Jeremy hilt: I was here for about 18 months when I was 10. I finally went home after I turned 18. This place was tough
M. David Ruff: CRH fills an absolutely critical role in the region by providing shelter, care, services and hope to abused and neglected youth who often have no where else to turn.
Heidi Sanborn: This place is a refuge for young people of all ages to receive the support and care they need to recover from trauma. The loving and caring staff on beautiful 6 acre campus, is the quiet place that traumatized children need to get the peace and support to cope with their experiences and move on to have a fulfilling and productive life.
James Lungi: The need to make sure these kids don’t “fall through the cracks” just because they don’t fit in to a standard box is huge. Children’s receiving home of Sacramento is doing the good work to help these kids with support, love, and special care when they need it most.
Jennifer Jacobsen: The Children's Receiving Home provides critical services to youth and families in crisis. The staff are qualified and make a huge impact in the lives of the youth in their care. The Children’s Receiving Home has been serving our community since 1944 and continues to strive for excellence in all services offered to youth and families affected by neglect, abuse, and behavioral health issues and trauma.

B Miller: This program has been a blessing to my family! We started when my daughter was 6 months old and graduated when my daughter was 3. in 2020 The world was very different then and KidsFirst was so educational and helpful. I am a first time mom and have no idea what I am doing, but I know I want to be a better mom then what I had growing up.. Kids First has made that possible! They have helped us during the holidays and have helped my husband and I when we needed them. I will forever be thankful for this program and for my mentor Genesis!Thank you Kids First
krisha davis: Waiting list for services is a bit long but that's the case everywhere. Once you get to the head of the line though, things move pretty fast. The case managers are attentive and can help connect you with many resources locally and within Kids First. The counselors are kind and professional.
Gabrielle Earley: Wonderful counselors, lifesaver, helped us a lot in times of need.
