Ann Bach: A very clean and beautiful place where you can see all the animals. Staff is also very helpful. Got my eight year-old female Chihuahua from here in February 2024 and we’re getting along very well. I definitely recommend the place if you want a pet.
Michael St. Denis: Very caring people here, clearly all here because they love animals and want the best for them. They do everything they can to help out creatures and find them forever homes.
Safyre Shore: My girl is amazing. She is so well behaved and sweet and loves other dogs. She can be annoying to little dogs but she just wants to play. I was worried because SPCA said she was aggressive with other dogs but I think she just needed some conditioning. She is so wonderful.
jacqueline smith: I got my bunny from here. His name was peanut I changed it to Bunny bun buns. They are so nice there and helpful. It’s a very clean place too. I was just surprised I never got a call from them checking in to see how everything is going. I’m his 4th owner and he has been brought to that place 3 times. He’s very happy and he’ll never go back there. I would definitely go back there and recommend them.
Craig Landis: Sometimes a wild animal is injured and the SPCA was there to help. Sometimes people throw their pet away by dropping it off in another community and the SPAC is there to help. I have rescued 32 animals in 66 years and the SPCA was there to help.

4worldlovers: Thank-you for visiting our site. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to bring awareness to and fighting against animal abuse and violence, and eventually the dog and cat meat trade in Asia. There are millions of dogs and cats brutally tortured everyday to this horrific(and in some places illegal) trade. We not only fight for the dogs and cats in Asia, but for the ones local and worldwide as well. We would also like to provide aide to homeless pets and their owners. There are so many homeless dogs on the streets that suffer and struggle right alongside their human companions. These innocent victims are unable to speak for themselves, therefore WE are their voices. We have so much hope for their future. If we all care enough about these innocent and beautiful animals, and work together then all of our voices together can make a huge difference.. We are determined to fight for them, no matter what it takes. We will NOT give up on them! Join us in this battle against the TRUE animals and evil of this world and help bring justice to the innocent ones that deserve it. Help us make people aware of the horror that goes on over there. It is time to TAKE A STAND and SPEAK FOR THE VOICELESS!

John “Suhr Real” Campbell: I think this facility is a good place for stray or lost animals. It's sad to see them there as they look like great pets to adopt. I just wished I had more room to adopt some of the dogs there, but I am currently dealing with two at the moment. Maybe later this year because the oldest dog is circling the drain.
Kalia Schuster: THIS IS A PSA, NOT A REVIEW. PLACER AND SACRAMENTO COUNTY WILL NOT TAKE IN CATS THAT ARE NOT INJURED/SICK OR KITTENS. ADULT STRAYS ARE ON THEIR OWN.

Mike Markov: Great place to adopt. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We got a couple little boys there
Mitzi Garnett: Very kind, considerate and patient attendees. Very supportive and understanding. No pressure or uncomfortable judgement energy say all. Literally every person I interacted with was delightful. The facilities was VERY clean but didn't smell over disinfected like some I've been to. All the dogs, I didn't visit cat section, was second off so big dogs were together, medium with same, and all the small together. They offered several Meet and Greet rooms and the option to walk your potential new family member with one of the knowledge staff. Off your wondering, Yes! I found the perfect addition to my family. They even found a great harness to send him home in. They have adoption specials a couple times a year that makes it inexpensive to get started. The process is painless. Good luck if you are looking!

Joshua Vines: So many cute and adorable dogs. I didn't get to the cat section yet. The staff was super helpful. Everyone should swing by if the are able.

Chris Plato: Great time for the Christmas Lights display, The train was broken, seized piston. Always a sign of poor maintenance! But on a true steam engine it's a little less predictable then on a standard combustion engine, just a mechanics take on things!
Joan Petersen Rond: This is a rescue operation so it isn't fancy but they are taking good care of the animals. They actually have a nice variety.
