John Davison: This amazing place will close it's doors forever September 30 2022. California laws and taxes have driven another business eastward. Take care Chris you will be missed sorely.
Rick Willett: Came in with a passing interest in learning to dive...keep coming back because now I can't get enough! Deb has been an excellent instructor, making each step easy and comfortable, all the while making sure that I'm safe and know what I'm doing and why. Chris and Deb have taken a business and created a family, creating an inviting atmosphere to both learn and enjoy a great time...I look forward to many more trips with them over the years to come!A few years have passed and a few hundred dives, Aloha also means home!
Brian Charles: The mask they sold me was perfect and I had an awesome experience in Maui. Highly recommend.
Brandy Morgan: Aloha Dive is a great place to get certified. The instructors are experienced and make you feel at ease if it's your first time diving. The shop feels like a family and everyone is welcome.
Lidia Palma: Chris and Deb are absolutely amazing! I’m always greeted warmly and in a friendly manner. My son and I got our Nitrox certificate here as well as his NAUI Rescue and I got my NAUI Advanced. Best decision ever to get trained by such professionals.
Charly Pino: The best family
Ipex Insurance: Amazing people my son took his diving license with them very professional highly recommended
Scott Spooner: Full selection of scuba gear, plus repair and tank fills. Friendly owner. Instruction and dive trips also available. Highly recommended.
Scott Flaschner: Alllllloooooahaaaaaaa!
tracy bench: Very helpful and knowledgeable‼️ They Managed to get me a 1.5 mm /2mm wetsuit to swim in my pool now that the weather and water is cold while other stores were not able to accommodate my needs. I went to REI and the surf/ skate/ scuba shop in Northridge but no one could get me the right wetsuit. Either out of stock or the wetsuit was too thick and they couldn't order it for me in my size‼️ I'm extremely happy with my purchase‼️
Xo Rtf: This place is the best, it’s close to my house and I like going there to buy my accessories and stuff, fill and inspect my tanks and always enjoy the company of the owner. You get a real welcome and warm feeling talking to the owner, his lovely wife and the occasional friendly staff.I’m all about moms and pops shop over the big corporate settings, and this place just fits that model perfectly.Keep up the good work guys, thank you and see you soon
Aaron Pollock: Went intoget a buy a weight belt and became a big fan.Lots of knowledge and alot of help.
Robyn Reyna: The instructors here are outstanding. They took our diving very seriously and made sure that we were safe and prepared. We are a family of five, and we were getting certified together so I was pretty anxious about my kids getting hurt. I had nothing to worry about though. We went out with 3 instructors, and my youngest was able to work with someone one on one. The whole process went very smoothly, and we didn't have to worry about any part of it, as they have every aspect planned for you. I highly recommend Aloha Dive for your scuba certification!
Alex K: Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Roye Mizreb: Getting certified by aloha dive was and is the best decision i have ever made. Not only are they inexpensive, but very VERY patient with students and flexible with everyones schedule.I love the fact that everyone treats each other like family and not like a business.I highly recommend everyone and anyone to come get certified with them. You will not regret itI'm super happy i joined the aloha dive family and can't wait for all the adventures to come!!

Omar Alaqil: The best customer service ever! The were so helpful on the phone and on social media. A must try!
Reilly Walker: Great experience, we felt very safe and enjoyed our dives.
Justin Liu: I highly recommend SC Diving if you're at all interested in scuba diving. Robert and the crew are all enthusiasts about diving and work really hard to make sure everyone has a good experience.I just walked in one day to get some information, and they not only helped me to get certified, but also provided opportunities to continue diving with them. Since then, I've gotten to dive all over Southern California, and I just recently went on a really great trip to the Channel Islands led by CJ, one of the instructors who did a great job to set everything up for us for the trip.
Dan Perdue (Partsguy559): My kids got me a scuba open water diver certification class. Already finished the classroom time and am excited to hit the pool and get to take my first breaths under water. Robert the owner is very friendly and not too pushy like some dive shops I've visited before. Looking forward to getting kitted out and continuing my education. Tom taught my first class one on one and was very friendly and really made me feel welcome to the diving community.
xr: , I just wanted to raise awareness to this issue. Overall, I recommend diving with Joe from SC Diving, he's a cool guy and he knows his stuff. He'll even feature you in one of his awesome diving videos!
Jeffrey Blair: Great team of instructors and reasonably priced!

Monica Knapton: So friendly! If you want to go diving, a lot, make friends with these guys. Everyone was super helpful an willing to go above & beyond.Good prices too.

Jamie Ferns: Extremely knowledgable instructors with lots of experience. Excellent pricing on gear and classes. Best diving shop in Ventura County! You can really tell that they go above and beyond for their customers and students!!
Michael Malone: The shop is small, but they have a surprisingly good selection of gear. Nice shop and good service. I took my tanks in for hydros and the price is reasonable and the turn around is about a week.

Max Daucher: was very friendly and helpful.
Matt Ware: Carter is the man! Friendly and very helpful. He answered all my questions and was very accommodating to this diving newbie. Malibu Divers has the best price I could find in the area for Open Water Certification.
Stephen Stender: Stopped in here today to rent gear. Whoever was working thre counter was fast , efficient and helpful. Scuba gear was in good shape and very good price for a day rental
Dennis Wu: Super helpful and friendly owner!
Chris Koehler: Best dive shop, hands down. Barbara and Carter are super knowledgeable, professional and personable. Great prices on gear too!
Ali Tabar: Amazing night dive with Stephen. The staff here are super friendly.Had a night dive while visibility was very poor. But honestly that was part of the excitement! Was able to see lobsters, big fish, eel and a huge crab under the water. The water time was around 1 hour, launched around 8pm and back at 9pm, with about 20-30 mins diving and the rest was swimming to the kelp forest and rocky area. They explained everything at the beginning and things went smoothly and relaxed. Thanks Carter and Stephen! I hope to get my night diving certification soon with you guys!
Martha Isais: Good prices and service!👍👍
Art Morale4247: Veteran friendly. Outstanding instructors 👍
Nathan Dana Aldrich: !Personal attentive mastery, all day, year/decade In , year/decade out.* most dive trips on the SPECTRA north of the Bu
Jan-Philipp Lauer: I had two wonderful shore dives with Malibu Divers. My guide Tzar was very knowledgeable and friendly and nature spoiled us: We saw horn sharks, spiny lobsters, garibaldi, and of course lots of kelp. On the first dive we did, Tzar even found a GoPro. For my next visit to LA, I would consider coming back and doing more extensive diving with Malibu Divers, e.g. on Catalina Island. Thank you for the great experience!
Jaephy Robblee: Had a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful and the diver instructor Tamer was great. We had an outstanding time getting our scuba cert.
Bob Torres: This guy was so professional and helpful! I defiantly recommend this place for anything you might need!
DCPrecisionLLC: Awesome customer service from a small business owner! Very impressed with his friendliness and knowledge.
K C: I am a troop leader and brought a group of scouts out to Camp Emerald Bay for the Rugged S and Rugged O programs. From the beginning, Carter made sure things were organized and easy for me as the adult leader. On site, the boys had a blast and came home RAVING about the experience and their instructors - Barbara, Kari, Matt, and Alex. It is clear that Malibu Divers loves what they do, and they do it well. They went above and beyond to make this week *amazing* for all involved, with efficiency and excellence in their program from start to finish. I would definitely come back, and can't wait to go get certified myself! Thank you for everything!
Ashley Tedesco: My son came home ecstatic from a week-long diving experience with Malibu Divers. He said his dive instructors, Corey & Natalie were great!

Angela White: If I could give this dive shop 10 stars I would! My husband and I recently traveled to California for vacation, and we wanted to take a dry suit diver course while there. In2Deep customized an itinerary that dovetailed perfectly with our schedule, and Nick and Abbie were fantastic instructors. In2Deep truly gave us a customized experience, even portaging our gear out to Catalina Island and back for us. Another huge plus is that they rent dry suits, while many other shops in the area do not. This is a family owned business that truly cares about their customers, and it shows!
Geoff Walsh: Great local dive shop, much much better than any of the other dive shops within a 25 mile drive. Super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. High quality dive gear, reasonably priced. Excellent quality instruction. Very social as well, with free monthly dive club meetings. Highly recommended for all your diving needs[Updated at the beginning of 2021] I googled In2Deep Diving to get their new address and directions to their new expanded store, and started reading some of the recent reviews. There seem to be a number of different reviews, all recent by people with exactly three reviews, that are less than 5 stars and reference people who don't work at In2Deep, or in one case, a pool location In2Deep doesn't use for confined water training. All I can guess is that some of the other dive shops in the area are trying to lower In2Deep's rating with less than 5 star reviews, because In2Deep is such a great dive shop and everyone is going here instead of other dive shops. I suggest anyone reading the less than 5 star reviews look at web sites for other dive shops in the area, see who their staff names are, and figure out for themselves where everyone is leaving to go to In2Deep![Updated in early 2022] The shop is doing great with lots of classes and local dive boat trips[Updated August 2023] In2Deep is now one of the leading dive shops in terms of number of divers certified this year!
Cali Cam: I visited In2Deep yesterday to order a prescription dive mask. It's been several years since I've been diving, so I went in knowing brand names I wanted to look for, but nothing about "current" gear. Fortunately, dive masks haven't changed all that much!Tara helped out by showing me several masks and being patient while testing them all for a good seal. She spent the time to make me comfortable with the process. After trying on several masks, I actually selected the first one Tara showed me. What a pleasant surprise to see it was not among the more expensive options.Shopping at In2Deep was a very fun experience, as a dive store should be. Thanks Tara ... well done! I'll be back!
Luc Marceau: We recently had several of our scouts participate in scuba certification at Emerald Bay Scout Camp. In2Deep, and their instructor Jake, did a fantastic job with training. They had fun, but there was a great deal of attention focused upon education and safety. We greatly appreciate the dedication of Jake and the rest of the In2Deep diving staff. THANK YOU!
Kay Zee: My perspective is that I like to shop local when I can. Being a musician, former skier and enthusiast bike rider, I have a lot experience going into these specialty shops. Have worked in a plant nursery, high end hi-fi sale and 4 years as a custom ski boot fitter, I have done my time on the other side of the counter as well.I left another shop in frustration when they couldn't or wouldn't help a clueless newbie wade through the overwhelming choices in dive gear. I found in2deep even though it was quite a bit further and let me tell you dear reader, given my experience outlined in the paragraph above, THIS is how it should be done. Helpful and attentive without being pesky. Clearly knew the gear well and without patronization led some cluless but not naive newbies easily to purchases they were comfortable with and a feeling of "THIS is our dive shop."
James Peters: My wife and I are from out of town and wanted to check out the local dive shops. Staff were amazing, knowledgeable, and made us feel very welcome. We even got a tour of the entire shop. If your looking for a place to rent gear, take classes, or book a dive this would be the place to go. Thank your for a great experience !! Jim and Kim PetersPs. Horrible experience at another local dive which can be seen in my reviews.
m ty: What a great team! Helped me solve my unusual situation within my timeframe and parameters. High quality instructors helped get my Open Water Certification completed at beautiful dives in Catalina and Malibu.
Kenneth Skipper-Dotta: were great instructors. Everyone at the shop was wonderful. Would highly recommend.
Marius Weitzel: . Soteris did really go the extra mile all the time in being very focused to give me as a customer a great experience. We did not only have nice dives together, but also had a lot of great conversations. I can only recommend this school
nicholas miller: I work in public safety and was required to get my rescue diver certification and dry suit certification on short notice. I called around to MANY dive shops asking to get my certifications ASAP even pointing out that I understand if they have to charge me more for private classes. Every dive shop I called would not accommodate my time frame. In2Deep bent over backwards to help me. Amazing customer service. Can’t thanks them enough. The vibe in the shop is more of a family then a business, which is great. Highly recommend.
Nathan Hall: Amazing diving and a enjoyable experience!
