Beth Borgna: We had Nick come over to our house to show us a variety samples of materials he recommended over the phone. He measured for custom area rugs and we’re so happy with how they turned out. Within two week’s turnaround, we ordered the material and the rugs were cut and bound to exactly to the agreed upon plan, delivered and spread. Even friendlier than Nick was the delivery crew! We needed help moving our bed and couch to get the rugs just right and they were super nice about it. You could just tell they cared. Highly recommend the team over at Abbey Carpet!

Old location was great for furniture and I came out just for their selection and was disappointed. Not worth driving out do your way for unless it’s for decor.

me: Great furniture and decor store for groovy rich people. Bright colors, 70's styles, and funky furniture. There were drug references written on vases, large $200 pharmaceutical pills crafted out of acrlyic, beaded wall art depicting a woman smoking something that was possibly laced, candles, 3 foot tall wicker bananas, chairs with optical illusions on the fabric, and things of that nature. For some reason, there was even a $150 "quaaludes" container being sold here.The person working at the store was not friendly.

Allison Moss: Schofields has been around since before I was born. I'm in my seventies. It is always meant fine furniture and fine service. I own one of its mahogany Federal China closets with hand blown glass lights. That particular piece was originally made in the 1920s and I bought it from the original owner in an estate sale. I still have it and they still make that particular piece. A beautifully crafted item with a drop-down desk and below, a set of drawers drawers with brass pulls.

He was not only very knowledgeable about the product lines but he called me back immediately after I made a mistake in the design. He canceled the order and made sure the new one was 100% correct and was cordial the entire time. I would highly recommend this store to anyone that wants exceptional care.

Harold Mosby: I visit Chestnut Street whenever I'm in San Francisco visiting a friend. Pottery Barn is a few doors down from Le Marais, our favorite breakfast spot on Chestnut. After breakfast we'll walk to Pottery Barn to check things out. On our past visit we were looking to refurnish an apartment. We didn't ask for help, but noticed a young man moving around the store greeting visitors and making himself available. He looked awfully young, like maybe he was a college student collecting some extra hours. The following morning I realized that I had forgotten to take a picture of a white sofa we were interested in. We returned to the Pottery Barn again to check it out in greater detail. This time the same young man approached us and a conversation developed. We found out later he was actually Pottery Barn's General Manager. His name is Austin Stephenson. The questions we asked required a thorough knowledge of finishes, fabrics, lighting fixtures, sofas, chairs, end tables and lead times. Austin answered every question to our satisfaction without hesitation. We spent some time looking at images on the Design Center computer. It was a very positive experience. Austin printed out an estimate of the products we were interested in purchasing before we left. If you want to see, touch, feel and experience excellence in both products and presentation, and the way you're treated, the Pottery Barn on Chestnut delivers. If you see someone who looks too young to be on staff, that will probably be Austin. I'll include some photos of our visit. One, or more of them might feature Austin. He looks like he loves his job, his merchandise, his store and most importantly, his customers. We're fans.

Kelli McKinnon: Great visit hands down and I have to say the store hasn't been running very well In the last couple of years. Turns out they have a new manager and he's all for the people and service. It's soMuch more inviting! The employees are just on it it's incredible! The new general manager they have is definitely over qualified in my professional opinion but he's so good!!! The experience I just experienced was out of this world!! Great Way to turn it around pottery barn!

I've been saving up to buy a sectional that I could keep in my space for a long time. I looked at different retailers, but the measurements often didn't quite fit what I needed in my space.I found the pricing at Zozi's Loft was similar to well known furniture stores, but better value as I got additional customizations and quality. In addition, I got to support a local small business, and the sectional was made in California.

I met with Brandon and he was an absolute dream to work with. He was so patient with me during the entire process. I have a hard time making big ticket decisions and he was there to help me every step of the way, all the while not pushing me to make a fast decision when I wasn't ready. He was so attentive by answering my emails on a timely basis, which there were a lot, and when I was ready to finally order, he was made it so easy! And the best part - we absolutely LOVE the couch.
