I suggest the carne asada, the number one choice of Julio's uncle.Perhaps the most amazing part of the experience of sitting up at the bar at Tommy's is how you will instantly become friends with everyone there: I've had the great pleasure of meeting cool people like Kern, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Cristian, Robert and so many others. Tommy's is my number one recommendation in San Francisco and perhaps in the United States.

Vanessa Santa Cruz: Was in town on 4/20 for a trip to catch a Giants game. This place was waking distance from my hotel. But the bartender that night was 👌 all his suggestions were on point. Carnitas quesadilla with cucumber. Sounds odd, but it’s delicious with a surprising crunch to it. Recommended Soild Ground Hefeweizen and was one of the highlights of the night.
Melissa Green: We went around 330pm, we had margaritas and chips. My friend ordered a quesadilla and seemed to enjoy it the service was nice. We didn't realize there was a mandatory tip though. That being said we had fun just sitting on the couches and chatting for a good hour. The waitress was very nice. There was one "not so appealing" issue that prevented them from getting a better rating in my opinion. Someone carried out a bag of garbage that was leaking something fierce. The liquid got all over the floor. I didn't see anyone try to clean it up and the place really didn't seem busy enough to ignore it but it was ignored. As far as soma bars go it's not bad. Don't forget to follow my account for more great ideas on an eventful day in the bay area!

Gorgus Gray Goldgar: This review in based on bar area only. This place has some of the best and unique cocktails I've had in a while. Though they are somewhat pricey, they are truly unique and have Spanish feel to them. We decided to go next door to this spot from the Japanese yakitori restaurant because my wife said they have very good drinks here. I'm glad I listened because I was very happy with the drinks I ordered. If you don't have any idea of what to order the bartender is very helpful and knowledgeable since he and fellow bartenders help craft the cocktails on the menu. Good atmosphere for simply hanging out with a friend or a date. It wasn't too busy on Friday night and it wasn't too loud.

Aria Pipp: Visited Destino for SF restaurant week and wasn’t disappointed!Bruce was our waiter and he was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond. There were plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options as well.The wine menu was ample and the pisco was delicious!Would definitely recommend even if you’re just going for a drink!Only thing that could be improved is the yucca fries, they had the string/veins cooked in them which made them hard to eat.

S P: A couple of friends and I went before a comedy show at Cobbs and had a great time; we almost missed the comedy show! The food is yummy, they have a variety of options, and everyone was satisfied with their order. The cocktails are also on point. Though the bartender was a bit slow with service, the service was good overall. We played jenga, which was one of the available games, while enjoying the ambiance. It's a fun space in a very accessible area of the city.

Stoned Soup: Stopped in this place since only open around that area at night. I'm glad I did. Ordered the lobster tacos and a steak quesadilla. My lobster tacos are without the cabbage. Sauce made it easy to fall apart, but I'm not complaining. It was finger licking delicious. The steak quesadilla was great. Came with Pico and quac along with sour cream. Very filling. Staff member who took my order was professional and pleasant. Came out to a little over 50 bucks but was worth it.

Irwin Perez: The place had a pretty chill vibe on a Saturday night, group of 5 came in and were seated right away. Sucked that the food was no longer being served when we got there but that was on us. Could have enjoyed some tacos de papas. Overall, my group enjoyed their drinks that included the Other Mezcales of Mexico flight, Pepeniyo, Guava Sour, & Watermelon Fresca. From the flight I particularly preferred the Leyendas Verde and Metiche over the Legendario Domingo. Still an excellent flight and experience.

Louis Oh: are great. Beer selection is wide and overall, the vibe is pretty nice here. However, the front staff really want to leave by closing time; meaning, they start passively asking people to leave an hour+ before closing time. Not normally a stickler for service, but I experienced being shooed out on multiple occasions so I thought it might be worth mentioning that FYI not the most hospitable.

C Marsh: After searching for a decent happy hour menu downtown San Francisco we stumbled across Matador. It’s quaintly decorated inside with Mexican flare. We had make your own chorizo and cheese fundidos, tacos and tostados with choice of toppings. The fresh ingredients definitely packed a punch of flavour! The guacamole and chips was underwhelming and such a small portion of guacamole for the Happy hour price. Wouldn’t get it again. Wish we discovered this place earlier in our trip and not on our last day, otherwise we would have dined here twice. Highly recommend.
