NomadShabs: Great jazz bar that is now closed...
Priyanka Sayinath: Possibly one of the best jazz clubs in bay area! Great music, loved the New York jazz club deco and of course the drinks, they have some interesting lavender based cocktails!! Highly, highly recommend this place for all those jazz lovers!!Also, the street has some lovely stores. So do try to get there a few minutes before the show starts, to stroll around Haight street. Can grab a bite or two at bizza!
Ben Chute: My favorite bar / venue in the entire city. There's always amazing music, the drinks are great, the vibes are great, and the staff are really passionate about what they do. 11/10, 100% recommended. Check it out and support local musicians and business!
Silvana Lopez: Love Club Deluxe! Just wondering when it'll reopen. I keep checking the calendar and calling, but no response.
Aileen Mangan: Love club deluxe and so glad to hear they aren’t going to close. When will you be open again though? I have checked a few times and they still seem to be closed. Would love any update!
Leslie Landberg: Historic, enduring, first class music, great dancing and people watching, plus affordable and well prepared historic cocktails which are STRONG. This place is the real deal. Get your swing on here!
Sean Harvey: Best place for music in the city.
Romina Nuñez: Brilliant
Sky Orun: A gem of a spot for live music, friendly attendees, fun cocktails, and great dancers and dances.

TONIA CHRISTAKOU: We had a great time!!
Ed-G: Memories of this place.... I would stop by on my way home from work if I took the limited. About to close out my tab and next thing I know, JL was flirting with the woman next to me. I said to the bartender, I'll have another!l What an amazing experience.
Douglas S: I've been coming here for years. It's a fantastic room with killer sound. It's small and cozy and the vibe is incredible. They'll charge you at the door. Often special guests sit in from The Fillmore Theater across the street. The neighborhood is fine, Fillmore/Japan town. However, park in the garage but check the hours. The Japantown mall has awesome food options. Its often funk, groove, soul, NOLA. It's worth the cover. The caliber of musicians is super-high. Always a good time!
Victor Aguiar: Nice place
P Sand: but unbeatable vibe.
Liliane Howland: Walked in waiting for Fat Tuesday music. Needed a drink. Ordered Arnold Palmer special. Yummy drink and reasonable. Tuesday is Jazz Night. Bring cash $20 minimum for cards! Great band Gamper Drums.
Gina Hall: Best musical venue in SF. This is Katdelic, one of SFs greatest bands
michael crepinsek: Best blues in the Fillmore No wait SF Oh wait sorry Entire Bay Area Years of entertainment
Susan Zuzarte: The music was great, really enjoyed listening to such a high calibre of jazz, nothing cliche here and very friendly clientele & staff as well.

Raymond Kellner: is still the excuse that they are closed. Always saying a date they will open and never opening...this has been going on since before Covid, do not think it will ever open again, not with the current management.
Timothy Christner: I saw Alan Iglesias rock the house when a buddy from out of town came to visit… It was a fantastic show!
Matt W: This place is fabulous. Hot biscuits and cool blues. Great acts and sweet music.
Chris Roybal: Visited Biscuits & Blues on my first night in San Francisco. Awesome, little blues joint with friendly waitresses and good drinks. I was excited to see Christone Kingfish Ingram. He absolutely blew the lid off the place. Seeing such powerful music in such an intimate setting is a real treat. I unfortunately didn't try the biscuits, that's on me. Just an excuse to go back! This is a must stop experience for and blues fan. I really wish I lived closer.
Marcos Mussio: Top-notch underground Blues/Jazz music!
Céline B.: Amazing
Denna Smelser: One of my favorite venues around love to see Shane Dwight here
scott fortune: Top rated entertainment!
功前田: it's the best.
Mario Abdon Nevarez: Love the blues
Roger Vissgren: What an experience. In town, you should by all means swing by here. Well worth it!

Martin Cortez: Amazing performances , very intimate and a beautiful date night vibe. I paid 100 for a table seat and two cocktails.
Ang: Table fee applied
Dennis Mitcheltree: GREAT place for great jazz. Go there...listen and have a drink. It has a jazz ambience one can't find anywhere outside of NYC...except for here.
Bhumika Arora: Amazing band, good food, and chill vibes. Perfect night out!
Sameer Puri: Sensible seating for brilliant music and cocktails.
Fred Rea: Ok this is a Very Groovy spot for some nice drinks and very good music. This spot has a nice Vib to it, not too big not too small and a crazy list of wild drinks to choose from, you can order some bite sized appetizers and they have an area where you can reserve couches for a party and your Peps. If your in the neighborhood stop by have a drink listen to some tunes and enjoy yourself.Tell them Fred sent you. 😉
Greg Kushmerek: A lively venue with a love of good music and good times
Samuel DeKlerk: Great music, great food and just so fun!!
Kimberly Wiefling: Wow! Musical magic! From the street the entrance looks like it’s a dive bar, but inside it’s magic! Beautiful decor, gracious and kind service, and the live jazz music was off the charts amazing!
April Zheng: Cute little jazz club which offers a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for unwinding. The music is good, the drinks are tasty, and the overall atmosphere is simply delightful. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or just looking for a relaxed night out, this cozy spot has all the ingredients for a cheerful evening.
Nicole Hadassah: The jazz was excellent. Food was lack luster. Drinks were fine.

Cody McCoy: I came to see Julian Davis Reid on keys, with the band Isaiah Collier and the Chosen Few. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!! Julian was unbelievable, as was the rest of the band!!!!!!!!! If you see them playing at Black Cat, get tickets ASAP- they kept selling out! Also the ambience and food = superb
Mariko C: Atmosphere: 5/5
Maria Demare: Phenomenal jazz bar. Excellent music. Expensive, though.

Rebecca Oreamuno: Jawaun was a great and super friendly bartender. We had an an antelope burger and vegan hot dog with vegan chili!! Sweet Happy Hour with $2 off the great draft selection and unique premium cocktails! Everything was delicious and everyone was welcoming!!! I'll be heading the spot anytime I visit San Francisco.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian hot dog, vegetarian burger option and amazing vegetarian chili!!
Christopher Pratt: . Fries sold separately, but were crunchy, hot and fluffy on the inside. Beer selection better than a lot of pubs, got a good stout that wasn’t just Guinness. Decor is mood. The red booths would not be ideal for eating, but there are a number of two top tables, a four top or two, and the bar for eating meals.Vegetarian options: Impossible Smash BurgerDietary restrictions: Vegan available for smash burger
Mathieu Perrais: One of the greatest bar in the area.Manager has so much knowledge and wisdom.Just go, eat, drink, listen.
Freddy Clark: Good beer list with a nice variety, thier rendition of poutine was tasty and a big portion, burger was well executed.Bartender was great and the overall vibe of the establishment was perfect for unwindingVegetarian options: They have non meat replacements on some items for whatever reason
Josh Montero: The best way to get a feel for any city is to explore its bars. San Francisco is the sort of city that's almost schizophrenic, so many different iterations of itself all over. For some, that's great, and others a drawback, but I love it. Shovels embodies that perfectly. From the exterior it has the feel of a real dive, almost sketchy, but like the city as a whole, looks can be quite deceiving. Inside, the bar has a throwback vibe that feels much more sophisticated than its exterior would lead you to believe. A well curated drink menu offers some impressive options, all very well made. Now, I get that a lot of bars don't want to mess with the added complications of serving food. Sure it brings in extra revenue, but also means more staff and a kitchen space that eats up already scarce square footage. Though Shovels actually figured out that really good food is actually a game changer. While I was visiting on a random weekday afternoon, multiple orders came in over the phone for pick up orders for food, meaning a mostly empty bar on a weekday afternoon, was bringing in more money than just the patrons inside. I had the fried pickles, which were the best I've had, and enjoyed them tremendously. I will be back, for sure, and suggest you stop by as well.
