NeuroBalance | Neurofeedback Therapy: what do users think?

Rita Cardoza: Jon, is absolutely amazing! My 10 year old son began dealing with episodes of anxiety and OCD. He became a completely different child and very closed off. He shut down to the point where he stopped talking and just whispering. I began taking him to see an LCSW but this did absolutely nothing for him. The recommendation at that point for my 10 year old was take him to psych so he can be evaluated for meds. This to me as a mother was the most upsetting comment to hear. Putting my child on medication was and remains a complete no! Jon was recommended to me for his LENS Neurofeedback, I have to say I was a bit skeptical but after talking with Jon and setting up an appointment I felt more at ease. We immediately felt a difference in my son’s moods after his first treatment and every treatment thereafter. I am so proud to say we are on treatment 7 and I have my old son back! I am so grateful for Jon and this treatment. Finding healing without medication is priceless, we are forever grateful for Jon and LENS therapy.

Fernanda Shin: We had a fantastic experience with Jon for neurofeedback lens therapy for our son. He was professional, warm, patient, and made our son feel comfortable. We saw significant improvements in his ability to focus and regulating his emotions. Highly recommended for anyone considering this therapy.

Her Own Frequency: is one of those treatments I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, as it does indeed help most people. The myriad benefits are quite unlike anything else, and they tend to make life better across the board.ALL the trust. Highly recommend.

Shawn Fried: As a sufferer from cluster headaches I am absolutely amazed at how effective this treatment has been in improving my condition. I highly recommend Jon as a caring, compassionate, and incredibly capable practitioner.

DerrickKet087: I’ve struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember, combined with the side effects and withdrawal from certain medications that left me with extreme panic attacks, insomnia, depression, tremors, and just overall poor mental health. I’ve tried everything from meditation to EMDR to little or no avail. I came across the prospect of neurofeedback therapy through social media and with nothing to lose and so much to gain, I decided to reach out to Jon at NeuroBalance. After 5 sessions, I can confidently say that the pulsating and overwhelming panic that I was suffering from has dissipated substantially. My depression, OCD, and intrusive thoughts have all become much more manageable on a daily basis. Jon is also a really cool guy who cares about people and is really passionate about his craft. I can’t wait to see what the future holds having discovered the benefits of neurofeedback therapy. You can’t put a price on peace of mind.

Sarah Resch: , anger and brain fog. Currently I’ve cut down my Lexapro from 20mg to 5mg with NO withdrawal symptoms.LENS really is amazing even at the first session you notice a change in yourself.

Kendra Taylor: Jon is amazing and a master at his practice. If you’re on the fence about trying LENS let this be your sign to go for it. He has really helped me in our short time working together. I can’t say enough great things about him.

Flynn Skidmore: Dr. John is great in every way. Measuring the most important elements of my life, including relationship health and joy, business success, and sports performance, my life has greatly improved in the two months I’ve been doing sessions at Neuro Balance. I highly recommend

Christopher Campana: . It had felt like I had spent 2 whole months not sleeping which really concerned me for my health. For the time being, I had been trying to take it easy and figure out my sleeping issue with my family's support. I had tried to take melatonin, drink chamomile tea, meditate, stretch, and other types of remedies before bed and without any improvement. There was one day in particular where I tried to workout intensely in order to tire myself out enough that my body will want to fall asleep. I had done sprints and laps around a track for about an hour but that didn't help either. I had also done acupuncture therapy as well to help my insomnia and no difference.I spoke to my doctor about my sleeping issue and what I got was sleeping meds but that wouldn't be a healthy long term solution.I found out about neurofeedback through the book 'The Body Keeps The Score' by Bessel Van Der Kolk a couple months before I had the sleep problem. I was thinking about trying it out in December so I decided to do some research in finding neurofeedback in LA. I was reluctant to try it but I realized I have to try something else to help me sleep. And with the first session done, I had managed to fall asleep and stay asleep for the first time in a long time. By session 3 it was a breakthrough. I felt like I'm gaining back my mental clarity, and a better sense of focus with less trouble sleeping. I had managed to get off sleep medications and I feel great. 6 sessions in and I feel back to normal. I have started going back to the gym

Jessie Hill: Neurobalance has helped me immensely with my anxiety and depression. I started seeing lasting results within the first two months. You can tell that he really cares about his clients wellbeing. I have been seeing Jon for about seven months, and can say that my anxiety has gone down by at least 70%. Lens Neurofeedback is a great alternative to medication and I’m glad I took the leap and made an appointment. Thank you Jon

Kelly Osterholt: My 9year old and I have been seeing Jon for a year and a half. He’s wonderful. Excellent with my extra spicey kiddo. He makes it fun and easy to do. At first , my son was only doing the sessions - after seeing the results in him - I started sessions for myself. Immediately I feel the shift in my body. I’ve walked in feeling overwhelmed and left completely at easy. Highly, highly recommend LENS Neurofeedback, and absolutely a must through Jon.

It's Scott: Jon is extremely enthusiastic and well informed when it comes to his LENS business. I had heard good things about this practice but came at it with caution and much skepticism as I called many places until I found one person who felt like they would be best to take me on this journey, which very clearly was Jon. I will say that after a few sessions it was obvious that I was benefitting from the process and seeing my “resting state” become far less anxious. It has been a pleasure sitting with Jon and learning more about LENS and I would highly recommend anyone give it a shot because it can really kickstart a new way of being for you, and there is no one better than Jon to make you feel comfortable and taken care of.

Leo Fultz: NeuroBalance has helped me with all of these! I’ve been trying new foods, I’ve been leaving the house more, and I’m even in college now! This has changed my life for the better, and I’m so glad I did it.I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it, it’s so worth it :

John Griffin: . The results were far greater and more varied than I expected. Genuinely shocking. Not only did I see a drastic reduction in my procrastination after just two sessions, I also began to realize that all the inner chatter - the anxiety, insecurity, self-doubt, obsessive behaviors, had all been dramatically dialed back. It was like the constant white noise has suddenly been turned way down. Now, after four sessions, I feel more present in my life, more grounded than I ever really remember feeling. I’ve been on a journey of self-improvement for about seven years now and I’m used to change taking time. So to experience these types of results this quickly has been astounding to me. I’m recommending Jon and his practice to everyone I know. The man is a gem, and I will be going to him for a long, long time to come.

Brittany Soriano: I heard about neurofeedback from a family friend and have been hesitant to try it for years. With work feeling more demanding and our world getting stranger, I thought I'd give neurofeedback a try. This is also after being in therapy, working out daily, and meditating for years. I am a huge believer in having a toolkit of ways to help and take care of myself and lately, I just needed an extra push. I'd also had capital-T traumas happen in my past that I have forgiven but find that my body often continued to live in *that fearful state. I didn't want to feel nervous all the time, anymore. When I first met Jon, truthfully I was nervous about going into a stranger's home since he runs the business out of his home. I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed into a calm, tranquil living room that is set up like a clinic except more homey and peaceful. I feel like the supportive environment has been a part of my positive experience. My initial consultation lasted about 45 minutes. Jon was super engaged. He was thoughtful, kind, warm, and very knowledgeable about this science and art. I didn't google too much about neurofeedback so I wouldn't train my body to expect a certain outcome which really helped with my unbiased ability to recognize the immediate difference after one treatment. Jon clearly knows what he's doing and it's really helpful and comforting to work with someone who is invested in my body re-learning peace and stability.Fast forward: I am about to go in for my 6th session. Every subsequent 30-minute session has ended with me feeling like I just finished a 3-hour meditation session. This has been an investment but considering how my baseline of calm has returned, was worth everything ten-fold. I don't think I'll need to go in as frequently as I have been but am planning to do neurofeedback tune-ups every month or so as my work/life demands it.It feels really good to give myself a second chance at peace. We all deserve peace.

Dana Sinicki: , my migraines seem to be gone. I’ve had them since 1996 and was taking Immitrex for as long. To be able to go through a week with not only avoiding a headache but to also stop taking a pretty serious medication, has just been a life changer. Lens neurofeedback works!!

Matt Hues: Jon is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled LENS practitioner. That aside though, he is a great guy! His treatments have improved my life in so many ways including anxiety, sleep, and motivation! I was skeptical of LENS when I first heard about it but I am now one of its biggest proponents thanks to Jon.

J M: This guy does amazing work. Was skeptical at first but it totally worked for me and greatly sped up the recovery from my depression that followed from a manic episode.

Marlee Remball: , and a minor back and head injury… I worked with Jon for many weeks to get my brain waves back in balance and after each session I could immediately feel the relief and clarity that I always longed for. The easiest way for me to explain neuro feedback is imagine you’re a computer and you need to control alt delete to clear out all the programs and start fresh. This is exactly that but for your brain! Don’t hesitate, call Jon and make the investment in your mental health, there is no better investment.

Sheyla Molho: I’m a 39 female, mom, and business owner, and started experiencing a lot of depression and anxiety in the last few months, due to life circumstances and just a brain that doesn’t function likes it’s supposed to. I found Jon online, and read his great reviews. I have to say, the reviews are totally on point. His home is where the neuro balance appointments take place, and he has a set up that is so professional and calming. I love going there and look forward to every appointment. Jon is very easy going and just an overall nice man. He’s very accommodating and knows his stuff. I always feel better when I leave the appointments and he doesn’t try to sell you anything. He knows his stuff works and believes in it. Try it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
