Vinny T: Just a fantastic stay at this hotel last week from Tue to Friday. From Jane at the front desk to the room service staff, they were all extremely helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable bedding, quiet AC. As a Marriott Platinum member I was made to feel special during the check-in. Definitely a benchmark for other Marriott properties.
DvGns DG: This place was really good I am kinda late to review this place but I was obsessed with the lobby and the pool. Once in a while they put movies for kids to watch in the pool and its old class made the whole hotel chic.
J. R.: , excellent service, the individual petit sandwiches were delicious and the desserts provided were nicely displayed and tasty. Beware, just the tea service will run you $65 each. We purchased a bottle of Chandon sparkling wine and that added another $75 to our tab, plus the Palace valet parking is another $30
The Simple Travels: Situated in the financial district of San Francisco the hotel is easy to get to from the airport via the BART Montgomery St Station. While the Palace Hotel is a fantastic overall hotel, the crown jewel is indeed the Garden Court. Situated in the heart of the hotel, enjoy breakfast from the menu or from the buffet or have lunch or tea.Visit the Pied Piper Restaurant to see the famous painting and visited the small mini museum of keepsakes from hotel past. The hotel staff was fantastic from Juan at the concierge desk to Yenny from house keeping. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and most certainly would return if/when we get a chance.
Carmetta Joyner: Hotel highlights Luxury
Pedro Pablo Ge Acuña: , the pool girl who works in the housekeeping department, she took excellent care of us and gave me nice details for my birthday I got an excellent opinion this is the best hotel in San FranciscoRooms: Exelente
Garth Riley: We had a wonderful stay here on our vacation. Excellent location for exploring. Comfy rooms. Great staff. The Pied Piper was nice to relax in for a bit and the breakfast buffet was decent.Rooms: Smallish room but very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Very cleanSafety: We always felt safe during our stayWalkability: Lots to see and do around the hotel. Easy walking

Chris Tebo: Iconic bar at the top of the hotel. We came for the sunset view. Great views, but obviously, newer buildings do obscure the view of the horizon. Interesting cocktails we haven't seen elsewhere. The food was good, but appetizer fare for sure. We really appreciate the rich history. Especially the military tradition of buying a bottle for the next military personnel stopping in. Great to read the notes on the bottled. Amazing history and some famous people too.
Kimberly E: Absolutely GORGEOUS hotel. The staff was the nicest I've ever dealt with. The person who checked us in and the Concierge were both incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel is easy to walk to and from Pier 39, Chinatown, Little Italy, and the government buildings in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We loved our view of the city from the 10th floor!
Christy T: Great service here so much better than The Plaza Hotel in NYC which we stayed at recently. Bell man immediately helped us with bags. Room had with a stunning view. Attentive room service. Rooms are old but very spacious and the bed was comfortable. A lot of older people working here who are very good at their job. Very pleased. Parking is $85 a night but they told us that immediately. There are other parking garages nearby. The curtains don’t close so the room stays bright at night. I found a hair clip to close mine.

Nancy Heath: What a great San Francisco experience! Noe Nest is in a great neighborhood between Mission Noe Valley and Dolores Park. Cute bar with a retro vibe Lon Palm is just down the street. The Inn’s awesome hostess Shelia is a total sweetheart & makes a BEAUTIFUL breakfast and ofcourse there’s the LOVELY garden. What a great experience!!! LOVE THIS PLACE
Deborah Skinner: This place is a gem! The decor is as eclectic and interesting as Sheila, the owner. The staff is helpful and friendly. An enchanting garden in the back is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy some wine. The breakfast is amazing—especially the frittata and French toast. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.Rooms: Very comfortable bed and high end linens.
Deborah Dempsey: If you have never stayed at Noe's Nest, you are missing the boat! Wonderful experience to be a guest of Sheila's at her mesmerizing BnB, with walls covered superbly with beautiful art creations of her own and others. As my sister said, it's not just a roof over your head, it's an experience - eclectic collections greet you in every room, each of which has its own story which Sheila enthusiastically relates to you. Each morning you are warmly greeted with a well crafted breakfast. Sheila's a gracious, engaging host giving each and every guest a memorable experience. Thank you Sheila! We will definitely be back!
Sally Woods: This was my first stay in San Francisco and Noe’s Nest is THE place to stay. From arrival, with the warm welcome from the most friendly and accommodating hostess and owner, Sheila Ash, the stay was amazing. Sheila’s style, gracious hospitality, friendly staff, unique rooms, and beautiful breakfasts make this place absolutely wonderful. It is very quiet in the multi story home and is so relaxing and inviting. So much to enjoy right there. The neighborhood location is very convenient for getting around San Francisco. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to enjoy and feel a part of the community. I will never stay anywhere else when in San Francisco.Rooms: Each room is decorated differently and is unique. I stayed in Anais’ Room and The View. Both were extremely well appointed and very comfortable.Safety: Felt perfectly safe coming and going at any hour.Walkability: Conveniently located in the city. Public transportation is excellent. Uber and Lyft is the method of transportation I utilized. Easy, reliable, reasonable. No need for a car.Food & drinks: The breakfast was absolutely delicious each day. Sheila has a country style kitchen and prepares the meal on site every day. Quite a spread with a wide variety of savory dishes and accompaniments. Don’t miss breakfast! Coffee and tea available anytime. Help yourself.
shireen day: This is my third time staying at Noe’s Nest. It’s a wonderful respite at the end of a busy day. Sheila offers an incredible breakfast spread and the garden is a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of wine. The rooms are just like the photos- beautiful and comfortable.Thank you again! I will be back.Safety: Very safe area.Walkability: Guerrero Street is pretty flat in this area and easy to walk to restaurants or wine shop.Food & drinks: Fantasric breakfast and great coffee.
Corrina R-L: Absolutely loved staying here. Sheila is the ultimate host, along with a perfect breakfast waiting downstairs for you, in the morning. The balcony outside the Sheila Chapeau room adds a noticeable, romantic touch for viewing the city lights, conjuring dreams, even as a solo traveler. You can’t help but fall in love with how Sheila so elegantly decorates the front window with each season’s holiday celebrations, along with her meticulously decorated, antique-vintage inspired rooms.
Robyn Coward: I stayed in the "Chapaeu Room" fit for a honeymoon, girl's getaway, any special occasion, or just if you want to treat yourself to lux surroundings. Private balcony room, with comfortable bed, shower and steam. Lovely garden available for guests on the ground level, great full breakfast in a great neighborhood location where you can walk to many shop and restaurants. The Muni line is a short walk from the inn. Everything you need and more for a more personal experience comparable to San Francisco hotel prices.

Linda Hester: We had an amazing stay. This is a historic mansion with lots of history and beautiful artwork. The rooms are quaint but comfortable with modern bathrooms and amazing beds and linens. Breakfast is nice. The location is excellent for business or arts near the Civic Center. The area is clean, safe and nice - entirely different from the Tenderloin which is nearby. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance. Amanda was amazing and saw to all of our needs.
Howard Shin: , don't forget there are 12 different rooms all unique and themed. Experience has always been wonderful.Great location and easy parking to find nearby. As soon as you enter inside this Victorian building, you can feel the history and service to welcome. What we loved:Clean rooms, soft beds, felt peaceful, rooms having their own individualistic style, Molton Brown bath products, and service has always been friendly and sharp. We have no complaints about this spot, it has been a beautiful hotel and service for us. Great for family out of town or a weekend getaway in SF. Again, great experience!
A. M.: authentic history and art + better lattes than any other hipster coffee shop
Jason Gallaher: This converted mansion was cute as all get out, clean, and centrally located. The customer service was excellent, too. I got in extremely early, but since a room was ready, they let me check in so I wouldn’t have to linger in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again. Just a heads up if you’re looking for a place with a full restaurant and 24 hour room service, this hotel doesn’t have that, but it’s near so many restaurants that that was never an issue.
Sophia Liu & Henry Demasco: with several crates worth of wedding-related supplies, and their staff helped us bring it all up to our room. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and unique. Our room came with an amazing soaking tub that we enjoyed the morning of our wedding and best smelling toiletries we've ever found at a hotel. Despite the level of excitement we felt for our wedding we slept beautifully. The handsome writing desk was the perfect spot for us to write our thank you notes to our wedding vendors. Not sure why some reviews claim there isn't a breakfast? While the breakfast doesn't include hot items, the selection was great and of very high quality - fresh fruit, sandwiches, coffee, pastries, and we left happy and full.We look forward to returning for our anniversary someday!
Kat Ellis-Guardiola: This is a beautiful mansion - the attention to detail in the decor and service was phenomenal. Special thanks to Amanda for her hospitality and kindness!Walkability: The hotel is in a central location within walking distance of very tasty food!
Susan Noerdlinger: 10 Stars for The Mansion on Sutter. I was extremely grateful to discover this beautiful, well located, super clean and lovely boutique hotel on a recent trip to San Francisco. The ambience was truly calming and elegant, the bed and bedding were of excellent quality and super comfortable, and the carefully presented breakfast was just right. But most importantly, the staff was exceptional. During an 8 night stay, I was fortunate to meet most of the staff, and Amit, Amanda, Yash, and Nina all went out of their way to accommodate the needs of the guests in a genuine and very thoughtful way. I have rarely met a hotel staff that cared as much about the comfort of their guests and treated their guests with as much respect than this group of fine people. They are a wonderful team and all are invested in their work at the Hotel Mansion on Sutter. Thank you to each of you.
Kim S: We loved our stay at the Mansion on Sutter. Gorgeous rooms and the service is top notch. Secure parking was a huge relief-we coukd load and unload at ease. We walked to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square and loved it. Best bed I've ever slept on! I'd love to know what kind it was- I don't think I've ever been so comfortable away from home.
