Alan Wallace: Was visiting SF from across the country and wanted to train. Everyone was so welcoming that I felt like a was a regular from the moment I walked in. Excellent instruction and environment. I will be making it a point to come back here if I'm ever in town again.

Cindi Lewis: Wonderful instructors that teach not only skills but respect for each other and the art.

Reid Davis: From Australia travelling the States, met ownerCoach Renan, very kind and knowledgeable, he let me borrow a Gi whilst I trained. All of his students were great to train with, very welcoming. Cya next time, thanks Sunset!

Jordan Friedman: Incredible place to learn BJJ. Great people, very clean, excellent training. Everyone is supportive and always willing to help you get better. I started 6 months ago and it’s been one of my favorite things since moving to SF.

Benjamin Russack: Excellent, highly technical instruction.

Jeff Chang: I’ve been training here for about 5 years now. All I can say is that this place is a hidden gem, you meet a lot of great minds to share experiences and knowledge. Training here has allowed me to achieve goals I couldn’t see myself doing anything when I first stepped into this gym. I can’t thank Renan, the instructors, and the team members at Sunset Jiu Jitsu enough for creating a welcoming environment and amazing gym for anyone to join!

Secret AsianMan: Renan is an amazing instructor and runs an awesome training environment. The way he breaks down techniques into memorable details is very rare to find in Jiujitsu instructors

Chad Leto: Incredible gym and an incredible group of people to train with. Really fun environment with an awesome instructor. A really great spot for all skill levels of BJJ and definitely one of the best gyms in the city

Brad Smallwood: and he's a really friendly and dedicated instructor. I've had Renan as a teacher for close to 11 years and so glad his gym has opened near Ocean Beach and where I live. The environment and vibe is very welcoming for both beginners and visitors and the level of training is strong. The gym itself is really nice- clean, great space, and plenty of parking in the neighborhood. This is a very welcome addition to the local jiu jitsu community.

Sam Balas: Awesome gym!

Nathalie Kaplan: have been training as well, and not only did their JiuJitsu and fitness level improved a lot, they also made awesome friendship through Sunset JiuJitsu. Renan got them and their teammates ready for their first tournaments this year, boosting all of their confidence in the most amazing way.

Matt Kang: Great place to train! Renan is a fantastic instructor and the vibe of the school is very encouraging. Picked up a lot of great tips from the higher belts as well.

Julian Minuzzo: Great place to train! Renan is welcoming and encourages you to get after it.

Laurent De Coignac: Awesome place for both kids and adults

Scott Steinberg: the Jitsu. Renan is a great, very patient instructor. OSS!

A: Very nice and clean place. A lot of different level and age practitioners, so anyone can have someone of similar level to train/roll with. Instructor, Renan, is very knowledgeable and easy going black belt, who promotes a very positive atmosphere on the mat. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Highly recommended place to start this great art of jiu-jitsu, or anyone who already practice it, came check it out.

Jack Grantham: Renan is the man. His knowledge comes from a deep lineage of traditional Brazilian Jiu jitsu. Only go here if you want to learn techniques that will work.

Shayleen Q: Great family environment and Renan is a very professional and knowledgeable instructor. Great place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Daniel Mao: I started coming here recently and have had a great experience. Everyone is friendly and the class structures are very accessible for all ages and skill levels. I've been lifting weights for most of my life and wanted to change up my routine a bit. Incorporating Judo and BJJ into my fitness routine have been great. 510 Judo has been great for my fitness but also connecting with a great community.

Catherine Casallas: Judo is a martial art with discipline and respect, rare values nowadays. In the past, I did judo at another dojo with 50 students, all very young and competitive, and I felt overwhelmed.510 judo has smaller classes and is more welcoming for people of all ages. Even after 3 weeks of practice, I feel stronger, with a positive impact on my mind. My kids and husband have been training for more than 7 years with Sensei Jonah, who is a great teacher, always patient and encouraging.

Darrel Adams: Fun, friendly, clean dojo. Great people there. Try it out!
