Kristie Meyer: I am a new patient to House Call Doctor Thousand Oaks. I have anxiety about doctors and am particular about my medical care. I have had the most wonderful experience so far with this service and particularly with my new doctor, Ellen Crowe MD.My initial medical evaluation began with a lab tech who came to my home a week before I was to meet with Dr. Crowe. The tech was a lovely person, very warm and professional. She drew my labs painlessly and did an ECG.The next week, Dr. Crowe came to my home for our appointment. She spent well over an hour with me. We mostly just chatted, covering every aspect of my medical history, my current health status, and my lifestyle around food and exercise. I did not feel rushed and sensed that Dr. Crowe was taking in every single thing I said. She went over my lab results and began to discuss a possible treatment plan for me moving forward.A few days later on their Spruce portal, I began receiving messages from Dr. Crowe. One was very long and personal, a detailed plan moving forward of how I can maximize my good health by making some changes. I’d been on a hypertension medication for many years that left me feeling tired all the time. I’d gained weight because exercise felt like such a chore. Dr. Crowe changed my medications, and added another to help me lose weight. She was adamant about me getting back to the gym. We interacted every week over the next couple of months as she monitored my progress and my blood pressure readings.I am already reaping the benefits of these changes, feeling better than I have in years, exercising regularly, and losing weight as well. I feel like I am getting the best possible medical care to insure many more years of healthy living.I strongly recommend this medical service. The medical staff I have encountered through House Call Doctor are compassionate, responsive, and flexible. I particularly appreciate that Dr. Crowe stays on top of current medical science in making recommendations for my care.

When we called in a panic on a Saturday morning due to an elderly family member needing immediate attention, they were there in a hurry. The care our loved one was provided was thorough, organized and conscientious. The communication was excellent both on site and on the phone. Paul, who answered our initial phone call was very informative and helped us tremendously work our way through a complicated health care situation. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer then Covid came along with all the restrictions for the Hospitals. If it wasn’t for Dr Rosaasen keeping me informed I don’t know what I would have done. I would go into his office and he was able to check the Hospital records and let me know what tests were done and why. You can say he was my life saver. It has been 3 years since Ed has passed and Dr Rosaasen is still a carrying and wonderful supporter in my life.

T: Jonathan is amazing! He is the first doctor that took the time to listen me and didn't just blow me off. He has an amazing personality and wonderful sense of humor. There is no "God" complex that you find with most doctors and he evens reads research . He has become a great friend to me and my husband and we will never see anyone else.

Dr Drew didn’t even tell me he was leaving. I showed up to my follow up and Jonathan was there. He also wanted to pull me off my anxiety meds that I started 6 months prior bc HE didn’t believe in them. My doc in Santa Barbara put me on them and they helped me cope and got my life back on track but Dr. Drew didn’t think 2x about what my history was. Thank god Jonathan listened.2. The only con and I can agree with another reviewer is the communication. I however, think it’s the staff and not the docs. There are times when no one answers the phone. The girls are not friendly nor warm upon greeting so I think that needs to improve a lot. I know for sure they didn’t give him my message.3. To counter that-you can get your results online. This is the digital age.

IAM Frances: and detected my thyroids were out of whack. This also can lead to mental issues. None of those TV docs figured out what was wrong with me even though I was close to death.Aside from helping my thyroids get back in order, he trusted me with meds while i got therapy without judgement. After a year of taking anxiety meds, I got off of them bc he listened.Also, a month in, I complained about my stomach hurting and while most docs would take educated guesses and sometimes think you’re a hypochondriac, he took precautions and sent me for imaging. A few hours later I had my gallbladder removed. My gallbladder should have been a flag for my NYC docs since it was seconds from exploding but it wasn’t. He trusted me when I said I felt abnormal just bc i have an extremely high tolerance for pain. A good doctor will submit to being careful vs a know it all.I moved to SM and they are the only ones that I trust so i make the drive. He and his wife have done everything they can to help me with my ongoing medical issues since I still need a few more surgeries. I cannot believe anyone who speaks any less of them. If there is ever a time where someone didn’t get the best experience, think about how you have off days. I always try things twice but I cannot imagine this office not being less than 4 Stars.As a weight management doctor, I am proof he knows his stuff. I weighed 145 before he found my thyroid issue and a month later, I was down to 122 at 5’9”/35 yo. My ex linebacker fiancé who left the NFL stood 6’7”, 364 lbs and he too was diagnosed with a metabolic disorder. After 6 months, he was down to 245. We listened to him and did exactly what he said.Jonathan has saved my life and his wife has helped me stay looking young.

Mark Thompson: Dr. Jonathan is a fantastic MD. He takes his time whenever I've had to see him, providing answers to my questions and concerns. His patient portal option allows me to review my test results and asked him questions. His responses to my questions are very prompt. Really like the family practice overall, very nice MD's and medical staff. Very fortunate to have such a solid MD.

Maliyah is beyond polite, extremely thorough, and really patient with my grandmother when she goes on about something before getting to her actual point. She always gives her an extra heads up about upcoming things before and after her appointments; and for some elders, that’s a BIG help. A big thank you to Maliyah for being so amazing every time.

Natalia Staneva: I've been Dr. Feldman's patient for the last 12 years. I have never met a more caring doctor who observes her patients holistically. She goes above and beyond in diagnosing the root of the illness rather than just treating the symptoms. From obgyn visits to more serious issues, she is thorough and has a great follow up. Dr. Feldman never prescribed drugs to me unless she felt I really needed them. Her philosophy of treating a whole person rather than a symptom has given me confidence that she has my back. I've referred my co-workers and my family to Dr. Feldman and everyone seemed happy to be treated by her. She makes sure that all my tests are sent to her for review; I have communicated with her through my portal as well. I have some chronic conditions so it is important to me that she compares my test results, remembers my history and pays attention to details. When a lot of people complain to me that their doctors spend more time typing notes during their appointments than looking at their patients, I always praise Dr. Feldman who takes the time to address my issues. I can't say enough good things about her.

Sonia Vigen: Dr. Feldman is a GREAT doctor. She really cares about her patients. She takes the time to listen. She also takes the time to figure out underlying health issues that may be causing symptoms and she is interested in solving underlying issues rather than just covering up symptoms with more meds. Which brings me to my next point. She believes in wholistic medicine and nutrition and she always strives to stay informed about new information coming out about disease prevention and health maintenance rather than just treating disease once it manifests. She even goes so far as to lead meditation seminars for her patients for free. She is great, great, GREAT! Love her!

Dave Dolnick: I have been a patient of Dr. Feldman since 2012 and have gotten excellent medical care during the past 4+ years. She spends more time with me during an appointment than any other primary medical doctor I have had. She is thorough, gives sound medical advice, and is a very good diagnostician. I like that she can offer alternate methods of therapy along with conventional ones. Dr. Feldman has a good office staff although personnel does change rather frequently. She is always friendly and comes into the exam room with a smile, which is nice. Dr. Feldman gets my top rating!

She personally spends more time with you during your visits discussing your health, habits, concerns, etc than any other doctor I've been to in the past. She listens very well and always gives you options, and she isn't one of those doctors who wants to jump to medication and follow ups for every little thing.
