Natalie Reinicke: Stopped in quick for some kimchi. They only had radish by the time we got there which was a bit of a bummer, but still bought it. A little too sweet for the liking. Also picked up some jelly pouches and a green tea - well priced for those. Had a small chuckle at the Costco napkins and paper towels being sold individually. Some prices are a bit high while some are well priced and even some are steal. Cashier was very kind to us.Wish they had soju on hand!
Tara Taylor: variety of snacks, and have a great source of quality grocery foods. Love this spot!
Marissa Tran: Quick stop for kimbap!

Jaclyn: So happy to have found this little korean grocery shop! Good enough for quick grab and go stuff and korean prepped veggies, snacks, noodles, dumplings, sauces and other quick fix! Fair pricing. The lady there doesn’t speak much English but is very nice, just show her a picture on your phone if you need help looking for something !
Mr. D.R.: A small but well stocked convenience store that I would recommend to anyone that likes asian food. They have a great variety of noodles.

Carmen Peters: I was there in 1962-3-4 with my folks of course. Just as you walked in there was a three tiered metal display. In it were the dented cans of Campbell's soup being sold inexpensively. We bought huge fragrant Georgia peaches. It was a dimly lit store with wood floors. So what if it was 62 years ago!? That's my review. Hoping to get back to SF soon 😄 great memories.
Manny Ellison: Omg! I just had the best tasting sandwich in my life. It’s called the Bernal Heights and it has the following in it: Bacon, Crispy Sweet Potato, Avocado, Pea Shoots and Aioli on Toasted Seed Feast Bread. Holy moly this tasted so good. The crispiness of the bread and bacon with the crunch of the greens and then the sweet and salty from the sweet potato and bacon. Damn. I feel like the sandwich was created by a chef. I had a mouth orgasm . Best tastes evaaaaar
Abhijith Chandrashekar: Cute neighborhood market with an excellent selection of upscale, artisanal and hard to find items. The quality of meats, vegetables and cheese is amazing. Walking through the store is a quintessential San Francisco experience in itself. You can also get all the ice creams that they sell across the street at the ice cream shop, but as pints here instead. Be ready for higher prices though.
F Lua: Everything is the best of the best here!
Jessica Ruff: I visit San Francisco regularly and Bi-Rite is a MUST every time I come to town. Great produce, sandwiches, take-away meals, and chocolate selection. I love the plentiful local products and vegan-friendly options. Yes, it’s expensive, but quality food usually is and I’d much rather support a local institution than a box store. Always a pleasure to shop at the Bi-Rite😊
can dilikoglu: It’s a little bit on expensive side but such nice market and everything is good quality. Definitely recommend the Lone Mountain from Deli
Liz K: Convenient deli with everything you may ever need, groceries, flowers, wine and beer and more
Daniel Paik: Highly recommend the lone mountain sandwich, the avocado adds the perfect creaminess to the sandwich!

Kay Hwu: Cute trader Joe's... Has your typical TJ's stuff.. always a plus.Just beware that it's at a mall in SF, and the parking and drivers are a little crazy...
Hiroki Taenaka: Although it is underground, it is quite spacious. The parking lot is large and convenient. Many of the store staff are also nice.
David Yam: Affordable prices in general.. good quality products and services...
jon winston: The world's best selection of stoner oriented junk food. But don't go on Sunday afternoons these days unless you really like people!Thursday around four is best.
man Kwan: Good
Helen Falcasantos: All staff are very goodProducts are good tooTrader Joe's the love of my life since 2001
Peter Rapier: Great staff and selection.
Angel Abrego Lopez: Excellent quality
Divij Anand: As a student, tjs is located near my house and I get a lot of stuff from there. Super accessible super friendly cashiers and staff and it meets all your grocery needs
Benjamin Chung: Great place to buy groceries. Prices are the same as other stores. The only difference is that the tax rate is lower in SF than DC. That said, you have to pay for paper bags in SF, while in DC, they often give for free. *shrug*Some dislike the store being downstairs. I guess I don't work there, so the lack of sunlight doesn't bother me. Employees that work at both locations have mentioned disliking being unground.

rahman Mabra: Great products. They could be a little bit more cheaper. But they did cure my cancer and I am internal grateful.Thank you
Edwige A.: The cheese section is impressive!
Amber Zertuche: It's a special treat to myself to go to rainbow grocery. They have all the good bulk foods, the best produce, and so many vegan treats to try. Always great customer service too.
Jacqueline Tona: Best place for bulk and organic items. Oh, and the cute house things aisle. And SPICES!
Bill Appleton: People always make a difference, love Rainbow people.
B. Li: Excellent coop spot with a great selection of specialty products, especially herbs and house made olive oil.Would highly recommend it if you're in the area and want to pick up something like dark chocolate cherries or a local red wine. Also, notably a better spot to get certain spices like whole nutmegs
milagrosa khigenova: Best groceries anywhere in the Bay Area. Best selection of plant based cheese and yogurt. Wish you had a second location in Russian Hill pacific heights — since Whole Foods was bought by Amazon I live in a grocery wasteland
H D: Great grocery store - runs pricey but they have great selections on many things. Especially love their herbal section/teas and vitamin section. Appreciate the vegan goodies too!
Elliott Winslow: Rainbow takes me back.
Rebecca Bodicky: and found the power bar I wanted for the plane ride home.I was so happy to see that it hasn't changed much since the last time I was here, in the 90s. That's something! It was exciting to see that the bulk section is still the same, BYO containers, and that the layout hasn't changed either. I wound up also getting a hat and had a hard time choosing a couple of single cans of probiotics and kombuchas because the selection was vast.I can't tell you how much I wish this was a store in my city: it would take 20 stores to make up this one and it probably still would be as robust. I took a couple pictures just to indicate the 1975 established old world charm. I'm so glad this gem is still around. Employee owned and operated, everyone was helpful and seemed happy at their job.
Ryan M.: One of the best grocery stores In SF. Very high quality stuff that is worth the price

1John 2:27: , seaweed salad plus other fresh items that look great. Also available are a variety of ramen and some frozen foods/imports.I’ll definitely be back. Note: no soy sauce or ginger available here to go with the Kimpab chopsticks are though.
Michelle Nelson: , japchae, vegetable pancake, dumplings, and more. Simply the best!!
Silas Lee-McNamee: My favourite grocery store in SF with the best homemade kimchi and selection of Korean food.
maia tidwell: Yummy deli items. Authentic for sure. Love this place. Have been coming for years.
Noman Mirza: Good for basic Korean groceries.
Chelsea: We really like this little Asian grocery and stop here at least 5-6 times a year to restock on our Korean faves. It's on Geary just a couple of blocks of 19th so super accessible if you're driving through city. It's the best place in SF that we've found to affordably pick up frozen thinly sliced pork belly and beef for BBQ and a whole suite of freshly made banchan. They've also got a good selection of kimchis and frozen pot stickers. While you could probably get this all a tiny bit cheaper in the Easy Bay or Peninsula at a giant Asian chain market, this is best place for locals and its always great to support a small business.
Ky Wang: Head
Natasha Bartolome: Highly recommend picking up some kimbap to enjoy on the beach!
C. S.: Finally got my kimbap and japchae itch scratched. Lots of variety!
