KetoFit For Life: If I have ever experienced true immersion of culture and art, this museum is it. The curator and director are equally, if not more fascinating.
Katie Hanna: Absolutely incredible experience. I don't want to say too much and spoil anything, so just go here!! We did the 90 minute indoor tour.
irene ng: The most enchanting place we have ever visited in San Francisco. Here, you can explore and immerse yourself in decades’ worth of art, where every corner tells a different story. This is truly a one-of-a-kind museum where you embark on a journey through time. It’s more than just art; it’s also about interacting and learning more about each other through the arts. Imagination has no limit in this place
Ruby Bolaria Shifrin: Cute experience that’s sincere and good for our 1 year old. Better for older kids
William Hart: Amazing experience
Kineret Stanley: Wonderful way to spend time with your kids and connect with them. Fun, magic, and art.. very nice.
Jamiee Harbin: They truly loved every minute and it was one of those incredible parenting moments to see their eyes so wide and smiling with such genuine grins. The experience was intimate and sweet. Come ready to participate and to feel like a child again! I really enjoyed myself as well and think this is truly a magical and special SF experience. If is definitely worth adding to the bucket list. One note- there is no public restroom which can sometimes be tricky with younger kids. There is a playground literally 2 minutes away that has a public restroom. Good to know if you are making a longer drive!
dillon parker: a very unique museum experience. worth visiting with a loved one
Heather Rogers: What an experience!!! There is nothing like this on the planet. Everywhere we looked with saw heart-stopping art, and amazing performances. The Gregangelo Museum is a San Francisco treasure, not only because it has become an institution in the hearts and minds of artists and the public since 1978, but because this venue has captured the true spirit at the heart of San Francisco: community, and courageous creativity. In the aftermath of the tech takeover and the Covid collapse, his is the last immersive experiential entertainment venue standing. The space itself is a wonderland crackling with electricity, filled with extraordinary art instillations that revel in the spirit of pure self-expression, humor, and transformation. This is your experience before the show even begins! No one can place a price on the expansion and heart-coherence that results from any myriad of activations that are lovingly crafted there. This place is the real deal. In talking to the performers, it's clear that the community that has formed around the Gregangelo Museum has made it a sanctuary of belonging for artists struggling to stay in this city.Definitely experience this experience.
Xizhi Li (Bella): Mesmerizing house and lovely artists! I’d love to be back for a different tour!
Lee Bialik Filner: What a strange, magical, wonderful world tucked where you’d least expect it! Very kid friendly as long as your child can control their little hands
Katie Conway Monkhouse: We did the kids fairy garden experience and my 7 year old gave it a 1000/10. She asked when we can go back before we left. Such a sweet and magical experience for adults and kids
Antonio Gomez: A magical immersion experience. One of San Francisco's hidden gem. You won't believe your eyes!
Sharon Markowitz: Amazing charm with a whimsical flare. So much to unpack from just one visit! Thank you! 🐇🍄🕳️⏱️
Kimberly Buss: We had the most magical time with Jinx on the fairy tour. Our fairy-obsessed daughters were entranced the entire time as Jinx regaled us with tricks and stories. A sweet bunny even made a surprise visit. An absolutely unique and wonderful experience, highly recommended for any children that believe! 🧚❤️
Meher Kachwala: This place is so, so incredible! We were able to do a photoshoot here and every single room was mindblowing. There are so many details in each room that you could spend hours there just finding new things and appreciating the way it all comes together. Additionally, the staff and team there is comprised of some of the nicest people ever! They are so welcoming, kind, accommodating and we loved hearing their stories about how the place came to be. They also served us a delicious lunch and they were such wonderful hosts. This place is a must visit if you're in SF and definitely a must if you're looking to do a photoshoot or host an event. I really loved everything, the place, the people and the hospitality and we're so grateful for how easy they made the process and how they allowed us to use their thoughtfully decorated and planned spaces.

Jason Hartline: I started training aerial rope here in 2006. It's an amazing place where magic happens.
Jenifer Jayme: My son loves everything they do at this place and wants to be there every day. We started with a summer camp and now he's there 5+ days a week and part of the SF Youth Circus troupe. The coaches are wonderful with kids and great role models. The acrobatic training is more rigorous than we expected and has gotten him in great shape physically. Most importantly, he has found joy and a sense of community here. As a mom, I give it the very highest recommendation. Update 12/18/23: A year later, we still love this place!
Obi Felten: Wonderful circus school. Kids and adult training, summer camps and youth circus. Their student performance shows are amazing. Try Friday evening dropin class for date night. We did a team event on flying trapeze which was both terrifying and exhilarating.
Elijah Watson: Very friendly staff, students, and patrons. We completed our class project in peace and the students were supportive in helping and participating as we shot the scenes.
Larry Peck: great place to be involved with performing and circus
Mxd Chx: This is a fantastic and unique way to tell the classic story. A great performance for all ages whether you know the original story or not. At 75 minutes with no intermission this is the perfect amount of time for 4+ to sit without getting antsy. The acro is great and helps tell the story in a very unique way! I definitely recommend this performance for families that have kids into acting, local performances or acro!
Jyothsna Kumar: They provide the best and most fun classes. Great friendly instructors, quality classes, and they are very sincere and dedicated but also make sure the classes fun and interesting and make you wanna learn. They’re very genuine ppl who won’t try to push classes to you. Will let you learn and grow at your own pace.
Grace Lemire: I'm more than happy to pay for the higher-priced classes, but I loved that this was a fun, accessible class lots of people could join!Would highly recommend if you're looking for something fun to do in SF!
brendan mcdonald: great classes, community vibe

barak mesika: Great experienceHighly recommended
Thiago: I should give it a 1,000 star fun experience. I found it very interesting, the whole show and card tricks.
Joon Chang: Absolutely amazing, magical hour. Brought my 10 year old niece and he was so gracious in incorporating even her outbursts into his act. I think he used every single audience member as a volunteer, or just about, and the wonderment we all felt brought each of us back to our 10 year old selves. Combine his charisma with truly mind-bending feats, and add his earnest passion for the craft, and no one could regret spending time with the great Jay Alexander!
Tim Griffin: If you are looking for new entertainment for a night out in the City. The San Francisco Magic Theater with Jay Alexander is a blast..Its a small Theater and Jay gets the whole audience involed in the Show.. Lots of FUN.
Vui Vibes: My husband and I had a great experience tonight at Jay’s magic show, he was personable, funny & entertaining. Would recommend coming here if you’re in San Francisco!
Joe Lee: Jay made the experience very memorable! Starting from the pre-show to the end of the main show, my wife and I had our minds blown away. It's a must see if you're visiting San Francisco
Paul Escobosa: The magic show is terrific. We have been 4 times over the years and it has always been great. But , if you can, avoid the post show dinner at the restaurant upstairs.
Leon F: This was an amazing show! Intimate, funny, and mind boggling. Jay is an immense talent and the story about his childhood was inspiring. I'm going to tell everyone I can about this show!
Don Daves-Rougeaux: Jay was awesome! He got the audience involved and engaged throughout the show. The kids loved it, and we’ll definitely come back again. We highly recommend it.

Sharna Fey: Beautiful local theater that needs our community support! Please find a show to attend there!
Marlon Caballero: Although it is considered a small theater, it was a lovely place to watch a show. I saw Larry the Musical and had a wonderful time. I sat in the middle area and had no problems seeing or hearing the show. I can only assume that because it is a smaller theater, every seat is a good seat. The staff decorated the whole place beautifully and my family and I enjoyed taking photos with all the decorations. I was impressed how they made the bathrooms non-gendered. The bathrooms provided a curtain to separate those who used a urinal versus those who needed to use a stall. So the line for men and women were equal. I also liked the location of this theater as it was very close to some great restaurants. However, if you drive to this area, parking can be a little difficult.
Gian Carlo Baldonado: Nice small theater with powerful plays and performances
Charles B. Shaw: This place is a wonderful event space but one thing: if you aren't used to all gender bathrooms be prepared. If you're a "can't pee if watched" kind of person like me....😁
maria moreno: Amazing local cozy theater highlighting compelling stories, powerful history through musicals and plays. Wild that it's the first time I hear about after many years living in the Mission. Wish it was better known.
Elsie Militar: Great programming. Venue is very comfortable.

Dan Woodard: I went with some friends last night to see Un-Scripted's current show "Swipe Right." To say the cast was creative, humorous, and a delight would be a vast understatement. The show was amazing...funny, inventive, and supremely entertaining. As in all of Un-Scripted's productions, the players were some of the best improvisers I've seen. Each cast member portrayed several "looking-for-love" characters, all of whom were unique and engaging. A show not to be missed, and a troupe of improvisers at the top of their game.
Ymilul Bates: I have watched Un-Scripted actors perform in a variety of formats and they have impressed me every time. They are quick-witted, responsive to the audience and have masterful stage presence. Their insightful humor never resorts to punching down. Kudos!
Hannah C: Great theater. Interesting artistic performances happening on a recurring basis. Thanks for bringing more arts to the city
Kelly Morgen: Amazing completely unscripted shows in every genre... super fun for a Friday night. Really great beer too for only five bucks, bonus!
Bonnie Kate Wolf: Best theatre in San Francisco for quality improv at a steal.
Darren Busing: , though a small crowd. The venue itself, both the theater and the waiting room
Christian Heppinstall: OMG, SMF!
Sandy Handley: Music jams. Classes. And lots n lots of performances.
Michael Astrauskas: Amazing variety of classes and shows.
Nicholas Rheubottom: Really great theatre company. Engaging shows. Great for a Saturday night.
Anuj Gupta: Quite an incredible performance by the talented actors in Shakesqueer

Cynthia Nelson: My sister and I saw Hamilton on October 15, 2019. We had a great time, easy parking, and no problem getting into the theater; the area and Theater were beautiful!
Mary Tucker: My son & I saw Funny Girl while in town visiting family. Wow! What a cool, old building! Just fantastic. Everyone was really nice. They do a bag check, so be prepared. There are concessions to buy before the show & a really lovely lounge for drinky drinks! And what a stellar performance! 🤩 Amazing. The most professional show I've seen yet. A+
Jim Fisher: Saw funny girl, outstanding performance and Summerset II did a great job organizing the trip.
Ginger Gilliam: did not allow for our legs to sit at a comfortable 90°. To move our legs we had to hit those beside us. If you are as unlucky as I was, you may get someone over 6’0” behind you and experience knees to the back of your head. In addition, if you are broad shouldered or wider in size
Lori Flood: Lot's of History!
Frank A. Brash: Went there for a play. It's an old beauty that serves many people for many shows.Sight lines are good.Acoustics are nice .Balcony seats fall into that " we're going to cram you in because you paid less" mentality .It feels a bit dingy but it works. The carpets have seen better days. All in all, though, it's fun to see Broadway plays in this old belle.
Michelle Arlene Nelson Baldwin: Treated myself to matinee of Funny Girl which was fantastic. Plenty of staff to get you right in the door. Building is stunning inside and outside. Purchase of tickets online simple and handy
M Wang: Beautiful interior. A great place to see a show!
Teddy J: Definitely one of my favorite venues! Funny Girl is one of my top two shows with the lead Blowing me away with her singing and humor! Did Streisand proud!
Trina Turner: Great space!!
Sherwin Lu: Got rush tix tu see Funny Girl. A delightful show and the leading lady was phenomenal!
Julie: Lovely old theatre
Kimberly Craig: Absolutely beautiful.
Catarina Gamboa: .The theater is pretty on the inside and great for plays and musicals.
Judith Pucci: The theater is old, but classic. The Funny Girl matinee was fabulous!

Chuck Beach: Very talented improv group. Gold standard for the area.
Nouf Alhazmi: It’s a hidden gem with unbelievable talents! Shows typically start at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. You shouldn’t miss it if you’re in SF.
Raven Castro: Excellent troupe. We went to the Friday night “things” show and really enjoyed it. Super creative set, great production, all around good time.10/10 improv comedy.
Molly Maid: All the professional actors are also improv teachers. The story of course is spontaneous with initial prompts from the audience so some shows are better than others. The last show was very good COVID safe protocols still in effect
Paula Alder: Best place to see Improv in the Bay area, although stagewerx also showcases Improv Playhouse, some of the same brilliant improvisers!
Morgan Bubel: We loved the show! It was hilarious and unique. Such a fun way to spend an evening. Highly recommend!
Zhiyang He: Great show as always. They definitely need more audience post covid. Come support the same casts!
Jerome Solberg: Really funny and interesting, masterful improv. Not traditional theatre, but if you give it a chance you will be impressed and entertained.

Gerald Triplett: I’ve seen two great shows here. Intimate seating.
james bannon: The play was funny. But the view in the balcony is poor if your in the back rows. The play was mostly staged in front of stage. First two rows blocked the view. People in back were constantly moving around in their seats to see around the first two rows thus blocking people behind them who then those people were blocking people behind them and so on.
Sunil Dhar: We love the place and consider it the best way watch a play. Intimate and enjoyable. Each season is better and more fun to watch.
Rupert Young: We saw 39 steps recently. Great show and small theater close to the stage.
Pedro Colón: Very friendly assistant manager, and the play was very funny. The bar were good and they have a happy hour before plays
Nicolas “Nic”: has an elevator and is located inside a hotel. nice cozy theater
Jane Poppelreiter: Incredible experience. Big theater feel, small theater atmosphere. Saw 39 Steps. 4 person cast. Fantastic quality and showmanship. I'm a San Franciscan. Can't recommend enough to visitors and locals.
Patty Kong: We saw the 39 Steps. The show was very cleverly done. It was funny and we enjoyed it. We were in the 4th row, so nice to be up close to the actors. But the theatre is not large, so any seat is a good seat. We have seen several shows at SF Playhouse and have enjoyed them. They do a great job with the scenery and sets.
Michael Levy: Wow! Always a wonderful performance from this theater company. "39 Steps" was a fun and intriguing take on this Alfred Hitchcock classic.
Wendy Johansson: Get a subscription pass and enjoy all season!
Laura Peters: How lucky we are to have such good theater available in San Francisco. The night I was there, SF Playhouse offered an original play, My Home on the Moon, which was inventive and engaging, beautifully acted and directed. The sets and costumes were first rate. I look forward to seeing The 39 Steps later this month.
Joel Headley: The SF playhouse is a small, intimate venue that makes for a great viewing experience. The stage feels small, but they make great use of the space and bring the experience up into the audience's lap.
Stephen Nocita: Feels like a community theater: small venue, decent casting, uneven play selection.All-in-all, a real gem.

Tony Johnson: This place is very cool, great atmosphere, nice people. The staff is very courteous and friendly.Drinks were good, watched a great show, we'll be back for sure.
Monica Tamaru Jones: Going to miss this place. Lots of great shows and drinks here
john mcmurry: Fun place. Alexander the bartender is just a great guy.
Michael Lomboy: So bummed Piano Fight is shuttering. The TL will miss you
Sandra O'Connor: Really great staff, sound though was painful. I still can't hear anything in one year from a show that happened last Sat. Today is Tuesday. Especially for such a small room, the sound was insanely loud. They were kind enough to sell me some ear buds, painful none the less. VERY loud.
Robert González: Very good atmosphere
Maz Bednarczyk: Super fun improv shows, very kind staff, and delicious tacos. What else can you ask for?
Michael: Very nice and strong drinks. Alexander is so sweet and handsome. Live music was amazing! I wish I knew how to sing to get up on stage
