Daeho Kalbijim & Beef Soup: what do users think?

Nora: Went here with a friend and we split the Kalbijjim with added rice cakes and cheese. It was delightful. The meat was tender and the broth was perfectly flavored. Super fun that they come and torch the cheese in front of you.Portion was massive— would have comfortably fed 3-4 if wanted.

Kaare Dixon: We got the braised beef, with half cheese. They put cheese on half the dish for us. Which was nice because one of our party can't have dairy. It came with accompanying fermented vegetables and purple rice. The food was very good with a large portion. There was 2 of us, we didn't get close to finishing it. The atmosphere was nice, but it felt like they had one song on repeat with heavy base for the whole visit

Tumenjargal Ressl: Too much sugar in to the food! I understand that if they don’t put a lot of sugar in to their food Americans won’t like the food and don’t wanna come again but how about Asians? We don’t like too much sugar into our food.

Carey: Authentic Korean cuisine but not impressive to be honest. Foods were good except for the kimchi not many choices as other Korean restaurants, and tasted not good. Quick service but maybe too quick, felt like they pushed you to leave after you done your meals. Prepared to long queue because they don’t accept the reservation. We never come back again because of really long wait and unfriendly service.

Rory Gallagher: This is my favorite place to get my Korean food fix in SF. Every time I come, the food is consistently delicious! The staff are friendly but leave you to enjoy your meal. Food comes out quick and fresh and hot! The banchan is plentiful. It takes me two busses or a train and a bus to get here from my house, and it is worth every minute of the journey.

Sage Lee: the place is run by some very sweet people.Ji-Bap, be sure to come here when you miss the taste of Korea!

Kurt Young: Highly recommended... For those who want to go abroad and experience the taste of Korea... I highly recommend this place!! The staff is also very friendly. I went there for lunch. It was great..^^

Dylan Hofstad: All of it was fantastic, the wait staff was a single person, but she was very caring and helpful. The food was phenominal, I would highly recomend the pinnapple fried chicken and any of the korean sodas they carry, the orange and white grape were amazing. The atmosphere was quiet and quaint, we were 1 of two seated tables making for a pleasant dining experience with friends. Its a small hole in the wall place you can't miss it.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to accomidate since it has a higher level.

Kareena Cleveland: The food was amazing will defs visit again when i come back to san francisco and most importantly the service was amazing...Annie was our server she explained everything and mad food suggestions...best korean food in town and its reasonable pricesRecommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend …

SF Honey Pig Korean BBQ Restaurant: what do users think?

Tim Wang: Had a craving for Korean food and this hit the spot. Really really good food. The ladies working the restaurant were real sweet and nice too. Not the cheapest restaurant, but quality was great and portions were very large. Would highly recommend.

Steven Maz: Love it!

Neal: Absolutely delicious Korean food.Everything on the menu has increased by $2, but everything is still delicious. The restaurant is close to multiple bus stops, so I recommend taking public transportation here, but street parking can be found nearby and the Kaiser hospital nearby has a paid parking lot. If you're dining in, you'll sit in the back. There are some tables there, enough for big groups of people. If you're getting takeout, there's a waiting area in the front. There is also a lunch menu, which has some selections from the normal menu at lower prices. Service is great and you should check this place out.If you don't know what to order, just order the bibimbap. It's a bunch of different foods over rice, with some kimchi and hot pepper paste on the side. Everything is cooked perfectly. There's also KBBQ here, soups, noodles, and other rice dishes here.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available. There are plenty of vegetable based dishes. You can ask the employees for more information.Dietary restrictions: Ask employees for more informationParking: No parking lot, street parking nearby, Kaiser hospital has paid parking lot.Kid-friendliness: A child will probably like this place. It feels like an inviting place.Wheelchair accessibility: A large wheelchair may be hard to fit through the door.

Val Lapidus: This place is amazing. A little expensive but full of flavor

Man Hyue Shin: It is truly Joeun Restaurant with food that suits Korean tastes. Friendly staff.Cheap price and delicious food

francis montgomery: Exploring the Korean food scene in the City is an explosion of tasty.Let's get into it.The dol sot bibimbap is bright with color and flavorful, the rice is crispy with the right level of spice....the tofu soup...yes please deliver it to me when Karl the Fog has us cuddling. You can choose dumping, beef or vegetables with your soup...there is no bad choice. My dining companion chose bulgogi who reported the meat was tender, well marinated while the bed of onions had that good carmelization.Close to home and lunch parking was a breeze

Kouki Kubota: It's unassuming to my own untrained eyes, but the restaurant was pretty darn good. The first combo they offer on the back of the menu was what we ordered, and every plate that came out tasted amazing. There's not much else to say, it's super good Korean bbq -- highly recommended!

Emcee Grady: So much good food. Our server was amazing. Thank you

Andrea Pivetta: with amazing food!

William Zhang: Good service and portion sizes!

Jenny Ha: and have slightly increased. i would say this place is on the pricier side but it is located in one of the busier areas.

Jon Singh: It was our first time here and the food was authentic, fresh and delicious. Very nice and friendly environment. The service was awesome, we felt welcomed. Price was in line with quality of the food. We will definitely will be dining here again.

Peter Park: Food was actually really good. But the staff seemed a little overwhelmed, maybe short staffed? But would definitely recommend it!

music destiny: It’s a good Korean bbq restaurant. Foods great and very tasty but also pricey due to the quality of the food in itself. Would totally recommend this place to anyone that’s looking to try some Korean bbq. One of the things that I love about this place is there kimchi soups and kimchi fried rice are the best so far I’ve tasted here in San Francisco. If you haven’t been here or tried their food… than don’t wait no more and go get yourself some soup… it’s good for a hangover kinda day. Lol 🤣… my kinda place when I’m craving something spicy. They also have mild food so not to worry as you can always ask them. They cater well to their customers.

Daniel J.: Love the food here. Definitely expensive but worth the money. The seafood pancake is my favorite.

Vladyslav Zakharchenko: The place is simple, yet feels rather cozy. They serve plenty of drinks and some street-style food. Food is really good, but mostly focused on snacks and quick bites. The focus of this place is alcohol - they serve rather good soju and makkoli.Vegetarian options: There is not much pure vegetarian choices.

Kay Butler: Nice spot! Delicious and beautiful food. Service was great, waitress was very nice. Try it!

Jana Paige: The best food!! So fresh and authentic! And amazing service!

Rikesh Patel: was really nice. It complimented the fried chicken very well as it was light, cool and refreshing.

Jeffrey: Recommended.

Juanchi Merlo: Excellent place and attention. Super fast. Delicious food.

Eric Jaw: 漂亮舒適的漂亮地方。

E: Good food but the staff needs to be trained. She’s friendly but came way too soon and frequent for orders when we just saw down. She also wanted to take the food away when we were still eating. And gave us the check before we were ready. There were plenty of tables in the restaurant so it wasn’t that they were busy. The attitude made it seem that you want the customers to get out… Food is okay otherwise. The kimchi fried rice was good.

Avinash Salgam (Avi): 菜單雖小,但每道菜都做得很好。工作人員確實催促我們吃完飯,這很不尋常,因為餐廳並不忙。

Theresa Uy: Time of review 03/10/2024. The prices are based on time of review~ Hands down my favorite. We go here so much, the owner recognizes me ~Meat: 5 out of 5 ⭐️ $42 a personYou can either order the regular or premium menu. We usually get regular, but have tried the premium. Both are really good. Meat is good and they give you a lot.Sides: 10 out of 5 ⭐️The sides are why I keep coming back. The rice cakes are phenomenal. The corn cheese is superb. Soups are delicious. I’ve tried MANY Korean bbq ayce, Kogi will always be #1 when it comes to the sides.Staff: 5 out of 5 ⭐️Great staff, always changing the grill even before you can ask. Attentive and gets your orders fast. This is a safe pick whenever picking Korean ayce. They get busy during the weekends. They have a special Monday-Thursday, I believe it’s $32 a person.Overall I spent $91 + $10 = $101 for 2 people

Christopher Vandonsel: The food was absolutely amazing! The spicy options are my favorite. I left there so full I had to unbuckle my belt and take a long walk. It is a bit pricey. If you want good and drinks it most likely will come out between 60-70 dollars. We couldn’t finish all the meat we ordered and they didn’t charge us extra for leaving food. I wish we could have taken it with us to go but it’s against the policy understandably. The reason I gave a low atmosphere review is because the toilet was clogged and overflowing.

Nishtha Choudhary: We have been looking for good Korea. Food in the city for a while and finally found at least 1 good place. We had the fire chicken rice cake and the chicken wings. Both items were perfect.Went on a Friday evening and there was about a 30 min wait at 7 since it is a small place. The service was very fast and the servers were nice and friendly.

Riegmar “Ricky” Valies: A friend invited me to come and have dinner here and I’m truly happy that I took the invite. The food was one of the highlights of my day, the chicken was so tender and juicy with flavour. All complimented with rice and a side salad that tasted fresh. You cannot come to town and not visit Cocobang. This is a highly recommend, so if you haven’t as yet, drop this gem on your to-do list!!

Kane Miller: .

Em N: Really good spicy tofu soup and the wings are really spicy but delicious

스피드: It was close to Powell Station and Union Square and tasted good. This is a restaurant I want to visit again the next time I visit San Francisco. It was a hidden gem we found during our first San Francisco trip. I strongly recommend this restaurant when you miss Korean food.

leo kaan: Cold noodles are 5 Star, salad is 4 Star, fried chicken is 3 star. Side dishes are excellent but no Kim chi, kind of disappointed. My suggestion to them is to use the traditional Korean metal chopsticks and long spoon.Wheelchair accessibility: Toilet is in the basement with stairs only

Luis M: Busted a mission from Los Angeles to San Fran just to eat hereIt's by far the best Korean BBQ I've ever had!!

Charlene Feljas: A great restaurant, a very fast and attentive team, very generous food...You can take away.I advise ! 🤗

Charmaine A: Waited a while for a table since I had a party of 7 dining together. Gratuity was added automatically to our bill since we had a large group - all of us paid about 50 USD for the meal which was pretty decent since we had a few drinks and shared a few dishes. One of the staff cleared my drink when there was still some left but another staff apologised and gave me a replacement. They close pretty early though so be sure to arrive earlier if you are in a big group.

Yvonne Martinez: Looking for Korean places in the neighborhood and was delighted to find this gem! They are super accommodating and made several dishes vegan for us. I really appreciated them asking about food allergies as well. Rice cakes, soft tofu soup, and bibimbap were all stellar. Highly recommend!!Vegetarian options: Chefs were very accommodating and happy to modify dishes and make them without fish/meat/eggs

Daniel Strickland: Delicious Kimchi bipimbap. A local told me that their fried chicken is excellent, so I look forward to trying that next time I visor.Note: no indoor dining. Take out only.

popiah singapura ube filipinas matcha nippon: Also take a stab of their seafood lunch special!!

Aaliyah Castrence: They were only serving takeout when we visited. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Only about a 20 minute wait, and the food was awesome. Great flavor and big portions. Very generous with everything, even the sides. I really appreciated the decent portion of veggie sides, and they gave an extra quart of kimchi. My boyfriend had a huge appetite, but could not even finish the chicken. 2 meals for $30, but definitely feeds up to 4.Parking: There were approximately 20 spots along the street, but were all taken by people shopping elsewhere. We had to park in the residential area close by. Not a long walk at all though.

Richard Mah: . Highly recommend this trusty Korean mainstay in the Sunset. Cash preferred- be prepared!

Mich Ro: Delicious Korean comfort food. Scaled down menu given the times, but you'll still find plenty of dishes to enjoy. Excellent chicken wings, tasty hangover soup. Great taste and value. Highly recommend Hwaro, and it's the only Korean food you'll find in the area.

STEFANY SALINAS: ❤️

Kyle Thulien: Yum yum yum. Had the KFC and kimchi fried rice and I'll have it again, and again, and again. They say wings but these are the biggest, juiciest, meatiest cuts totally worth trying.Local business is so easy to suport when it's this good. I'll be happy to try the menu.

Devin Carraway: . The fried chicken is flavorful and wonderfully crispy. I'd like a vegetarian soup option, but that gives me another reason to go back after vaccine-prevalence. :

Koja Kitchen: what do users think?

norris tran: The Pork belly koja sandwich just melted my heart after the first bite. The crispy wonton inside gave a great bit of crunch while the garlic aioli and tobiko provided a mildy smoky/salty taste providing a pleasant complexity to the flavor.

Neal: restaurant makes great fries, uncommon burgers, and refreshing drinks. There is a restroom, plenty of seating inside, and patio seating at the entrance if you like being kind of outside. This place can accommodate small and large groups because there are different sizes of tables. Also alcohol beverages, including from a tap, are available here. There are also TVs with sports playing.I ordered a Mint Mango Lemonade, a Short Rib KoJa, a Beef Taco, and the Kamikaze Fries for pickup through Doordash. The total after tax was about $30. The "KoJa," a rice bun burger, was delicious, but the rice was kind of hard outside from being fried. The short rib was tender, juicy, and really good. The taco was also really good and came with a little lemon wedge. The fries were my favorite out of everything; they were packed with flavor, still crispy under the toppings, and just spicy enough for me. The lemonade was more sour than I expected and I didn't really like it, but was definitely an interesting drink.Overall, I think the food here is great. I feel like $30 is high for what I got, but if you have a discount code through a delivery app, this would be a great choice. On a different visit, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Bowl and the fried chicken was burnt.Vegetarian options: Almost everything has meatDietary restrictions: Food is made to order, ask employeesParking: There's a parking lot at the Kaiser Permanente hospital a block away. Street parking can be found nearby.Kid-friendliness: Good for familiesWheelchair accessibility: Low tables, wide doorway
