Jenn Hughes: March 2024 update: I went back because I was in the area and they had a much larger selection of furniture. Seemed to have most couch models and more. Staff was super helpfulNov 2023 original review: They moved across the street and this new location is much smaller and heavily focused on decor, very little furniture. Old location was great for furniture and I came out just for their selection and was disappointed. Not worth driving out do your way for unless it’s for decor.
Evren Eryurek: My favorite place to shop for anything I need for my kitchen and homeGreat quality and good price
Valli Horwitz: Easy order online and pick-up.
Milan Perales: Nice location, clean, beautifully organized and decorated. The employees are very nice and helpful. The only thing that sucked was that it's smaller than their original store. Not their fault I get that everything's online so no point in them having a huge store.
אסתי מור: A very nice furniture store.Very beautiful style and not heavyVery reasonable prices
Geo In Oakland: Great service. Straightforward sales. Sarah was bomb
Lord Vincent: i’ve shopped at many Crate & Barrels throughout California. Unfortunately, more often than not, merchandise i seek is RARELY in store, only online! I prefer to “cash & carry”.

Reo Francois: Good products
Jason Gates: Great Place! I’m so sad to hear this place is closing Permanently! It’s the Last Pottery Barn in the city what a disappointment.
Brian Obertone: I was looking for a large sectional couch online and by chance got to chat with Sasha, the assistant man., of the San Fran store. He was not only very knowledgeable about the product lines but he called me back immediately after I made a mistake in the design. He canceled the order and made sure the new one was 100% correct and was cordial the entire time. I would highly recommend this store to anyone that wants exceptional care.
MARTHA TORPEY: Of course my favorite expensive store.
Harold Mosby: I visit Chestnut Street whenever I'm in San Francisco visiting a friend. Pottery Barn is a few doors down from Le Marais, our favorite breakfast spot on Chestnut. After breakfast we'll walk to Pottery Barn to check things out. On our past visit we were looking to refurnish an apartment. We didn't ask for help, but noticed a young man moving around the store greeting visitors and making himself available. He looked awfully young, like maybe he was a college student collecting some extra hours. The following morning I realized that I had forgotten to take a picture of a white sofa we were interested in. We returned to the Pottery Barn again to check it out in greater detail. This time the same young man approached us and a conversation developed. We found out later he was actually Pottery Barn's General Manager. His name is Austin Stephenson. The questions we asked required a thorough knowledge of finishes, fabrics, lighting fixtures, sofas, chairs, end tables and lead times. Austin answered every question to our satisfaction without hesitation. We spent some time looking at images on the Design Center computer. It was a very positive experience. Austin printed out an estimate of the products we were interested in purchasing before we left. If you want to see, touch, feel and experience excellence in both products and presentation, and the way you're treated, the Pottery Barn on Chestnut delivers. If you see someone who looks too young to be on staff, that will probably be Austin. I'll include some photos of our visit. One, or more of them might feature Austin. He looks like he loves his job, his merchandise, his store and most importantly, his customers. We're fans.
Kelli McKinnon: Great visit hands down and I have to say the store hasn't been running very well In the last couple of years. Turns out they have a new manager and he's all for the people and service. It's soMuch more inviting! The employees are just on it it's incredible! The new general manager they have is definitely over qualified in my professional opinion but he's so good!!! The experience I just experienced was out of this world!! Great Way to turn it around pottery barn!
Ken Wong: 12-20-20:Open during the shelter in place! Very friendly workers! Thanks for being open and very diligent about safety.
