Samantha Villanueva: Have been using it since I was a kid and they had a nice person who was selling it at the mall . It’s a bit of a drive for meto buy in person but worth it. I like the mingle scent the best in both the oil and shea butter , it helps my dry skin be moisturized all day and minimize the bumps I get on my arms.

jocey k: I first discovered this at taste of soul los angeles years ago. I like the scented black soap & butters. The orange cream scent is probably my favorite and the famous mango. I like to use it during the fall winter months mostly on my stomach and legs for any scars. Very moisturizing to a fault almost unless you have dry skin. Only thing is some of the staff are hit & miss when you go to the store tho.

Jo Jo Joanna: My favorite Shea butter - and I've gone through many brands. I also use her charcoal toothpaste and I recently bought the liquid black soap. I've seen black soap in a bar but I was curious to use the liquid kind. I also treat myself with their scrubs, recently I purchased the coffee body scrub. The Shea butter lotion is perfect for me, it's not too greasy, not too hard or clumpy, it's also not too whipped type of texture. I absolutely love the texture and I haven't found anything even close to it. I've been purchasing this brand for 4 years and counting...and I still love it. ❤️ Also, ordering online is great because it arrives so fast!

SMH: The best to ever do it!!I moved to LA during the pandemic and everything was closed down. I ran into the Body Butter Lady at an Art Gallery in Leimert Park. I eventually found the store front and was so happy to meet the ppl who worked there! They were so nice, helpful understanding and just pleasant!The Mingle fragrance is my favorite! Although I no longer live in LA I still ONLY use this oil for my body and I have the scalp oil. I moved back to the East Coast, Philly, and the ordering time was not a long wait either. I actually couldn’t believe how fast I got my package lol.Thank you Body Butter Lady! I love you and your products! Please keep up the great work! I’ll be placing my next order very soon! ☺️

Prissy H: Saddened to see such bad reviews of this place I still have my Indian curly weave hair from them for about 3 years now? It’s in great shape! When I want to get it put in I soak it in conditioner for a few rinse and air dry and it’s just like new. I have been purchasing hair from the for about 12 years and my hair always lasts for years so I don’t need to go too often. I have yet to be spoken to in a rude manner, receive horrible customer service or purchase a bad product. My sister recommended this place to me while she attended marinello beauty school. I would have her or my other stylist install and the hair ALWAYS matches my texture perfectly. I recommend this place to many friends to this day who are just as satisfied. I really hope this is not what’s going on there now. I will continue purchasing here until I experience otherwise ❤️

I drove from the Valley to see her on Sunday morning. She took down my old unhappy weave and gave me the best weave of my life! I cried!! I highly recommend her. Salon is clean. She is licensed, affordable, professional and has a positive and pleasant personality. No need for me to go anywhere else from now on!!

Guardian Angel: I'm currently on a healthy hair journey. I don't have much knowledge about hair, but I know that mines is damaged. While me and my mom were browsing upon shampoo and conditioner for my hair.. a young gentleman by the name of Antoine approached us and asked us what exactly were we looking for. Long story short, he's the reason for this review. He was extremely knowledgeable about literally everything. My hair was covered, and he asked to see and feel it.. I have social anxiety really bad and he made me and my mom feel so comfortable. He was able to help me and her choose exactly what we needed to take care of our hair the way that we need to. He gave me recommendations and carried himself in a very professional manner. Also, I checked out the wigs while we were in there.. they had a huge selection and wide variety. Great prices. Friendly atmosphere! I've never had such a great experience in a beauty Supply store.
