Miyako Hybrid Hotel: what do users think?

Daisy H.: My favorite hotel ever. They provide two waters and daily maid service.

Youtuber Yung: i have stayed at this hotel twice. last year 2023 and 2024 this year, is it a 5 star? maybe according to high standard people its not, but to me they have been providing me excellent service and the hotel room is extremely comfortable overall and the hotel lobby is simple but stylish with japanese style. It's my version of a 5 stars hotel. If you or any of my friends ask me where I will stay in LA in the future? I will not hesitate and tell them i will continue to stay in miyako at torrance.

Lari Njegovan: I will definitely book this hotel, I can't think of anything better. I'm sorry it was just one night. Thank you very much and greetings from Germany!

Jared D: I had a great experience here for 3 nights. Maybe it was my weekend I went, but the room faced the outside courtyard area, and they had some sort of business or team selling perfume and similar items. One other thing I wish they had, would be a microwave in the room. They only have one downstairs in the lobby. Overall, it was not a bad stay, but I enjoyed it here and would stay again.

Lori: I was pleasantly surprised but the cozy feeling this hotel has captured. I stayed for a week for a business trip and I'd definitely stay here again. The staff is friendly and kind. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The courtyard is fabulous! I spent most evenings enjoying the fireplaces and comfortable seating after a long day of working. The hotel is secure with a gated entrance. The water pressure and hot water is better than any other hotel I've stayed at. This is by far better than a Marriott. My work will be using this for their main hotel going forward. The experience has been outstanding.

Michael Renk: I wouldn't call it a hotel. It's more like a glorified motel because there's no interior introduce to your room. Everything is on the outside like a motel. Plus they don't have breakfast. I would say that's kind of a downside for this type of place. But they have a restaurant next door that you can order breakfast and get a discount on. They do offer coffee, tea and water 24/7. And even have a self-serve bar that you can make mixed drinks through. I didn't see the machine in operation but it looks pretty cool. When the rooms are discounted. It's a great valueRooms: I had one of the larger rooms. It was more like a sweet. It's pretty cool. Very nice size. Well appointed. Everything was in order

Lynn Joos: I felt like I was coming home at the end of the day! The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming, a special shout out to Josna Bien-Aime, who always had a smile on her face as she answered my numerous questions. My room was extremely clean and quiet. Complimentary coffee and tea along with a limited pay bar service was nice. The courtyard with an evening fire pit was a wonderful place to relax with a beverage.Noteworthy details: Would definitely stay here again. Guests who gathered around the fire pit were friendly and welcoming. Says a lot about their clientele.

Roger White: Very nice clean updated rooms, extremely nice staff. Great secured parking.Rooms: Very clean and updated. Cool fire pit and sitting areaSafety: You pull in and go behind the gate so everything is secureWalkability: A couple stores and coffee very close by

Lorena Lopez: First time at Bluestem Hotel and will definitely go back and will definitely recommend to friends and family A+ 👍🏼👍🏼Rooms: Rooms are nice and clean and roomy bed is so comfy has a nice chair with a little table nice size tv coffee machine little cute fridge bathroom is great nice decent size cute little closet like thingy to hang clothes on it towels are nice and new and clean everything was great definitely going backFood & drinks: They offer complimentary coffee and tea as well as complimentary alcoholic beverages cocktails were great the front desk hostess makes the drinks for you and they so good

Steve Peterson: Rooms are somewhat dated, but generally clean and there wasnt much road noise. The air-conditioning is not easily controlled, and the room was a bit warm and a bit humid. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is close to Dignity Health Park and only about 20minutes from LAX. Also, found a few great SE Asian resturants in the vicinity. All in all, I'd stay here again if the nightly price stays in the mid to upper $100's... Definately wouldn't pay over $200 given the age, average condition, amenities, etc.

Robiwil2 b real: . It's understandable though and if you pay the deposit in cash they give your deposit back in cash. The workers are friendly and attentive. We had a great stay both times. 😁🐶😍🏫💚

Naoki TATSUMI: I always stay here when I travel to Los Angeles. It seems like it's been updated little by little every time I come, so I look forward to it every time. It's a shame that we had to pay for the continental breakfast, but I'm very satisfied with the convenience of having everything nearby, the safety, and the location with good transportation links and the ability to go anywhere.

Jesús Farrera Grajales: Excellent service at reception. Soft beds. They don't clean the rooms frequently. It feels old hotelRooms: Lack of cleanliness and change of towels, soap, etc.

MSK003: Not bad but need improvement. I like the bed and hot water and clean room, but all the power port are super loose and they slips right off if you don't hold them somehow. One day I woke up realize my device was not charget for the whole night because my poder adapter slides out automatically. Also, there is a locked metal door in each room making the sound from the other side very clear. I can hear people on the other side playing music at night and is so clear tgat feels like in our room.

Eder: A huge hotel with many amenities.Open outdoor pool on the third floor.Hot tub.Open buffet and a menu restaurant.Sports bar.Open seats everywhere.Clean.Very nice courteous serviceParking is 11/night if you're not a member, still cheaper than most garages.Breakfast can be purchased or included with reservations. I recommend to include it since the purchases vary in prices and open buffet is good.Gym on the third floor.Gated hotel.

sena thompson: Very clean and accommodating. Just wish there were more places to eat nearby and grocery stores nearby when you need a little something something.Rooms: Very standard hotel rooms just wish the beds were queen size instead of double.

Jin “もこ”: Breakfast is a standard American hotel breakfast🥞I brought in the natto I bought at Mitsuwa and had natto rice...

Grumpy Cat: I love the upstairs & downstairs configuration, allowing for quiet time.the upstairs bed can be a little scary & dangerous for kids. it overlooks the living room downstairs.Rooms: downstairs bedroom is closed off with own bathroom, doors, desk & separate TV.upstairs bedroom has a bed, bathroom & vanity. it's more open aired.Nearby activities: close to a mall & costco.

Salah Haddad: Nice place safe area near Grand Mall 👍Nearby activities: Near shopping centerSafety: YesFood & drinks: Nice

Angelique Gentry: Love the complimentary breakfast. Staff at breakfast was amazing, always smiling. Rooms were clean but carpet needed a shampoo. Allergies immediately started every night I walked into the room.Walkability: Across from the mall.

Fcozavaleta Zava: I would give it 5 stars but due to the fact that they charge for parking I am not going to do it. I think that's just not good. Also, the room had a water bottle that cost 6 dollars, I have been to less prestigious hotels and they offer complimentary water.Rooms: No complementary water

Yoshihisa Matsumoto: Best spa in Torrance

Ali G: First time here for the body scrub and massage package. Granted I came on a Monday afternoon so the place was pretty empty. The entire process from check-in, clear signage to body scrub/massage was very straightforward. The facilities were clean and I had the privilege of having Dana, a woman who is small in stature but could put down any man with her strength. Ended the day with a shaved ice in their upstairs cafe. All in all, would highly recommend. Much less stressful than driving all the way to ktown and battling the traffic. Ample parking too! Be sure to bring cash to tip your person!

Carmen Ruby: Amazzzzzzing!!!!Mom’s Birthday weekend!!!I had reservations but I am so glad she encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone.

Jae-In Hwang: First time in a while at a sauna. The food was delicious and the salt room was great for relieving fatigue.

samson kariuki: I had the best deep tissue massage & body scrub. Feeling great 😊 😊😊😊

Irina Denitskaya: Clean, nice, well maintained place.Unfortunately, after Covid food court isn’t good. They use to serve great food there before

Ferenc Bozoky: Good location.. Quiet, comfortable rooms..Rooms: Comfortable, clean, quiet rooms

Matthew Wright: The hotel was clean but dated for alot of things in the room. It was great having a kitchen though for being there a while for work. The front desk was great to help when we had hotels website issues. The pools heater was broken the entire time which sucked because it was chilly when we were there but the hot tub was hot. Will be staying here again.Rooms: The furniture was dated, the couch has Rios and such. The desk chair if you leaned back at all would also go completely backward and was uncomfortable.Noteworthy details: It was great to finish the night around a fire place outdoors.

k.a: but it was ok. Had a fridge which was very good. Staff friendly. Location nice if you have a car

Michael Edwards: I originally booked for 2 nights and was fortunate to extend for a total of 14 nights consecutive. I've been in and out of hotels the past 9 months, and I can tell you that for the money, you will get more here than most of the country. I wrote this April 12, 2024. This place is very clean. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. And apparently good enough for a continuous Japanese clientele. I an sold, and telling all my friends visiting Los Angeles, California that they should DEFINITELY CONSIDER REDAC GATEWAY HOTEL ON WESTERN AVE!!!

Liz Lm: I love this hotel!!! We went there in 2018 and I can still remember that I enjoyed this place. It’s just a small hotel but it’s very comfortable. To me, they serve the best breakfast. I’m Asian so I love rice, bacon and salmon but they also have the typical American breakfast like cereal, bagel and others. Oh and this is the only hotel I know that have bidets in their toilet, how cool.😎 LOL. If we go back to California, we will definitely stay here again. 😊

Steve K.: to the app. Checking out is just as straight forward. No need to check out at the front desk and an invoice was emailed to me. Parking is ample and well lit at night. There is a 24 hour "market" by the front desk for basic beverage, beer and snacks which came in handy for the 3 nights I was in town. The downstairs bistro, while pricey, satisfies your hunger if you do not have the energy to go out to a restaurant. The hotel is geared more towards the solo business traveler, in my opinion, rather than tailored towards a family vacation travel, and they hit all the mark.
