James Seechurn: Great cinema

Art Siegel: Premiere art house, always a great experience.

Paola Rossaro: First time back after the pandemic! The theater was empty but the movie was good! "I'm your man"

Andrey Kurenkov: Pretty basic small cinema, nothing special but seating and screens are good.

David Crane: They have improved the seating. It's like sitting in your favorite easy chair. Usually great independent and foreign films. Discounted or free on weekends parking in the garage.

Jazz Soul (JazzSoul): Wonderful! They had lots of documentary films.

Heather Zulim: Free validated parking? Comfy reclining seats? Hell yeah.

Roxie Theater: what do users think?

Krishin Asnani: It’s a theater where I happen to see the year’s best films ; Turkish film “About Dry Grasses “ at Little Roxie which is very decent sized screen; fun rings are pristine. Love the flowery artwork on the wall in its water closet. Also saw La Chimera here. Get the membership as it reduces movie tickets to ten dollars only. Also saw “ Joyland “ and “The Worst Person of the Year” here.It does need a facelift : the repertory portion isn’t as strong - past directors are mostly forgotten unless their death causes a splash - Goddard.

David Chimes: Classic Indie theater in a wonderfully vibrant location.

Chris Young: Perfect Days. Popcorn could use some help

Benyam Ephrem: good vibes

Gord McCaw: Took in a movie in the Little Roxie, would have preferred to be in the Big Roxie but it wasn't doable that evening. Great place to see arthouse movies and documentaries you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere...

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema New Mission: what do users think?

Michael Crepinsek: Old time movie theater with food and drinks bought to the seats Reasonable Wine and cocktails too All you can eat popcorn and sodas If they did that with the spirits it could be heaven

Christian Santini: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema offers an exceptional movie-going experience that combines great films, delicious food, and top-notch service. The comfortable seating and unique themed events make each visit special. The commitment to a distraction-free environment ensures you can fully immerse yourself in the movie. Highly recommend for a perfect night out!

Eric Fulkerson: This is the only theater I ever go to.

Liane Corrales: Loved it! Beautiful atmosphere and great food!

Elydeangeles nogueira: Excellent

Erik DeMarche: Perfect place to see a movie. Excellent experience at a beautiful theater.

Jewel Swanson: . Comfortable seating, great food. Really cool and interesting curated shorts before the movie begins, and unlimited popcorn put this place head and shoulders above the rest. Amazing service and fun throw back selection helps too. Most importantly, with their BFD tuesday promotion the $9 admission price is one of the lowest in town. I'll be back again and again, almost every Tuesday.

Alex Warning: every other cinema needs to enforce the behavior policies alamo does. decent food, great experience. also, this is a beautiful theater

Balboa Theatre: what do users think?

Turquoise blu: My Father James Barrett took to the Balboa theater back in 1987 to see Robocop, I was 10 years old. A few doors down were a Chinese restaurant that served the best ready-made chicken wings, were a quarter a piece. Good memories.

Daniela Ayers: Cute! Make sure to bring an extra jacket or jumper, it gets cold.

dead troll: I'm back today to see Clockwork Orange...... Nothing wrong with the staff here....at least not with the majority outside of the one guy I previously mentionedI love old theatres....was going to the Crest and Tower theaters in Sacramento as a teenIt was at one of those that I first saw Stanley Kubricks Clockwork OrangeI empathized with the central character.....I lived that life in those days... breaking and entering, robbery, petty theft, jumping peopleI thought it was a glorious life at the time.....but it got darker and darkerAnd after a few run ins as a juvenile with the police plus breaking my mom's heart I decided I had to stop it allThe Army was my salvationTook a juvenile delinquent and turned him into a soldierGave me a familyA band of brothers is not a cliche to those of us that served in units like where I was on Ft BraggAnyway I digressThis started out as a review of the BalboaIt's not any one persons TheaterIt's a landmark to be held in high esteem and reference to a bygone era when movies were a grand spectacleLong Live the Balboa

Kent Nguyen: Went to watch Spiderman: across the spider-verse here with my daughter. I love this theatre. Been watching movies here since I was a kid and I'm glad I can pass this tradition on to my daughter.
