MSK003: Not bad but need improvement. I like the bed and hot water and clean room, but all the power port are super loose and they slips right off if you don't hold them somehow. One day I woke up realize my device was not charget for the whole night because my poder adapter slides out automatically. Also, there is a locked metal door in each room making the sound from the other side very clear. I can hear people on the other side playing music at night and is so clear tgat feels like in our room.

Jack Sammons: I have stayed here many times over the last year, for extended periods of time, and feel safe leaving my equipment in the room, parking my truck in the parking lot, and leaving for work early in the mornings. The rooms are clean and the laundry room has newer washers and dryers. It is very close to many restaurants, shopping and vacation sites. The staff, Danielle, Janice, and Vanessa and others are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend, staying here.

Mike Schmanski: My experience has been amazing! The Manger is great and responsive. The location is across from the beach. My neighbors are very friendly. The over all Vibe is Fantastic. The lobby is clean and secure. The only thing I noticed is the Pool Guy could do a better job. I like Csilla the manager. I have no complaints. I’ve lived here 6 months. Today I walked in the beach and yesterday I was dolphins from my balcony. I don’t hear my neighbors. The walls and ceilings are concrete. It’s waking distance to the pier. They just did some landscaping. Parking is good. There are People I’ve met who have lived here for many years.. if you consider the Adelphi please be nice and appreciate what we have … this is not LA or the Valley. Be kind!

Robyn Carmichael: Since December 2023, I have stayed at more than five California locations with varying room sizes, types of room amenities and Laundry room facilities. LA - Torrance has been the best. I am waiting for the hotel updates planned by ESA due to its dated rooms but the beds are comfortable, kitchen with refrigerator is great to have when you a smack or tea late at night, bathrooms are adequate, though small at this location.
Ashley Salazar: Everything is very clean. Location to city center and dining is excellent. Customer service is very good, they’re professional and have a great team of receptive employees working at this location. Would definitely recommend.Safety: I like that after 10pm you need a key to enter the lobby. It’s an extra added bit of security that makes me feel more comfortable staying here.Walkability: Without a car, it’s hard to get around if i don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for an Uber ride. There are bus stops a couple hundred yards from the hotel and that makes it easy to get from one place to another for much cheaper, albeit usually a longer drive time, but that’s ok.
George Dazet: Local lodging accepting pets is what we needed and what we received. Ms. Nicole provided her wisdom as hospitality director for two of our three days. She anticipated questions, provided answers, very cordial and professional. I did not meet GM Falicia Foster, but I thank her for Ms. Nicole being on her staff.Morning lobby coffee and light nourishment blessed me with a wonderful conversation with guest Ms. Paula and also Rich.Across from Torrance civic center library, and art exhibit as well as easy access to good food. Parking lot well lit.
Steven Goforth: I stay here alot. The staff here are super friendly and always greet with a smile. The rooms are comfortable and fit the needs of anyone staying for business or for an extended period of time. Kitchen needs supplied in request. Could use. A little updating bit still well worth it for the stay here. I am a full-time student as well as working so the work space In the room is very beneficial.Rooms: Studio type rooms with kitchenette. Flat screen television, comfortable beds and adequate work space.

Lots of restaurants, and activities close by, including shopping. Naoki TATSUMI: I always stay here when I travel to Los Angeles. It seems like it's been updated little by little every time I come, so I look forward to it every time. It's a shame that we had to pay for the continental breakfast, but I'm very satisfied with the convenience of having everything nearby, the safety, and the location with good transportation links and the ability to go anywhere.

The rooms are nice, but a few things could be improved...pillows not comfortable, no safe in room, the wire shelf in closet is not a substitute for a bar to hang clothing...you can't shut the sliding closet door because clothing sticks out to far with current setup, and you can hear lots of road noise. The one and only elevator is inadequate and very slow for a building of this size. Room was great as far as air-conditioning, but hallway was hot! The breakfast is excellent. Parking is plentiful and convenient. The coffee machines are a nice touch in lobby. Only ice machine is on 3rd floor. Hand sanitizer machines either empty or need battery replaced. Overall a nice stay and would recommend.

James Bray: Our first stay here won't be our last! We were very impressed with the amenities, cleanliness, size and comfort of our room as well as the entire hotel. The included hot breakfast was a real plus with just about anything you'd want, including almond milk. The newly renovated and relocated gym is outstanding along with high tech features. Likewise, the business center had everything one would expect including a small shredder. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a couch and desk. There is parking on site with some under the hotel, including 3 ♿ spaces. I spoke with Rigo, the General Manager, who indicated they are planning to add EV charging stations in the future. We were so impressed that we will be staying here every time we visit relatives in Torrance! Most highly recommended!Rooms: Some rooms are ADA ♿ compliant with roll in showers and grab bars throughout the bathroom. Some have tubs. All have the comforts and features you'd expect in a modern hotel, including WiFi. Rooms are clean and well appointed.Noteworthy details: They do have security cameras on site. The front doors require your room key after hours or when the front desk is unoccupied. We felt quite safe here and we consider this a safe neighborhood.

There were several types of waffle batter for making your own waffles, plenty of fruit, and a large selection overall. The bacon was fantastic. Maybe it was my weekend I went, but the room faced the outside courtyard area, and they had some sort of business or team selling perfume and similar items.One other thing I wish they had, would be a microwave in the room. They only have one downstairs in the lobby. Overall, it was not a bad stay, but I enjoyed it here and would stay again.
Lori: I was pleasantly surprised but the cozy feeling this hotel has captured. I stayed for a week for a business trip and I'd definitely stay here again. The staff is friendly and kind. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The courtyard is fabulous! I spent most evenings enjoying the fireplaces and comfortable seating after a long day of working. The hotel is secure with a gated entrance. The water pressure and hot water is better than any other hotel I've stayed at. This is by far better than a Marriott. My work will be using this for their main hotel going forward. The experience has been outstanding.
Michael Renk: I wouldn't call it a hotel. It's more like a glorified motel because there's no interior introduce to your room. Everything is on the outside like a motel. Plus they don't have breakfast. I would say that's kind of a downside for this type of place. But they have a restaurant next door that you can order breakfast and get a discount on. They do offer coffee, tea and water 24/7. And even have a self-serve bar that you can make mixed drinks through. I didn't see the machine in operation but it looks pretty cool. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming, a special shout out to Josna Bien-Aime, who always had a smile on her face as she answered my numerous questions. My room was extremely clean and quiet. Complimentary coffee and tea along with a limited pay bar service was nice. The courtyard with an evening fire pit was a wonderful place to relax with a beverage.Noteworthy details: Would definitely stay here again. Guests who gathered around the fire pit were friendly and welcoming. Says a lot about their clientele.

Steve Peterson: Rooms are somewhat dated, but generally clean and there wasnt much road noise. The air-conditioning is not easily controlled, and the room was a bit warm and a bit humid. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is close to Dignity Health Park and only about 20minutes from LAX. Also, found a few great SE Asian resturants in the vicinity. All in all, I'd stay here again if the nightly price stays in the mid to upper $100's... Definately wouldn't pay over $200 given the age, average condition, amenities, etc.

Janet Jones: Stayed here for are first time. It's great we would stay here again. Clean rooms. Refrigerator, Microwave, free coffee and tea in room. Are TV was not working the entire time of are stay. Friday Saturday checked out Sunday. It was good we used are cell phones and laptops to watch movies. When you have a kid with you. They serve free breakfast it was nice .Safety: The rooms are on the second level and the parking is on 1st level.Food & drinks: They have well stock chips cups of soup and more snacks In the machine. They also have a ATM machine right as you get off elevator on the second floor. It's a Great place

Matthew Wright: The hotel was clean but dated for alot of things in the room. It was great having a kitchen though for being there a while for work. The front desk was great to help when we had hotels website issues. The pools heater was broken the entire time which sucked because it was chilly when we were there but the hot tub was hot. Will be staying here again.Rooms: The furniture was dated, the couch has Rios and such. The desk chair if you leaned back at all would also go completely backward and was uncomfortable.Noteworthy details: It was great to finish the night around a fire place outdoors.

Michael Edwards: I originally booked for 2 nights and was fortunate to extend for a total of 14 nights consecutive. I've been in and out of hotels the past 9 months, and I can tell you that for the money, you will get more here than most of the country. I wrote this April 12, 2024. This place is very clean. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. And apparently good enough for a continuous Japanese clientele. I an sold, and telling all my friends visiting Los Angeles, California that they should DEFINITELY CONSIDER REDAC GATEWAY HOTEL ON WESTERN AVE!!!
Liz Lm: I love this hotel!!! We went there in 2018 and I can still remember that I enjoyed this place. It’s just a small hotel but it’s very comfortable. To me, they serve the best breakfast. I’m Asian so I love rice, bacon and salmon but they also have the typical American breakfast like cereal, bagel and others. Oh and this is the only hotel I know that have bidets in their toilet, how cool.😎 LOL. If we go back to California, we will definitely stay here again. 😊

Guillermo Alvarez: Tuscany is a quiet and decent place to live. June Kim in the front office has been more than courteous in our interactions resolving any issues and was really kind since the application process. As with any other rental, there are issues to resolve, some are done fast some slow.

June Kim from the leasing office was very thorough and friendly she answered any questions we had and made our move in experience the best ever. She went above and beyond to make sure we are happy!!! She made sure everything was up to date in our unit and is persistent and professional all around.

We’ve lived here for about 4 years and I really like it! Mara and Tino are always great! The washer and dryers were a pain since they’re breaking down but Mara finally got the company to give us some new ones! The neighbors are also super cool!

Youtuber Yung: i have stayed at this hotel twice. last year 2023 and 2024 this year, is it a 5 star? maybe according to high standard people its not, but to me they have been providing me excellent service and the hotel room is extremely comfortable overall and the hotel lobby is simple but stylish with japanese style. It's my version of a 5 stars hotel.If you or any of my friends ask me where I will stay in LA in the future? I will not hesitate and tell them i will continue to stay in miyako at torrance.
