Visitors can make same-day reservations for campsites and lodging, with bookings extending from the arrival date to the desired departure date based on availability and the park's maximum stay rules.
The campground gates are open from 8am to 10pm, and no entry is allowed after 10pm.
Dogs are allowed in day-use areas, the campground, and North Beach (north of Lifeguard Tower 3), but not on backcountry trails or South Beach (south of Lifeguard Tower 3).
The park offers 1.5 miles of beach for swimming, surfing, windsurfing, surf fishing, and beachcombing, as well as tidepools, coastal caves, and reefs for exploring. It also features back-country hiking, Junior Rangers and campfire programs during the summer, and school field trips during the school year.
The park has token-operated showers, electrical hookups with 20, 30, and 50 AMP options, and fire rings where burning firewood, Duraflame, and charcoal briquettes is allowed when fire level permits.
