Kiwi Canton: Beautiful venue for events shows and concerts. Bars throughout restaurant lobby and balcony.

Krishin Asnani: John Scofield was superb today; The most spacious auditorium for jazz in SF that feels unusually intimate : the program design, the band line up are superb, especially if you are new to a jazz ; acoustic quality from all angles makes it possible to hear the music swing ; clear views of bands from any seat;I am volunteer now ; staff is warm and helpful.

B Teal: I worked there for 6 years and was the best job I had as a security officer and would love to work there again but I don’t know what security has the company because I would love to work there again because the music is so good and I used to hear the practice and saw everyone come in and leave and if anyone knows the security company that works for them please let me know

Luana Helsinger: Heading to SFJazz is always a highlight of my week! This vibrant venue never disappoints, with its schedule brimming with diverse jazz acts from around the globe. Whether you’re a seasoned jazz enthusiast or new to the scene, SFJazz offers an intimate atmosphere that truly celebrates the spirit of jazz. The presentations have this unique informal touch that makes each performance feel special and inclusive, creating a welcoming environment where you’re surrounded by fellow jazz lovers. One of my favorite features is the bar that remains open during performances, allowing you to enjoy your favorite drink without missing a beat. Plus, the venue is thoughtfully designed with easy access to elevators for those seated at the balcony, ensuring everyone has a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The only hiccup might be parking, which can be a bit of a challenge in the area. I always recommend arriving at least 40 minutes before the show to snag street parking. Personally, I love making an evening out of it by arriving an hour and a half early and dining at one of the many delightful restaurants within walking distance of SFJazz. It’s the perfect way to start an unforgettable night of music and camaraderie. If you’re a fan of jazz, or just looking to explore something new, SFJazz is a must-visit spot in the city.

Eamon Byrne: Love this venue. Has a big venue feel with the history but small enough to see the stage clearly from the back of the crowd. Great staff as well. Definitely a live music paradise. Wish drinks were cheaper but they're reasonable compared to most concert venues in SF these days.

Doug Berwick: The Fillmore SF is a museum of music. Posters line the walls of all the acts that have passed through. This place has a soul. Legendary venue.

Jack Chi: The Fillmore is a San Francisco establishment grounded in history dating back to Bill Graham and The Grateful Dead.Spacious, good acoustics, tons of shows.

Alex Valenzuela: It was my first Mr. Big show. They put on a stellar performance. Their setlist was like 20-23 songs. They really gave back to the fans. Lots of admiration and respect!!!

michael che: It's still nice to be back but overdue for updates to compete with other similar places.

James Wayman: The venue is great and the staff is amazing. We had a medical issue arise during a concert there, and the medical people on duty were so wonderful to my wife, and I'm grateful for their care.

Marie W: Not enough seats

Cindy Hitchcock: Classic venue, short walk to the best of Japantown.

Scott Walthard (Scotty W): Great venue for concerts.

Happy Medic: The Fillmore is an amazing venue to see your favorite bands! Intimate, open general admission, clean bathrooms, what more can you ask for?! Park across Geary at the theater lot. Cheap and safe.

Francisco Morales-O'Connor: Very cool Indie artists come here 🤘🏻

Jason Boyce: the fillmore is a fantastic venue for live music, big audience area so you get a good view of the band, the sound is great, and it's easy to get a beer, unless you're near the front, but the tradeoff is worth it!

Cody McCoy: I came to see Julian Davis Reid on keys, with the band Isaiah Collier and the Chosen Few. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!! Julian was unbelievable, as was the rest of the band!!!!!!!!! If you see them playing at Black Cat, get tickets ASAP- they kept selling out! Also the ambience and food = superb

Mariko C: Atmosphere: 5/5

Maria Demare: Phenomenal jazz bar. Excellent music. Expensive, though.

TONIA CHRISTAKOU: We had a great time!!

Ed-G: Memories of this place.... I would stop by on my way home from work if I took the limited. About to close out my tab and next thing I know, JL was flirting with the woman next to me. I said to the bartender, I'll have another!l What an amazing experience.

Douglas S: I've been coming here for years. It's a fantastic room with killer sound. It's small and cozy and the vibe is incredible. They'll charge you at the door. Often special guests sit in from The Fillmore Theater across the street. The neighborhood is fine, Fillmore/Japan town. However, park in the garage but check the hours. The Japantown mall has awesome food options. Its often funk, groove, soul, NOLA. It's worth the cover. The caliber of musicians is super-high. Always a good time!

Victor Aguiar: Nice place

P Sand: but unbeatable vibe.

Liliane Howland: Walked in waiting for Fat Tuesday music. Needed a drink. Ordered Arnold Palmer special. Yummy drink and reasonable. Tuesday is Jazz Night. Bring cash $20 minimum for cards! Great band Gamper Drums.

Gina Hall: Best musical venue in SF. This is Katdelic, one of SFs greatest bands

michael crepinsek: Best blues in the Fillmore No wait SF Oh wait sorry Entire Bay Area Years of entertainment

Susan Zuzarte: The music was great, really enjoyed listening to such a high calibre of jazz, nothing cliche here and very friendly clientele & staff as well.

Priyanka Sayinath: Possibly one of the best jazz clubs in bay area! Great music, loved the New York jazz club deco and of course the drinks, they have some interesting lavender based cocktails!! Highly, highly recommend this place for all those jazz lovers!!Also, the street has some lovely stores. So do try to get there a few minutes before the show starts, to stroll around Haight street. Can grab a bite or two at bizza!

Ben Chute: My favorite bar / venue in the entire city. There's always amazing music, the drinks are great, the vibes are great, and the staff are really passionate about what they do. 11/10, 100% recommended. Check it out and support local musicians and business!

Silvana Lopez: Love Club Deluxe! Just wondering when it'll reopen. I keep checking the calendar and calling, but no response.

Aileen Mangan: Love club deluxe and so glad to hear they aren’t going to close. When will you be open again though? I have checked a few times and they still seem to be closed. Would love any update!

Bhumika Arora: Amazing band, good food, and chill vibes. Perfect night out!

Sameer Puri: Sensible seating for brilliant music and cocktails.

Fred Rea: Ok this is a Very Groovy spot for some nice drinks and very good music. This spot has a nice Vib to it, not too big not too small and a crazy list of wild drinks to choose from, you can order some bite sized appetizers and they have an area where you can reserve couches for a party and your Peps. If your in the neighborhood stop by have a drink listen to some tunes and enjoy yourself.Tell them Fred sent you. 😉

Greg Kushmerek: A lively venue with a love of good music and good times

Samuel DeKlerk: Great music, great food and just so fun!!

April Zheng: Cute little jazz club which offers a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for unwinding. The music is good, the drinks are tasty, and the overall atmosphere is simply delightful. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or just looking for a relaxed night out, this cozy spot has all the ingredients for a cheerful evening.

Raymond Kellner: is still the excuse that they are closed. Always saying a date they will open and never opening...this has been going on since before Covid, do not think it will ever open again, not with the current management.

Timothy Christner: I saw Alan Iglesias rock the house when a buddy from out of town came to visit… It was a fantastic show!

Matt W: This place is fabulous. Hot biscuits and cool blues. Great acts and sweet music.

Chris Roybal: Visited Biscuits & Blues on my first night in San Francisco. Awesome, little blues joint with friendly waitresses and good drinks. I was excited to see Christone Kingfish Ingram. He absolutely blew the lid off the place. Seeing such powerful music in such an intimate setting is a real treat. I unfortunately didn't try the biscuits, that's on me. Just an excuse to go back! This is a must stop experience for and blues fan. I really wish I lived closer.

Marcos Mussio: Top-notch underground Blues/Jazz music!

Céline B.: Amazing

Denna Smelser: One of my favorite venues around love to see Shane Dwight here

scott fortune: Top rated entertainment!

功前田: it's the best.

Mario Abdon Nevarez: Love the blues

Maria Barteaux: I took my spouse to this nightclub for a date night. It's the perfect venue for the concert featuring Broadway singer, Christina Bianco. Great seats for the show and the cocktails were good. There's validated parking for up to 5 hours in the garage down the block. You can walk to several restaurants and bars in the area before the show!

David Sayen: Beautiful venue with great service.

Amy Mclaughlin: Great small venue for live music, love the ambiance, good service. Soul Train brunch was a lot of fun. I definitely recommend this place!

Sherisse Taylor: SO MUCH FUN! WONDERFUL PERFORMANCES!

Ferdinando Penn: Awesome experience, great show, great brunch, AND it was safe all around Union Square as we took a walk around

Larrolyn Ford: One of my friends came here to see Sam Pauly, who I believe was last in six the musical , here and invited myself to see it the next day. There's a parking structure right across the street and with validation from the hotel I think it came out to about $15. This location is absolutely beautiful! Yes, it's inside of a hotel so you definitely need to go through the right entrance, and my friend walked me to the exact spot that we needed to come in through, maybe it's the actual interest of the hotel but I don't know. All in all it is absolutely beautiful as a space! Very close knit, but still comfortable. They have a QR code for you to order drinks and a lovely cheesecake. Since I was the DD I decided not to drink and because we were going out to eat right afterwards. I didn't do any of the cheesecake, but our two other friends who accompanied us did get both a drink and a cheesecake and they said everything was absolutely lovely. I can't wait to come here for another show!

Jim Curry: Awesome small club with super talented performers

Dee Nelson: My daughter and her husband went to see Liberace and Liza at Feinstein's at the Nikko Hotel two weeks ago. They enjoyed it very much that our daughter got tickets for her dad and myself to go see it with her this past Saturday. It was wonderful and brought back so many memories. Thank you all!

Larry Arthur Dahm: Love the cabaret entertainment

Gilbert Vendryes: The perfect kind of venue, small enough to enjoy the artists from any seat, and big enough for a decent crowd to cheer them up!

Matt Pagel: Internationally-beloved chanteuse Meow Meow may have referred to it as "some kind of jazz diner" but the secret is out: Feinstein's is the best concert venue in the city. Thanks to iconic Michael in the booth, the sound is always flawless. And the lighting is stellar. All other concert venues are forever ruined because no one sounds as good as they do in Feinstein's.The venue is so intimate that you walk away knowing how your favorite singer smells. You might even get a hit with nasty look from Seth Rudetsky, or nicked by an errant sequin from one of Broadway Barbara's fantastically high kicks.Never heard of the person performing? Not to fear: legendary tastemaker Randy Taradash doesn't let anyone on that stage unless they're a brilliant performer. You might not know who you're seeing on a given day, but you can bet they will knock your socks off in the best way possible.

Monica Tamaru Jones: Going to miss this place. Lots of great shows and drinks here

john mcmurry: Fun place. Alexander the bartender is just a great guy.

Michael Lomboy: So bummed Piano Fight is shuttering. The TL will miss you

Sandra O'Connor: Really great staff, sound though was painful. I still can't hear anything in one year from a show that happened last Sat. Today is Tuesday. Especially for such a small room, the sound was insanely loud. They were kind enough to sell me some ear buds, painful none the less. VERY loud.

Robert González: Very good atmosphere

Maz Bednarczyk: Super fun improv shows, very kind staff, and delicious tacos. What else can you ask for?

Michael: Very nice and strong drinks. Alexander is so sweet and handsome. Live music was amazing! I wish I knew how to sing to get up on stage

Zenobia Penson: New experience 😜 I liked it 😁 cheese cake delicious

Amy Liu: I've been going to The Sound Room for years now, way back when they were at their previous location. The quality of the performances are always top-notch - my personal favourite is Kenny Washington, and most recently, Fog City Swing! Every show is a treat for the ears, and there is so much love and passion put into everything by the owners. I come here every time I am in the Bay - truly the best place for jazz in the area!

Mallory Harbaugh: Can’t believe we have been sitting on this place! Incredible venue, amazing musicians, lovely staff, and a reminder of why neighborhood nonprofits matter. Keep doing great things The Sound Room!

Lila Shadloo: Beautiful place and extremely friendly staff. Food was delicious and there were plenty of drinks to choose from. Maurice Tani and the American Blues & Noir were entertaining and I would go back to see them again, next time they are in Oakland.

Oran Scott: The sound is great the venue is cool, friendly staff. But the drinks aren’t not great and overpriced, $39 /tip for a golden state cider & well whiskey coke. Definitely pregaming if I back for another show.

Joshua Weinstein: This is an awesome place to see up and coming artists. Basically one step before the independent. Good drinks and pizza also.

xXEvangelXx: It's a nice enough venue but it gets DANGEROUSLY hot in here when it is at close to full capacity. The whole setup actually feels a little dangerous since the venue is essentially a long, dark basement hallway with a bar at the end. Not much you can really do about that but I don't like coming here for that reason alone. Never had a problem otherwise, staff are nice enough and the sound has been good each time I've seen artists play here.

Rod Malloy: Great concert venue!

Jeremy Roberson: Best place to listen to music

Yashash Gaurav: We were here for Victoria Canal's concert. The acoustics were fantastic. Very crisp and enjoyable.Have a mini concert happening here.. Definitely go!

Monica Villazana: Warm ambiance and bar service was great. Bathrooms were so clean I forgot that we were in a 'bar'

Alyssa Thompson: Small venue, but it's all you need to have a good time. There's enough room to dance and a decent size bar. It's on a busy street with quite a bit of street parking, so it can be easy to get to. I felt safe and had an amazing time!

Jinny Gui: Solid small intimate venue for a concert. No public wifi or Mint Mobile signal inside.

Anna Wielosz: We chose Sheba Jazz randomly looking for good food with live music. The experience exceeded any expectations. The jazz band was fantastic, the pianist, saxophone, percussion, beautiful passionate music. The food experience was equally fantastic. I recommend the African menu, it was flavorful and delicious. Catfish was one of the best dishes I ever had. Very nice service too.

Christopher Seeger: Excellent Ethiopian food and the drinks are well crafted. Live jazz make this spot perfect for a pre concert starting point, mid point or last stop. Close proximity to the legendary Fillmore west and Boom Boom Room along with Japan Town.Parking: Garage is 1 block away but not obvious.

benjamin sonck: Amazing place. Fair prices. The band ”Eugene and friends” made our night.Greetings from Finland!

Benny Avalos: Place is cozy and intimate, with seating/ tables in the back and enough ground floor for people to dance by the stage or chill out in the back. Front door staff is professional and quick, servers/ bar staff inside are friendly and efficient.Bathrooms are maintained despite having a full house, which im sure everyone appreciates! First impressions after walking inband turning left is "omg how cute!"

Christenelle Diroc: MY FAVORITE PLACE IN SAN FRANSICO!!!! THE BEST OF THE BEST

Rebecca Oreamuno: Bartenders are so friendly! Great venue for a smaller/intimate shows.

Rachel Orrell: Really enjoyed Emo vs Pop Punk. It was a nice intimate environment for all us millennials to go back to our music roots and I don't think I ever had quite so much fun at a music event even when I was younger.

Hopingalpaca 617: cool

ShelleyRae OConnor: Saw MiaxAlly ♥️ magnificent.Venue was truthfully really nice. Already talking about returning.Venue's stage was small. Mia & Ally kept kicking the drum mic. Some seats were available which was nice.We parked at SFMTA and walked over, 15 minutes. Definitely easy to do. Car was super safe and so was walking. Not a lot of food choices, a walk to the taco truck and back and bless the door security, they allowed my burrito inside. I wish they'd had made arrangements for one at the site.

Patrick Balingit: Never been here before. The music is loud as expected especially near the front. Smallish venue. Bar is available and just off the right. Typical pricing

Kevin albert: Intimate venue with excellent sound!

J J: Along with the fantastic atmosphere & delicious food, you're hosted by the most kind and accommodating staff. This place is delivers mind- blowing service everytime, an absolute must-try if you're in SF. Enjoy a delicious cocktail at the bar while listening to the live jazz band. You WON'T be disappointed, this place is gem. Well done!

Hannah C: Good food and the vibe is very new York. I had a good experience but the place is feeling a bit dated relative to other great spots in SF.Recommended dishes Marrow Bones …

Scott Laine: .We ordered the deviled eggs and the steak tartar, which were excellent. The eggs had a hint of truffle, which, just typing this, is making me hungry. The steak tartar came deconstructed with toast and was mixed by the server for us; it was delicious.About an hour after we arrived, a piano player sat down and was joined by a bass player. It was the perfect sound for the room, and everyone seemed into it; that said, there wasn't much applause, but I always feel inappropriate at a restaurant unless there is a stage.I highly recommend BIX regardless of whether you have planned ahead or not. It's an excellent spot for dinner, drinks, or a little of both in a great space with exceptional service and delicious food.
