practiced with. He is knowledgeable, empathetic, and teaches with kindness. So much to learn from him. His classes are good for beginners to those that have practiced for many years. I am happy to be a part of the Mukunda Yoga community.

Eva Velez: , the comfy and inviting lounge area with all sorts of tea selections, even the bathrooms feel luxuruous. Best of all, the warmth that Mukunda, himself, radiates and his attentiveness to ensure all your needs are met is just beyond anything I could expect anywhere else. I'm already thinking about the next time I could use this space.

Heather Chen: Love this spot so much! I’ve been going to Yoga Phamily classes at it’s old location in the mission until the location closed during the pandemic. They recently moved to Mukunda and honestly this studio is absolutely beautiful. It’s so clean and spacious, and the studio owner Marc is super nice! I would recommend anyone trying yoga for the first time, or looking for a place to continue their practice, to come check out the studio.

Abinaya Swaminathan: I was here for a Yoga therapy module assessment and graduation. Firstly the course was amazing. There’s was clear communication about the schedule and what we should be expecting on arrival. The institute is well maintained, there’s a lot of room for training student, clients who come for sessions or therapy. A mask is mandatory. There’s a tshirt and book shop as well. As a part of program they cooked us a vegan meal it was healthy and delicious. They provide a lot of TTCs and therapy courses accredited by IYAT & YA.

Aleksandra Kleymenova: I really liked this yoga studio, especially heated yoga is the best. Sometimes its just really crowded, and there is no own space. And if its your first class you get rent a yoga-mat for free or you can actually buy one. Overall 👍🏻

Lotika Gulvadi: I enjoy this yoga studio as all their instructors are lovely and the classes are geared for a good work out. Their 12-1pm class is a perfect time for those who work and parents who can get in some exercise while kids are at school. I do wish they had more affordable rates though for their class packs or unlimited class memberships.

Grace Nicolas -Kim: My favorite yoga studio in SF. I love all the instructors at this location . I usually take Neil’s class . His class is intense , combination of meditation and core workout with his amazing live drumming rhythm. I feel rejuvenated and re-energized after his class . Usually his class is packed with many people so if you mind having too many people around you , this is not the right class for you.

John Gallion: This studio is a class operation front desk personnel are extremely helpful on top of that they have a some of the best yoga teachers in San Francisco

Susanne Millar: I've been going to SF Yoga Flow for 5 or 6 years now and I just love this business, their space, and their teachers.I took from Neil Wadhawan again today and he is so amazing. He practices a very strong, solid flow that is interspersed with some philosophy, some music, and encouragement and humor. The space is in this old San Francisco ballroom and it's so beautiful and peaceful.Beware, this is HOT yoga! Not bikram, but the room is heated. You should bring a face towel at a bare minimum and a big bottle of water.

Nadi Sergeevna: the best teacher Rashelle Banares! I appreciate you

Chrissy F: One of the most beautiful studios I have seen, and extremely welcoming. There is something so warm and humble about everyone there and it makes learning/practicing yoga so fun and not intimidating at all. I no longer live in the area and will miss practicing at this studio so much!

Angelina Harvey: Yoga Flow SF - Ocean Yoga has a helpful staff, friendly members, and teachers that lead challenging classes in a gentle way to accommodate all levels. I strongly recommend trying their $40 special for a month of unlimited classes.

Pamela Naomi: I. LOVE. Yoga Flow SF - Ocean. YOGA. LA. seriously. the studio is stunning, the owners and instructors are soooo genuine and down to earth, the change rooms are beautiful and the classes are amazing. if possible, i'd go every day. love it love it love it.

Margarita Novoa: Beautiful studio, welcoming community, and great teachers!

Jennifer Siu: I have been practicing at Love Story Yoga for a few years now. They have good challenging, fast paced flows and great playlists. Some of the classes can get pretty packed, hot and sweaty, but there's something beautiful about moving together in the same space

Ron Arbel: My Love Story class left me with one of the most holistically complete body feelings afterwards. I found the experience challenging and engaging, in an energetic room filled with new comers and seasoned community members alike. If you’re looking to connect with a committed group, there’s no better place in SF!

Kathy Kang: Loved my experience at Love Story. I'm new to yoga and found the class I took welcoming and challenging. As a runner, I appreciate going to Love Story classes to dive deep into slower movements -- and I never stretch enough. Give this place a try. Its a lovely studio that manages to be a santuary in the heart of the bustles of the Mission

Steffi Seefeld: … and their swag is also really cute :

Brian Gonzalez: I love Love Story Yoga! Huge fan of the space, community, and the cleanliness of the shower and locker areas. The Bhakti classes are incredible. Highly recommended to newcomers and experienced practitioners alike.

Ray Sumser: and apparently I was emailing an out of date address. Had Sarah reach out to help me fix the problem. She was super patient and supportive. The classes we’ve gone to have been well lead and fun.

Ryan Miller: Great studio for heated Vinyasa yoga in the Mission. Been around for many years and still going strong. Love you, Love Story!

C. B. - PhD in law: Excellent !!!!! Thank you Haley Love Juvamukti! Pranayama!

Damien: An Exhilarating Journey of Mind and Body with Paxtyn Montes at Love Story YogaStepping into Paxtyn Montes’s class at Love Story Yoga was nothing short of transformative. The 75-minute practice in the heart of Valencia/Mission District, San Francisco, was an exceptional blend of heat, rhythm, and soulful yoga.Paxtyn started us off with a harmonium-accompanied dharma talk and chant, setting a tone of introspection and community. The class then seamlessly transitioned into a warm-up, coupled with focused breathing exercises. But it was the long, single-side standing sequences that truly set the stage for a challenging yet rewarding experience. Paxtyn’s guidance through these sequences was a masterclass in itself - her unique instruction and variations brought a fresh perspective to poses I thought I knew well. The studio’s warmth intensified the experience, turning my yoga mat into an island amidst a sea of sweat, symbolizing the release of all that was weighing me down. Paxtyn’s class was more than just physical exertion; it was an energetic liberation, expelling bothersome thoughts and aligning me with the present moment.A word of advice for those who might struggle with background music - grab a spot towards the front to catch every word of Paxtyn’s clear instructions. And let’s not forget her singing - a voice so captivating it blends seamlessly into the class, enhancing the experience without overwhelming it. The music selection was spot-on, present yet unobtrusive, adding layers to our practice without stealing the spotlight. In short, a session with Paxtyn at Love Story Yoga is a must. It’s a journey of self-discovery, physical challenge, and mental release. I left feeling rejuvenated, and I’m already planning my next visit. Paxtyn Montes, you’ve earned a returning yogi in me!

Wu Wai Choong: Love the dedication of the instructors here. Great that they have early morning classes

Cloe Newton: Took my first class at Love Story today and it was phenomenal!! My instructor was a Paxtyn and I highly recommend taking her class. She was very professional, well experienced, and had a deep knowledge about yoga. Not only was it a great workout, but it was also a spiritual and fun experience. I will absolutely be back to take her class again. Thank you Paxtyn!

Mark Halesworth: On fire as usual. Love Love Story Yoga

Nate Truman: I'm new to yoga, and every class that I've been to thus far has been fantastic. It's a welcoming environment that takes its yoga practice seriously, but manages to not be off-putting to the uninitiated & novices amongst us. Thus far, I've only been to Wylie and Gudrun's classes, and both were wonderful.

Bo: . Only reason I am giving 4 stars is I get the distinct smell of mold in the studio. Best guess is mold might be starting to form underneath the padded foam flooring. Im rather sensitive to mold and can usually detect it quickly in a space. Id encourage the staff to please check and see if this hunch is correct.

Andrew S Klug (ASK): This yoga studio in the magical Presidio of San Francisco offers an incredible flavor of yoga that is wholesome, spiritually validating, and at the same time athletically challenging. Moreover, it is the home of a very special community that I am grateful for.

Emmanuel Massenez: love it

S L: Best yoga studio in the city!

Mickey Hardt: Dropped in for a 90 minute power class with Jennifer. She was an exquisite teacher, the class was incredible. Consistent energy yet well balanced. Creative and challenging yet approachable and flexible to each participant. Would highly recommend!

Shauna Graham: I had been seeking for an alternative studio in the Marina area when I stumbled onto this hidden treasure. I had some reservations about going at first, but in the end I decided to attend, and when I got there, I was really taken aback by how amazing the direct flow was and how immaculate the studio is. Although it seemed more like ashtanga than vinyasa, I really loved it and would definitely go there again in the future.

Amber Ovalle: In 2018 a friend asked me to join her at BYSF. I was not a regular yogi practitioner by any means, but the Baptiste methodology, a 60 min practice rooted in finding your edge and learning to breathe through it, is exhilarating. It’s a diverse community, women & men of all ages and levels all coming together to practice a moving meditation of challenging power yoga. I am forever grateful to have found this studio and know how magical it is to find your tribe. Be a yes, check it out, and be ready to grow through flow!

Violet Mason: Very friendly staff and great facility. Thank you Baptiste Yoga San Francisco, and Peyton for helping me out!

Brandon Sommers: Best yoga studio in the area. The teachers and owners are so passionate and friendly about all things yoga, as well as just getting to know me as a person, without talking about yoga. The classes are challenging, and in the best way. There is something different happening in this studio from others I’ve been to. I can’t even put my finger on it. It’s an experience, to say the least. I’d highly recommend anyone to check this place out, to see for yourself the experience I’m speaking to.

Nayha Dixit: . I miss this place every day.

Mike Kowalczyk: Sean and Jen have done an amazing job of attracting a team of teachers who are very much like themselves: kind, generous, humble and inspiring. The studio is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The community is inter-generational and from all walks of life. The best studio I've been to in 20+ years in SF.

Maria Pitkanen: This is a beautiful studio, highly recommend a visit if you like heated yoga.

micha kenneally: Never really got into yoga until coming here. The facility is clean and well managed. The instructors are great- positive, encouraging and enthusiastic. Baptiste a very specific flow sequence that’s challenging and more advanced. I always come out feeling balanced and renewed, not to mention sweaty!

David Rachford: I attended a workshop here and was impressed by the facility; lockers are available, showers, they even had bags available for sweaty laundry post practice. On the Sundays during the spring/summer, the studio is close to a picnic area where food trucks come in; for a good family day hang.Right in the Presidio; the studio is great for a hot yoga practice, and the teachers are well trained and courteous.

Upcoming events and schedules post in front hallway. Also sandwich board outside!

Kristina Lanuza: The Yoga Society of San Francisco is a jewel in the Heart of the Mission District. It is a place of healing, authentic yogic teachings, peace and joy. What is remarkable is how Shri Brahmananda Sarasvatī, Guruji, Ramamurti S. Mishra, M.D., founder of Brahmananda Ashram / Yoga Society of San Francisco and his devotees are able to infuse an old Victorian house in the middle of a bustling city with the same stillness and divinity found in remote forest Ashrams. I fly all over the world and yet, come home for healing to the Yoga Society of San Francisco. It is an extraordinary haven and powerful in its subtle grace.

Stefanie S: This is a beautiful yoga space in the Mission with gardens around it a fire ceremony every morning and evening and a great schedule of yoga classes.

Philippe Arbeit: Great studio with beautiful mirrors and hardwood floor, the teachers are all different and very engaged, excellent. Gets sometimes a little packed, but nice atmosphere!

Matt Dalley: We were traveling in SF last weekend and dropped in for a class. It was great and Maria at the front desk was awesome!! Will definitely go again next time I'm in town.

Jessica Altchiler: I had a wonderful experience taking Annie Carpenter's class. I was initially worried when I walked into a very crowded lobby followed by a completely packed classroom, but quickly realized this was a close community with a wonderful leader in front of the room. Annie led us through a thoughtful, empowering, challenging class. I also LOVE that the class was one and a half hours whereas most yoga classes are only one hour. It was an intense and inspiring class and if I wasn't just visiting from out of town, I would have definitely gone back!

Kirby Koo: Great teachers, lots of class options, and it’s CLEAN. Lots of yoga studios smell like sweat, BO or mildew, this place is tidy and very well-managed. I also love that it’s not insanely crowded and I don’t have to fight for a spot. Rather, the atmosphere is very inviting.

Chenyu Zheng: Clean, peaceful and spacious. Sunday 9am class with Annie carpenter cannot be missed. She is famous in yoga world and more importantly, she teaches alignment and reasons behind where to put your block etc. Prevent injury and build strength.

Martin Michlmayr: . So lovely to join a few classes while visiting with family close by.

Geoff Watson: and the class, which was Vinyasa Levels 2-3. Although not a heated class, it very much felt that way to me. While I struggled a fair amount holding some of the poses, the class was overall enjoyable. The space is generally relaxing, except when random vehicles driving by insist on blasting loud music. *shrug* Some things can't be helped. I will probably return.

Shibo Fang: , and the instructors I've had are all great. Everyone offers adjustments

Angela Trinh: The area is spacious, and feels well-lit. It's kept clean. I love the occasional tea I partake in after class to complete my ritual and extend my contemplative state from class. I like that there is a smaller room and a larger room.

susan clancy: I like the layout of the space and its brightness. Also, there is a great variety of really great teachers & yoga styles offered on site. It also smells really nice as soon as one starts to ascend the stairs.

Jesse Langham: Really big studios with places to meditate before class

Michael Maslaney: Great instructors; intimate class settings.

Allison Schentrup: I love the sitting area in the back of this space. It gives this particular studio so much warmth and comfort that I don't find in the others I also like that there are two studios with two different types of classes going on at once. It gives some nice variety to the options available at my preferred times.

Katie Whalen: yoga flow SF is amazing! Our team at work did a private class there and it was fantastic. Beautiful studio, amazing instructor Brie!

Tori G.: I give this studio 5 stars. Very clean, spacious, and beautiful space. Friendly front desk staff, and above all, very friendly and inclusive instructors. The only thing I’d complain about is the lack of friendliness and manners of the students. When someone else or I myself have to practice close beside one another when the class is packed, I always give them a smile or say hello, but they all usually have a stink face. Also when we’re done, the environment suddenly becomes unwelcoming. No one says excuse me to one another, and just reach all over each other to get their belongings in a way that makes me feel like just hurrying up and getting out of the environment lol. This is not something I can remove a star for though, because the mannerisms of the students is not the fault of the studio. Overall, I will definitely be returning 😃👍

SR: I attended the studio for over 3 months. Overall, I enjoyed the yoga classes and the quality of the teachers are quite balanced. There are a few factors that made me give them 4 stars instead of 5.1. The music is usually very loud and distracting. The loud music really diminished the purpose of doing yoga.2. The classes are overall fast paced. But the sequences are somehow repetitive flows. I got bored after attending the studio for 1 month or so. Please add some arms or balance variations into different classes.3. Some teachers are a bit overly dramatic. One teacher played a Sam smith song and told us to close our eyes and champion the power of getting over a breakup. Hmmm it is a yoga class teacher, it’s not therapy. 😂4. Sometimes the studio is too hot especially during the hot summer days. The temperature can be more weather friendly.I might go back to the studio and give them a shot again. But please at least considering lowering the music and reducing playing the pop songs during classes. 🙏🏼

Lina Zhu: I went to one class taught by Erin Gilmore and really enjoyed her instruction. However, if you use Class Pass, booking classes here can be difficult sometimes. The window for booking closes one hour before class starts, which sounds reasonable but is annoying when you don't know when you will get home or get off work. They also only allow you to take one class per month before significantly raising the number of points you have to use.

Peter Then: Exceptionally warm, welcoming and professionally run studio in an amazing space in the middle of SF. The instructor, Leslie, was wonderful.

Minna Suh: More like an urban oasis, this is by far the best yoga studio in SF! Clean, airy and sunny space where you can see leaves glistening while flowing thru postures in a heated setting. Instructors are top-notch, most notably Leslie G, Tom L, Tanya C and Martin.

Rob Sullivan: Great gym and space

Lydia Simmons: My very favorite studio in the city. Beautiful space -- huge windows that look out over beautiful green trees. Skylight that brings in natural light. Heated vinyasa yoga with wonderful teachers and great music. I've made some of my closest friends from the studio; very nice crowd. Favorite teachers are Anna Hughes, Erin Gilmore, Leslie Gleser, and Tanya Clark. They offer classes in a smaller, non-heated room for beginners and/or advanced students who are focusing on the basics and alignment. I've tried classes across the country and have not found any studio that I like more than Yoga Flow. They also have beautiful spaces in Noe Valley and on Ocean Ave. One opening soon in Walnut Creek, too!

Selina Zhenni G: Great studio with amazing instructors!

Amanda Labrado: Its held in an atrium! Choose a spot below a glass vaulted ceiling.

Julia Santucci: I loveeeee Yoga Flow. They are my fav studio in SF and over the years I have been a fan of several of the teachers, in particular: Erin Gilmore. I would join her 6am friday classes and sunday evening classes, they started my day right and ended my weekend beautifully. The light that comes through that gorgeous studio is so unique too. If you are in SF looking for a fabulous yoga session, this is your place!! Thank you YF 3

Scott Shope: Such a lovely space. I have gone here for years and have liked all the teachers. You get a good work out. Warm

Daniel DiChiro: , I like to think I have a good understanding of quality yoga. The yoga provided at Yoga Flow is of the highest quality. Legendary teachers, inclusive community, beautiful studio... I can not say enough good things about this place. Thanks for all the phenomenal classes!

Alexander Rode: . Also there were some celebrations from nearby retreats that caused a bit of noise in the evenings, but this was nobody's fault.Great: 3 teachers

Vivian Wang: Positive:QualityThe teachers at Satori Yoga are amazing. You can tell they put in time to offer high quality classes that leave the students wanting more!

P Taylor: Excellent vinyasa class with Jennie Hayes. Clean and quiet studio, I will definitely go back!

Jeremy Emmerson: Great place to practice. Good mix of yoga and meditation!! Felt welcome as an out of town yogi!

Samira Imanian: Nice yoga studio tucked away in FiDi - not the newest or most outside sound-proof of facilities, but the classes make up for it! One larger studio and one smaller one that is also used for meditation, bathrooms and changing rooms, and it also looks like a massage therapy room as well. Great teachers with plenty of different styles of yoga. I have tried the alignment and regular vinyasa and yoga tune up so far and have been pleased. They have all the supplies that you need for the class complimentary and can rent a mat for $2.

Loriana Di Gino: I found Satori because I work close-by and a colleague introduced me to the studio. I absolutely love Jennie's class. Her classes are always challenging and she encourages you to push harder each week. I also love that she starts by talking a little bit about astrology. I now go at least once a week!

Lisa Johnson: Really love the challenging classes and flow. Not too much fluff. Not over the top with a boat load of products they are selling. Just straight up good yoga.So happy I work close by!

Kandace Espinosa: I am so thrilled to have found Satori! They offer so many time options that I can always make it to a class. Pricing is very reasonable. Its very convenient if you work in, or near, the financial district. And the teachers are top-notch. I would describe Satori as more true to yoga than the other "fitness" focused locations around the area. My favorite teacher is Rea Zambo. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the practice which is apparent in her instruction, and her warm & welcoming personality keeps me going back. I always leave her classes feeling uplifted.

Ilaria: I was in San Francisco for a couple of days and I purchased a trial package. I had a wonderful time. The school is well organised and offers classes to all levels, at any time of the day. Teachers are professionals. The atmosphere is very relaxing.

ioanna tziri: Great friendly zen place. Loved all classes I have taken so far. Thank you!

Rikki Hu: . I am a beginner myself, but can already say that this studio has increased my love for yoga tremendously.

Kristina G: Lovely studio in the FiDi with a schedule that works perfectly for busy professionals. Satori also impressed me with the variety of classes from meditation to power yoga, there’s something for everyone and every practice. Highly recommend this studio!

Colorado Reed: The ceiling in the "big room" is beautiful and calming.

Corina Gomez: I started Yoga at this studio, I love yoga because of Satori.

Clay Moran: Class itself was great. Studio itself is a beautiful space. Had a small problem with a cancelled class and refund, which was then followed up and reconciled.

Jermaine Ellis (901cali): Excellent Location, excellent staff. Excellent classes. Plenty of street parking. Came to this location for a yin yoga class and I left feeling like a brand-new person. Class was very small and the instructor was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

Ross Dempsey: A really well lit, clean and relaxing studio.I am new to yoga took a class with Michael who clearly explained each move.I really enjoyed the class and felt relaxed and loose after.

Vanilla Sunrise: In town for business trip. I was looking just for a basic yoga class just to get moving cause I’m sick of sitting around a hotel when I travel for work and just work all crunched up. This class was a good time from my flight and included everything I needed without having to pack my own stuff. Class was different than I expected but was a great change to normal slower yoga. Gives you a good workout sweat. I really enjoyed this class and when I’m back I’ll definitely sign up for another class! I’m looking for something similar in LA when I’m there next week. I have high expectations now for these other studios!

Patricia AuBuchon: My favorite place besides y7 in La! They give you towels and mats everything you need… water cups and showers everything available there for free. Super fast great vibe and flow.

Mary Herigstad-Franz: I took a class with the instructor Adit and she was amazing!! It was definitely a hard class, but I felt amazing after. Adit was extremely encouraging and gave a very uplifting meditation at the beginning and end of the class. It was a truly magical experience.

Sandy L.: I tried the hot yoga for the first time. I did not know what to bring for the class and even did not know the most basic thing but luckily students and staff are friendly and welcoming. This place is very convenient for people work in FiDi. The confined space is understandable considering the housing price and crazy rent in this hood.As a beginner, I wish there would be option to learn the basic steps in some class.

Sean Tracy: Ritual hot yoga is amazing. Take a class with Kelly and your body and mind will thank you. She's driven and motivated to help each person succeed. Her energy is contagious and will bring you back for another ritual hot session!! ❤️

Yani Lee: Friendly teacher and upbeat music. Maybe the classes are not for the beginners, need some level of experience.

Dasha Tsenter: - it is a serious workout, so don't get disappointed if your body doesn't allow you to get to a lot of poses- it is dark in the room during class

Avi: Love this place, these people, this flow 🤙🏼

Trip Hosley: I love it, tight space but a fantastic staff and super convenient. Fast pace hot yoga work out, in and out in 50 minutes. It's perfect for me

Liza Pomerantz: I love this studio so much. It’s so welcoming to any new yogis. I also love everything about the ritual class: loud upbeat music, dark/candle-lit studio, two teachers per class one providing hands on assists, massages during opening and closing meditations, cold eucalyptus towels during savasana. If you’re a true traditional yogi, you probably won’t like their spin on the practice, but if you’re open to new types of yoga, it’s amazing. It also is fast paced and can sometimes take 2-3 classes to really understand how it flows…in my opinion though, once you get it, you’ll be hooked! I was a member from 2015-2018, moved away for four years and couldn’t find a studio that even came close to what they offer, and was so excited to move back to practice here again.

Cindy Astorga: Before I started to work here, I have been to many other yoga studios before. In San Francisco there is a grip of them and each one has its own personality. But I have to say, that the Ritual style is truly a well rounded unique experience. I don’t want to give it away but it does feel like you entered a different world holding a safe space to enter within yourself and start healing within. And it all starts as soon as you enter the studio.

Acarie Sadang: I love the whole Ritual Crew in Soma, the teachers are my cheerleaders and honestly, it's a good release after a long day. I highly recommend for beginners because we were all once a beginner and it doesn't matter as long as you keep moving and breathing to the beat. ;

Kyle Dowling: Love this studio! Great instructors, good vibes, good music, and great workouts!

Heidi Liou: . I'm glad I didn't have to bring a mat or towel.Highly recommend taking a class with Dottie, I loved her energy.

Eva Pong: Hands down the best hot yoga studio!Ritual is a super unique yoga practice where you flow to the beat of the music. First timers, don’t shy away after your first class! It does take some getting to the ritual flow style. I love that I’m constantly challenged by the flows and peak postures of the week. I 100% attribute Ritual to pushing my limits in the best way, I’ve learned so much, and now able to do some cool arm balances. Love the community and the amazing teachers here! 🏻

Anna Gostine: Best yoga studio in SF. Super supportive environment and catered to all levels. The class is done in low light and always has a great playlist. Seriously, the best 50 minutes you’ll have!

Linglong Zhu: Love the all inclusive experience, no need to bring anything, just show up. They have all the tower and equipments you need for class and shower etc. very continent. Taco Tuesday smells so good.Con is I feel the class is best for ppl who are used to their pace, it was dark and fast pace, hard to follow for new comers. It’s like a yoga HIIT class. Not suitable for ppl who have injuries, and I felt it’s was a bit easy to hurt myself I’d move too fast or do it wrong. They have TA to help on correction but felt not enough instructions overall. My bkg: I’ve done yoga many years, knows most typical poses, but have leg and wrist injuries. But the teacher’s voice was beautiful and the ending towel was nice. Not much massage though, it was more of holding your upper arm for 5s.

Raquel Araujo: . They welcome all bodies and styles. You get a warm up, then a flow that we reeat 4 times x2 for each side. 2 with guidance and 2 in our own. There is also a bit of an ab workout and finally more flow. There is a peak pose each week and you can see how much you improve. Levels are up yo you but they do from 1 to 4. I can personalize it depending on my goals and how my body feels. The music and flows depend on the teachers. For example, one will have more arm work and another one zero. They also offer yin restorative yoga classes and I use these to work through any pain.

Rachel Goldschmid: I used to live at 6th and Howard and being near Ritual was one of the only benefits of living in that neighborhood. Room is super hot, music is super loud, lights off so you can focus on yourself. No need to bring your own mat or towel. While I'm very glad I don't live nearby anymore, I do miss Ritual!

Grace B: Lots of class times each day, they provide the yoga mat and towels. Each class is unique, is fast paced and challenging, but energizing and healing!

adam lawrence: I want to make a recommendation to all who read this. This is a great studio with excellent instructors. Tip a little. I know most people don’t carry cash, but $5 is always a nice gesture to your instructor. I started going to the ATM where I can get 5’s, and started carrying during the pandemic and always go out of my way to tip cash now when I can, as it’s been so hard on all my service friends. Just a suggestion. Dillon and Sydney are amazing!!

Kelsey McParland: I have been going to Ritual for several years and it's been an absolute pleasure! The staff is inviting, friendly, and willing to help any way they can. The experience can be intense for newbies but I highly recommend sticking with it by attending multiple sessions and you'll be hooked. Members get one, monthly private session with instructors to work on form, too. Overall, happy to have this studio so close to home!

Denette Covarrubias: . If you're looking for peace, fulfillment , and a practice to deepen your intuition. Please attend!

Bodywork•Therapy Collective: Sat Nam🙏🕉What used to be called Guru Ram Das Ashram is a very sacred place to practice the Dharma and in particular the teachings of Kundalini Yoga.On Sundays they have a beautiful service where people gather and sing songs, do mantra recitation and bring their beautiful children together in this peaceful abode. This is just one place in the beautiful Bay area where Sangha is everywhere and we can find solace in some sacred situation where people come together to honor our spiritual connection.

Ethan Kennerly: It's been years, yet when I did go, I often had a deep experience. Kundalini yoga emphasizes explosive breathing in awkward poses. I wouldn't eat 3 hours beforehand.

Andrew Nolan: The best place in the Bay Area to do kundalini yoga. Period.

Brenda Raffaelli: Love it!!!!

Amina Zamani: Great ashram! Giving owners and if you want to practice kundalini it's a great intro place.
