Candela Fernandez: Nice red velvet seats, golden decor. Bathrooms and bar are downstairs.
Dee Leit: Great front of house team!
Grujber: The mezzanine is the ideal place to sit.
Susan D: plays, ACT is bringing fresh, new exciting work to San Francisco. Bravo!
Susan Cyr: The theater is beautiful, and the sound system was really good. The seats are a little small but are still comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful also. Will definitely go back.
JP G: We came to see the latest commissioned play by ACT. This venerable Theater company is a landmark in SF and you should come see something here at some time in your life in San Francisco. Or even if you're visiting. It seems like they specialize more in drama, but once in a while they will have a musical too. The acting is great. The theater itself is great and staff are too.
Brian Hassett: As a NYer who grew up watching Broadway plays, Big Data was a pleasant experience in a classic theater.
Steven Havilla: Wonderful experiences at this theater, and I have been going here for years. The shows are performed so exquisitely, and I have enjoyed the experience
J.C. Lochan: Good historic theater for plays and other performances. I highly recommend going to see A Christmas Carol there. The bathrooms are clean, and they do have 2 bars. Go to the bathroom and/or get drinks before intermission as there are very long lines that form.
Colm Sharkey: Wonderful atmosphere, super helpful staff a joy
Desi Cataluña (mscat): Wow! Enjoyed the show thoroughly! Mezzanine seats were decent! Orchestra seats - definitely a must if you can! Variety of drinks soothed the various family members. Great place to go when you've awesome company!

Gerald Triplett: I’ve seen two great shows here. Intimate seating.
james bannon: The play was funny. But the view in the balcony is poor if your in the back rows. The play was mostly staged in front of stage. First two rows blocked the view. People in back were constantly moving around in their seats to see around the first two rows thus blocking people behind them who then those people were blocking people behind them and so on.
Sunil Dhar: We love the place and consider it the best way watch a play. Intimate and enjoyable. Each season is better and more fun to watch.
Rupert Young: We saw 39 steps recently. Great show and small theater close to the stage.
Pedro Colón: Very friendly assistant manager, and the play was very funny. The bar were good and they have a happy hour before plays
Nicolas “Nic”: has an elevator and is located inside a hotel. nice cozy theater
Jane Poppelreiter: Incredible experience. Big theater feel, small theater atmosphere. Saw 39 Steps. 4 person cast. Fantastic quality and showmanship. I'm a San Franciscan. Can't recommend enough to visitors and locals.
Patty Kong: We saw the 39 Steps. The show was very cleverly done. It was funny and we enjoyed it. We were in the 4th row, so nice to be up close to the actors. But the theatre is not large, so any seat is a good seat. We have seen several shows at SF Playhouse and have enjoyed them. They do a great job with the scenery and sets.
Michael Levy: Wow! Always a wonderful performance from this theater company. "39 Steps" was a fun and intriguing take on this Alfred Hitchcock classic.
Wendy Johansson: Get a subscription pass and enjoy all season!
Laura Peters: How lucky we are to have such good theater available in San Francisco. The night I was there, SF Playhouse offered an original play, My Home on the Moon, which was inventive and engaging, beautifully acted and directed. The sets and costumes were first rate. I look forward to seeing The 39 Steps later this month.
Joel Headley: The SF playhouse is a small, intimate venue that makes for a great viewing experience. The stage feels small, but they make great use of the space and bring the experience up into the audience's lap.
Stephen Nocita: Feels like a community theater: small venue, decent casting, uneven play selection.All-in-all, a real gem.

Monica Tamaru Jones: Going to miss this place. Lots of great shows and drinks here
john mcmurry: Fun place. Alexander the bartender is just a great guy.
Michael Lomboy: So bummed Piano Fight is shuttering. The TL will miss you
Sandra O'Connor: Really great staff, sound though was painful. I still can't hear anything in one year from a show that happened last Sat. Today is Tuesday. Especially for such a small room, the sound was insanely loud. They were kind enough to sell me some ear buds, painful none the less. VERY loud.
Robert González: Very good atmosphere
Maz Bednarczyk: Super fun improv shows, very kind staff, and delicious tacos. What else can you ask for?
Michael: Very nice and strong drinks. Alexander is so sweet and handsome. Live music was amazing! I wish I knew how to sing to get up on stage

Eamon Byrne: Love this venue. Has a big venue feel with the history but small enough to see the stage clearly from the back of the crowd. Great staff as well. Definitely a live music paradise. Wish drinks were cheaper but they're reasonable compared to most concert venues in SF these days.
Doug Berwick: The Fillmore SF is a museum of music. Posters line the walls of all the acts that have passed through. This place has a soul. Legendary venue.
Jack Chi: The Fillmore is a San Francisco establishment grounded in history dating back to Bill Graham and The Grateful Dead.Spacious, good acoustics, tons of shows.
Alex Valenzuela: It was my first Mr. Big show. They put on a stellar performance. Their setlist was like 20-23 songs. They really gave back to the fans. Lots of admiration and respect!!!
michael che: It's still nice to be back but overdue for updates to compete with other similar places.
James Wayman: The venue is great and the staff is amazing. We had a medical issue arise during a concert there, and the medical people on duty were so wonderful to my wife, and I'm grateful for their care.
Marie W: Not enough seats
Cindy Hitchcock: Classic venue, short walk to the best of Japantown.
Scott Walthard (Scotty W): Great venue for concerts.
Happy Medic: The Fillmore is an amazing venue to see your favorite bands! Intimate, open general admission, clean bathrooms, what more can you ask for?! Park across Geary at the theater lot. Cheap and safe.
Francisco Morales-O'Connor: Very cool Indie artists come here 🤘🏻
Jason Boyce: the fillmore is a fantastic venue for live music, big audience area so you get a good view of the band, the sound is great, and it's easy to get a beer, unless you're near the front, but the tradeoff is worth it!

Don Corleone: Cool, but be aware if the homeless outside..
Maya: Gorgeous space, lovely staff, wonderful amenities!
Joyous Mermaid: A beautiful theater. So much history. Productions and programs are always interesting.
are friends electric picture disc: *enough urinals for a mighty army*. Having a really pleasant time :3Thanks Curran! San Francisco rocks
Dallas Holladay: Great theater but beware, the bathroom on the top floor are singles. If a staffer tells you this is the "men's line" ignore them.
Dan Matthews: Staff are friendly and helpful. Doors opened late, so lobby was claustrophobicly packed. There are no water fountains, so you have to buy overpriced bottled water. Gorgeous old theater though.
Charles Franklin: Grand old theater
John Sanders: ACT is one of the best theatres in the country, and a SF treasure. Big Data was awesome, and I can’t wait to go again.
James Bloor: Nice venue with bars on each floor, various snacks and drinks offered before event. No drink holders at seat so be prepared. Nice service throughout the building and bathrooms were kept tidy.

Maria Barteaux: I took my spouse to this nightclub for a date night. It's the perfect venue for the concert featuring Broadway singer, Christina Bianco. Great seats for the show and the cocktails were good. There's validated parking for up to 5 hours in the garage down the block. You can walk to several restaurants and bars in the area before the show!
David Sayen: Beautiful venue with great service.
Amy Mclaughlin: Great small venue for live music, love the ambiance, good service. Soul Train brunch was a lot of fun. I definitely recommend this place!
Sherisse Taylor: SO MUCH FUN! WONDERFUL PERFORMANCES!
Ferdinando Penn: Awesome experience, great show, great brunch, AND it was safe all around Union Square as we took a walk around
Larrolyn Ford: One of my friends came here to see Sam Pauly, who I believe was last in six the musical , here and invited myself to see it the next day. There's a parking structure right across the street and with validation from the hotel I think it came out to about $15. This location is absolutely beautiful! Yes, it's inside of a hotel so you definitely need to go through the right entrance, and my friend walked me to the exact spot that we needed to come in through, maybe it's the actual interest of the hotel but I don't know. All in all it is absolutely beautiful as a space! Very close knit, but still comfortable. They have a QR code for you to order drinks and a lovely cheesecake. Since I was the DD I decided not to drink and because we were going out to eat right afterwards. I didn't do any of the cheesecake, but our two other friends who accompanied us did get both a drink and a cheesecake and they said everything was absolutely lovely. I can't wait to come here for another show!
Jim Curry: Awesome small club with super talented performers
Dee Nelson: My daughter and her husband went to see Liberace and Liza at Feinstein's at the Nikko Hotel two weeks ago. They enjoyed it very much that our daughter got tickets for her dad and myself to go see it with her this past Saturday. It was wonderful and brought back so many memories. Thank you all!
Larry Arthur Dahm: Love the cabaret entertainment
Gilbert Vendryes: The perfect kind of venue, small enough to enjoy the artists from any seat, and big enough for a decent crowd to cheer them up!
Matt Pagel: Internationally-beloved chanteuse Meow Meow may have referred to it as "some kind of jazz diner" but the secret is out: Feinstein's is the best concert venue in the city. Thanks to iconic Michael in the booth, the sound is always flawless. And the lighting is stellar. All other concert venues are forever ruined because no one sounds as good as they do in Feinstein's.The venue is so intimate that you walk away knowing how your favorite singer smells. You might even get a hit with nasty look from Seth Rudetsky, or nicked by an errant sequin from one of Broadway Barbara's fantastically high kicks.Never heard of the person performing? Not to fear: legendary tastemaker Randy Taradash doesn't let anyone on that stage unless they're a brilliant performer. You might not know who you're seeing on a given day, but you can bet they will knock your socks off in the best way possible.
