Maria Gabriela Soza: Camping 🏕️ for the schoo..my son is going to enjoy with he's classmates and teachers, he's last 5th grade trip...it has a beautiful nice view..Location: 4/5 …
Karen Aguilar: The restrooms were clean, no showers, we were there at probably not the best time of the year. The best times were booked solid so we camped in the cold and rain 2 of the 3 days we were there. The grounds are priced for groups, 1 can camp or up 40 with up to 10 tents. Late spring and summer are the best times to go. There are so many places to hike to and explore. This was our end of the year camping trip for the 5th grade and usually we would have gone the 1st week of May, warmer and not cold and rainy. I would definitely go again, with a group to share the cost of the site, plus it could be fun. Especially during the summer when it's warmer most of the time.Nearby activities: Beach and the rest of the Presidio, you can walk to Crissy fields and take a shuttle back if you need to.Walkability: We walked every day to different places in the Presidio
Ansi Taing: The perfect introduction to camping, ideal for kids and those seeking a relaxed outdoor adventure. Nestled in the beautiful Presidio Park of San Francisco, this campground offers a pristine setting and very well-kept facilities. While there are no showers, you'll find clean bathrooms equipped with running water and toilets. The campground offers a weekend getaway or a weekday escape, this spot comes highly recommended for its convenience and charm. Already thinking about my next trip back!
libby crump: Location: 5/5
Franck Vuillemin: 完璧
Alex Chiang:
Sue Y:
Rob: 素晴らしい名前

Beth Davis: . There were numerous downed trees as well which is an indication of how windy and exposed the area is.The camp site #2 was perfect. It has 2 large flat and level tent pads and shade. Less exposure to the fierce winds that blew non stop for our trip this July. There is m potable piped water
Trey Mitra: Don't forget to put your food in the or the raccoons will get it.No dogs allowed unfortunately.
Justin McCandless: . Enough flat space for two large tents at least. Water was out but they supplied a full five gallon jug. Site 3 was a bit more exposed but had views of downtown SF. We were able to get our jogging stroller all the way there without a problem. Had a great time.
Simon Darken: but the tent spots aren't level and there is no shade. Site 1 is private, shaded and more level than 3. Sites 7, 8, 9 are exposed and close to each other with little privacy though they do appear to have level tent sites.
Tim Brandt van Driel: Loved the campsite and the view. The park ranger even brought water to the site.
Greg T: Site #3. NO flat ground, no shade. ONLY the picnic table is on flat ground. Site #3 does have a nice view though. Site #1 or Site #2 are very nice. There is water from a faucet but it smells like "hose water". There is also an outhouse. The TP is nice.
Robin Holmberg: I am planning to go there and camp I am a amputee so will see
Tim Tim: Beautiful Campsite and Perfect View of the East Bay, Bay Bridge, & San Francisco. All From the Campsite. The Only Concern or down side is the Hike up the small mountain. Since you have to walk up the hill from the point where the Ferry drops you off to the Top is about 1.5 Miles and Mostly Up Hill. PACK LIGHT!!! We one of those Collapsible Carts which helped tremendously. However it was very difficult going up the Fire Trail since it wasn't paved road but all gravel and large dips in the ground from where the rain eroded away. Thank God for a staff member who helped us by taking our cart up the Fire Trail in the truck.Overall its Beautiful! Perfect Weather when we went August 21st.Tons of Raccoons who will come out around 9-11pm they are active looking for food. A few of them were determined to get to our food. We made some noise to scare them off but they kept coming back from another direction. They'd go down the hill and around to come up. We could hear them walking through the bushes to get to the other side.😂Tons of Mosquitoes too!At 7am the Sun comes up and Cooks you if your tent isn't in the Shade. I could not believe how Hot it was so early.
Darnell johnson: First time camping. Great spot for learning.
Mick Wedley: Great campground
Peter Rodrigues: Angel Island is a great campus ng destination if you can reserve a spot
Philip Smith: Great place to get away from it all while being able to have views of basically the entire Bay area.

Patrick Flanagan: It's a bit windy. One onsite Porto potty. Another vault toilet up the hill. Water available at YMCA camp.
Ash Sterlekar: Only 4 campsites. The Bicentennial Campground is located on Conzelman Road in Sausalito, California, 94965. It is a campground located in the Marin Headlands, which is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. This campground offers a beautiful natural setting with access to hiking trails and scenic views of the San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. There is small downhill hike to reach your campsite. Do get a wagon!Playground: Not do much. But lots of hikes nearbyRestrooms: Towards the lighthousePicnic area: Campground has picnic benches.
Alvin Amposta: Cool campsite with 3 spots!
Jett Jamison (Wildthing100100): Very fun campground, had all the camping neccssities with all the camping experience
Racheal Davis: Absolutely amazing campground. The views were incredible. Would recommend bringing wind proof jackets and a wind proof tent. Very clean and well kept, with a little meadow in the middle. Don’t rely on the portapotty though
Eduardo Penso: One more place to appreciate the Golden Gate Bridge... everything around it is incredible
Carly Storms: Just visited this gem over the weekend. Had the whole place to ourselves, great little den positioned in the mountain so the never hits hard. Great for camping and staying warm! Plus tons of trails to different view points of SanFrancisco Bay!
Aaron Conover: Great secluded campground with tons of hiking options nearby! Note that this area can get extremely windy, and temperatures can be much lower than expected due to ocean proximity. Highly recommend bringing extra layers for warmth if camping.
Ayami Y: Campers are required to pick up the permit from the permit box set up by the Marin Headlands Visitor Center, although they had ran out when I was there.
World traveler: So lucky to nab this place. Small campground with only three campsites, so would be perfect to rent all three sites for a group camping trip. No fires allowed, but there is a cooking grillThat you could have a small fire in. The view of San Francisco is only visible from campsite number 3,through a peek through the trees. It would be nice if the trees were trimmed back a little to get a better view, but I guess that they help keep the wind out of the campground. A lot of nice hiking trails nearby including the lovely point Bonita lighthouse.

Karen Gravereaux: where we painted 28 years ago. A lot has changed and a lot hasn't.There's fantastic views to be had, and lots of hiking. Wear sturdy shoes!
Miriam Arambula: Amazing for photos a little cold but amazing
Alvin Prasad: Nice place for tourists to take a memorable pictureRestrooms: Yes open public portal restrooms
Rahmad Jaya: Perfect timing
Selena Beers: Even on rainy days it was gorgeous. Trails aren't really marked, but it's very clear where you need to go. I didn't see any public drinking fountains or restrooms, but there were probably some up by the Holocaust Memorial. We just didn't make our way up there.
charlie compton: Very nice park, pleasant hikes overlooking San Francisco.
JP Waldron: Awesome views with allot of history
jmramos730: Great hike to Mori Point. Stunning views and some serious steep slopes out there!
Claudio Pubill: I believe the view speaks for itself.Restrooms: Restrooms are not open in the evening hours.
Pierre Guilbault: Impressive

thomas dwyer: Lots of full sun in some camps. Bring shade. Walk in only. Great beach. Very long walk for day use.
happy willow: Cool beach - almost got swept away looking at mussels, crabs anemones at the the sea cave! Hiking is perfect amount.
Darcy Vasudev: The photo is actually of the beach just below the campground. The campground only has a few sites which you must book well in advance. If you have a reservation then you can drive down, if not you have to walk down from Battery Spencer. It's an easy walk down but the way back up is a bit sweaty so bring water if you're going on a sunny day.Restrooms: The vault toilets smelled pretty bad and were not clean.Picnic area: Each campsite has a picnic area.
Eric Mar: Hidden gem just outside San Francisco with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and mouth of the SF Bay! 5 campgrounds, quiet beach, sea lions & soothing tide! Great spot for watching boats and shipping vessels going through the Bay. We saw a cruise ship as well!
Tina Simmons: Beautiful, secluded campground. The sites are walk-in only.
Ryan Hayward: Incredible views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. There are bathrooms and fire pits too.
Stephanie Dintcho: It's very difficult to get a night here. It took me 7 years, but I finally got to camp a night. Absolutely, love this private 5 campground, next to the ocean, and Golden Gate Bridge sight. The bathrooms are the only drawback and the only reason why I give it 4 stars. Otherwise it's 5 star. It's like no other place I've camped.
Keith Arthur: Such an amazing location right below the Golden Gate Bridge. You’d never know your 5 minutes from a massive metropolis. If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation it’s an amazing location. There are only 5 sites and each site is actually spread out enough you don’t feel like you’re on top of your neighbors like most other campsites in California.
PoovizhiPonnammal Purushothaman: Splendid views of the bay and the Golden gate bridge... very exposed and cold and windy...
ajay gs: Great view of the golden gate and very secluded beach campsite.
Warren Wright: This is a beach with an incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge about .9 miles down the hill.
Junior Brown: Amazing place with a beautiful view of San Francisco, making reservations is somewhat difficult since they are booked so fast. It is definitely worth it if you are looking for somewhere to hike or camp in San Francisco with a view of the bridge. I took my sports boat along.
Preston Chen: Amazing view as you walk down to the beach. Water is a brilliant teal color.

Ricky 10: Campground itself was really nice, bathrooms were also clean, it is a hike to get there, don’t make the mistake I made that I forgot something while at the campground and had to hike back to my car to get it lol. But all in all nice campground and far enough away from houses to enjoy.
Dalan Mendonca: Great campground for beginners. Short walk from the Tennessee Valley trail head parking lot. Has restrooms with it. Has benches and bear-safe storage lockers. Decent view surrounded by mountains and tall trees. It gets misty, so not ideal for stargazing. Of course, it's convenient to go to so many trails from here!
kerrie b: Funny little spot for camping - short, flat walk to the parking lot.
Queens Honesty: to trail parking. About 5 spots starting with #1 nearest to camp entrance/bathrooms stretching to #5 toward the rear of the camp.Very quiet @ night with active owls, squeaking trees and rustling leaves. Highway by Marin can be perceptible depending on temperature and winds. No Fire Campground - Will get very dark @ night. Moonlit only.🤘⛰
Lucas Leite: Calm and peaceful place! We only spent one night at the site.Note: Parking is approximately 2km from the camping site. If possible, print your reservation before arriving and leave it on your car's dashboard, as at night, only authorized cars are allowed in the park's parking lot.Note: As I didn't have a printer, I wrote my reservation number by hand and left it on the car dashboard. I had no problems.
Jake Jhakra Borchardt: I spent two hours at a vacant picnic table writing and enjoying the sounds of nature in the midst of a chaotic city and world. A beautiful area to retreat and "ground"

Kevin Boos: Stayed here for a couple months. Awesome staff and great location. Jarryn and Andrew were awesome hosts and always had a smile and a kind word. I found myself next to some pretty inconsiderate people who would throw cigarette butts on the ground. I requested a move, and they accommodated immediately, and had some words with the former neighbors about respect for the property and others. Great customer service. Great location. Wonderful experience.
Aline Tebechrani: Beautiful location! Great service! Made sure we went to safe places in San Francisco. Will definitely go back!
Simon Neill: Location, location, location! Stayed 1 night on our way from Vancouver to Disneyland, loved the view and throughly enjoyed a day in the City. The site is under new management, and they’re working hard on upgrades, so the facilities are not the best yet, but we use our RV bathroom so didn’t make any difference to us. The manager was very welcoming, and I can’t imagine you’ll find a better location so close to the city. I highly recommend this spot.

Arthur Ma: Bike around island 1 hour 10 minutesPicnic lunchFerry ridePleasant outingRestrooms: Excellent restrooms at ferry landingPicnic area: Good picnic areas on landing and bike rides
Timothy C: and stunning views of S.F. and the Bay and Golden Gate bridges.Camping was real camping — no amenities other than one faucet for fresh water and an outhouse. Everything else needs to be brought to the island with you
Lone Stride: Incredible views on a little oasis island. Great history and trails. Ferry is its own adventure too
Marie C: Beautiful island for a picnic or bike ride!
Jonathan Fadok: This place is magic! Take the nature hike to the peak of the mountain and marvel at the breathtaking views.Restrooms: Restrooms are clean and free
Olivia Farcas: Restrooms: CleanPicnic area: Plenty of seating, bbq grills, trash cans.
Victor Wei: After a short ferry ride from San Francisco Ferry Building Terminal, the start of the trail head is close to the dock on Angel Island. A gradual climb around the island at a higher level until we arrived at Mt. Livermore where a 360 degree view awaited us. The views were amazing along most of the trail. We then took the Sunset trail back down to the dock after about three hours of exploring.
Christian Filloux: This place is pretty cool.Dog-friendliness: Doggie heaven
Tania Segovia: Being my 1st time here, I took advantage of doing the perimeter loop around the island. This is a 6 mile loop and took about 2 hours to complete.Since we wanted to get back to Tiburon for lunch, we rushed past some of the sites. If you walk to each site, you can easily be there all day. Next time, we will plan accordingly. There is a cafe on the island, but I would recommend bringing your own food or eating at Tiburon. You will definitely have more options and enjoy a better meal. There were plenty of picnic areas throughout the island. Families took small tents and chairs to relax in the green field areas.Be cautious of straying from trail as there are ticks, so wear long socks or cover any skin before doing so.It was a beautiful day, and visibility was pretty good except San Francisco. During our visit, SF was covered in fog, so Golden Gate Bridge was barely visible.Bikes are allowed on most trails/roads, and there is signage of areas not allowed, but the bike trail will be nearby.I would like to return to see sites not visited this time around. There is so much history and things to learn.Restrooms: They are located throughout the islandDog-friendliness: NO dogs allowed on the islandPicnic area: Available throughout the island

sergio vizcarra: Special for a walk in the morning you won't regret it. It's not very difficult.
Gilbert Lopez: Beautiful place to enjoy nature, just not words, no bathrooms. Get ready to be lost, a lot of areas GPS doesn't work.....
Paul Dougherty: Its nice and views to the bay area. However its marred by efforts to preserve it which even casual human usage.Restrooms: So k restrooms have running water.Dog-friendliness: Pet bags and dumpsPicnic area: Not much
