They had exactly what we needed, I bought their last 2 infinity switches and installed them at their home with a new element and now range elements all heat up and work fantastic. The switches and element were priced well. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I recommend this store for hard to find old appliance parts!

I called the Appliance Parts Company and they told me that the parts were in stock. The person answering the phone was very cordial and knowledgeable. The owner greeted me and before I could put it down, he knew what it was and brought me a replacement within a minute. Wow! When I couldn't find the model # of my GE kitchen stove to order a knob, I was told to pull out the broiler drawer and look in that area. I found a label attached to the frame near the floor. We hadn't used the broiler in many years and would never have thought to look there.

I haven't needed another appliance part since, but I have referred everyone who has ever mentioned an appliance to this shop because of the way he runs his business. When you find one of these businesses that are honest and respectful, if you are smart, you never let it go.

He was very knowledge and helpful, he informed me that he could get the original parts the next morning.I was intrigued so I drove to see the store and it reminded me of old school parts stores in England. I am a big fan of supporting small family owned businesses, especially ones like this with amazing customer service and great prices.I would definitely use this store again and would strongly recommend that we all support this parts store.

1QTpie: I went to Appliance Parts East to purchase a water pump for my Maytag washing machine. When I got in there, Stan was on the phone with a customer for at least five minutes trying to help him troubleshoot his problem with their appliance. I was really impressed with the level of customer service, and knowledge that Stan had in providing free advice to customers over the phone. The second time I went in there there was a customer in the store, asking Stan, a bunch of questions, and once again, he was giving them advice on things to try to troubleshoot the problem. Stan could easily just be a parts store, where he only sells parts, but he also offers free advice, which is very rare these days to have somebody knowledgeable and give you advice without charging. This is the only appliance store that is open on Sundays. Most appliance stores are open Monday through Friday or Monday through Saturday but he is open on Sundays and it’s really convenient when you’re trying to repair your appliance on a weekend. I will definitely be buying my parts there because I know I will be sold the right part.

I did some research online for what might have gone wrong and what parts I might need.I went to Appliances Parts East and spoke with Stan. Not only did he have the parts I thought I needed, he advised me that I might not need all these parts and what might be the most likely cause of my problem based on the symptoms my washer was exhibiting.I replaced the part Stan recommended and my dryer came back to wonderful life! Deirdre Finn: ARG remains our first call for appliance repairs. We've called Mr. Singh several times over the past few years. He is always prompt, reliable, honest and reasonably priced. We feel confident in his advice and trust his recommendations. A few years back we had a problem with our washing machine, and he recommended we replace it as the cost of repair was not worthwhile. Most recently it was our tumble dryer. It's about 18 years old and I was certain we'd need to replace it too. But Mr Singh told us that tumble dryers can last for a very long time. He quickly discovered that the main control panel had failed and looked into ordering a new one. Then discovered that this particular part is no longer produced. But he said he has somebody who could repair it, took the part away and brought it back two days later. After installing the repaired part, our dryer is running smoothly once again. My 23 year old washing machine started leaking, and I needed an accurate assessment of the situation; replace the unit or fix it since I can't stand the new high tech stuff that only lasts for about 5-10 years or so...until the electrical gremlins hatch. So after a quick search I found ARG, they were the first company I called. Apparently Ned was on a job pretty close by, said he'd be by in an hour or so.Ned is one of the nicest, warmest and friendliest person you will meet. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing, and provided me with the answers I was looking for. I definitely recommend ARG.

I have had two rentals and our own home that Tommy with Bishop Appliance Repair has helped. He has taken care my dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine and dryer. We have a full-sized stackable washer and dryer on the 2nd floor of our townhouse and there is NO WAY we want to have to replace that - he has kept it going. YEA! His pricing is fair and he works hard to make things right.

I have a 16 year old maytag washer that is always unbalanced in spin cycle with and without clothes and water. He would come out and relevel or diagnose problem at a very reasonable price. I believe that the snubbers are worn out and he said the price to fix that is more than a new washer. I decided to buy a new washer. He said to phone him when I chose one and he would tell me if it is good or not.

We spoke for a few minutes on the phone about a microwave problem, and he suggested that it is too far broken and I should replace the microwave. He made nothing on this, he was just helping unlike the other appliance repair people! This guy is great!

But, the dryer motor started to fail - then failed completely.I thought about buying a new stack. But, they stopped making large capacity stacked washer/dryers. Who wants the condo-size drums? Not me. I found that we could buy new "stackable" washer and dryer units. But, I was looking at $2000+ for a situation where only the dryer had stopped working. I needed to get my stack working again.I found Tommy because of his overwhelming number of positive reviews on Yelp. I called and left a message - which he returned within 15-minutes. I like that...I explained my situation, and he already knew what to do. He stopped by right away to take a look and collect some model number information. Tetiana Niemkova: The ice-maker in my Maytag fridge continued to produce popping noises, driving me crazy. I was waiting for my husband after his 3-day business trip to come and fix it, but couldn’t wait anymore and had to call for the repair service. Never regretted for it!!! The guys are amazing, knowledgeable and courteous, the service is just right! They explained me the problem in a simple language and guided how to take care of our fridge to make it last longer. Just needed the water filter replacement, no big deal, but saved my nerves for sure!
Yuliya Gribonos: We were having problems with our Kitchen Aid double drawer dishwasher.Bottom chamber would collect water if not in use for 5-6 days and water got foul stinky smell.I called 2 different company in 6 months period of time, each visit cost at least $100. Long story short- problem still existed.My friend from work recommended Dan as reliable and honest worker.Dan was pleasant and professional, give me detailed explanation of problem, took extra time to run a tests and labor cost was lower then previous 2.Dan also followed up and called to check on my dishwasher status.The water collection problem was fixed and didn’t return since Dan worked on it nearly 5 months ago.I would definitely call Dan again!
Jon Simms: We have a 15 year old Thermador gas cooktop stove with a wok burner. Ever since we bought it we have had trouble with one of the burners not lighting without the use of a lighter. We have had many repair companies replace parts over the year and none of that results in the stove burner working any better. Dan, from Mr. Fix Appliance came by to replace the hinges on our oven door and after getting that taken care of he asked my wife if it was OK for him to take a look at the stove burner. He worked on it for a couple of hours but eventually got all burners working properly. I was amazed at the persistence he showed in moving parts around to isolate where the problem might be. I own a service company and I hope that all of my employees are just as persistent and knowledgeable as Dan. He went way above and beyond the call of duty and it made my wife and I ecstatic that he actually fixed the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
