Chase Evans: Seems like a friendly atmosphere to try some various beers and food. Just don't come here if you don't intend to drink. I went to get a bite to eat with some buddies after a late night of drinking, so we weren't really feeling like drinking that night. Waitress made a comment about us being the first non-alcohol order all night which then led to the rest of that interaction being a bit weird. They have their own house soda which comes in 3 flavors. I respect some good house-made sodas but they weren't for me. After the interaction with the waitress, we just felt awkward for being there as we didn't see that waitress again that night. We were helped by the guy who delivered our food for the rest of the night. The food was good though, no complaints there.I'm sure if you are intending to drink, you'll fit right in. Maybe it was just an off night for them.
Nele Van den Broeck: The setting of this bar is great. We initially passed it by accident and it is not exactly in the nicest neighborhood, but once inside you don't notice anything from the outside of course. There is an incredible amount of choice on tap, so I recommend using the Untapped app, where they also regularly update their menu. This gives you an easier overview of their beer offering. The food was also great, I had the burger with fries and it was delicious. If you are a beer lover, you should definitely pop in here!
Kevin Chang: This is the bar with the most similar operation except the main branch in Copenhagen, and the staff is very friendly. You must try the signature geek shake coffee beer!!
Dawn Miller: Great atmosphere
Marcus Lee: Mikkeller was recommended by my Danish friends, it is a Danish brand, hence the Danish cartoon and industrial decorations. Always good beers, I love sour beers, so this is my happy place. Burgers and fries are always good with beer drinking. Prices are fair. The location is so central, that makes Mikkeller a good place for after work drink, quick bite when visiting from out of town, or friends get-together, as they have some large tables to commentate. I go to Mikkeller whenever I feel like it, and I feel like it a lot.
Brandon Ozard: Lot's of tasty beer 😀Service was good.Food was okay.

Nima Badie: This is my favorite bar in the city. I never write reviews, and I don't want this place to get more popular, but I couldn't help myself! The cocktails have fresh fruit/herbs and are amazing without being too sweet. They have everything. Bartenders are all cool. Usually a spot to sit at the bar before dinner. Divey but clean. It's perfect.
Rahim Ibrahim: It's a cool bar steps away from Union squareService: 4/5 …
Ilgass Q: Ali Kemal, the proprietor, brings a warm, personable touch to the venue, ensuring that every guest feels more like an old friend than a customer. His passion for not just maintaining but elevating the bar experience is evident in every detail—from the curated playlist to the thoughtful selection of local brews and creative cocktails. For anyone who enjoys a night out filled with character and genuine connections, Tunnel Top Bar is a must-visit. The atmosphere is unmatched, and the view of the bustling street below through charming arched windows is the perfect backdrop to an evening in the city.
Cyril Prudhomme: Bar at the top, and Arnaud the waiter at the top of the top!! I highly recommend 👌

Katie McCulloch: and lead bartender
klarese donnelly: Great spot. The bartenders and regulars are always nice, it's never terribly packed without being totally empty, they bring in vendors to do free tastings of liquors, allow dogs and outside food, and it's got a cool almost saloon-like vibe to it. They have a decent selection of beers and of cocktails. I'd specifically recommend their old fashioned because they do them well.
Nicholas Pun: and it was interesting. The information was a bit all over the place, but what a great opportunity to taste test different whiskeys against each other. The bartender was also super knowledgeable and readily answered our questions.Would recommend if you want to get into whiskey, I had a great time!
Nikhil Kundra: But our friend Mark who lived in the area took us to this gem in his neighborhood, and it was there I got a chance to see just how incredible the whiskey selection was at this place. After doing a few rounds, the OWNER of the bar came around to check in on us... but he didn't just ask how we were doing as a courtesy; he actually cared about where we were visiting from, what we had done, and if we had been to XYZ place + offered recs and even help making reservations by calling different bar/restaurant owners to help make our already-incredible trip even better. He spent a good 10-15 min with us, educated us on different spirits and mixers we were curious about behind the bar—and then before we left, bought us a round to drink and enjoy one of those spirits we had inquired about with him.True hospitality. From the owner to the manager to the bartenders and other staff.Year later, a different friend of mine and I were visiting—so I recommended we check out Elixir. Upon entering, my friend asked if I had ever tried Pappy since he noticed Elixir had the full lineup. Neither my friend and I had, so we marveled at the idea and then pulled the trigger. 🥃 🥃To my surprise—and I know Pappy is rare, let alone expensive—but when the flight came, the owner and staff recognized me from many years prior, asked how I was, recalled I was last there for that conference, how the rest of it was, and even offered us some incredible stories and education about the history of Pappy as we sipped each year.My friend and I stayed a lot longer than we had anticipated and the owner and manager even offered us a personalized tasting of rare Wild Turkey bourbons they had in stock if we wanted to come back before we flew home and see how we liked them, especially to compare to the Pappy flight.Safe to say, we came back and had a wonderful time exploring
Josh Gelfand: Just the perfect bar. Want as fine a craft cocktail that the city can provide? It's here. Want to see one of the best whiskey selections anywhere in the country? It's here. Want a chill but lively neighborhood bar where you can get a fairly priced shot and beer? It's here.Go to Elixir.

Jessica Mierau: Lively spot for after work drinks, very popular with out of town conference attendees.
Andrea Santos: cocktail bar located inside the westin st. francis hotel. although the interior is somewhat unassuming and felt like an extension of a hotel lobby, the drinks were top tier. service was also friendly and prompt. loved the gen z slang. overall, would recommend stopping here for a quick drink, but wouldn’t stay long since they are pricy at $24/each.the ultimate rizz: amazing cocktail! some spice and bitterness but balanced with cream.
