La Jolla Group Camp Reservations check in and collect vehicle tags from Thornhill Broome Campground.
Sycamore Cove, Mugu Beach, and La Jolla Canyon parking lots open at 8am and close at sunset. Sycamore Canyon and Thornhill Broome campground gates open at 8am and close at 10pm. No entry after 10pm.
Dogs are allowed in the campground and day-use areas, but not on trails.
The maximum trailer height is 13'6 and the maximum combined length for vehicles and trailers is 31 feet. Visitors with vehicles and trailers exceeding a combined total length of 31 feet will be denied entry.
The park features hiking trails, swimming, body surfing, and surf fishing. It also includes the jagged pinnacles of the Boney Mountains State Wilderness Area.
