4worldlovers: The temporary CalFresh Emergency Allotments which provided a minimum of $95 for CalFresh households are ending. The last month CalFresh Emergency Allotments will be issued is March 2023. No further action is required.

Beginning in April 2023, your CalFresh benefits will return to the regular amount. Your regular amount is the amount put onto your EBT card between the 1st and 10th of each month. Your regular benefits are based on your circumstances, including your household size, income, and deductions.

90,000 children resided in Placer County in 2018. Of that number, over 3,400 child abuse and/or child neglect allegations were made. Last year, KidsFirst served nearly 3,300 children & 2,600 families through our direct programs & services. We serve a vast and diverse population in the greater Placer County region.

KidsFirst receives client referrals through partnerships with community-based organizations and public services such as Child Welfare System and Placer County Victim Services Center. We also receive referrals from schools, courts, law enforcement agencies, and healthcare providers.

KidsFirst reaches out to the community to raise awareness and accessibility. KidsFirst reached almost 25,000 individuals through our programs, services and community outreach events.
