Note that I am a retired physician. This visit was fine, & was much better than the last, when the dr was in a hurry. He listened to me and explained things well, and made an appropriate referral. My experience with this practice is that often the wait for an appointment is too long and often Dr Lewton seems to be rushed and far too busy. That was not the case this time.

First time ever, I felt HEARD by an open-minded physician who was not burdened by PRE-CONCEIVED NOTIONS formulated before even walking into the room.No GASLIGHTING detected. I traveled all the way to Santa Rosa after researching Dr. Lewton, on the heels of a traumatic encounter with the local Providence, ''neurologist'', Dr.Iverson, and also, a definitely unsatisfying performance at UC Davis neurology. Gaslighting was a major factor at Davis. Also, jumping to conclusions played a role. This search for a diagnosis has been beyond frustrating. Thank God for Dr. Lewton!
