B B: Honestly, maybe too much hype led to some disappointment. For certain, garlic and potato naan, out of this world. Would actually go back just for these. For a weekday. Friday. Zero other customers. We sat quietly, which was okay with us, but expected at least someone else to dine with us. We left at 245 almost 3pm, so... dunno. Our main dish was vegetarian curry, forget the name, bit our server said, most popular one. Has bamboo shoots, potato, etc. Meh. Maybe higher spice level would have been more flavor too? Kinda bland and certainly not worth going out of the way. Too many other choices, and as my grannie told me, even if you wanted to order and get every dish you really liked, you have only a limited number of dishes in your life..Please point out the better choices here because I do like the naan
VulturLuv: A chill, elegant, quiet spot [even when filled with people] where I go to enjoy very well made chana masala, aloo gobi, aloo bodi tama and various bread items [papdum!] I tried the himalyan sangria, and it was flavorful with a high % of alcohol. The staff is gracious and welcoming. I observe that many people use the takeout too nowadays.
Malik Virany: If you're not familiar with Nepalese cuisine, then you should get familiar with it. Cos it's amazing. Get the momos, yak chilli, and the biryani. Get it spicy if you can handle it.
Lance McNeil: Just came here to eat with my brother, and the food here is delicious and the staff are very kind. I enjoyed the soft music and dim lights as I got to eat a fresh, hot meal. I’ll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options so the entire family can enjoy.Parking: Parking is available on the street and there’s a parking lot in the rear of the restaurant.
Grant Cushman: The paneer butter masala is literally the best thing that has ever crossed my lips. Truly a hidden gem and one of the most wonderful finds in West LA. A must visit!Friendly staff, and the eponymous Tara is wonderful. Highly recommend!

Jano Jano: I was in Los Angeles with two friends for a few days and happened to pass by this restaurant, and we decided to grab a meal there. My full five stars are still not enough – the food and service were outstanding. Warm regards from Germany.
Cruz Hecklin: We ordered delivery and the food was still incredible! We loved the Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Curry Eggplant. We all ate so much!Vegetarian options: None of us are vegetarian but we took notice of how vegetarian friendly it was.
