Since 2013, Karis Academy has been on a mission to promote cultural awareness through our language programs that encourage learners from all backgrounds to not only develop new language skills, but learn about culture and traditions from another country as well! Whether your child is learning their heritage language so they can converse with grandparents, getting a head start on language skills for their future career, or choosing a language they are just passionate about learning, we are excited to have them here!


Our language classes are designed by professional teachers, using fun and interactive teaching strategies that include art, music, games, and cultural awareness!


Mandarin Chinese is the most widely spoken language in the world! We offer small group classes for children ranging from Beginner to Advanced levels, and individualized tutoring for children and adults.

Summer is the best time for children to focus their efforts on learning a language or improving their writing skills. We offer Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp.

Our Korean language classes are a great way to learn basic conversation skills, reading and writing with the Hangul alphabet, and gain exposure to Korean culture in a small-class setting for non-native Korean speakers.

Karis Academy is an approved vendor with many local charter schools including Cabrillo Point, Blue Ridge Academy, Ocean Grove Charter, Excel Charter Academy, and Suncoast Prep. We can schedule small group classes or tutoring to meet your needs – contact us to let us know what you’re looking for!
