Tessa Gomez: If your child loves dance this is the place to be!!!! After dancing recreationally my daughter decided she had a true love for dance. We needed a studio that would fuel her passion. I wanted a studio with experienced, caring and nurturing teachers that taught proper skills and technique in various styles of dance. My daughter wanted to do it all!!! I also wanted a positive environment for my kids. My child has been at this studio for a year and a half and made incredible growth not just as a dancer but as an individual. She has come out of her shell, gained confidence and self esteem. What she has gained in dance has carried over into her education. She excels in all subjects! She’s more responsible, has learned to always encourage others, work hard for what you want, the importance of commitment and self growth, the list goes on! ALL of the teachers are amazing and always have the child’s best interest. I love that they promote positivity with all the students and strive to have all of dancers always encourage and uplift each other. My child has grown as a dancer, made amazing life long friends. Now my 3 year dances here and I have her in 3 classes! We love it here! A true close knit dance family. I drive all the way from Natomas 3-4 days a week, it is well worth the drive! There is no other studio we would rather be at!

You really do feel like family here and the performances are amazing! They are also fun to be in! 😉 It is definitely worth it. Fell back in love with dance and you are never to old and/or young to start!
Tamir: We’ve only done a trial class so far but we have been very pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The teacher seemed warm and approachable. There were many kids around when we arrived and they all seemed very happy. The prices seem reasonable. We look forward to more classes! This place seems like a hidden gem! I love that the teacher also posts videos of their choreography each week so students can practice at home too.

She has set up such a good environment for all the kids and families at this studio and it shows with the compassion and acceptance they all show to each other, no matter what age. I would recommend this studio to anyone of any age who wants to get into dance! You won’t regret it!
Kathi Rutherdale: I cannot say enough good things about Miss Felicia and Divergence Dance Conservatory! You will not find a more caring and compassionate dance teacher. My daughter has danced with her for many years and has grown tremendously during that time. Felicia incorporates so many well-established and new techniques to the classes, which is a great combination. Felicia is always evolving and learning more her craft, which makes for such well-rounded dancers! Felicia cares about your child's physical and mental well-being in and out of class, which is a rare find. She is also extremely connected to the local dance community, and often has master classes taught by some of the best teachers in the area. DDC is very inclusive and all are welcome, it is a true safe space for your child.
Melanie Fiffick: This is such a family friendly dance studio. The front lobby is spacious and there are toys for children to play with as they wait for class. My daughter has been taking ballet and tap from Ms. Felicia for a few years now and it is an absolute joy to work with her. Ms. Felicia teaches them dance, terminology, and human anatomy. She pours her knowledge out onto her students and they soak it up like little sponges. It is so much fun to watch the children learn and grow together as a team. I have made so many friends here, to me it is not just a dance studio, it is a community.

Elena Shtov: Wonderful dance school. My son joined NCDC at the age of 17, when we moved to Roseville. He was warmly welcomed. Everyone made sure he felt accepted at the new place. He is a ballet dancer and he is thoroughly challenged with the classes. All the teaches are accomplished dances and are very professional. We are very happy with our new home studio.

April Stephens: My daughter trains in the Upper Conservatory Division, her passion is classical ballet. We came to NCDC this year to continue to strengthen and develop her classical ballet technique in a pre-professional setting. She was also wanting to round out her training in contemporary -- contemporary technique was needed to help her meet the demands of the rapidly evolving ballet world. She chose NCDC because they offer many different performance opportunities to develop her as emerging young artist. The quality of the instruction is top notch and supportive. Most importantly, my daughter loves the friendships she has quickly made at NCDC!

It is obvious that Ms. Tessa has a deep-rooted passion for dance and this age group. The most impressive part is that our two-year-old daughter can stay engaged for the entire 45 minutes of class. We credit that to Ms. Tessa! She uses real dance language with her instruction, as well as props and music fitted for their developmental age that rotates each month. We feel fortunate to have found NCDC and look forward to more great years ahead.
