Natalie: The mini cupcakes are my go-to for work treats for my team and I snag a few extra for the parking attendants, they’re a hit with everybody! The fruit tarts, croissants and cookies are very delicious also, as is the quiche!Be mindful of the small space and all the signs instructing people to stay outside to wait in line until they are called in. Tons of entitlement leads to certain people just walking in and being totally oblivious to the practices set by the bakery.Sign up for their rewards, you could get first dibs on free items with purchase!

Colleen Coolish: The baked goods are amazing.Vegetarian options: Only one type of quiche had meat. All other items are vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Most of their bread is vegan.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor. No stairs

José Luis Escuer Ibarz: The best bakery in the neighborhood. I'm walking quietly from 29th to buy bread and their excellent cookies.

Shivani Kaw: Love their baked goods.

Olivia Dodge: Happy hour starts at 3! 2 for $5 on many treats.

Ton T: Small cylindrical kiosk bakery with an array of baked goods. Good location but can be a bit windy.

Vincent Doogan: Earlier today I bought a cranberry-citrus scone here that was delicious & a nice kiosk person too.

Marty Strauss: This place is tiny and weird and definitely overpriced - but the cookies are delicious, so treat yourself!

Chung-Hay Luk: The fudge brownies are so delicious!

Kat S: , but I work right across the street from their kiosk.Tip: take a look at the chalk A-board outside for special items they have that day! I almost walked by the other day till I stopped after seeing the Banana Nutella muffin! The girl said they don't have it available everyday :D I also get the mint chocolate cookie when they have it too.

Liza Fanshel: The people that work here are so kind and helpful! Everything is always fresh baked and delicious. Their cupcakes and cookies are a huge hit at our office. The location is very convenient. Great place all around! I wouldn't change a thing.

Anika Reynolds: Simple chocolate chip cookies with a bit of sea salt -- perfect.

Gloria Cheng: Many of the yummy Batter Bakery treats in a cute little kiosk on the slope of a steep hill right in Downtown San Francisco! Get there early since they do run out of the more tasty treats. But a great reward for hiking up California after or before lunch! Favorites are the cupcakes and pound cake style breads.

Jacob Johnston: This quaint little cylinder of baked goodness is a rich respite amid the bustle of FiDi. Honey Fig Goat Cheese Scone this morning was perfect - crisp outside, rich buttery inside, subtle sweetness. One of the best scones I've ever had the pleasure of consuming!

Kamalasan Reddy VB: Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop in San Francisco is a popular spot for both tourists and locals. It's famous for its delicious chocolate and tasty ice cream sundaes. The shop has a charming, old-fashioned vibe and offers a wide variety of sweet treats. Many people love the rich flavors and generous portions. The shop is located in a historic area, adding to the experience.

E V: , than you'll probs think it slaps.You shouldn't be dissapointed

Speech Corner: We had sundaes here after dinner. They were delicious! Ample amounts of hot fudge were added to the sundae, and it was an exceptional dessert!Kid-friendliness: They had a smaller sundae option for a child that was served in a platic cup instead of the large glass sundae cup. The regular-size was definitely "sharable".

Rita Braun: I grew up within spitting distance of Jewish and Italian bakeries. So as an experienced lover of Stella-style treats, if you haven’t been to Stella’s Pastry, I say this: Do go as soon as you can.Her baked treats will delight you. And her americano ranks in the top 2% of all sipped, considered, and scored. If you love americanos, you know what I’m talking about.

Ilaria Prescott: A bakery that knows how to surprise you deserves 5 stars. There are many amazing bakeries in this city, and I enjoy a lot of them. But for me, Stella Bakery is a place where I feel at home with real Italian flavor in every pastry.Their cannoli and tiramisu taste truly authentic, and I also love their Fedora cake slice. The staff is always smiling and friendly. The cafe space is small, but if you can snag an outdoor seat when the weather is nice, it's one of the most relaxing experiences. I also love their cappuccinos.Stella stands out for capturing the genuine Italian essence in their baked goods and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's a stellar bakery that lives up to its name.

Krishin Asnani: Friendliest service from Marianna, the soul of this place. It’s a big deal to choose the right establishment to become a regular and predictable to the right type of staff; This place knows I like my double cappuccino frothy in their smaller, curvy, stylish cup; their oven fresh almond crusted biscotti and apple turnover is to die for; Great eye candy of colorful cookies behind glass reminds me of paintings by Wayne Thibeaux.

Barmak Heshmat: This is really the best Italian bakery i have seen in bay area. So just to remind myself for the next time. I recommend the ones with green tick mark and don't recommend the ones with red cross. The cookie with double jelly is the best and half chocoletted hazelnut biscuits.

Hawra Mohammed: Good.but why is the tiramisu frozen

Jewel Swanson: Most of the best quality chocolate I have had in my life has been from here. So many awesome varieties, and all fair trade, well sourced, and in-house roasted. Their sipping chocolate is to die for, and their homemade marshmallows put it over the top. From the cocoa nib horchata to the florentine to the complimentary little cookie with each hot drink, this place is a place to visit. The only caveat being the slightly high price, but that comes with the best quality and good labor practices, too.

Meghna Prasad: Was super excited to try Sixth course on our recent visit to SF! Boy! The creativity of these desserts were gorgeous.I immediately picked a few favorites and my family picked what they wanted. The cakes tasted really good and I can see all the effort and creativity that goes into it. The staff is great too. When you walk into the store you can go to the very back and see through the glass window what looks like where all the baking happens. Very clean and neat!We also picked up a few macrons and they were delicious. Some of them tasted better than the others and some were less flavorful. We also got to park right off the street on a weekend so it wasn't super busy in the area. This is a good try if you are in the area.Parking: street parking so its a hit or miss

Lukasz Zbylut: Good desserts and chocolate

Phil L: this time we didnt get anything but will be back

Daisy Munoz: First time and very impressed. Small, unassuming and tucked away on 15th St., it's a nice surprise north of 16th bart. Fantastic 'Summer Blues' cake... light whipped cream, bursting berries and wonderful bite from the butter crust. I would place this on par to Craftsman and wolves and tartine, in terms of quality and presentation control. Folks who don't eat cake or tarts, can find sorbet and truffles.

Pam: So in love with this place. Theirs handcrafted are amazing. Lovely and tasty desserts. Good ingredients and lot of love in details.Everything looks great. I would like to try all of them.Affogato is super cute. I’ll be back there real soon.

Elizabeth Orbison: We knew and walked by several times and thought to get something. We stopped and got a treat for our godfather. He loved every bite! We’ll be back again!

Alice Hou: My visit to Sixth Course in San Francisco was a delightful experience, highlighted by their incredible Chocolate Choux tart. This dessert is a true masterpiece, captivating both visually and in flavor. The tart's appearance is beautiful, and every bite is a symphony of chocolate aromas that tantalize the senses. The Chocolate Choux tart at Sixth Course is a treat that chocolate enthusiasts will adore. Its perfect balance of sweetness and intensity creates a deeply satisfying experience. The smooth and rich chocolate filling, nestled within a delicate and buttery pastry, delivers pure decadence with each bite.

el lez: Gia’s energy is attentive, pleasant, and humble. I can taste the love for what they do at Sixth Course in each dessert I’ve purchased. Sixth Course is a warm and inviting place for me, my partner, and our loved ones to enjoy the best desserts we’ve ever had. They’re never too rich, always balanced, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients they use. Living in the city you can always expect to pay a little more for food and desserts but it’s not always worth it. However that is NOT the case here because these treats are worth every penny. This is my new favorite way to spoil myself. Thank you so much Gia and everyone at Sixth Course for your great work!! It’s not just the superlative desserts, it’s the way they treat people!! Coming back again tomorrow for round 3!!

Bruce Giannini: Treat yourself here to unique deserts! Yum!

dreamynation: I came by this place due to the high amount of great reviews. The bakery I got in the photo attached did not disappoint. I was thinking about it all day after I had it. One of the best bakery no wonder why this place is so popular. I don't have much to say about their other items since I didn't try it, but I'd retuen to just try this one again!

James Leahy: Food is all 1st rate.Parking is a minefield of difficult to read signs. Got two parking tickets within 4 minutes with our two visits. It’s as if parking police are waiting in hiding for you to stop and pounce. We spent $180 on two tickets. We’ll never stop here again. Instead, we’ll drop someone off.Recommendation: don’t even stop in a red or yellow area to drop someone off or you’ll get pounced on by parking zealots who write tickets faster than you can roll your window down.

Shay W.: Went to this place while visiting out of state. We had a rather large party and we're happy to see that everyone in the store was able to accommodate us receding. We were able to him pick out chocolate that we wanted and put them in adorable gift tens or bags. They even offer you the option of creating a personalized tag with a message and you can even add a picture if you want. You can order ice cream and all kinds of other sweets that I had to turn down because I'd already eaten at one of the other places in the plaza lol. However, everyone in my party ordered food and enjoyed everything they got. I would absolutely recommend for a visit!

Anne Margaret White: Super fun stop while visiting the Ferry Building. We picked a few packaged candies because they looked so cute and also got a few macarons. Very interesting that they make all the same cookie and just change the filling. All our flavors were good, but didn't stand apart from each other as much as I was used to. Super cute pink bag made carrying our treats back that much more fun!

Alona Navarrete: is divine. It's been my favorite since before I really knew much of what gluten-free was all about. Their Sweet S'mores cupcake is also quite a special treat with its graham cracker crust on the bottom, and its marshmallow-y goodness is reminiscent of a much fancier & delectable version of a Hostess Ding Dong.

Snigdha Agarwal: Delicious and well priced mini cupcakes. I really liked the regular and velvet chocolate cupcakes. I was not a fan of the napoletana, but I guess that's cz I'm a chocolate person 😬

My Tenderloin Kitchen: Hands down the best cupcakes in San Francisco!!

Holly Harris: They have a great selection here.
