Matthew Byers: The room is huge, clean, modern, and the bed is comfortable. Literally zero complaints for the cost. I haven't tried the bar as there are plenty of grocery stores in walking distance. You have a fridge so go out and buy a bottle, save your money for the trolley. Short walk to the Moscone conference center. Every kind of restaurant you could want a short walk away. I've found 3 tiki bars nearby.

Trn Kernoz: I had the privilege of staying here for four nights. The room conditions and hotel services were excellent, with no issues at all. The location is almost perfect, situated right in the center of Union Square and just steps away from the nearest cable car station. However, there's a significant downside - the noise. My room faced the cable car station, and I could clearly hear the chatter from the station and the noise from street performers. Unfortunately, these weren't soothing music but loud heavy metal drum performances. These started around 10 am on weekends and continued until 4 pm, making it impossible to take afternoon naps. It's a shame because everything else was great.

Jota Ce: . Our room was small, uncomfortable to open suitcases, but enough to spend a few days in the city. Small closet and super comfortable bed. We miss more lighting in both the bathroom and the bedroom. The bathroom, with a shower, is spacious and has space to leave your toiletry bag, towels... The windows are very bad and do not insulate well from noise. What we liked the most is the games room on the M floor with arcade machines and foosball. There is a refrigerator and ironing board with iron. Important: although fentanyl is raging in the city and you see many homeless and highly drugged people, the surroundings of the hotel are quiet and non-conflictive.

Beth: Great location, right next to the cable car and union square. Room was lovely and had a cafe right downstairs that sells great bubble tea.The room has a TV which can mirror devices and plenty of plugs in the room. The street outside is noisy, but that is to be expected from a city centre so maybe bring ear plugs. Would recommend.

Peter Magrini: We enjoyed our stay at Axiom Hotel over the weekend! We were attending a show at Golden Gate Theater. So, accomodations close to the venue was very important. It was less than 15 minutes to the theater. We also were able to park off-site less than 10 minutes away from the hotel! There were also plenty of restaurants nearby! When we arrived to check in, there was a 10-15 minute wait as the room was in the process of getting ready. We went to the room once it was ready. And found that it was located directly above a cable car track. Being concerned about the potential noise, my girlfriend went down to request another room. The people at the desk out us into another room immediately. This room was towards the back and faced another building. We were very appreciative of this and the night's sleep could not have been better! The staff here were very accommodating, friendly and caring!

Misty N: Only stayed for a short trip, no tub but it was a full size shower. The little coffee shop inside smelled incredible. Staff was all really nice. Room was chic and cozy at the same time; had a desk, coat closet, and mini fridge.Walkability: Smack in the middle of everything. Tons of food, shops, public transit, and bars near by

Bryce: Wonderful staff, from the Managers to room service and cleaning. Great stay, very attentive. Not a bad walk to Oracle Field. Coffee shop next door is great, too.Rooms: Beds were super comfy. Room was very clean and modern.Food & drinks: Mini fridge had a nice selection.

Ellaria Tyrell: I was a guest at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. The hotel is in an amazing location, and its guest rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely choose this hotel for my next visit to San Francisco.

Charbel Moubarak: .

Elisa Cavaliere: was delicious and they have a VERY good happy hour from 4-6 with half off food and drinks. Pretty much this place is fantastic and you should 100% stay here! Oh yeah and EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, the Bed and Pillows were like sleeping on clouds! We slept like babies and woke up so rested! 10/10 stay here !

Antony Savvas: A very pleasant three night stay, a very welcoming reception, a well pointed room for chargers, good air con if u need it, perfect location for piers and alcatraz trips, and trams, walking distance to metro, nice pastries and coffee served in the morning as part of your stay, and integrated with the popular Perry's restaurant which has a very varied all-day menu.

Heather: tub, but has very little natural light. The hotel is cute and located in a good area, a short walk from the Ferry Building Market and the Embarcadero BART station. As others have mentioned, there is a $20 "amenity fee" payable directly to the hotel no matter who you book with, which they justify saying it pays for WIFI

Terry WC: Decent restaurant a bit pricey

Chris C.: This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. It's very clean, with hard wood floors and a fully stocked minibar and snacks. The room was tastefully designed and relatively quiet aside from some occasional street noise. They supply ear plugs in the rooms if you're a light sleeper. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The woman I spoke to left the office and walked down the street with me a bit to show me where to go for the BART.

Ra Wi: You can hear the street noise and the nightly clean-up work on the street clearly. But it didn't bother us.

Giorgia Chirchiglia: , only 2 mins walk from union.Recommended

Louis Lombardo: Great hotel, nice and clean rooms, well located near union square.

Peter Matthews: + clean room, comfortable bed, and good HVAC system+ good location as it is walkable to Union Square, Moscone center, and Bart station- can hear a bit of external noise in room as the window insulation is not great- The wood frame around the bed is weird. Be careful or you may trip and hurt yourself- The sink in bath is very small and has a shelf plank halfway over it, making it a bit awkward to use the sink- mini fridge in the room was stuffed with overpriced drinks Hotel wants to sell you and literally no room to keep anything you would buy on your own.- Table in room is very small. There is a separate lounge for working more comfortably.

Nicole Bliss: This hotel was conveniently located and cozy. The rooms are small, but well laid out and nicely decorated, so it felt like plenty of space for two people for a long weekend. However, the elevator was not functional during our stay, meaning a lot of steps to climb with luggage. Also, the scent diffused in the lobby was a nice smell but very overpowering. As someone who is prone to getting migraines from strong perfumes, I felt like I had to keep the amount of time spent downstairs to a bare minimum.

Tim: A fantastic hotel - what people say about the scent is true this is one of the best smelling places on the planet. Breakfast gets the job done, ok coffee and good croissants. Rooms are good size and comfy bed and pillows. No shower door or barrier in bathroom so very intimate, but other rooms may be different. Pretty quiet after midnight we had no trouble sleeping 7 hours uninterrupted.

Adam Saltan: An exceptional hotel in the center of the city, pretty and charming. The Palihotel San Francisco is probably my favorite hotel in the world. It is unique, with its own character and soul, offering a lot of charm. The hotel is stylish, modern and very well decorated. The rooms are of good taste, clean, comfortable, and big enough. The bathrooms are great, with walk-in showers and nice soaps from Diptyque.Location is great too, right next to Union Square, enabling you to travel around very easily. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel too, which is very convenient. Regarding safety, I felt safe going out even being alone as it’s in a good area of the neighbourhood. It is my second stay here, and I’m sure I’ll come again.

Leslee Watt: Small rooms, but clean, charming, and very friendly staff. Good pastries in the mornings and a great location right on the cusp of that epic San Fran grit.

Mit dem Auto ist man auch schnell am den Piers.Food & drinks: Es gibt ein akzeptables Frühstück mit Bagels, Muffins, Porridge und Croissants.

magali harikiopoulo: Great to stay hereSafety: SafeWalkability: Easy Access

Christina Schultz: This hotel is in a more quiet neighbor which I felt very comfortable walking around by myself. It's within walking distance from several more touristy areas and very close to a variety of food options.Regarding the hotel itself, I was upgraded from a King bedroom to a suite which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy with great pillows. The complementary breakfast is basic continental breakfast which is set up as a "grab-n-go" station next to the check in desk. It was super nice they had coffee and drinks available in the lobby all day.

Julie Ward: We visit San Francisco quite a bit, and have stayed all over the City, but we keep coming back to Hotel Del Sol. Our kids loved it when they were little and we love it just as much now that they're in college and we're on our own. It's bright, cheerful, comfortable and clean. The staff is excellent, very welcoming. The gated courtyard and secure parking makes it feel cozy and safe, even though the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. I loved sitting near the pool in the morning with my coffee and chatting with other guests around the firepit at night. You really can't beat the location-so many great restaurants, shops & bars a short walk away, as well as the beautiful Presidio Tunnel Tops park. We loved wandering around the neighborhood, finding our favorite corner store to buy wine & snacks and stopping by a great old-school bar next to the Presidio to watch a Giants game. Hotel Del Sol is a fantastic home base in SF!

Matthew Sundt: Location was idealRooms: Room 101 was convenient.Walkability: Perfect location relative to all of Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow and Marina district.

Dave “D Mac” Mac: The people at the SF Bird Hotel were knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend them.

Mrs. Mango: I forgot to take pics of the place because I was fascinated by all the birds they had there. However I didn't go there to leave my bird , I was looking for toys. Which thankfully they have safe toys for birds. The moment I put in the toy in my baby's cage they went to work . They loved it and I will be buying more and hopefully using the birds hotel services at some point when I go on vacay. I feel the staff really love birds and that means the world to me

Jeff Hammel: Lots of happy birds 🐦 🐦‍⬛ and staff that love them ❤️

Vikkster: This is a wonderful place to board your birds. They are big bird experienced. The owner and staff are very caring. Excellent value. Nice big cages for the big birds. Excellent hours. I drive 35 min to take my birds there so that means the drive is well worth it.

Ashiq Lakhani: The bird hotel is amazing! They took care of our conure, Coco, like she was their own, and she made some friends during her stay! When we missed her on our vacation, the crew sent us a photo of her having an amazing time. They treated her like family, and we can never leave our baby bird anywhere else again. Thank you so much!

Karin Novak: The SF bird hotel and its staff are absolutely incredible. They're knowledgeable, caring, extremely professional and trustworthy. My parrot LOVES coming here and starts doing his excited squeaks when we walk through the door.Special shout out to the staff that takes care of the birds here. Whether my parrot stays for weeks or just a weekend, I know he's in good hands with them.

Grace Foree: This place is great. The staff is dedicated and love the birds. When my cockatiel passed from a tumor complication while staying with them, the staff called the vet, made him comfortable, and then decorated a tiny box to hold his body after he passed away. When I moved to Hawaii they kept my macaw for four months while I looked for a place to live, then delivered her to the airport when it was time for her to join me.I can't imagine trusting anyone with my birds as much as I trust them.

Forrest Stone: This is a great business with great people working there. You can truly tell they care about the birds. I always feel safe leaving my birds with the staff. It is also fun to take a walk around the rooms and see all the different birds.

Gabriela Soriano: I went to check out this bird hotel in SF , and it’s very good and friendly place . Unfortunately my fly was canceled and I don’t have the chance to leave my birds at the hotel, but I’m 100% sure that my birds will be more than happy to stay at the Birds hotel in San Francisco

Tenzin Subhar: Amazing experience and exceptional front desk service, especially front desk manager Ashley, she was so helpful, kind and though. When she found out it was our son’s Birthday weekend, she made it extra special by sending him a personal birthday card and a gift. Everyone in the hotel was so nice and helpful, very clean and the location was close to everything especially the cable cars. Loved it here and will definitely visit again.

Vinny T: Just a fantastic stay at this hotel last week from Tue to Friday. From Jane at the front desk to the room service staff, they were all extremely helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable bedding, quiet AC. As a Marriott Platinum member I was made to feel special during the check-in. Definitely a benchmark for other Marriott properties.

DvGns DG: This place was really good I am kinda late to review this place but I was obsessed with the lobby and the pool. Once in a while they put movies for kids to watch in the pool and its old class made the whole hotel chic.

J. R.: , excellent service, the individual petit sandwiches were delicious and the desserts provided were nicely displayed and tasty. Beware, just the tea service will run you $65 each. We purchased a bottle of Chandon sparkling wine and that added another $75 to our tab, plus the Palace valet parking is another $30

The Simple Travels: Situated in the financial district of San Francisco the hotel is easy to get to from the airport via the BART Montgomery St Station. While the Palace Hotel is a fantastic overall hotel, the crown jewel is indeed the Garden Court. Situated in the heart of the hotel, enjoy breakfast from the menu or from the buffet or have lunch or tea.Visit the Pied Piper Restaurant to see the famous painting and visited the small mini museum of keepsakes from hotel past. The hotel staff was fantastic from Juan at the concierge desk to Yenny from house keeping. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and most certainly would return if/when we get a chance.

John Ko: Great location and service. Rooms are comfortable & clean but worn and needs updating. I’ve stayed here many times and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.Walkability: At the border of union square and Chinatown - easy walk to both. Also close to financial district.

Leo Díaz Longhi: Solid hotel. You won't miss anything in particular and you won't need anything else. But nothing over that. If you want to buy something inside the hotel is super expensive.Elevators are slow. It's a tall building.Rooms: Solid and comfortable rooms. Shows the wear of some time but they still are ok.Nearby activities: Middle of SF. Everything starts here. The beach is far, but there are almost no hotels thereSafety: Homeless people are everywhere in SF. Lots of drugs all day long. They won't do you anything, but it is an uncomfortable situation.Walkability: You can't be wrong in the middle of the city. Pay in advance for the public transportation and you'll get everywhere easily.

FaHaD ALSaMi: The location is suitable and close to services, Macys building, Apple and many international brands..The room was very nice. I lived on the 26th floor. The view is beautiful.. the bed is comfortable and the hotel is quiet..

Doug Gordy: The rooms are really nice. They are spacious and comfortable. The king bed was a nice quality and the turn down service rocked. They have a really nice setup with the TV where you can stream a device to it, so you don't have to mess with the hotel on demand stuff. The tub was a small thing where you really could just use it as a shower. The shower has a shower head that is adjustable in height. My wife is short and I am tall.... It barely reached my head. It is kinda out of the way from the hustle of downtown and honestly not a lot of restaurants that I enjoy were near. The front desk staff is absolutely amazing here and will bend over backwards for you. I would recommend staying here and probably will stay myself again

Sangwon Seo: I heard that the Tenderloen area is a crime-ridden area, so I was looking for a hotel just outside the border, and I was looking for a good value hotel that was close to both Powell Station and Union Square, and came across this hotel.First of all, it was comfortable because the door was automatic, and the female employee named “yesha” was a K-drama fan, so I think she was friendlier to Koreans. I would like to thank Yesha once again for being kind enough to understand my strange Konglish language even though I cannot speak English, and I believe that he will be kind to other travelers as well. I spent a few days mostly sleeping and traveling around, but the location was good so I had no problems finding the accommodation. There were fewer homeless people than I thought, and even if there were, I just had to avoid them.I had a good travel experience. thank you

Sarava S: Rooms: Comfortable and practice for business tripsSafety: Secure place.Walkability: Lots of restaurants and bars around

David Nagel-Nunez: Very cute hotel! Everything is pineapple themed, rooms and beds are very confortable, staff is helpful, and location is great downtown. We did have a rocky start at first - the air conditioner in our room was broken, and they knew about it but didn't tell us. So we were really hot for our first night, but they did give us a little discount for the inconvenience and moved us to another room.Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay at this adorable hotel! One recommendation - in the about section in this Google page, it says that they have a fitness center, but this is not true - it needs to be updated!Rooms: Very comfortableNearby activities: Downtown area and very walkableSafety: Safe but a lot of homelessWalkability: Downtown area and lots of restaurants nearbyFood & drinks: No breakfast but they give you a complimentary drinkNoteworthy details: They have a cute dog in the room that you can "adopt" or buy if you want for $25.

Christina Krause: .the room is equipped perfectly. Very friendly and helpful staff. The neigbourhood area is "demanding" and "challenging" due to the soccal flashpoint of this area. But opposite the hotel you will find a bar

Aunika Kost: The staff were all very kind and helpful. The rooms were more on the small side, but very nice and clean. At check in, my husband and I were given free drinks vouchers for the little cafe/bar they had in the lobby. The only downside to staying here is the location. Being in San Francisco right in Union Square, the traffic and homeless population can be a lot at times, but despite the location the staff keeps the property, inside and out, very clean. The lobby doors also lock at 7pm every night requiring key card access to get in, making the entire building more secure. I 10/10 recommend of you plan on coming to San Francisco.

Monica Izzard: and given our room. I initially did not notice the room was not the one we had reserved as we were tired but after about an hour I realised and promptly went downstairs. It was then explained that the room we had booked was unavailable due to air conditioning problems which is fair enough and that we had been given a bigger room and a slight refund

Laura O: on one slice of sourdough bread. The menu said BLT on baguette with blah blah aioli...sounded good. It was not and the waiter then tried to argue with us about what a baguette was, then tried to tell us that because we were tourists we didn't understand. We aren't, we are from Alameda and just stayed over to go to dinner at HOPR and not have to drive home late after drinking...The calamari was OLD. Like fishy smelling/tasting. We had lunch for four people and it was $250 before tip. Lunch. We went to dinner at HOPR and paid far less for WAY better food. To make a long story long....stay at this hotel because its nice/clean/in a great location but avoid their restaurant like its the plague.Rooms: Rooms are super cute. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean and nice.Nearby activities: There is a cool museum/arcade a few blocks away. You're basically in the middle of the wharf so there is a ton of stuff to do if you're new to the area. If you are not new to the area, you will be sad to see all the old timer restaurants are shuttered

Steve May: Loved our stay at Argonaut. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the neighborhood felt safe. Great location for exploring San Francisco. Really loved our morning walks to see the Harbor Seals and grab coffee.Nearby activities: 10 minute stroll to the Harbor Seals.

Vivian Y: Excellent location and plenty of amenities. But I ended up having to contact the front desk a lot about things that I was supposed to have included in my package like free breakfast and late checkout. The room was cute, but more dimly lit than I prefer. The Jacuzzi tub was a huge highlight, but many of the bathroom fixtures also felt outdated.Overall, I enjoyed my stay and might go back due to the excellent location, but I'm not sure.

Kraig S: , but it did not accumulate. So, you were expected to use the hotel services daily and even with the credit applied, it was fairly pricey for the area.

John Imsdahl: I lived in the Marina District at 3670 Pierce Street for many enjoyable years. I walked to Union, Chestnut, the Marina Green, Northpoint under the Golden Gate Bridge, and even to Fisherman's Wharf with numerous fond memories. So, when I return to San Francisco, I love staying in this neighborhood, and because of its charm, little Bonnie & Clyde garages, and the floura and fuana, I must stay here at the Marina Motel.I have spent money on the Hyatt, The Palace, and upscale places on the Fisherman's Wharf in reliving my life in "The City," but nothing is really as charming as this little motel. If the Marina Safeway is still there, one can go and stock up on items for your refrigerator and not pay exorbinate prices for simple things like water, or snacks. Or, if the Day & Night Market is still there on Chestnut, or the little market on Laguna between Lombard and Unioin, go there. The most enjoyable and knowledgeable front desk staff await you.

Ruslan Kovalchuk: I had a great experience! My first time staying in San Francisco and the motel staff was so helpful and super friendly. I stayed for 2 nights and I was able to meet three different staff members, all super helpful! First night was nice young lady and she was super helpful! Second night was nice dude he help me a lot with the parking garage and went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you so much !

Scott McClellan: Quaint, quirky motel in great neighborhood. Clean and well maintained with a peaceful, beautifully landscaped courtyard.Walkability: Wonderful neighborhood. You can walk to everything.Food & drinks: The motel has no restaurant but there are dozens within easy walking distance with just about any cuisine represented.

Carin Wesslau: Location and presentation.Go there when the flowers are blooming!Rooms: DugligaNearby activities: Restauranggata i närheten. Gångväg. Trygg.Walkability: Nära vattnet, sevärdheter från världsutställingen

mehmet ozerman: Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was sufficient for us to prepare our large breakfast. Bathrooms were clean and neatly organised towels were ample. We asked for electric heater and got it but radiators were also very hot to keep the room warm. We booked two rroms and had one car. We parked it right under one of the rooms. The hotel architecture was reflecting its period and it was very good. Location is good if you want to stay at the Marina District. We asked for late check out because of our late flight and it was no problem at all. Staff approach was ''no hurry, take your time'', therefore very comforting. all and all, if I need to stay in SF again I will not look for an alternative. If the Wi-Fi had been faster, it would be more practical for us.Rooms: Big enough with all the necessery items in the bathroom and kitchen. Clean and comfortable beds.Safety: Witnin the hotel area, we felt quite safe.Walkability: Took around 10-15 to coastline and harbour.Food & drinks: Ample

Azura Jorda: One of the best hotels I have stayed at! I traveled alone to SF to visit law schools and could not have picked a better location. you have Presidio Park not far from the hotel which provides great green space and views of the Golden Gate Bridge. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. In addition if you want to go anywhere in the city the public transport is super easy to navigate. The hotel staff was super friendly and made me feel like I was right at home! Could not recommend this place enough and will likely be using it in the future!Nearby activities: Presidio Park is only a ten minute walk from the hotel and there are plenty of businesses to explore right on Lombard, Chestnut, and Union Street is not too far of a walk. In addition there is the Marina green space as well to explore.Safety: Compared to other areas in the city the Marina is one of the safer neighborhoods. The property itself is super safe and never once did I feel that safety would be an issue.

Michelle LaRue: Marina Motel is a lovely oasis inside the city! The staff are incredibly welcoming and kind. The courtyard is gorgeous and tranquil. The rooms are cozy, clean, and have many extra touches you don’t find in chain hotels. It feels like staying as a guest in someone’s home. Free garage parking is an added bonus! I was able to fit my large SUV in a garage with an inch to spare on each side. The neighborhood is clean and safe with great restaurants and easy access to the Muni. Highly recommend for a unique and peaceful stay in San Francisco!Rooms: Cozy, clean, and great views of the courtyard! Beds are plush and super comfortable. Bathroom is spacious with a beautiful shower. Kitchen is such a rare and nice bonus while traveling!Safety: Neighborhood felt very safe during the day and at night.Walkability: Easy to walk to shops and restaurants

eddie molina: I would never stay anywhere but the Marina Motel. The most beautiful, most convenient and close to pharmacy, restaurants and shopping anyone could ask or hope for...my opinion, 5 stars! Will always stay there!Nearby activities: Restaurants, shopping, bars and pharmacy.Walkability: Everything within walking distance.

Sergio Cortes: . Everything is walking distance. Cafe, restaurants, bars, etc. The room was clean and comfy. It was pretty quiet during my stay. And its beautiful!

Cherr: . View from the room was amazing; staff are friendly; quiet room. Considering all these things and weighing that with the $ I paid per room - it’s average in value. But! It’s still one of the better hotels in SFO. Designated at a safe street- No homeless/distressed individuals loitering outside.

Holly Z: The hotel was overall good. The lobby is quite busy at all times. The wifi was good, the bed and pillows were comfy, the AC was strong, and the washroom amenities were nice.Overall it was clean but I noticed some of the surfaces were not wiped and had some beverage residue. The area is fine in the day but feels somewhat unsafe at night, especially if you're alone.

Gigi San: Parking is expensive but they allow in/out..great location to attend SFSU graduation at Oracle Park.Safety: I felt safe-but I was with a family group.Walkability: Walked to various places since the hotel is not on a hill.

Spider J: . Although it is expensive, it is worth it if you are very hungry and expect to eat a lot of the eggs and sausage and other delicious spread. We were offered to

Elle O’Neil: , market on the first floor makes delicious lattes and chia puddings, breakfast buffet is pricey but the spread is extravagant. Good location - Trader Joe’s is within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

King Veloso: We had an amazing stay here for the whole weekend, the check in was smooth and fast. The lady who cleaned our room, she was fantastic! Making sure everything is clean new towels, new pillow cases, cups, glasses every day. Coffee grinds and condiments kit are also refilled everyday. The beds and pillows feel like brand new. And of course the ladies at the front desk they were all amazing, they were quick and friendly. I hope they will consider a complimentary breakfast here someday. But overall experience was great and would stay here again.Rooms: Very clean.Walkability: Have access to some bus stops.

Linda Hester: We had an amazing stay. This is a historic mansion with lots of history and beautiful artwork. The rooms are quaint but comfortable with modern bathrooms and amazing beds and linens. Breakfast is nice. The location is excellent for business or arts near the Civic Center. The area is clean, safe and nice - entirely different from the Tenderloin which is nearby. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance. Amanda was amazing and saw to all of our needs.

Howard Shin: , don't forget there are 12 different rooms all unique and themed. Experience has always been wonderful.Great location and easy parking to find nearby. As soon as you enter inside this Victorian building, you can feel the history and service to welcome. What we loved:Clean rooms, soft beds, felt peaceful, rooms having their own individualistic style, Molton Brown bath products, and service has always been friendly and sharp. We have no complaints about this spot, it has been a beautiful hotel and service for us. Great for family out of town or a weekend getaway in SF. Again, great experience!

A. M.: authentic history and art + better lattes than any other hipster coffee shop

Jason Gallaher: This converted mansion was cute as all get out, clean, and centrally located. The customer service was excellent, too. I got in extremely early, but since a room was ready, they let me check in so I wouldn’t have to linger in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again. Just a heads up if you’re looking for a place with a full restaurant and 24 hour room service, this hotel doesn’t have that, but it’s near so many restaurants that that was never an issue.

Sophia Liu & Henry Demasco: with several crates worth of wedding-related supplies, and their staff helped us bring it all up to our room. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and unique. Our room came with an amazing soaking tub that we enjoyed the morning of our wedding and best smelling toiletries we've ever found at a hotel. Despite the level of excitement we felt for our wedding we slept beautifully. The handsome writing desk was the perfect spot for us to write our thank you notes to our wedding vendors. Not sure why some reviews claim there isn't a breakfast? While the breakfast doesn't include hot items, the selection was great and of very high quality - fresh fruit, sandwiches, coffee, pastries, and we left happy and full.We look forward to returning for our anniversary someday!

Kat Ellis-Guardiola: This is a beautiful mansion - the attention to detail in the decor and service was phenomenal. Special thanks to Amanda for her hospitality and kindness!Walkability: The hotel is in a central location within walking distance of very tasty food!

Susan Noerdlinger: 10 Stars for The Mansion on Sutter. I was extremely grateful to discover this beautiful, well located, super clean and lovely boutique hotel on a recent trip to San Francisco. The ambience was truly calming and elegant, the bed and bedding were of excellent quality and super comfortable, and the carefully presented breakfast was just right. But most importantly, the staff was exceptional. During an 8 night stay, I was fortunate to meet most of the staff, and Amit, Amanda, Yash, and Nina all went out of their way to accommodate the needs of the guests in a genuine and very thoughtful way. I have rarely met a hotel staff that cared as much about the comfort of their guests and treated their guests with as much respect than this group of fine people. They are a wonderful team and all are invested in their work at the Hotel Mansion on Sutter. Thank you to each of you.

Kim S: We loved our stay at the Mansion on Sutter. Gorgeous rooms and the service is top notch. Secure parking was a huge relief-we coukd load and unload at ease. We walked to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square and loved it. Best bed I've ever slept on! I'd love to know what kind it was- I don't think I've ever been so comfortable away from home.

Tom Montesonti: Our Granddaughters from Colorado stayed with us last time. Ages 12 and 15. They loved learning about the history of the building and San Francisco. The first night the younger one asked if there were any ghosts! By the next morning they were all over the place, and loving staying in a piece of history. The staff has akways been very kind, helpful and friendly!

Zak Saidin: Food & drinks: Breakfast was surprisingly good with lots of choices. Cookies and Tea in the afternoon.Noteworthy details: Little things you forget hotels used to have for you. Notepads and pens with their logo and info, for example. Piano player on the evening with complimentary liquor. Oh, and the place is haunted, but in a good way, it seemed.

Calogero Damanti: Our stay at the Queen Anne was just lovely! The hotel is very tastefully decorated, and we loved hanging out by the fireplace in the evening. In terms of location, it's in a safe area, a short walk to Fillmore where you'll find plenty of great restaurants, and it's very easy to Uber downtown if you need to. Shout-out to John for being so helpful.

So Much Talent!!Did I mention Hotel Zeppelin iZ 👌 🔥 😍

Scott Wakefield: Fun hotel deep in the city. There’s a small convenience store on the corner and $50 a day self parking on the same block. Our room was in a different building that you got to through the “secret passage” which was kind of fun and very San Francisco.Hotel staff was super nice.Rooms: Fun rooms with good wifi, large tv, and a hot shower.Walkability: The trolley car is a few blocks away.

J Benabe: Guys, this place is awesome. Just FYI, they have three probably four different types of rooms. I stood in their 1 bedroom suite, it had a fire place and they provided the fire log. This hotel is unique, they earned my business. Im looking forward to coming back. Please fix the game room, ex.. pool table. Till next time.Rooms: Rooms are great. They have different options. If you find your room too small then ask for a bigger room, they have it.Nearby activities: You can grab the trolly that'll take you to Fishermans wharf.

Sophie Dorion: Our Stay was amazing! Very well situated hôtel, room was clean and cozy. Got upgraded for free and even got a welcome cookie! Spécial thanks to Gitanjali for her precious and helpful recommandations! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Great value …

Flamingo Girl: The good: the hotel is adorable, rooms are small but stylish and comfortable, staff is awesome!! Location is great, area feels safe. The bad: They charge $35 for the coffee maker in the room and the game room downstairs. Coffee was bitter. Parking is $65, valet only. They tell you to call ahead 15 minutes before you need the car, it took over 30 minutes for ours to show up out front. Just be aware that when the room says it is $139, it will actually be $253.

Ceara Thompson: Front desk staff was great. Friendly and helpful. Rooms are funky. Location was great. Easy access. The 24hr games room is a huge win if you want something to do as a family without wandering downtown after dark!Rooms: Room was funky. Exactly as advertisedWalkability: Easy walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, transit.Noteworthy details: 24 hour games room with billiards, shuffleboard, skew ball, basketball. A definite asset.

Ian Hersmdolf-Placido: Wow ...The staff was amazing, warm & friendly. They made us feel as if we were guests in their house. Rodaba & Audrey went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. After hearing it was my husband's birthday, we were upgraded to a huge apartment & they left a beautiful personalized note to my husband in our room. Every time we passed by the front desk, Rodaba was there with a smile & great conversation. She clearly enjoys her job!The hotel was a neat, upbeat place in a convenient location. The room was spacious & very comfortable, we almost didn't want to leave. We didn't try the restaurant but we did get coffee at the coffee bar & it was delicious. We had a wonderful stay & look forward to visiting again!
